This girl is phat. Real thick stalk and massive leaves. I topped her twice, which I had reservations in doing given her weak start. She bounced back incredibly so she also got some LST to open up the canopy. It's flower time for this lady and I'm excited to see her stretch and fatten up!

What up fam, weekly update on these lovely ladies. I put the scrog net out this week for support and am I glad I did. Only after a couple days they grew right through it. The greenhouse is 6'5 feet tall and they're pushing 5'6. I'll go in there and take off some of the lower fan leafs at the bottom but not to much defoliation needed. I'm seeing preflowers so I'll also switch the nutes from grow to bloom. All in all Happy Growing.

Hi Growmies, This was her last week of heavy feeding. I have already decreased the nutes for the coming week and will probably start flushing her the week after. So that she should be finished by the end of the contest pretty much. Regardless of her age the rootball has shrunk only a little bit. I have also taken her out of the scrog to enable the canopy to open up further and allow more light penetration for the maturation of the buds. This worked actually very well, as the weight of the buds pull the plant open. Thanks for stepping by and until next week!

03/02/2025 (Day 22) Satisfied with overall growth. Tray watered with new feeding schedule from week 4: 1.8ml Calmag + 1.8ml Growell Plus 8:8:8 + 2ml wood vinegar to 1L RO water, phed to 5.8. 04/02/2025 (Day 23) Did LST on DSD-2 and DSD-3. I am going to leave DSD-1 as it is. 05/02/2025 (Day 24) Watered tray with : 1.8ml Calmag + 1.8ml Growell Plus 8:8:8 + 2ml wood vinegar to 1L RO water, phed to 5.8. 06/02/2025 (Day 25) Did some more defoliation on DSD-2 and DSD-3. Applied foliar spray - 3ml wood + 2ml seaweed extract. 07/02/2025 (Day 26) Removed big fan leaves from the top of DSD-1 to promote more growth on lower branches 08/02/2025 (Day 27) Noticed substrate was still moist so skipped watering. 09/02/2025 (Day 28) Prepared compost tea: 1 cup worm casting, 2ml seaweed extract, 2 tbl spoon molasses + 5L RO water, aerated with oxygen bubbler overnight.

Day 49-56 (Day 50) I hooked up my carbon filter to the humidity controller and it is keeping the room exactly at 65-70% RH night and day. It looks like it turns on about every 45 minutes for about 5 minutes so it allows me to run the co2 bag properly. I don’t even have to use my dehumidifier. The room is 100% dark now too. Even the small red lights on the space heaters. Not going to feed anything other than foliars this week. (Day 51) Blackberry #4 & #8 #9 and white widows #2 & #3 are all confirmed males. Chopped them down and recycled the soil. White widow #1 is the first official female and I’m starting to see pistils on the m39/zkittlez too. Plants seem to be responding to the light fairly well. It’s hung 32 inches above the canopy which is as high as it can go without strapping it to the roof, which may have to happen one day. The plant can get within 6 inches of the light so I’m probably good. The ppfd output is 1800umols which is super high so I want to hang them as high as possible in veg. I wish I could rent a ppfd meter to see if I’m in range at 32”. (Day 52) Blackberry breath #3 is the first official bbb female to show. I decided to scrap BCTG #2. It sounded like a good strain but after looking at pictures of people who have grown it online, it doesn’t look up to my standards. I found a very small patch of powdery mildew on one of the leaves so I’m not even going to start with that shit again. I’m really thinking about scrapping the m39/zkittlez and the white widow too. I’m praying that I get at least 4 females of BBB. I tried super cropping for the first time today. A few of the branches I definitely squished a bit too much as they turned quite brown and looked dead within a day. (Day 53) Despite the m39/zkittlez vigorous growth, I know it will be a shitty strain that will most likely herm as it’s from a bag seed of low grade weed. I’ve decided instead of scrapping it, I will use it for experimenting with a new chemical powdery mildew preventative. If it dies oh well. I doused it and chopped a limb off a few hours ago during lights on and it seems fine. (Day 54) I’m about 90% sure BBB 6&7 are both female. #2 & #5 are looking like males but too early too tell. #1 is really tough to say. Just gotta be patient I guess. #3 has a great spread out structure, I hope it doesn’t stretch too much. The scrogging is a priority. I put up the scrog net just to see how it fits. It’s a little small around the edges but that’s fine. So it’s looking like out the 9, I would be lucky to get 4 fems if #1 & 7 would show forsure already. If #1 is a female I have my 4 and I can throw out the white widow. The white widow is just insurance at this point. Super cropped plants have recovered nicely. Going to continue doing this more. I’ve noticed that the plants that were put into my custom soil mix have very small fan leaves compared to the fabric pots of straight promix and dry amendments. Could also be the fabric pot is helping dry downs too. (Day 56) I’m seeing some yellowing so I’m going to give a foliar spray just too keep some deficiencies at bay. All of the plants are stunted except the m39 and bbb#3. Node spacing has also reduced significantly. I can’t help but feel it’s from the intensity of my lights but maybe they just need a transplant into some new soil something. Luckily the stunt and droop is only really happening to what I suspect are male plants anyway. Leaves are looking twisted and gnarled on #5. Going to move it into the veg tent for a while. I’m going to mix up and amend my Destiny/coco blend today and transplant bbb#3 and 6 & 7 in a few days. I mixed them up in contractor bags making sure to toss and turn vigorously. Here is my blend: 2 bags 40L Destiny soil 2 bags 40L coco 700ml glacial rock dust 700ml oyster shell flour 700ml nature’s pride bloom 300ml basalt rock dust 150ml langbeinite 150ml nature’s pride veg I am also going to try the Destiny top dress as it’s only 13 bucks a bag and full of good shit. I’m trying to not feed heavy in flower other than 2 or 3 top dresses and 2 teas and nothing after week 5. Because it’s taken so long for the plants to show sex, when I transplant into the 10 gallon pots, they should have more than enough nutrients too keep them going strong all the way through flower with just water. I’m a little skeptical about that though. Besides teas and dressings are fun. Everything should be broken down by week 8 or so. Will transplant in a few days.

