📆 Semana 5 ¡Seguimos avanzando a buen ritmo! Esta semana la Gorilla Cookies ha pegado un estirón final y ha empezado a centrarse en formar bien los cogollos. Se nota que está en plena producción de resina: los tricomas empiezan a cubrir hojas y flores, dándole ya ese brillo tan característico que promete mucho. He ajustado ligeramente el riego para adaptarlo a su demanda actual, y he seguido con la nutrición de floración, manteniendo los niveles de PK para potenciar la formación de cogollos sin forzar. También he estado muy pendiente del ambiente: temperaturas entre 22-26°C y humedad controlada alrededor del 45-50% para evitar riesgos de hongos. A nivel visual, las flores están empezando a compactarse y soltar esos primeros aromas dulces y terrosos tan típicos de la Gorilla Cookies. Todavía no he visto ámbar en los tricomas, así que seguimos en fase de engorde. Estoy muy contento con cómo va, ¡esta genética tiene pintaza! ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

Sweet mother of god! What a beautiful plant! Now I finally know what it means to grow US genetics. Sherbinskis in collab with Sensi Seeds has made some uniquely beautiful plant. She's dark, almost black, she's extremely good looking, and frankly I didn't expect the plant to look as good as the advertisement photographs but here she is! As beautiful as it can get! I've pushed my photography skills again and god damn, it was worth it. I don't know if any other plant has been this photogenic! The yield is great, as expected from a extra longer veg period. The smell is off the hooks! Please, have a closer look at all the photographs, there are soooooo many gems that should be able to win dozens of contest IN MY OPINION XD PS: Hopefully I'll grab your attention with these bomb ass macro shots!!!!! Week 3 update and all systems go for launch. We’re flipping to flower exactly 21 days from seed and so far, the mix looks to be impressive. Counting about 4 males (one that won’t make the cut), 2 indica leaning phenos and the rest are sativa leaning. Side branching has also been impressive so we should be able to pull some rootable cuts within the next week or two. If we got the sexes right (it is a little early to be certain), then the dutchy cabinet will be full up for bud testing👍. Next week will tell the tale🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Week 4 transplanting 2 today

11/27: harvest day. Well, i have chopped them all down. I trimmed all the bud and put it in seal bags in the freezer. No drying - fresh frozen. Sometime in the next few days i will turn it all into bubble hash. If i had gotten the buds that i wanted I would have dried and cured much of this. But as this is just a typical looking and smelling lemon strain, it all went in the freezer. If not for all of their expectations set by FastBuds, i would likely have loved at least one of the plants. The one labeled PL1 was a monster. It produced over 27oz of trimmed wet bud. The hat is more than the other 3 plants combined. With a total of 53 Oz of trimmed wet bud harvested and frozen. The one that i labeled PL4 was insanely frosty when compared to the other 3 phenos. I have clones of bother PL1 and PL4 that i may consider using for breeding projects where i want a strong lemon. The other two plants were mostly forgettable.

The trichomes are 70% milky, 20% amber and 10% clear. The nutrients have been used up and the lady is allowed to stay a few days before she comes into the darkroom for 48 hours before the harvest. Of course there is an extra update for this :-). Otherwise the week was poured 3 times with 1.2 l. The tent was cleaned and all women checked. -7/6/23 harvested today, cutting the week short so Ican try some of the buds before the @Fast_Buds Fast Flower competition ends. smells like lemons and has a sweet earthy scent, hoping that the lemon stays the dominant scent.
