Fish Sh!T 1tsp / Cal-Mag 1tsp per gal @ 6.1 ph for 0.5 gal She looks like she likes it :) 10/16 Krisabel seems to just love the watering! Growing right before my eyes! over night she went from a bit over 2 to pushing 4 inches! Can't wait to see how she shows.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2205 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 1/19- Here we go into Week Four of flower and these testers are ON FIRE!🔥🔥🔥 Both testers are in a flower frenzy and are ready to eat! Today I gave both girls their last top dressing with Down To Earth 4-8-4 Flower Mix at a ratio of 2tbsp/g and Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend 5-2-4 Organic Plant Food at a ratio of 1tbsp/g which I simplified by using 1/3 cup of the 4-8-4 and 1/4 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 4g pot and 3/8 cup of 4-8-4 and 1/8 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 3g pot. After working the amendments into the medium, I watered it in with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. It will take a week for the microbes to begin breaking it down and will last for 3-4 weeks after that which should coincide with them finishing up, or close to it, enabling them to naturally 'flush' themselves out. I've also increased the power to the HLG 650R's the the Trolmaster Hydro X Controller to 75% which has them pulling 990w at the wall and have them hung 32" above canopy. I also starting adding in 4 hours of UVA during the middle of the light cycle for the remainder of flower. I've been monitoring their leaf temperatures and they're running 71-73℉ which is perfect! I have the AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller set to 1100ppm with a 100ppm window and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 controller set to maintain a 74℉ temperature in the tent while the lights are on. 1/21- I'm watering these thirsty girls daily with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉ and they're both thriving! The #1 pheno stays in a perpetual state of 'praying'.... a VERY happy girl she is and the #2 is just enormous with tons of bud sites and flowers that are starting to get a coating of white trichomes giving her that frosty appearance! 1/23- I watered/fed both testers today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water each with GreenGro's Natures Brix, Granular Myco and Flower Finisher mixed in, after which I added 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉. They'll be getting straight water from here moving forward as the medium has enough food in it to support them until they finish. 1/25- Daily watering continued today with both girls receiving 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. Both testers are extremely healthy and in max flower mode. Both testers are looking amazing and always in a constant state of 'praying'! ***** Week 6 December 23 to 29, 2020 - Days 36 to 42 from germination ***** Week 5 was certainly a stretch week and she grew tall baby👊👍 She has been doing well with her crack on the main stem from early on and when I pulled her out you could hardly tell where it was. Perfect......because she has been growing hard she is getting a little uneven in her canopy but I have been watching how hard I pull on her main stem. Correcting the situation as best I can now but with only in 3 gal pots its tough to get out further on her long branches and tie them down. Could get creative with Bamboo and creating ties but those suckers are eye pokers and I don't use them too often. Will just deal with the potential difference in height and keep pulling her harder now that I can. Silica increasing this week as well now that we close to the end of being able to shape her lower branches. She needs the strength now to defend any potential pests and to growth thick stocks so she can support the bud weight. Since she has been going hard it was time to pull her out and start trimming some lower branches now. Yes she is an auto and many say to never remove leaves, never mind branches, but I do and want to allow her to focus on top buds. I will accept a potential decrease in yield but since I am already performing LST and working with more than one top.....a gain in one area can be offset in another without too much pain😜👍 Stripped quite a few leaves from this girl. She is thick at the bottom and in the last week her node spacing has gone crazy on the 8 main branches😲 I will trim the bottom as it just doesn't get the light intensity down below......even with opening the canopy up lots those sites are still 12" to 18" lower than the tops at this point. Her side branching is really thick and looking awesome. She is showing signs of wanting to grow some big buds😀 She will be able to support the weight at least.........really nice selection Fast Buds!!!!!!! Little more detail........ Dec 23/20, Day 36 - Feeding day today. Continuing with first weeks flower feed of 2ml/L. - 2L feed with Micro, Bloom, Magnifical, AstroFlower, VeloKelp, Natures Candy @ 2ml = 800ppm and 5.8pH. - add microbes again on the next feeding!!!! Dec 24/20, Day 37 - She was given 1L of feed left from yesterday (both her and Orange Sherbet.......J47 is on a two day dry.) - Her color is good but still quite yellow in the new growth points. - pull out tomorrow and clean up lower growth and check runoff numbers. Dec 25/20, Day 38 - 2L full feed again with the same 2ml/L feed as earlier in the week for all the autos. Added AN Rhinoskin as well for silica. - 1150ppm and 5.9pH going in.........pots were really dry and perfect pretty well. - Runoff was 925ppm and 6.1pH.........I can live with that at week 2 flower😁😁 Dec 26/20, Day 39 - 2L full feed again. Had mixed up 12L yesterday. - Added 2ml/L of Microbial Mass and Piranha = 1200ppm and 5.9pH. - The girls needed their microbe allotment as we get closer to the end. - Bacteria added to help keep some of the nutrients in the media as she finishes. - next watering is more of plain water and add Terpinator. Dec 27/20, Day 40 - pots are light again in the afternoon. - 2L watering with Magnifical, Rezin, and Microbes @ 2ml. Terpinator @ 3ml = 400ppm and 5.8pH - She taking the nutrients but backing off the ppm on this watering a bit. - noticing some clawing in the girl.....start of some excess nitrogen or environmental??? Keeping an eye on it👌 Dec 28/20, Day 41 - the girl is hungry so feeding again today with full nutrients. - 2.5L watering today, stepping up from 2L volume. - Full line of Remo, all 6 parts plus silica again @ 2ml = 1150ppm and 5.9pH Dec 29/20, Day 42 - another feeding in the morning today. Pot was really light. - 2L in the morning giving with same feed of 1150ppm and 5.9pH. - her colour change in the leaves is really popping out now. Bud is all purple but the leaves are turning purple as well. - noticing leaf colour is getting even to the other girls for green. No need to compensate any deficiency anymore......in fact watch over feeding now😀 - in the evening, 12 hours later, pots were pretty light so gave another 1.25L of feed that was left over for 16L mixture yesterday. - she had a total of 3.5L feed today......water tomorrow and not feed. She is doing very well at the start of the week. Canopy height is good but her node spacing has me concerned a bit. Looks like we are going to get some beautiful colours from this girl as her buds are purple already. Leaf colour already has a yellow huge to her........Purple Lemonade baby......on point!!!!.......nice work Fast Buds.......this strain is making a lot of growers go, DAMN she's freaking awesome😁😁😁

This week made a few oopsies . I gave un-ph’d water to one of the plants “moving to fast” . Started defoliation during this week to attempt to redirect plant energy into establishing a full canopy since flowering has initiated. Whilst defoliating I broke a branch that had to be taped to save it. Humidity went out of whack when I stored 4 prepped 5 gal pots for transplant in the tent sooo I’ve got to buy a dehumidifier bc at one point all my plants fell out in a fit . STILL haven’t filled these pots out, & I’m kinda sure/unsure it’s time to re-amend the soil for flowering. I’m conflicting on waiting until beginning/middle of week 7 so I can flush week 11 & 12 . I think that covers it pretty well Week 5 in the 📚 📕 📖.

After defoliating both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants after week 11 they now develop more and amore flower clusters, since the light can penetrate deeper int the canopy now. The plants are producing trichomes like crazy, even the bigger sugar leaves are covered in them! VERY FROSTY PLANTS! The flower clusters clearly form colas now along all side branches and both plants fill up nicely. The smell is now strong and sweet with a clear peach aroma to it, it makes me smile every time I look into the tent. The plants love the Advanced Nutrients feeding schedule and are getting the recommended dose every watering.