We are talking about the harvest day of the first of our two fantastic TEST #2 that have a wonderful strain name, a genetic line still top secret but world-class, Zamnesia created it with love and we tested it before the release. Wonderful, I'll start by telling you that if I didn't have to try many strains I would probably do entire grows only of this strain. It is truly of the highest level, I grew two plants of an almost ideal phenotype, one left to grow straight and grew out of all proportion and another with a single topping as soon as I noticed that they were becoming immense. The one you see in the photos is the one with the single topping, lots of cleaning underneath and other lateral brunches that gave us flowers that were nothing short of spectacular. Very long, hard and heavy and you have to see how much resin. I was starting to fear mold but there is no trace of it, for this reason I harvested the plant at the beginning of the harvest window. It's a little early this time but the plant is very indica we can say this and we don't want to make it too soporific so I harvest it very early in the harvest window, very cloudy/milky trichomes, I must admit still something too transparent (when it's a little too much I don't struggle to say it guys but often you exaggerate with the application to the letter of all amber and the plants become soporific, even the sativas, I recommend finding your happy medium and adapting to the characteristics of the plant. Zamnesia has made some very interesting, short and exhaustive posts on instagram). We also have a lot of body, I did everything to keep these very heavy flowers upright with cotton ropes that held the plant up anchored here and there where I could, I'm 185 cm and it's practically as tall as me, look at what a beautiful monkey face I have in the photo where I demonstrate it. If I were you I would try it as soon as it comes out. pure TNT, the techniques are highly recommended, next time I grow it I will topping it endlessly and keep it lower. I risk making 200 grams per plant. Do it yourself, doing the math is worth it. And badly. Once again I have to tell you that I was impressed by how Plagron fertilizers work combined with Plagron soil and all the recommended additives. Do it and I repeat, do not neglect soil and additives. Got a TDS meter at the end of this week. This lady is also in full on flower!!! I just love seeing the pistols, I am also catching a small bit of smell during a small period when the lights come on! She is starting to spread out and even out well. I dont think she is to great for LST, or at least she should be started a bit towards the end middle of week 3 or the end even. She grows short and bushy.

GTH SEED #1 in training, just super cropped on one side to even conopy. The first site im recording will be a clone,it is on back side of plant and will not produce. #2,#3,#4 pics,#2 is stripped of leaves at about 12 inches. 06/16/18 #4 is showing pre-flowers,#2,#3, no sign yet. #1 check in the morning. 06/19/2018 Still no pre -flowers on #1,#2,#3, #4 however is female so I Fimmed her to encourage side shoots to grow biggest of wider canopy. #1 reacting well to supercropping 20 tops as of today. Praying she is female🙏🙏. She is a stretchy girl in flower 2 to 3 x her vegged height so trying to be low profile as possible.👍

10/2 They made it to their forever pots. Next Saturday we'll be hitting 2 months from sprout and as a whole its been a pleasure to grow these plants. They all are a very healthy green and seem to be happy. Temperatures in the region may have unexpectedly slowed them down (I grow in a basement) because temps have plummeted from around 78 with the lights on to as low as 71! I don't think they like it either. Growth has slowed with it. Never fear, space heater is here. Everything thing needs to be dialed in for the next few weeks because I want explosive growth over the next 21 days. Going to try a SST somewhere in there. Parsing through all this bro science isn't easy but it sure is fun to experiment. It allegedly gives you good root growth and provides crucial enzymes. Almost sounds too good to be true but I'm going to see how it goes regardless. I heard you can use I wide variety of seeds but alpha alpha is the only one I have on hand. Wish me luck. As for the plants: Moby= beast. I'd be a fool not to attempt to clone her. Vigorous grower and responds well to training. Not a demanding eater either, at least so far. Loving this freebie from NASC. Highly recommend them if you're in the northeast US looking for a local seed bank. GZ 1 = steady. Probably the biggest back slide if you want to call it that. Spotted some yellowing on lower leaves but they are shaded by this ones thick canopy. May not even be an issue but we keep an eye on it. Probably the biggest critic of the lowering temperatures because she's slowed down in the past 2 days. Gz2= trooper. She had a rougher upbringing and she's got a far different shape than the other two because of it. But with a little work I'm sure soon both GZ will be indistinguishable from one another. Banana daddy= forgot to take pics of her. Man have I been growing autoflowers all wrong. I may have fed this plant once. Though it should be noted that the soil I put her in was amended with alpha alpha, fish bone meal, and guano. She seems to really enjoy it so far. Not a single yellow leaf. Droopy at times though which is odd. Also some tacoing on new growth that ends up correcting itself as the leaf gets bigger. Double odd. Next time I do an auto run I'm definitely doing much less in terms of feeding and maintenance. Loving your plants too much can be deadly. Starting to figure them out though so I'm happy I did at least one. I'll post in a few days when I water my photos again.
