Hello Growmies, I'm back with some more updates from the heart of my garden as we journey through the second week of flowering! Our star plant is right on track, stretching beautifully as she enters deeper into the flowering stage. It's a delight to see her grow and evolve so perfectly. I've noticed some signs of tip burn, so I'm planning to reduce the nutrient levels even further in the upcoming week. It's all about finding that sweet spot where she's happiest and healthiest.This week saw her go through defoliation twice. Depending on her stretch in the coming days, I might go in for one more round of defoliation. Keeping a close eye on her growth to make sure every leaf and bud gets the light and air it needs. The first little bud-sites are beginning to show, a promising sign of the beautiful blooms to come. It's these small milestones that make the whole process so rewarding. I started germination of 3 Gorilla Girl beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! Some background information on my experience with Gorilla Girl. I've only grown this variety out once. Did her in a 1 gallon SOG grow and she was a beast! Fat Chunky main cola just loaded to the tits in trichomes. Amazing bud structre and a definite cut above alot of the genetics flooding the market. I cant wait to let this variety loose in a larger scale grow. See what these powerhouse genetics really have to offer. Haven't grown out much sweet seeds stuff. But what I did test drive got there genetics into a larger setup. So caps off to them.

NOTES: This week I'm starting to flush with only water and Final Solution -nutrient, so emptying the tanks and refilling them as doing so. I'll try to keep the pH at around 5,8-6,2. Overall everything looks pretty good and I can't wait to harvest. 🙏 Day99 (23.1.) Took some pics and videos for the diary with my shitty camera. Day100 (24.1.) Emptying and refilling all nutrient tanks with fresh solution as mentioned above. Day101 (25.1.) Increased the dark-/night-time by 30min so now the lights are 11,5h On / 12,5 Off. Day102 (26.1.) Day103 (27.1.) Reducing 30min of light again so now my timer is set to 11h On / 13h Off. I also moved the lights a bit higher for the rest of the grow, about 10-15cm higher than before. Day104 (28.1.) Day105 (29.1.)

The plant is drinking over 3 gallons of water every day. I’ve lowered the PPM’s to 600. Everything seems to be ok now. I will try to change the reservoir water every 5 days from now on. She started to smell amazing! Very lemony 🍋 P.S. Lowerd the TDS to 550 PPM on day 46. Also just realized that I stressed my plan with to much light. I moved the light at 13” and dimmed to 95% ... I will continue to dim it 2% every day...

Defoliated the plants and did some mainlining with wires. Dry weight #1: 2.5 kg. #2: 2.5 kg. 8-8 Temps: 21.7 to 27.9 degrees Humidity: 41% to 64% 9-8 Watering: Both 1500 ml. Dry Weight #1: 3.0 kg. #2: 2.8 kg. 10-8 No info. 11-8 Temps: 22 to 28.1 degrees Humidity: 50% to 63%

Week 8 Here came fall. End of last week plant seemed hungry, the fade wasn't progressing as supposed so I gave her two nutes round with only water round in between them. I used bottled feeding: biobizz biobloom + top max (2ml each per liter), ghe ripen (2ml per liter), solved micronutrients and calmag (not mixed, one time one the next the other, 1-0,5 ml per lt). Solution EC was about 1,4, starting with 0,3 tap water. She reacted well to the feeding in my opinion. now the fade is progressing more naturally. I did observe that the plant under the less powerful COBS in the same tent are doing better then the ones under the sp250 wich has a higher par output, so I raised the light to 45-50cm from canopy. This had a positive effect on the plants imho. I'll stay a little bit further from the beginning in my next grow. I took a sample under the microscope to take some tricho pictures, they look beautifully clouded but the buds still has to ripen some 50% more. Based on that I think we are arriving to an end in 10-15 days max. Happy bottanic guys

Curing time. Doing it in jars. I feel like only half the product is full and thick and other half loose and stringy buds. I had many issues getting it right for my first time which I believe led to this. One is watering which I didn’t fully grasp until too late, other is over doing nutes, then I had temp issues. Learning a lot and really happy that I was able to harvest anything.
