Grow Diary Update: Week 5 - Pre-Flowering and LST Evaluation Entering Pre-Flowering Stage At the end of last week, the first pistils appeared, marking the beginning of the pre-flowering stage for my plants 🙌 There's much to manage now. To support optimal stretching, I've adjusted the nutrients following 2/3 of the Terra Aquatica feeding schedule: CalMag: 2 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.45 mS/cm) Grow: 1.33 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 1.33 ml/l The nutrient solution now has an EC of 1.3 mS/cm (638 ppm PPM-500/TDS) with a pH of 6.1. These adjustments aim to promote vigorous growth and prepare the plants for flowering. Weather and Growth With significant weather improvements, my plants are thriving at full speed. Every centimeter gained now counts towards maximizing the final yield, turning around from the challenging weeks prior. Pest Management I'm fortunate not to have encountered pests like spider mites, aphids, or thrips. However, the persistent snail issue remains. Nightly patrols with a flashlight have been effective, and placing old lettuce leaves away from the plants has helped trap and remove snails, ensuring the plants remain undisturbed. LST Experiment Results The two plants I trained with LST have responded admirably, showing healthy adaptation to the bending and vigorous growth. Yet, I'm at a crossroads regarding the upcoming stretch phase: should I continue to tie down branches to maintain an even canopy or allow natural upward growth to potentially boost vertical yield? Boas growmies. Foi regada dia 15 Dezembro com 2L de água. Runoff pH: 6.3/ EC: 2.39 Aumentei muito a alimentação devido à quantidade de folhas amarelas( espero estar a fazer bem, e visto que é um solo lightmix decidi carregar um pouco mais para suprir as necessidades.) É o meu 2 round com esta strain, embora desta vez tenha tido uma deficiência de nitrogenio por culpa minha, há uma coisa que não muda: a produção de tricomas. 😋

june 27: Start flowering the plants arent too big, they will end each with around 50-60 grams like this i am also vegging a sativa that im going to flower with them under the same light once shes big enough so i need the space. the light used is the Optic 4 (gen3) 410watt i am growing in coco without perlite i lost track of the real veg time but that doesnt matter i just look at my plants and flower them once they get a decent size, i will update this every saturday so the week by week comparison is easy to follow.

This week was smooth. Setting up for greatness

Put into paper towel June 4/21, Popped June 8 and put into soil. Humid and hot conditions, high 20-30s •C. Rained overnight and into the morning of June 8th. Very humid day. Placed into plastic cups with slits for easy transplanting. Grow baby grow!! June 9th- poor girl got trashed by vermin overnight. Transplanted back into soil and topped with worm castings. The jerks…. Showing great signs of life after… about to pop the seed off the sprout 💪🏼 June 11th- not sure if it’s because we’ve had less sunlight and cooler temps, or if she’s having difficulties popping her shell off but she’s looking kinda droopy. She’s well enough hydrated…. Or seemingly so. Humidity also dropped after several days of high temps and humidity. Shock from the vermin transplant? Tell me girl, how can I help you grow to your most majesticness?? Last pic update- June 12… she didn’t make it RIP sweet girl

On the final few days of a 10 day flush. Will be chopping down this week to harvest and hang dry. Really excited to try this one. The smells in the room are unreal.

End of Week 7 CO2 is definitely increasing growth rates but also changes the game with controlling your environment now that it has to be sealed in order to not waste CO2 unnecessarily. You change one thing and it adds many other variables to keep everything in check. I am learning everyday and that's why I grow. The trellis net is doing its job and the canopy is looking nice and even. I also added a soil top-up and top dress of some BioBloom and Mycorhizae so it can start breaking down before I flip to flower next week (Slow release dry organic amendments). And the ladies are using up nutrients in the soil much faster because of the added CO2 (another variable to take into consideration - faster growth = faster nutrient consumption) In detail: -Carefully removed trellis netting -Ammended each plant individually with my soil mixture and nutrients -Placed them back in the tent -Reinstalled trellis netting and trained the ladies to shape Pest Report: Thrips VS Ladybugs... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. I did not spray any insecticide this week and it really seems like the ladies are happy with my new method of bio-warfare and are wilting less and less often

Update June 19th Next 3 liters. I also added the „vegan phosphor boost“ from S&R. First pistils are becoming visible. So far I’m counting 25 colas on Takti. Update June 16th 3 liters fed with another week of fertilizer schedule skipped because why. the fuck. not! I know the can handle it. They’re battle rappers! Update June 14th SFW - Second Flower Week. Things are going reasonably well. Had some drooping since I skipped watering for two days to combat fungus gnats, but it bounced back quickly after watering again. Takti even appears to be bug-free. The yellow sticky card in the pot has nothing on it. Fingers double-u’d this was only a short episode. Humidity was sky-high last week. Hoping it improves over the coming days.

