Week 5

Day 49 flowering: Hi all , I hope your all well and healthy. I think I have made a few miscalculation errors of flowering weeks here.lol I began timing their flowering period a little later than had been flowering I think. Seeing how advanced the #2 has been the entire grow followed very closely by the #1 , and adding the natural fading and leaves dying off that is very obvious too , these are very near their ripen time. looking back over the diary to when I began timing , the buds are fairly well in process so must have begun earlier but I missed the switch with the other seedling dramas I had going on at the time. oops. I am using the time line to keep the other Gorilla girl (#4) and the switch cheese at least on track timing wise ( sort of .lol) I expect the #2 girl will be ready within 2 weeks now but will show as an early harvest on the days. I have added the Shogun Dragon Force into their feed now for a week ( 2 more feeds at least) and then its a mild feeding of the Megacrop till finish. I do love their products and have been impressed by the dragon forces result on trichs. These Darker Gorilla (#2 +#4) girls are so trich laden already and very tacky to touch with a beautiful fruity smell pushing out too. The pictures just don't compare to the live and direct context with these buds but I tried to catch their best anyway. I haven't seen any pictures on sweets seeds grows of gorilla girls that are this dark purple at all and their examples are more akin to the #1 and #3 i have . I live them appearance of the dark phenos and a sure fire selling point for them ?. @sweetseeds ?. you seen these beautiful girls guys ?. With that said the younger ladies are also doing brilliantly with the #4 starting to swell and frost up similar to her older sister#2. Her structure was set slightly looser than the other 3 to see how it altered their bud production compared. She has wider node gaps that have their own clusters with them and she has grown taller from less ties obviously but , it also created a more airy frame for the density of the buds which is a bonus in a smaller environment. I don't feel as worried about bud rot with her as I do the other 3. I plan to brutal defol one of the next autos being run to see how this affects the final result. using the same strains should be a fair comparison. The Sweet cheese has also allowed me to satisfy my curiosity and try a natural untouched grow. She has some beautiful coloured on her tight single stemmed main and the side branching is attempting to keep up with the main but nowhere near as productive . while she is a capable height , i prefer the L.S.T for shape and working on so far. Being so hands off is a new one for me too.lol Her diesel smell is really evident now and even the lowers are getting a nice chalky appearance of trichs hiding the pink hues she has going on all over. Inhave enjoyed this grow with the sweet girls and only wish I hadn't lost so many of the other strains so early on. Buds are starting to thicken up. I changed my nutrients like mentioned in the last post. Maybe I will defoliate in a couple days but I always remove a couple leaves every 3 to 4 days. Let’s see. My only concern is that they look like they don’t fit into my tent if they thicken up too much. I mean it’s better to cut a few branches off than having too less.

have had some temperature problems with the change of the season but i think im dialed in now. this first run really has been trial and error. but so far the buds are swelling nicely. zkittles has more bud sites, and is taller and bushier. blue dream buds are already bigger than zkittles

SUMMARY: She's starting to take a little less now, down to about 1.6L per day now with her giving around 30% runoff. She smells really strong and her buds are fattening up. Sunday 14th March 18:30 I fed the NL 2.4L of late bloom nutes which produced 900ml runoff (38%). [26°C/48%] DAY 73 ----------- Monday 15th March 11:00 I made 5L of late bloom nutes with rainwater and molasses at a pH of 6.3. Monday 15th March 18:00 I fed the NL 2.2L of late bloom nutes which produced 840ml runoff (38%). [26°C/51%] DAY 74 ----------- Tuesday 16th March 18:00 I fed the NL 2L of late bloom nutes which produced 720ml runoff (36%). [26°C/51%] DAY 75 ----------- Wednesday 17th March 18:00 I made 15L of late bloom nutes with molasses and rainwater. 5L at 5.6, 5L at 5.8, and 5L at 6.0. I fed the NL 1.8L of late bloom nutes which produced 580ml runoff (32%). Watermelon 🍉 is maturing very well. Nice and dense, frosty buds! She's finished growing now, so concentrating next on just flower nutes. The plant is very small due to my terrible attempt at LST! 😅 27.2.25: Watermelon 🍉 and Purple Lemonade 💜🍋 are both far below the scrog net, they've definitely stopped stretching now. My LST on these was much worse than even just using the net. 😅 That was certainly a valuable takeaway. I'm sure Purple Lemonade 💜🍋 will be good. Watermelon 🍉 was so stunted. It's not a tall strain, usually either, but nevertheless, the buds there are looking very frosty and are very, very sticky! 😅 Should be a good smoke, eventually, 🤗 just won't be much to bag unfortunately.

It has been 6 weeks of flowering , this week specifically I have seen a lot of changes in the buds development. The ph and the ppm level of the reservoir is fluctuating very much. The PH drops to around 5.3 and PPM was reaching 1800 . The best way to solve this is probably to add plain water into the reservoir to balance the PH and the PPM level. This lady sure loves to produce sugar leaves , i defoliate loads of leaves but the leafs doesn't seem to stop growing out from the buds. I decreased the amount of light per day , I am giving her 11.30 hours of light instead of 12 hrs . I checked light leaks again but still pretty sure that it is not the problem here . The nutes supplier told me to increase the ratio of Superbud blue bud and superbud orange bud so that it can enhance the bud development . This week i got some new nutes from my bro "Master Mine" which i will try out on my next run . PS . Sorry for the high light exposure in the video , i was playing around with my new DJI osmo pocket . Any ideas on how long she's going to take until she's done?

02/08/25: We are entering the last few weeks of flowering and the smell is getting really intense from these two ladies! The Indica leaning Pheno gives a strong spicy/earthy aroma while the sativa Plant has a more subtle but super sweet fruity smell to it. So far i am really pleased with what I am seeing here, just need a few weeks more patience! 🤞🏼

Day 1 It seems like she's a little slow but the smell finally starts to come. No big changes for the rest. I'll probably need to feed her tomorrow. I dropped the temps a little bit. No other changes so far. Day 2 Feeding time! Up with the nutes to 75%... Only the Boost is at 100%. Changed the values above as well :) Day 7 Feeding time. Nutes were at 85%. Boost is at 100%. Week 9 commence flushing. This lady is looking great, super frosty, sticky and got a sweet aroma. Removed some dying leaves and now we wait for chop in about 6-7 days.

British Delight - Wizard Trees Day 63 - Watered with 3L of RO tap water with nutrients, mixed individually, in order and then pH'd to 6.3! She has pretty much finished her stretch and is now focusing on developing her bud sites! She very very bushy and with big heavy fan leaves, so she'll require a good amount of defoliation later in the week, but for now I wanted to give her a couple of days to rest because she has only just finished the stretching phase... I'll update this week to show the progress she's made, but for now, I'm just going to let her be 🙏
