👑 Godfather OG – Pheno A Week 10 | The Queen Has No Patience for Empty Plates 😂👑🔥 Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! 💚🌱 And, well... I have to start this week's report with an apology. I did it again. 😂 Somehow, once again, the individual photographs of our Queen have disappeared into the mysterious photographic universe. I have absolutely no idea what I did. I'm starting to suspect that Godfather OG Pheno A has personally decided that she doesn't need individual portraits anymore. She's basically saying: "You already know who I am. Look at the whole room." 😂👑 And fortunately, we do have photographs of the entire room. She's right there. Growing. Developing. Doing her thing. And honestly? She's looking beautiful. So although I don't have the individual photo collection I wanted for this week's update, I certainly haven't lost sight of her. She's still one of the girls that immediately gets my attention when I walk into the 8×8. She's still demanding. She's still hungry. She's still a little angry with me from time to time. 😂 And she's still growing absolutely amazingly. So let's give this Queen the spotlight she deserves anyway. Because photographs or not... you can't really hide the Queen. 👑🌿🔥 🌱 Week 10 – Still Growing Her Own Way Godfather OG Pheno A continues to be one of those plants that makes me stop and look. She's tall. She's strong. She's demanding. And she has absolutely no interest in behaving like everybody else in the room. That's one of the things I've enjoyed most about watching her throughout this adventure. She's never really tried to make things easy for me. 😂👑 But at the same time... she keeps rewarding the attention. She's growing. She's developing. She's building flowers. She's consuming everything the environment gives her. And she's continuing to show us that very distinctive personality that we've been documenting from the beginning. The Queen may be demanding... but she's productive. And that's a pretty good combination. 👑 Still Demanding – Still Hungry Let's talk about the elephant in the room. This girl eats. 😂🍽️🌿 She's one of those phenotypes where I look at what we're providing and think: "Okay... that's gone already?" She's hungry. She's using the resources available to her. She's growing strongly. And she continues to give me the impression that, if given the opportunity, she'd happily sit down at the table and finish everybody else's dinner too. 😂 This is one of the things that makes her interesting in a room containing so many different genetics. We're not running twelve completely different feeding programmes. We're giving the room a consistent foundation and observing how each plant responds. And Godfather OG Pheno A is making her response very clear: "I can use more." That's useful information. I'm watching her closely, because there's a difference between a plant that is genuinely demanding and one that is simply showing a slightly different expression. With this girl, the appetite has been remarkably consistent. And yet... she keeps growing beautifully. So the Queen remains on the watch list. 👀👑 🌿 The Anger Is Part of the Personality 😂 She's still a little angry. I'm not even going to argue with her anymore. 😂 Some plants politely ask. Some plants quietly suggest. Godfather OG Pheno A seems to send official royal correspondence. "I require more." 😂👑📜 But underneath the drama, what matters is that she's continuing to develop extremely well. She's not sitting there stalled. She's not giving up. She's not stopping. She's actively building. And that's why I continue to find her so fascinating. She can challenge me while simultaneously showing me that she's perfectly capable of turning that environment into growth. That's a phenotype worth paying attention to. 🌸 The Flowers Keep Moving Forward And even without her individual close-up photographs this week, the wider room images still give us something important. She's flowering beautifully. The structures continue developing. The flowers are becoming more established. And the plant is moving deeper into the stage where all that earlier structural growth starts paying off. This is where I really enjoy looking back through the diary. Because the plant we saw earlier in the run isn't the same plant we're looking at now. The framework is already there. The branches are established. The flowering sites have developed. And now we're watching those sites become increasingly meaningful flowers. She's doing exactly what I want to see from her. Not necessarily behaving perfectly... but developing beautifully. And honestly? I'll take that every time. 