Tuesday, February 9 Fed plants on Saturday 3/4 gallon each. I added 1tsp/ga of Bud Candy and 2.5tsp/ga of Tiger Bloom by Fox Farm. Water was @6.3 pH. I also fed Monday February 8 in the evening. Gave plants a compost tea made with 2 cups of Dr Earths flower bloom, 1 cup of powdered bone meal at a 4-12-0 ratio, and also added 2.5tbs of un-sulfured molasses to 2.5 ga of water @6.4pH. I let tea brew for 24hrs with an aquatic aerator. Bud sites appear to have white pistil hairs continuing to grow and multiply. Stalks look healthy and I’m glad to see the plants finally progress! Temps have been ranging b/w 76F-82F with RH b/w 43%-56%. Ive raised the light as tall as I possibly could to keep stalks from touching the light and causing some burning. Ive also added some bamboo stakes to help provide support to some sites that were touching the LED light, I've also changed to shorter, rubber block supports for the pots to sit on instead of the taller rolling holders to help lower the plants and allow for a little more growth. Excited to keep y'all posted and as always, stay safe and happy growing💚✌️🌱 Wednesday, February 10 I watered plants 1/2ga each @ 6.25pH with only CalMag and "Great White" Myco to promote healthy rhizosphere activity. I mixed 1.25tsp/ga of CalMag and 0.5tsp/ga of the "Great White". Plants are showing steady growth and the one on the far left seems to be ahead of the other two, makes sense seeing as it was in soil 10-13 days prior to the other two before the early growth medium issues. I can't believe its taken this long for these Autos to begin flowering but Im just glad that they appear to at least finish out now. This has been a great learning experience not only about gardening and this plant but also the opportunity to learn a good deal about myself as this has become a form of relaxation and reflection for me. Okay so I’ve been slacking a bit on the grow-diaries, only because I’ve had a lot going on and also because I don’t feel obligated to do so because this isn’t a sponsored grow. It’s been nice to have a little break but I think I’m ready to come back at it full force again. These girls are living their best lives, they are all the same age and they are all thriving. Floraflex nutrients, as well as some Silica, Regina-root, and a trichome enhancer called “Grease”!! Seems like the real deal. Watering every other day and let me tell you these girls are very thirsty. Defol as needed! My new HLG Blackbird lamp fixture is out of this world. I typically fit 4 autos in my 3x3 but now it’s essentially one Purple punch from Fastbuds and I had to cram 2 more inside basically because they are going crazy. During the initial two weeks of growth, Bad Guy by UKHTA Genetics encountered suboptimal conditions marked by low humidity. This environment took a toll, causing some leaves to exhibit signs of dehydration, notably curling and drying at the edges and base. Despite these challenges, the strain showcased its resilience, pushing forward with steady growth. Regular monitoring and adjustments are crucial to ensure Bad Guy's health and maximize its potential as it navigates these less-than-ideal conditions.

I am feeding with tps one and CalMag oac one time, then it’s back to regular tap water (well water) that comes at 8.5 pH with 156ppm of tds. The feed was approx a pH of 6.5. More importantly is the consistent soil pH which appears fixed at 6.8 I know it’s lazy! However…. I have noticed doing this to reveal to me that the soil pH is very stubborn and not easily changed by the pH of the water alone. Stuff in the water can definitely have an impact. But still, most feed waters I use don’t change the soil ph. I do make sure the pH is within a healthy range for soil, something between 6 and 7 I figure is ideal. I’ve found if there is enough lime in the mix, and as long as I don’t over feed soluble nutes, then the soil pH appears stable and fixed. With enough lime in the mix, I can ultimately arrest the soil pH at 7. It’s really cool. I thought adding too much lime would give me something potentially alkaline, and maybe it will. But I’ve added lots of lime before and still haven’t gotten past 7 pH. Maybe I didn’t add enough to go further? Nevertheless I’m not interested in going past 7. I haven’t seen any issues with the speed of growth watering with 8.5 tap water, surprisingly. As I’ve said the soil pH would read 6.8 before and immediately after watering with the 8.5 tap. So….. I’m thinking the stability of the soil pH is a positive indication that the microbes are not being subjected to pH shifts, or at least nothing substantial. I mean, at the end of the day when things are looking good, I feel like I must have something right.

So this is how things are looking at the end of Week 8,going into week 9. Definitely one of my best grows yet, no issues whatsoever, great strain to run, if I like how she smokes (which I'm sure I will) I will definitely run her again.

Last week, instead of 2 g of GHSC Powder Feeding, I only gave 1.5 g p l of substrate so that I can give you another 1 g per l of substrate next week so that it lasts until the end :-). It is developing very well and the buds are starting to grow :-). The week was poured 3 times with 1.1 l each time. once of them GHSC Enhancer was added :-). had one stronger then the others so i decided to fim and lst her. gave the other one lst and small trim and the last one i only bend down 2 big leaves. from now on i focus more on the special one who got the fimming.

Week 18 (30-6 tm 5-7) 30-6 Temperatuur: 31.4 graden (licht aan) 22.5 graden (licht uit) Luchtvochtigheid: 69% (hoogste) 50% (laagste) Ik heb de trichomen bekeken en heb besloten haar nog een dagje langer laten staan. Watergift: Geen. 1-7 Vandaag heb ik de trichomen opnieuw bekeken en die zien er goed uit! Veel cloudy en best wel wat amber. Ik hou echt van deze trichome foto's, echt mind blowing hoe dat er uit ziet! Dus vandaag gaat de schaar er in! 2-7 Ik heb besloten om een wet trim te doen zodat als ze droog is ze gelijk in de cure pot kan. Geloof het of niet, maar ik ben wel 12 uur lang bezig geweest om alles te knippen 😅 Op 1-7 ben ik in de middag begonnen en in de vroege ochtend van 2-7 was ik klaar. Het natte gewicht van de buds is 283 gram, en het natte gewicht van de trim is 61 gram. Ik ben nu al super tevreden met het gewicht! Dit is meer dan het dubbele aan gewicht vergeleken met mijn eerste grow. De buds zien er ook echt mooi uit. Ik schat dat het tussen de 50 en 75 gram droog gaat zijn. Ik ben benieuwd, nu een paar dagen drogen! Wel heb ik iets te lang gewacht want de LV in de jar geeft nu 57% aan. Ik hoop dat dit over een dag wat om hoog gaat. Nu een paar weken curen en dan kom ik met de rook verslag 😁 Ik zal binnenkort ook even berekenen wat de gram per watt is, aangezien ik de lamp niet de gehele grow op 100% had staan. Het droge gewicht van de buds is precies 75 gram, en het droge gewicht van de trim is 19 gram. Samen maakt dat 94 gram! (De trim gebruik ik om een CBD cake of bubble hasj te maken) Ik wil iedereen bedanken voor het volgen van dit avontuur! Tot de volgende keer!

Moving along. Battling a couple teeny tiny PM outbreaks. Changed the set up to put the dehumidifier and heater closer to the intakes. Defoliate quite a bit, added an oscillating fan and spread things out. Seems to be all clear. Found spider mites on one leaf of this one. Haven’t seen anything since removing the leaf and treating with OG Biowar foliar spray at full strength. Also two soil drenches at full strength.

This was the squatest clone and grows thick heavy glowing marshmallow colas. Smells so sweet too soon to tell final taste.
