Ran into a a light stress issue but all is under control now

I had fun with this barneys gorilla zkittlez, although it seems like it was ready around 7 weeks, its as if the plant has been in the early stages of self seeding when I've harvested on day 54~ of flower.. Can't think any other reason why this would've happened Anyway overall the bud is 95% amazing, just a slight sadness at the miniscule seeds forming close to the stems in the centre of some buds that takes away from the taste a little

3/11/2023 Week 4- Day 1 of Veg (Day 38 overall)| As a precaution I changed out the water in the system today at the 1 week mark to try and make sure I am giving the most to the roots to ensure a healthy successful grow. PPFD = 351 Tent Conditions when I opened the tent I was at 59% humidity however I had the doors open for an hour while I changed the water out and re-mixed Nutes so it was at 48 when I closed the doors but I have a Firebird controller which is set for 60 to bring it back up. Water Temp on Change out = 69.4 PPM= 514 PH= 5.93 3/12/2023 Week 4- Day 2 of Veg (Day 39 overall) Everything is going good so I decided to de-foliate some. 3/13/2023 Week 4- Day 3 of Veg (Day 40 overall) Humidity at 61% Tent Temp at 78 Water Temp at 75.3 PPM=574 PH 5.89 Happy, Happy... I topped 2 nodes on Plant #3 and 1 Node on Plant #2. Everything looks dialed in (Finally). I will be changing out the water this weekend and as long as everything looks good I will go back to only changing out the water once every two weeks. 3/14/2023 Week 4- Day 4 of Veg (Day 41 overall) Not much to report.. I defoliated a little bit today and took a couple tops off each. 3/15/2023 Week 4- Day 5 of Veg (Day 42 overall) Nothing to much to report. Took a few leaves today and a couple of Nodes topped on each of the plants. Everything seems to be dialed in for now. 3/16/2023 Week 4- Day 6 of Veg (Day 43 overall) Took a few leaves today and a couple of Nodes topped on each of the plants. 3/17/2023 Week 4- Day 7 of Veg (Day 44 overall) Last Day of Week 4. Water change tomorrow and it looks like I will be back to only having to chance the water every 2 weeks. After 4 days of heavy rain, the first mold appeared... So I spent about 18 hours searching for plants and picking out mold with tweezers After last year's experience with another seed bank, I expected the plants to be very affected by mold, but I have to say that Fast Buds genetics coped very well! Mold appear mainly on blisters to which the stem of the leaf leads water, which then collects between the stem and the blister I trimmed the plants more so that the air flows better and that water does not stick to them The plants look healthy and the flowers are gaining strength Especially the dark purple phenotypes look very dense and hard. it also looks very resistant to mold Very pleasant sweet fruity scent I haven't seen my children for 3 days, it's raining extremely ... the last time I was chased out by swarms of ants in the early evening, I've never experienced this before, there were maybe a million of them and they sat on me and on the plants I'm finally going to visit them tomorrow, I expect I'll have a lot of work to do with mold and I hope the swarms of ants haven't harmed them in any way

Patience is in fact a virtue. I tought she was near, but to my surprise, she had a growth explosion, a lot of new calyxes! I'll wait another week, keeping a close eye.

Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦 It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Things are moving along nicely and they are strong bushy plants.I did some defoliation and tied down some branches on one of the three ladies.So far so good I’ll clean up the bottoms soon and possibly add a scrog net.

🌿 Woche 8 - Erste Erntewoche - So Jung und doch so Reif ️🌿 🌱 Wachstum Man sieht mittlerweile deutlich, dass die "kleinere" Pflanze es sehr eilig hat. 🏃‍♀️💨 Die Dominante Dame, lässt sich dagegen etwas mehr Zeit für ihre Buds. ⏳🌸 Aber für beide Damen gilt: Für ihre 8–9 Wochen ist das beachtlich. 🌟 Rückblickend hätte ich vllt etwas mehr Lollypopping machen sollen. Beim Ernten, kamen ein Paar Triebe zum vorschein, die sich nicht so gut entwicken konnten. Fastbuds typisch, sind viele Quallitativ geile Buds dabei. Ich freue mich schon aufs Naschen 😋 Aber jetzt wo ich die Erste Lady geerntet hab, hab ich gemerkt das 100g vllt etwas hochgestapelt war. 😬 Ich hoffe das ich wenigstens noch die 80g irgendwie knacke. 😹 🌱 Living Soil Was man auch sieht, sind Mängel. 😰 Es könnte an den 2 Pflanzen im selben Topf liegen. Grade bei so schnell wachsenden Auto´s könnte die Nährstoff Verteilung gestört gewesen sein. 😵 Es könnte aber auch sein, dass die Erde wegen der Doppelbepflanzen schon sehr ausgelaugt war. 12/30/23 - Day 54 - Hello All! I started this week a day early. I wanted to update everyone on something I have been thinking about a lot. Curing. I feel if there was a hole in my growing skills it would be curing. Last grow there was more than I had anticipated. I was not set up for curing 1 lb. I threw in an audible at the last minute. It worked out but I know I can improve with some trial and error and hands-on experience. So after reading a ton, and going off of some of my prior builds for drying, I came up with this design. I have a controller that will turn the air on and will run when the contents inside the box hit whatever RH% I want to set it at. I think the first week I will set it for 78%RH, then every couple of days go down a % until I hit 62%. The thought is that if the bucket gets above the set RH% then the air will kick on and distribute air across the buds until the RH% is back down to where you want it. It will force the humidity out. I won't need to worry about burping. It will happen on its own.... in theory. Ill update tomorrow with some pictures after the water change. 12/31/23 - Day 55 - Everything is looking good. The water change completed this morning while I was in the shower. Its adding nutes now and will do so over the next hour or so. She is starting to get stinky. I had to add the extra carbon filter to the room. I've got some pics up top of that. Happy New Year! Next time I post it will be in 2024! Have a great night and be safe! I got a comment on the bushy-ness and I got self-conscious and gave her a trim. Lol I have been going bath and forth for a while and that gave me the push to give her a little trim. She looks great and is growing really quickly. Ill update with more pics as it goes along.