💡 The Queen Is Catching Photons And once again, we have to talk about photons. Because this week, more than ever, I find myself thinking about the relationship between this girl's appetite and the amount of light she's receiving. Every second that the lights are running, photons are moving through the canopy. We can't see them. But the plant can use them. Leaves intercept that light. Photosynthetic machinery converts that captured energy into chemical energy. And that energy supports the enormous collection of processes happening inside the plant. Growth. Maintenance. Water movement. Development. Flower formation. Everything is connected. And Godfather OG Pheno A appears to be making a serious effort to capture as many of those photons as possible. ☀️💡🌿 She's got a large structure. She's got plenty of foliage. She's got flowers distributed through that structure. And she's hungry for resources. So when I look at her, I don't just see a tall flowering plant. I see a three-dimensional photon-capturing machine. And she's working. ☀️ More Than Just Light From Above The lighting philosophy in this room is also about more than simply throwing photons at the top of the canopy. The main Black Series LEDs provide the primary illumination. Then we have additional lighting helping reach areas deeper inside the plants and lower down in the canopy. That matters because a plant like Godfather OG Pheno A isn't a perfectly flat surface. She's tall. She's layered. She's got branches occupying different heights. She's got flowers positioned at different angles. So the photons entering the room encounter a complex three-dimensional structure. Some are intercepted immediately. Others travel deeper. Some reach lower areas. Some are absorbed by leaves. Some pass through gaps. And that's part of what makes the lighting environment so interesting in this project. We're not just lighting a canopy. We're illuminating a jungle. 😂🌿💡 💡 Photons + Plant Architecture This is also where genetics become fascinating. Two plants can receive essentially the same lighting environment... and use it completely differently. A compact phenotype creates one type of canopy. A tall phenotype creates another. An open plant allows photons to travel differently from a dense one. And Godfather OG Pheno A has built herself a very particular architecture. She's tall. She's substantial. She's got plenty happening throughout the vertical space. And she's clearly making use of it. That's why I don't want to look at the lighting only as a number. I want to look at the relationship between: 💡 Light 🌿 Architecture 🍃 Leaf area 🌸 Flower distribution 💨 Air movement 🌡️ Environment ⚗️ Nutrition All of these things interact. And this Queen is giving us a particularly interesting example of what happens when a hungry phenotype gets access to a stable environment and plenty of photons. 🌸 She's Turning Light Into Something Beautiful And that's ultimately what we're watching. The photons themselves aren't the interesting part. The interesting part is what the plant does with them. We see the result in the leaves. We see it in the growth. We see it in the developing flowers. We see it in the overall structure. The invisible becomes visible. And when I walk into the room and see Godfather OG Pheno A continuing to develop, that's what I think about. All that light. All that captured energy. All those resources. Being turned into a living, flowering plant. That's pretty damn cool. 💡🌿👑 🌿 Still the Queen of Her Own Space She's also maintaining that unmistakable presence she's had throughout the grow. At around 169 cm, she's one of the taller girls in the room. And she uses that height. She doesn't just occupy vertical space. She fills it. The structure gives her plenty of places to develop flowers, while her foliage continues supporting the plant. She's not trying to be compact. She's not trying to imitate another phenotype. She's simply being Godfather OG Pheno A. And that's exactly what I want from this experiment. I don't want twelve identical plants. I want twelve stories. And this Queen has certainly given us one. 💨 Keeping the Environment Working With Her As the flowers continue developing, maintaining the relationship between the canopy and the environment becomes increasingly important. A large plant creates its own little weather system inside the canopy. Leaves transpire. Air moves. Humidity changes locally. Temperature interacts with the surrounding environment. And all of those factors matter more as flowering structures become larger. So the objective remains the same: keep the room stable and allow the plant to work. Good air movement. Consistent environmental conditions. Appropriate light. Stable root-zone conditions. And observation. We're not trying to micromanage every leaf. We're trying to maintain a system where the plant can do what it has clearly decided to do. Grow. Flower. Eat. And apparently complain. 😂👑 ⚗️ Feeding – The Queen Still Wants Seconds The shared nutrition strategy remains: 🌱 Plagron Terra Bloom – 2.2 ml/L 🌱 Green Sensation – 1 ml/L 🌱 Power Buds – 1 ml/L 🌱 Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L ⚗️ pH adjustment as required Current room values remain around: pH ~6.0 EC ~2.0 mS/cm And once again, Godfather OG Pheno A is making it clear that she's one of the hungrier phenotypes in the room. I'm not going to turn that observation into an automatic recipe change. The plant gets watched as a whole. Her growth. Her flowers. Her foliage. Her overall progression. Her response over time. But yes... if plants could talk, I have a feeling this one would be asking for a larger menu. 😂🍽️👑 🌡️ The Room Remains Her Foundation The environment continues to sit around: 🌡️ Day temperature: ~29.9°C 🌙 Night temperature: ~25°C 💧 RH: ~60% ⚗️ pH: ~6.0 ⚡ EC: ~2.0 mS/cm 💦 Solution temperature: ~25°C 🌱 Substrate temperature: ~26°C 💨 CO₂: ~639 ppm 💡 Light schedule: 12/12 ? Pot: 15 L 💧 Watering: ~1.4 L/plant/24h And once again, the numbers are only part of the story. The real story is the response. And her response is: I'm growing. That's what I want to hear. 📸 Yes... I Lost Her Photos Again. 😂 Okay. Let's address this properly. I'm sorry. 