Harvest day 70 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 16-18 degrees and 55-59% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. Unfortunately, the rating system at Growdiaries is a bit strange because I have to give the stars before the Smoke Report and in the end it might have led to more stars in terms of taste. . It was my first grow and I really screwed it up a lot, but it resisted all my beginner mistakes, pests, stress, being without irrigation, irrigation without measuring PH, revegetation, etc. I love her, really, in love with this strain. Howdy, So this last week has been about learning, quickly. Plant 2 has been suffering from yellowing, I noticed that at first it was a darker green than plant 1 - (first signs of Mg deficiency I have since learned). As plant 1 was doing so well until a few days ago, I originally assumed that plant 2 was just a bit of a slacker. I think basically it is more susceptible to PH differences than plant 1. First mistake was not knowing about the benefits of PH range... What I did not know earlier in the week is that Mg and Ca are only absorbed efficiently at 6.0 and above, my OCD kicked in and I refused to let the PH wander above 5.7; as from what I have read in forums, 5.7 is the sweet spot. Main lesson from last week is that I'm not going to be so anal about PH levels, I will let the PH rise to 6.3 before I drop it back down to 5.7, this will give the plants and window of time to grab hold of some well deserved CalMag before I drop it back down so it can retrieve some Mn and P if it needs any. My plants told me they were in need of Calcium over a week ago, but I naively thought that maybe I spilled a droplet of water on one of the leaves, and that caused it to burn. As I was adding CalMag+ to the solution when I replenished the reservoir. My second mistake was panicking... After realising above, I bombed the nutrient solution with 35ml of Cal Mag, bringing up the PPMS to 460, this subsequently gave the strongest plant nutrient burn. On top of this, I gave both plants a foliage spray during lights out with some diluted CalMag as well. So anyway, the main thing I have learnt is when the plants are ill, its probably best to take it easy, do a res swap at the very worst and concentrate on my PH levels first before throwing more variables into the fray. Positive notes: Plants 1 & 2 is now working on their 5th node, I know I am technically allowed to top at this point, but I am going to wait until they are working on their 7th before doing anything, this way I will be able to tell if the new growth is looking healthy, and my investigations are correct. I have now installed a Hailea 150a, with a submersible pump, this is now keeping the reservoir at 20ºc and its keeping the nutrients well mixed, I'll post a video later this week showing the set up. The roots at the top look a little dark, but I have done a sniff test and they don't smell at all, I think it is just where some of the tea has built up where the bubbles meet the air. Roots do seem rather large, maybe they have stretched so far looking for Mg and Ca :P Decided against increasing PPMS, going to do another week, so 5 weeks veg, gives the ladies some time to recover. Trimmed the burns off of leaves mainly so I can keep a track to see if damage is continuing. Anyways, I hope the above makes sense and draws other newbies attention towards PH ranging for hydro; I have posted a pic which shows the PH range for each important element. Thanks! 😊

10/26/24 she gets thirsty thirsty. her fan leaves are damaged and messed up considering needing to reveg and fight bugs but she is very nice looking in the pistils and sugar leaves 10/30 she has a nice candy smell to her already. i sprayed all of my plants with spinosad. the spidermites seem to jump from one plant to the others if i only get some of them. she has seemed absolutely wrecked this whole grow but the qualityvis shining through 11/01/24 shes fighting fairly well. aesthetically she looks rough with thw reveg leaves and then the fan leaves dying from dehydration amongst other things. but shes really shining through all the bullshit. the biggest issue is having her veg for so long in such small pots. she was root bound in a solo cup and then a 1 gallon. if i wouldve put her in a bigger pot like 7 gallon or maybe even bigger, i think wed have a better time with keeping her soil moisture levels stable. if i dint water her daily, she struggles bad and i think its just the root to soil ratio is way off.

This is the biggest auto and best to date of my doing she is very exciting to watch 💜🍓🥛 🌱 I just started giving all my plants nutrients so we will see how this works out now 👌😂📚 happy growing fam

Transplanted into a 3 gallon fabric pots. Cut off couple of the dried tips off the blue gelato, not sure what's up with it, the other two girl got topped left the gelato alone you can see why other than little blue everything is looking as I expected

They started blowing up last week we're in the beginning of the 4th week and there looking good spraying them with Dr zymes ones a week

OMG! (Oh My Growers) what an adventure we have here! Looks like in a few weeks we'll be deep in a zenzational jungle! 😍 They're definitely comfortable, I can notice the roots and mycorrhiza combo just taking over the soil. Leaves are branching out and getting think which is great to see, not as thick as I'd expected though. Next week they'll be transplanted to final 11L fabric pots. Happy Growing!

This girl isn't looking super frosty but she smells like candy. Almost an identical aroma to the slurricane 7. I spread the plants out a little this week so they get better light and air flow. Other than that I haven't done anything besides keep the reservoir full. Still pumping nutrients 1 minute on 20 minutes off. They are getting .5 tsp maxibloom per gallon. Not going to run any boosters this round. They dont look like they want or need it.

Beginning of week.. As you can see.. The leaves tend to kinda curl.. Its weird.. She'll will be dry asf.. Like the whole cup is lighter than air.. Then as soon as I water, the leaves curl like this.. Is this rootbound? Lol.. Idk.. Maybe.. I can tell by the drainage that the roots are pretty massive in there.. Last time I grew this strain, the roots were fucking massive.. Lets see how this goes! The leaves will end up straightening out today.. But I dont like stressin my ladies! Pistils have been poppin out for at least a week now.. I think she's gonna flower very soon! Next day.. So here is a clone of her.. Just to see what happens.. I may use it to make some feminized pollen with it.. And hopefully inbreed it, as long as everything is timed out right it should be pretty simple. Anyways.. Gave the mama a little haircut.. Removed the fan leaves.. Her canopy is already so perfect.. When one branch is shorter than the others I bend her down and keep her on the side where the light is a bit weaker. She ends up stretching while the longer branches are under the heavier light and they dont stretch much so it gives the shorter branches motivation to stretch lol.. Gotta finesse her lol she loves it! She hasnt been showing any of those "drooping" stress signs anymore.. Before of after watering.. I had another strain do the same before but was perfectly fine afterward.. Just a fluke for a day or some shit idk lol.... Aaand back to the clone.. You can see how the branches werent coming out the same as the others.. The symmetry was off.. That's why I chopped it off.. Wish I woulda just cloned the whole top now.. Lol.. Oh well.. Im sure itll do SoMeThInG lol Mid week.. Went ahead and removed a couple more leaves.. Now it just tops.. Nothing else.. Next week will FOR SURE be week 1 of flower.. She is spittin out pistils like crazy. There is one node on one branch that is missing a leaf.. It has 2 stiples and 2 calyxes.. But no leaf lol.. Crazy.. Other than that.. Shes trucking along.. My last WW Auto took a similar beating.. This girl should be fine after this awful haircut lol.. I just want her to have nothing but tops.. End of week.. She seems happy and healthy.. Only thing I can see is a little nute burn on the leaf tips.. I haven't done much to try and avoid it.. I should probably back off on something.. Next week I will have a better idea! Next week is week 1 of flower.. Haven't noticed much stretching.. If any at all.. But again.. She seems happy and healthy!!! ... On to the next...
