I am very happy with the Chiquita Bananas in the end. Clones were total seed factories but I think we may have a go at making some hash with those as the foot long buggers are caked in crystal.. 62g and 63g . Plant 1 is just a monster for me 365g wet. Long dense buds thick dank smell of tropical sweets. Not as much seed as I thought there would be so glad I was convinced to push her a bit more. Plant 2 is smaller but has taken a pure turn in the last week.i don't think she was stressed at Al. I did switch to just water for last 10 days but apart from that I dunno. I don't think she has any thing with pure in her genetics but either way she looks beautiful. 169g wet from her. Everything is drying for the next 10 days when I shall report back. Hi all buddies! First crop from hydro nft growth. Growth went well, I had some management problems in changing nutrients from veg to bloom which delayed the harvest for a week or two. Sensi Seeds' Skunk # 1F is incredibly resistant to mold and insect attacks, very close internodes ensure low height and compact buds. Unfortunately I chose the mother phenotype wrong, I found the lowest as I wanted but I lost the fatness of the buds present in other phenotypes, but the game was worth the same and I am very proud of it! I collected after 94 days of flowering, the last 72h 20kg ice cubes in the tank and total darkness which the last 24h without irrigation. After cutting I hung the whole plants in the tent for 24 / 48h 19 ° C 55% HR. Two days of wet trim to 8 girls and I hung their colas in the tent to continue drying. With a girl i tried dry trim but i will avoid next time. After a week in the tent I cleaned the colas and removed all the sticks, I placed everything in airtight bags in the refrigerator for 5 days 12 ° C 65% HR (daily check). Now dark storage room at a temperature of 18 ° C 65% HR. At the last weighing a few days ago it was more than 500g, from now it does not lose any more weight. it's only the beginning on week 6 and are in flower stage, tree looks good loving her feed, loving her space just loving life. Today I decided to put her outside in the sun such a beautiful Sunday it was, I'll keep this updated with more pics by Saturday on the closing of week 6 .

Overall a fun and enjoying flower of the purple sunset. She transitions quickly and stretchs fast. Being an indica hybrid she doesn't get too tall, thus creating strong and sturdy branches to hold her fast dense frosty nugs. During the stretch she loves a good amount of grow notes. Week 2 to 4 she starts getting picky. Once she starts to fade, it is time to drop the grow nutes and go into full bloom early in week 4. This cultivar shows more phenotypical expressions depending on climate and flush. She shows huge purple hues in flush. Allowing her to go into week 9 to 11 can result in almost purple buds. She has a nice term profile in flower and once in the jars. Sweet candy grape 🍇 purple punch notes on the nose and on the pallette when exhaling on the smoke. When trimming this girl she was. Breeze to trim. She got a good 8 to 9 days to dry and was then sweat in the jars. When you smoke Ethos purple sunset the indica really hits you like a train. Taking her down at day 52 was a good choice. The high feels like any of the high once u smoke it. You don't start to notice the stoned effects until you're halfway through a big bowl with your partner. As you guys finish, you notice the body stone take in effect as well the heavy chest and trachea feeling which I LOVE. A sense of happiness and relaxation set in almost immediately. Very enjoyable indica high with great terps. I would give it a 10 but that maybe next run once grow her to week 10 flower. Overall Ethos purple sunset delivers. Unfortunately I do not yet know what I did wrong with the grow. The plants had difficulties in the vegetation phase and hardly formed side branches and leaves, which is why the yield was so low ... Nevertheless, the smell and taste of the buds is very tasty. Certainly a very good strain but I could never exploit its full potential ...

24.10.25 When I look at the leaves I see them yellowing and fading which I thought was natural, however I think it is too early in the plants life cycle to be doing that. From my research online, it looks to me to be nutrient burn. At 1st I was thinking light burn. I'm a relatively new grower so if anyone has any ideas let me know. Thanks. Reservoir change out today. I also reduced feeding by half recommended amount.

F54 15/02/2023 the smell... She may be ugly, out of shape and with a terrible nutrition, but the smell is incredible, like a fruit soda, never smelled something like that. Maybe. 1 more week... Maybe not, will check trichomes in a few days

I apologise for the late updates, what you see on the photograph is what i found growing after my 5 day Christmas absence. i actually took the photographs on the day of my 41 birthday. During this time the four plants drank a lot of water that nobody was refilling, normally it was ok, this time though when i came beck the ph was at 5.6 after i replenished the missing water it jumpted to only 5.8. It happened first time to me so i thought "give it a couple of days girls will drink and the replenished fresh water with PH of 7.4 will up my reservoir", Unfortunately it was a bad choice, plants started to drink less and less every passing day, so at this week end started adding PH+ (first time since a long time, my PH+ bottle was bought in 2015 ;) During the week only added PH+ and PK 13-14. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The SE 7000 is hanged at 40 cm. over the canopy and runs at 550W. Week 5 already of Guava. She finally reached a good size and the first pistils started to show. Very excited about her stretching and the growth in the next weeks. Had some aphids this week, but spotted them early and could just remove them (about five or six only). So far no new are visible, but will watch closely.

Week to of flower ad she already smells like a bouquet of flowers...Perfect time to pollinate her with the male skunk polle

at last we are in harvest week. im happy at all it was a good experience. my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are dense and frosty but very little in size! i had some mistakes and problems with this grow so i admit i wasted them . lesson from this grow : grow autos far from fems and always give them 20 hours or more light per day to get good weight in little time.

They seem to have packed on some decent size this week which I’m glad to see but the trichome production leaves a little to be desired. Some of the lower buds look more frosty than the top buds which seems weird to me but I don’t really know that much lol. My ph runoff has been a little low which I think has to do with the molasses I gave them which wasn’t blackstrap which I think raises ph. Anyways, next watering will be with about 7.0 until my runoff corrects, it could explain the yellowing leaves as well. But the runoff is 6.1-6.3 which shouldn’t be that big an issue so it could be something else but I’m so close to the end messing around too much is probably not the best thing to do. Hopefully my pictures and videos are a little better this week at least! Enjoy and hit me up in the comments if you have any tips!