😂📸👑 Somehow, the individual photographs of Godfather OG Pheno A from last week and this week seem to have ended up together, somewhere, in some folder that apparently exists in another dimension. I have photographs of the other girls. Plenty of them. The whole room is documented. She's visible in those wider photographs. But her dedicated individual photographs? Gone. Again. I genuinely have no idea how I managed this twice. So to everybody following her diary: my true apologies. 💚 I know the individual photographs are an important part of these weekly updates, especially when we're documenting a phenotype separately. And I promise: Next week, the Queen gets her portrait session. No excuses. No mysterious folders. No photographic disappearances. 😂📸👑 I'm putting her back on the priority list. 🌿 But Look at Her in the Jungle The good news is that the wider room photographs still show something important. She's there. She's growing. She's developing. And she's looking beautiful. Sometimes seeing the plant within the whole ecosystem actually tells us something that a close-up can't. You see her relationship with the surrounding plants. You see the scale. You see the canopy. You see where she sits inside the room. And you can appreciate how much structure she's built. So while I'm definitely disappointed that I don't have her individual photographs... I'm not disappointed with the plant. Not even remotely. She's doing fantastic. 🔬 Another Week of Phenotype Hunting This is another week where Godfather OG Pheno A reminds me why this project exists. We're not trying to make every plant behave identically. We're watching how they respond to a shared foundation. And this girl has given us a very clear identity. She's: 👑 Tall 🍽️ Hungry 🌿 Vigorous 🌸 Productive 💡 Light-hungry 😂 Demanding 🔥 Beautiful And somehow... she continues to make me smile every time I check on her. Even when she's angry. Especially when she's angry. 😂👑 Because the challenge is part of the personality. 🔮 Where Does the Queen Go From Here? That's the question now. She's already established herself. She's already shown us her appetite. She's already shown us her structure. She's already shown us that she's capable of developing beautiful flowers. Now I want to see what happens as those flowers continue to mature. How much more will they develop? How will her aroma progress? How will her resin expression develop? How will the overall plant finish? And perhaps most importantly... how much more food is this woman going to ask for? 😂🍽️ I honestly don't know. And I'm perfectly happy with that. We'll watch. We'll document. We'll adapt when necessary. And we'll let her tell us. 💭 Final Thoughts – The Queen Doesn't Need a Portrait to Rule So... Week 10. No individual photographs. Again. I'm sorry. 😂💚 But the Queen is still here. She's still standing tall. She's still demanding. She's still hungry. She's still capturing photons. She's still developing flowers. And she's still looking absolutely beautiful. The wider photographs show her within the jungle. The environment is stable. The lighting is doing its job. The photons keep flying. And this girl keeps catching as many as she possibly can. She's eating everything she can. She's growing everything she can. She's taking the environment we've given her and turning it into her own expression. And honestly? I couldn't ask for a more interesting phenotype to follow. She doesn't make things boring. 😂👑 So this week, even without the individual portraits... the spotlight remains firmly on her. Because she deserves it. And next week? I promise. Portraits. The Queen is getting her photographs back. 📸👑😂 🙏 Thank You As always, thank you so much to everyone following the 8×8 Adventure. 💚🌱 Thank you to GrowDiaries for giving us the space to document these individual journeys and share the experience with growers around the world. Thank you to Zamnesia for the Godfather OG genetics and for giving us the opportunity to discover what these different phenotypes can become. Thank you to Plagron for the growing media and nutrition supporting the room. Thank you to Future of Grow LED for powering this jungle and keeping those photons flying. 💡☀️🌿 Thank you to LumiFlora for helping bring additional light into the inner and lower areas of the canopy. Thank you to TrolMaster for helping us keep the environment under control behind the scenes. And finally... thank you to everyone following along. Every comment. Every question. Every message. Every person stopping by to see what the girls are doing. It genuinely means a lot. This adventure continues to be one of the most enjoyable learning experiences I've had. Twelve different genetic stories. One shared environment. One jungle. And so many personalities. And Godfather OG Pheno A? She's still one of the loudest characters in the room. She may be angry. She may be demanding. She may eat everything in sight. She may have fired her photographer two weeks in a row. 😂📸 But she's also growing beautifully. She's developing beautiful flowers. She's catching photons. She's using the environment. And she's becoming more and more herself every week. So let's give the Queen her spotlight. Let's let her shine. Let's keep those photons flying. And let's see where this hungry, demanding, beautiful girl takes us next. 👑🌿💡🌸🔥 Growers Love, my friends. 💚🌱 And I promise... next week, the Queen gets her damn photographs. 😂📸👑