11/17 removed nutrients from water, plant will be ready to harvest in a week or so, I'll be doing the flush until harvest. Buds did turn to a more noticeable purple, pistols are orange and shrinking. I have noticed a few trichomes starting to turn amber. I'm excited to see harvest dry weight, buds are very large.

Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. Our home, the air we breathe and everything that surrounds us. Not just today. Hopefully tomorrow as well. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about what’s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. It’s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of nature’s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. After all, just tonight the thermometer climbs again to -1 degree Celsius. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! OMG... still so much time yeahh! Today my Fast Buds Sour Jealousy and Sweet Seeds Big Devil and Dark Devil Automatics arrived. I'm looking forward to it. This time Fast Buds next Time Sweet Seeds. Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. It's been a pretty good week. I did quite a big defoliation, as things were getting crowded. I switched to a more flowering dominant feeding, I decreased the Nitrogen and pumped up the phosphorus and potassium. I will soon do a flush, as it looks like the nuts are starting to accumulate at the roots.

8/23 I WATERED THE NATURAL MK ULTRA AND THE 10TH PLANET IN THE BACK WITH A GALLON AND THE TWO TENS SPLIT A GALLON. It's hotter today and the wind is picking up. I wish I had gotten rid of that plant when I thought to. Oh well. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and treat things. Smell is increases as well as flower size. However I'm noticing more leaves that are yellowing and falling off. Smell has intensified. The special kush in late flower doesn't seem to be producing trichomes like it should. Or maybe it's still early. I see some but by this time I would think it would be frosty as hell! It's rained like once this summer. I've put tons of work into defoliating. I'm not sure if I'll try a controlled spray trying to avoid buds or if I should use a sponge and just hit every leaf. At least I'm seeing that the buds are still expanding and smelling despite these invisible Bastards. It's not like I see them. Even my traps only caught like one. I'll update as I go. EDIT: WATERED THE TENTH PLANET AND THE LATE SOECIAL KUSH 1 GAL. PLAN ON FEEDING TOMORROW. I DID A SHIT TON OF DEFOLIATION. THEN I TOOK A SPONGE AND EITHER DEFOLIATED OR WIPED THE LEAVES WITH A SPONGE AND SAME CONCOTION ON THE SPECIAL KUSH IN THE TEN. I DEFOLIATED MORE AND THEN "SPOT TREATED" A FEW LEAVES ON A BOTTOM BRANCH OF THE 10TH PLANET WITH MITE X. I'M WAITING UNTIL THE MORNING TO SEE THE RESULTS AND BEFORE I MOVE FORWARD. I HAVE ORGANOCIDE BEE SAFE AND I KNOW IT WORKS GOOD BUT IT SMELLS LIKE SHIT. IM HOPING ILL FIGURE THIS OUT. 8/24 Didn't have time to do a video or take any pictures. I pit a lot of work in the garden yesterday. I removed a couple small branches that had mold on the stem. If I had listened to my intuition and moved that plant (instead of listening to my dad) I probably could've negated this mess. Windy as hell yesterday. Maybe that's why I don't see mich damage from the thrips. The runt in the 50 has some silver ingredients on it. I'm considering using spinosad. Those are way earlier in flower and that shit WORKS. The plants that I treated with citric acid looked no worse for the wear and actually BETTER than they hadcthe day before. The other 10th planet and the Pink kusg in the ten are the worst. If I can't beat it I may junk them. I'm planning on treatingvtge plants I didn't yesterday tonight. I may use a different treatment I'm not sure. EDIT: Went back over and took a few pics and a video. I defoliated a SHIT TON of leaves. I can just tell the ones that the thrips have been sucking and laying eggs. It's windy as hell. Plants are going crazy. I'm wondering if the wind will hurt the thrips. Maybe I should've just stood with the wind at my back and throw a buNch of D.E. in the air