Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. Week 7 for gelato 41, She's been topped a few more times now as you can see she's really pushing her size, I'm still stretching her out size ways. Nothing too crazy to report from here besides I've been giving her an extra 4/5h in sun light to start to harden her off a bit before moving her outside to her final pot (which may be end of this month but we'll see)

Day 84 - just fed with water today Day 85 - checked trichomes today. They looked mostly clear with about 2% amber so another week - 2 for SP and WC Day 86 - just full water and foliar today Day 87 - power block on one of my lights shorted. Apparently it’s an easy fix but the 6 plants will go another week or two with just the one light. Day 88 - placed both Strawberry Pie and Wedding Cheesecake into 48hours of darkness before chopping on Saturday. 90 days is an amazing time from seed to harvest Day 89 - lemon pie starting to fill out more but looks like it will need at least a week - 2 weeks still Day 90 - harvested SP and WC and hung in cupboard with fan for ventilation

The trichome formation is going fast now. The plants are becoming more and more forsty. Lets see where its ends :D

11/30-12/5: Major stretch from the Muscadine Wine's and one of the Sucrose Overdose. I supercropped and tied down the apex on the big SO and I'll probably have to supercrop both MW's before it's over. The Platonium and GG4 aren't stretching vertically nearly as quickly, but have massive leaves and huge diameters (problem children). Sugar Bref is a shorty, like the Berry Bomb, but both have very thick stalks and may, yet, do some stretching. Both MW's and the big SO not only have red stems, but they have red leaf veins and the outer edges of the fan leaves have a nice pale-green to red gradient coloration....swexy!😍

Sour diesel autoflower from SeedsMafia 🌱 Dropped the seed in the water on 20.08.2021, it was in water for ~24 hours, then transplanted it to damp paper towel and kept it in a dark space, wasn’t too warm in there though 😕 The seed popped in the next day, I kept the seed in the paper towel for ~48 hours and then planted it into the pot with the sprout headed down 👍🏼

It's seems that both will go full purple 😁 absolutely love it 😍 On Mar 17 Selective defoliation, training on branches and watering with bloom nutes. 7 ltrs beetwen both. Small runoffs with perfect 6.5 ph. Didn't notice any signs of stress. Girls bounced back within an hour. Second watering on Mar 21 7ltr beetwen both. Light dimmer at 65 watts. Humidity at 45% on avg when lights on and 50-55% when off. Really enjoyable grow this one. Almost no work around as no issues at all. 01/01/2022 Potting up and amending with 5-2-4 to give a little kick before mid flower #6 is first girl to show herself, also got two different males and only difference is that one is lighter green and other darker green (also dark green one seems to drink more than lighter green) 💚. Other than that structure is very similar I wonder which is a better breeding male? I guess I might pollinate and LABEL TWO BRANCHES ON each female one for each male. and find out.🙏🏻 01/06/2022 #3 showed today, reppoted and into flowering closet, along with#6,who showed earlier this week lights at 14-10 see how they respond to that schedule, which should help use up the 5-2-4 going into week 3 should help with her stretch. Which isn't really that much I believe maybe double her current height, which I will check at lights on.Week ,#3 if I think of it I'll give a good fungal dominant tea.

Day 78 Hey growmies, The girls received 2 liters of water with fertilizer and Cal-Mag today. Before that, I defoliated them for the last time – I hope it wasn’t too much, but I wanted to try a more radical approach to hopefully get an even better end result. Unfortunately, some of the Pink Gelato's leaves are showing clear signs of heat stress, but so far she’s still growing well. I hope the terpenes are okay. Day 79 The girls are doing well so far. Unfortunately, the tips of the Pink Gelato are a bit burned, and it's supposed to get even hotter in the next few days. I hope she survives the heat. The other two ladies don’t seem to mind it. The smell and the buds are getting bigger and bigger. The carbon filter is managing to neutralize the strong smell. Now we're heading into the final days of flowering

Estamos en la primera semana de vegetativo, ya que a la anterior se la conoce como semana de germinación. Las plantas empiezan a mostrar las primeras hojas reales por encima de los cotiledones. Cuidado con que la humedad relativa del aire, no sea demasiado baja, lo ideal sería alrededor de un 65%. En esta etapa solo regamos suavemente con agua cada 5 días aprox.

Both were growing like absolute champs! I decided to top really early. i follow basementganjas rules, i will only top autos if they grow like champs, trunksize 3mm, 99% healthy, sidenodes have substantial grow, and are between days 12-16. i topped these on day 12, mainly because at the rate they were growing, i feared they were to put too much time and energy into the top nodes i planned on removing. Also, it would be interesting to see how they handled it. AND BOY, handled it, they did! The 600 ml Dosage of water and nutes from Day 6 lasted all the way to Day 11. On Day 11, i added 1 ml/L of Bio Grow from Biobizz and watered both of them with 1 Liter of tapwater, ph'd down to between 6,2 - 6.3. As mentioned, even though the sidenodes were a tad small for my likings, they did not seem to care. see next week for the further progress!

Defoliation complete. These ladies got a little spank this morning. But they always respond well after. They are ready to Flower now. First long hours of lights off have commenced...I am counting up to 20 colas per plant on the 3 Cali OG Amnesia Haze X and 10-15 per plant on the Blue Cookies going into this. This will only increase in the coming weeks due to defoliation that was just done. I have been aggressively LST training and defoliating every day because of growth up to this point.

They grow fast at this Age . Transferred them to 3gal pots this week I miss how the grow room used to be so clean lol before the huge hose was installed :p

Big defoliation this week! Being my first ever grow I was a little worried but I have been reassured it is for the best so can’t wait to see how she turns out! I have also had a ph issue this week for some reason the ph levels in my reservoir kept dropping I have monitored the ph levels daily topping up the reservoir with more water to raise the ph so hopefully things settle down. This girl is looking better and better every day her stickybudz 😏 are coming along really nicely and is starting to produce more of a smell to her now can’t wait to see the final out come! Today i chopped all plants, top of the plants are already dried i try out buds 👌 nice taste, sativa high 😎 12.7. Buds are ready and 90% dry. I pack them into jar to get yummy taste and high 🤤
