Planted a week after Gelly Mama

Plants have been growing pretty well. Been going full strength Bloom Khaos foliar with no problems. Defoliated and will be flipping soon. Waiting for them to bush out a bit more and for the stalks to get nice and thicc....

This week was much more exciting due to much more knowledge gathered about what it is I have do. First big issue was that my ph levels were off (about 7) got my ph meter. Calibrated and now can di a proper 6.2. Plants responded right away. Started feeding once per day : - 2ml cal max - 2ml grow - 2ml micro - 1ml bloom These are from Terra Aquatica At the end of the week started to add liquid worm castings as well Found out that my coco is not properly buffered. Since it came in bricks and I added only water, so will add 4ml calmag. The runoff is steady for about 10-20%, except for one plant where its almost 50%. But as plant is the strongest it does not bother me right now. Made some major upgrades to my DIY grow tent and now it’s more comfortable and less stress to plants. And my second light came in so things look pretty good. Unfortently I accidently damaged one of my plants. But as it was the smallest one it didnt looked like it will make it anyway. So will have the opportunity to properly germinate and seed the new one.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. As flores começaram a engordar bem mais rápido agora. Dá para perceber no decorrer da semana o aumento no volume dos buds. Devido ao peso eles estão pendendo para os lados. Tenho que colocar arames para mantê-las na vertical. Isso também melhoraria o espaçamento dos buds.

Everything going really well with my girls except for kickass auto

Hello everyone hope you staying cool Cause the weather is over 100 degree and everything is drying and dying. We really need some rain! Anyone with the heat wave I trying keep this gals water up. The biggest one drink water like no tomorrow, well both of them. I give them a tea liquid compost 3.11.11 of organic fertilizers. Just to keep up with the flowering stages she using up a lot nutritions and I’m glad that I was on top of my game with these outdoors grow. Not bad for novice first timer. My family love them. I’m keep in the sun as thst will help with resins production and the bees are doing a fine job pollen them.

this week is a bit frustrating im having some small issue with root rot im off to the store to buy some drip clean from house and garden and ill be doing a water change today i will also topped them after fourth set of leaves day 7 system flush and cleaned. adjusted ppm to 750 i will be using sterile rez from now on as i dont want to battle with pythium. added drip clean and peroxide 30% as suggested by my local hydro store now water looks pristine onto week 5 tomorow.

This week was absolutely torturous had an accident in which one of my plants was damaged fortunately I do not believe that all is lost I will just have to hold her back on sending her into flour with the rest until she is completely healthy I have sent one into flower a bit early just to see if I could and seems to be working swimmingly

Yes it's a very confusing diary, spent to long in Cloner, no where to put her , moved to veg tent in small pot & neglected, hand watered when I remembered.her & another clone brought back from the brink of death & put into DWC , around 9 weeks old but looked about 3 weeks. HST trained them for about 5 to 6 weeks in veg, moved to flowering tent, were 5 weeks into flower & both got root rot.The 2nd plant died saved this 1 by cutting away majority of roots. No point continuing to flower her as she would have greatly been affected, so put her back into veg, transplanted into recirculating hydro & been reveging for 7 weeks 46 days. Started getting new vegative growth over the last month.looking healthy & lush now, planned to put her back into flower with the new plants when they are ready to flower, hopefully she will be worth the effort & time when it comes to harvest, sh is around 24 weeks old!!!

-I moved the tent next to my heater because temps were dropping and humidity went above 65% at night -removed the scrog net for convenience -besides that not much happened sorry for the few photos. Next week will be more detailed

Had some crazy root growth this week and have put the girls in their final 11L pots already. They became rootbound in their last pots within 5 days of being potted up and started showing rootbound behaviour such as spots on leaves and droopy behaviour, also soil was drying out super fast. At first I was panicking about leaf septoria, had that before :/. Only when i checked the roots that I confirmed it was cos they were rootbound. I'm hoping this isn't an issue within the grow bags. I've never really played around with potting up before as mainly grown autos until now. Topped the girls a few days ago and have done some LST today to spread them ready for the scrog. Always R.O Water Watering the plant 3 times for per week 1st Watering with nutriens. (750 ppm) (06.03.2023) 4 liter 2st Watering with nutriens. (750 ppm) (08.03.2023) 4 liter 3st Watering with only R.O water & CalMag. (300 ppm) (10.03.2023) 4 liter this time is preflowering. -Day48 Finally I did some lollipopping and LST. I reduced the ones that can't go up from the below a little bit. And I did empty watering R.O water and CaMg+ Total 300 ppm pH 6.2. Light 700 PPFD. it will be in full bloom next week💪