and have it coat the plants. I'm scared of using d.e. because it absorbs so much water. It's like 80%! The year I had fusarium I put a bunch of d.e. on the soil and it retained water like a mofo. The plants I treated showed no I'll effects. I'm th8nkobg I'm going to remove patient zero and isolate it. And I'm considering using spinosad on the pink kush. What would you do? ON PLANTS WITH SMALLER FLOWERS I WAS ABLE TO JUST FOLD THE LEAVES UPWARD AND GET THE BOTTOMS. ILL CHECK AND SEE HOW IT WORKED IN THE MORNING AND GO FROM THERE. WE GOT SOME GOOD RAIN TODAY. IM WORRIED ABOUT MOLD THOUGH. THATS WHY IM HESITANT TO SPRAY BUT SOME FLOWER IS BETTER THAN NONE. 8/26 IT POURED last night. Sheet rain. The storm had passed and it was like a 14% chance of rain at night. Oh well. The girls seemed to have loved it! The looked great this morning. I shook everything off and got soaked in the process. Inspected for damage and luckily didn't find any. I'm feeling optimistic about my diy green cleaner lcpt. I'm seriously considering spunosad on the pink kush as it's earlier in flower and I think it could handle it. I might just use this spray first and see how it goes. Buds are swelling and seem bigger everyday. I looked at some old diaries and I can see ive had thrips before. I also have some insect (ear wigs or pillars) that target lower branches and kinda lollipop them. I hope it's not earwigs because I've had bas luck dealing with them. I'll have to check at night. EDIT: WENT OVER AROUND THREE TO CHECK THINGS OUT. PLANTS LOVED THAT RAIN AND SEEMED TO LOVE THE TREATMENT AS WELL. THAT RAIN AND WIND DEFINATELY DISRUPTED THE THRIPS. THE SPRAY I USED SHOULD KILL ON CONTACT AND SUFFOCATE EGGS AND LARVAE. PLANTS LOOK THE HAPPIEST IVE SEEN THEM IN A WHILE. I CANT TREAT THE OTHER PLANTS TONIGHT BUT I SHOULD HAVE TIME TOMORROW NIGHT TO GET WHAT I MISSED. IF ITS NECESSARY. ILL KEEP AN EYE OUT. 8/27 Rained some last night. I had to shake everything off this morning. Looking back through previous diaries I've HAD thrips before and couldn't identify it and made it to harvest so I think I'll be OK. BUDS arecrcploding in growth and the smell is turning into tjat pungent aroma we all love. The early special kush smells amazing. I think the rain and wind helped with the thrips. I'll do another application and get the plants I missed. That pink kush in the ten looks pretty rough. I probably would've been better off to ditch it earlier it's been treated now so I'll keep an eye on it amd I may just cut it. If I put in the work they would be fine. At least I hope so. We'll see. I'll update as I go. 8/28 Had to shake the plants off this morning. Must've rained last night. I'm not used to that since we've been in such a drought. I'll check later but I'll probably hold off as most are still heavy. I probably should selectively water the thirsty ones but I think tjey can make it. The rain (or the treatment) has greatly helped cut down on thrip population. Nights are in the 40's so it's not the most hospitable environment for them. I'm still keeping an eye out and will be applying another treatment at some point. I didn't do a video this morning as it was kinda dark. I'll check them again when I get back. It's supposed to rain tomorrow all day. I think I might bring the furthest special kush in the barn under lights for the day. That way those huge buds don't get soaked. I'll play it by ear. 8/29 Everything was dry this morning. I could see the soil pulling together away from the bags. My late flowering special kush was good though. It was good to let things dry out from all that rain. We are supposed to get an inch of rain with rain tonight. I didn't want to leave the girls high and dry so I WATERED THE GARDEN STRATEGICALLY WITH 5.5 GALS. USING IT WHERE IT WAS NEEDED MOST. That way if we don't get as much rain as we are supposed to the girls will still be OK. Didn't do a video today. I decided to leave everything out and let it get the natural rain. I'm sure it will be fine. I'm going to need to stake those buds as they swell. They are getting pretty big. EVERYTHING is getting substantially bigger.
