This week was officially the start of the grow season. 6 fem seeds were popped using the paper towel and ziplock method. Stepdad said to hang them on the wall and the tap roots would grow straight down, and they did. Planted after 72 hours germ, 100% popped. Blackhack had a 1" root. Seeds were planted into soiless mix in solo cups with drainage holes. Lights arrived this week from CHYYYYYNA. Two 240w lm301h quantum boards will light up these 6 girls. Im hoping to steal a bit of extra light from the 4x8 beside me Just waiting now

June 29: looking good at the start of a new week. Hot again and risk of thunderstorms so the plants are up against the house tonight. Plant has reached lowest of three rungs on the tomato cage and I’m trying to get a few colas to go around on the outside. July 1: Happy Canada Day. Warm again today with a risk of thunderstorms. July 2: cool today (about 12 C high) so watered with 27 C water in morning to help keep things growing. Also topped fourth time to make the 16 cola manifold. This is the best way to shape photoperiod plants…all the work is up front and it produces nice uniform buds that are easy to process during harvest. Two stems on the piece that broke are healthy but smaller than the others. Should even out with time. Watered with full nutrient mix. July 5: looks good. I was gone for a couple of days after the last round of topping and just noticed today that I had done seven and had missed one which has now been dealt with.

Well this little tester has out grown her sisters by quite alot in its development , she is much larger and bigger leaves than the others and looks like she is really reaching for the stars and has had nothing more than fresh water until this week

5/28 I think she's about to go off. 6/2 she's been droopy leafed for a bit. I backed off on nutrients for over a week. I thought it may have been overwatering but at the same time I don't want to kill off the microbe life in my soil right now by letting it get overly dry. I'm more experienced with coco and the dry back is more aggressive and intense and with soil it's a little different and slower but it als9 cant dry back as

my first time growing with Coco. For the last 20 years I always grow with soil. I am I am must admit with the and Coco coir the plants looking great

Here we are again, after hot summer ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic and now we present them to you. The first lady we present to you is the Blue Cheese F1 Auto, I asked the Zamnesia elves to send me these seeds because I loved this strain so much in the past. I remember well when it came out on a trip to Amsterdam we went crazy. And I remember well when a dear friend of mine used it with phenomenal results. This strain has a background in me. Great fruity flavors very intense I remember. Let's see what comes out. To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of right advisors, I chose to divide it into phases so whoever wants can follow them and understand better step by step. Preparation Phase Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination. Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases). Phase 1 - Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the soil 90% normally. Phase 2 - Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper in water, no. Phase 3 - In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose those with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems. Phase 4 - The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. Transplanted everything a few days after the last diary into 5 gallon air pots. Started a cover crop and added some mulch after everything sprouted. Began training week 4. I’m intending on keeping 4 max inside the tent. Will be Peanut butter breath, Dragons Blood Hashplant, Afghani, and Velvet Krush. Other 4 x2 pbb 1xDBHP and one unknown bag seed will be going outdoors soon.

Packing up a bit now. Colours are amazing, really deep purple nearly both black leaves and bright red calyx's. Absolutely stinks too, like a really pungent nose burning smell haha almost unpleasant, fruitiness is there and it's like a berry and liquorice maybe, it's really strange . A few Amber trichomes are forming but very few. Going to check back next week and see how far off before I start flushing.