We have now reached the first day of August and it is time to make new crops. The Zkittlez that has completed its vital coclo under the LED lamp has become a fantastic plant and will be collected tomorrow along with the Purple Glam Kush. In the last few days I have received my new Focus V Carta concentrator vaporizer and I really recommend it to anyone who loves to concentrate. I'm using it for my BHO and Rosin and it's really cool. I also recently discovered how to dissolve my concentrates to create e-liquids from smoking with electronic cigarettes and I will soon make a video about it. Meanwhile I made a second video that you can see on my DHO extraction method using only freshly picked buds. As you can see from the images all the plants are in good health and the queen of my garden is currently the LSD-25 of FastBuds. A beautiful, very fragrant and very productive plant that certainly becomes part of the varieties that I will continue to grow every month. Even the plant that has just begun to bloom shows all its purple shades. If the effect once smoked is as reported in the producers' description (it should have psychedelic properties) it will surely become my favorite strain for this year 😋 August 4 Nice Updates: I'm really studying a lot these days and I'm improving my skills in creating concentrates. In the coming weeks I will also show you my attempt to decompose and reassemble cannabis at will. I will use my DHO for THC, derivatives and terpenes, buy a ready-made wax containing 70% CBD and isolated crystals of CBD at 99.9% and additional extracts of marijuana terpens for flavor. Everything will be dissolved with a few drops of a PEG solution similar to products like Wax Liquidizer or the Shatter Batter you have in the USA, but as I wrote I will show you in the coming weeks. As far as my girls are concerned, in the last few days I have collected the Purple Glam Kush and the beautiful Zkittlez that bloomed under the LED lamp. I also posted new images of the beautiful LSD-25. Since I decided to create new concentrates at each harvest I will divide the buds into three categories. I will smoke the medium and large buds and I will use the smaller ones and the first quality scraps to make my concentrates. With all the other scraps I will instead make hashish with the ice-olator method. I take this opportunity to wish you all happy summer holidays! 😎 August 7: I was uploading the results images when I realized something must have gone wrong when I uploaded my last video and it was still in conversion, I reupladed it. Results: with about 40 grams of top quality scraps I obtained 4.5 grams of DHO and with second quality scraps mixed with 17.5 grams of cleaned hashish I got 7.1 grams of DHO. We both lack small amounts that I have smoked these days, say about half a gram of one and a half gram of the other. Despite having used different materials both have similar color and texture. The taste of hashish feels very little and gives a note of freshness to the concentrate. Obviously both have a very powerful effect. As for the plants collected, I obtained 122 grams from the Purple Glam Kush and 157 from the Zkittlez 😉

These photos were taking yesterday and I meant to post than but here we are. They seem to be doing well, growth seems to be picking up a bit but I've noticed slight burns and I think I just started nutrients a little bit too early. A new addition to the tent is a 4th seed I planted today, I'm goign to breed the best female and male, hopefully I get two females and one male but well see.

Hello fellow growers, This will be last week of feeding for these plants, I've been checking theirs trichomes for some days and and I will start a 2 week-long flush to make that good white ash when I'll smoke it 😋 I wish I could take some good photos of trichomes to show you here, but my mini microscope doesn't attach to my phone's camera unfortunately. Except for some problems due to my old ph meter this run went pretty smooth so far, and I'm pretty happy with it. I can't wait to see how it will taste like, because the sweet smell is insanely good :) Untill next week ✌️ Felix

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Day 7 of Veg: They have not stretched that much this week because there was not much sun, colder temperatures at night. Hopefully they invested their energy in rooting. I do expect them to grow alot in the comming week. Might LST them or even HST, not sure yet.

This week I decided it was time to employ some LST. Really I should have just done LST and not topped them, aside from the largest one which responded well. They weren't putting out fast enough growth to take to topping well, and I've learned my lesson. That's why my autos haven't done so well in the past. I'm still learning😬 So in order to get as much as I can out of them as we enter flowering, we're doing a little LST this week. Earlier in the week I did have to bring them in the hoop house on 7/11 because we got a lot of rain that day, our basement flooded and the water got so high in the stream that it washed the bridge out. So I think I made the right decision otherwise they may have gotten lockout. I also changed their feed a bit. I added in some Neptunes Harvest Fish Fertilzer 2-4-1 with the Alaska 5-1-1 in equal portions on the 13th and will continue with it tonight. I may add a little molasses as well. Most of what I was trying to accomplish with each plant is explained in the video. Enjoy!