This wasn't my first rodeo with this strain, so I knew exactly what to expect. She delivered as usual. I love using this site to document my grows. It has been a resourceful guide for me as I navigate my way through my journey as a grower. Everyone who grows anything should use it. A great reference tool for yourself and others.

Amelie has settled in well in the new tent and has gained 4cm in height this week. As she had been standing on the piano by the window under a 7W lamp for a really long time, waiting for a tent to finally become available, she had produced a lot of leaf material. This now had to come down. On 08.03.25 I therefore lollipopped and did some defoliation on the leaf canopy. Now it is nice and airy again and can concentrate fully on flowering. Incidentally, the pistils were already visible on 03.03., 8 days after the start of flowering. I had sent the mother into flowering in the previous run and fed her with Biobizz Grow/Bloom/Calmag and Plagron Green Sensation. As I still have a sample of Biobizz Topmax here, I thought I'd give it a try and see what effect it has on the taste. It's supposed to be sweeter, I've heard.

Hallo liebe growmies, ich hoffe euch geht es allen gut! die Woche war wieder eine erfolgreiche Woche 😁 ich muss sagen ich bin erstaunt wie gut die runde bis jetzt läuft und wie schön sich meine Ladys entwickelt haben, bis jetzt habe ich noch keine Mängel vernehmen können und die Damen sind meines Erachtens nach auf dem besten Weg zur sicheren ernte aber nun zur Woche Am 08.03.23 also einen Tag bevor diese Woche begann habe ich den compost Tee angesetzt dafür habe ich 2,5L Wasser was ich ja eh in der Tonne ab stehen lasse entnommen und habe es in einen leeren behälter von destilliertem Wasser getan, dem ganzen habe ich 2x luftstein hinzu gefügt mit Belüftung's Pumpe (Eheim 200) eine kleine mini heizung für 8 L Aquarien (regelbar) auf 20 Grad eingestellt. Dem ganzen habe ich dann 15g/L wasser compost Tee (37,5g bei 2,5L Wasser) hinzu gefügt bactrex drauf 1g/L wasser (2,5g bei 2,5L Wasser) und 5ml/L orgatrex ( 12,5ml bei 2,5/L wasser) gab es auch noch hinzu das ganze habe ich dann 24 h belüftet und bei ca 20 Grad Wassertemperatur gebraut (Bactrex gab es jetzt 1x bei dieser gabe hinzu,bei dem nächsten compost Tee fällt bactrex dann weg) hab jeder Pflanze von dieser Lösung jeweils 0,5L an die Pflanzen basis gegossen vorher habe ich die Ladys aber natürlich Gewässer mit 2,5L Wasser und Dann Die Lösung oben drauf. Danach saß ich Dann knapp 4 Std vor dem Zelt und hab ausgeschnitten unten rum (alle Blätter und Triebe unter dem netzt entfernt) danach hab ich noch ca 1 Std damit verbracht Triebe von oben heraus zu entfernen die zu dicht an anderen standen ( war echt nicht einfach da nicht zu viel weg zu schnippeln) aber ich glaube ich bin auf nem guten Weg. Den Rest der Woche habe ich nur noch gehofft das sich die Pflanzen gut erholen von dem was ich ihnen angetan habe, und hab die Fächer Blätter so gut wie es geht täglich runter gedrückt unters netzt damit genug Licht eindringen kann in den Baldachin, aber irgendwie hat die Damen das harte ausrasieren nicht wirklich gestört da wie auf den Bildern zu sehen ist, ist der stretch immer noch in gange ist, aber schon deutlich weniger geworden zum Ende dieser Woche. Am Sonntag dem 12.03.23 gab es nur Wasser zum trinken hab jetzt 3,5L Wasser gegossen und somit den Topf komplett mit Wasser gefüllt es kamen dabei ungefähr 20 ml Wasser unten raus, was halb so wild ist, aber immer hin Weiss ich jetzt die gieß menge um den Topf gleichmäßig zu füllen. Oatmeal cookies has no frost. She looking a little light. I think this is week eight and she not looking straight. But other than that don’t look like I’m getting any seeds and the bud looks weak anyway. I guess I didn’t pick a winner after all. Well back to the lab. 😁

2 Semana de crecimiento, hay bastante diferencia en el tamaño con alguna ZEPA similar en recipiente de 7L, menos capacidad más tamaño, sin embargo color amarillento el cual demuestra un desajuste, creo que es exceso de fertilización y/o riego. Por ello estoy sin regar 3 días viendo el peso de las macetas, a veces regamos demasiado olvidándonos de que la plata todavía no desarrollo suficientes raíces como para absorber tal magnitud. Parece que van recuperando su verde intenso, sinonimo de Salud & Bienestar
