10/31/2022: Happy Halloween!! 🎃 Not much to update today. Just installed my scrog net the other day, but I'm thinking I may need to lower it. I'm going to wait and see how much stretch I get this week. Plants were all watered yesterday and are still wet enough. Light is turned up to 100% at this point, but raised it a bit more. At 18 hours of light my average DLI is about 45, which is as high as I will take these. 11/3/2022: Did a heavy watering for all 3 plants today, since they are all still stretching. About 2 liters per plant, using the Coconut Water Powder and Bio-Phos. Ph was 6.7. Also did a bit more defoliation on the Newberry and Orange Bubblegum. All plants are looking great. I think raising the light helped with the slight droop the Newberry had. They are starting to smell now too. When I open the tent, the whole house smells. Love it, haha! 11/5/2022: light watering today with the coconut water and Fish Shit. The Newberry and Orange Bubblegum continue to stretch and the Strawberry Gushers appears to have finished it's stretch and the flowers are beginning to get larger. All 3 plants look really healthy and have no problems at all. Also, most of the fungas nats seem to be gone. I'm assuming the predator mites in the BuildAFlower ate most of the fungas nat larvae. Only issue is the plants did not stretch as much as I expected, so my scrog net is a little high, but I'm just going to leave it. Avg. VPD:1.1 PPFD: 700 DLI: 45

The LST method was pretty succesful for the first time. Almost all of my plants reacting how I wanted to them. Only one of them developed a bit slower and that resulted a bit shorter plant-size but thats I think problem of lack of light power. Maybe the next round upgrade will results better plant sizes. Everything is going to the plan. Some defoliation and tiny budsights have to removed. Kinda like lollipopping.

Well she all done, now it's just time to dry her out and get her trimmed and cured. Was a great grow, can never complain when you max out your tent lol. High humidity last 2&3 weeks at night, up around 70% even with the tent walls sucking in hard and fan at full speed. Didn't see any issues while cleaning them up for dry (knock on wood), but did have to move my humidifier to be directly beside the tent with its dry air outflow blowing into the tent intake to get the environment down to 60% for drying. Can't wait to take a taste before curing in 7-14 days once dry is done

Aug 24: cool and rainy lately but will warm up again in a couple days. Gorilla Cookies looks really good and is flowering nicely. Very nice strain. Added some soluble seaweed to the water mostly for the K. Don’t take flash pics of photoperiods unless you’re immediately using a 730 nm light to put them into dark mode. Using the far red light like this is known as phyto-forcing and it’s like getting an extra two hours of darkness making a 26 h day. This far north I think it moves flowering up by 3-4 weeks so obviously a huge trick. Easy and cheap if you have daily access at dusk. Aug 26: it’s been a couple of weeks but I figured it was time for a lazy compost tea. I watered with it slightly diluted and the plants look almost immediately greener and more vigorous…amazing actually. 👍👍 Aug 27: this is definitely the fastest flowering of the four. Hopefully it stays sunny for a few more weeks. Thinned out the understory a bit as there were some small branches and bud sites that were not going to do anything. Check out the birds sounds on the first video. The magpies thought I was too close to their nest in the tree or something…they’re usually not quite that annoying. Aug 29: this is a great strain, and the manifold is working its magic.

Dec. 6- Finally got them into a tent! Theyre looking really good after defoliation. Lush green, still has some burnt tips but the new growth is looking ok and its growing fine so i wont stress. Waited to 6 days to water again and she seems to be liking less water and less nutes. Same amount as last time When i had the tent at around 45-50% power the temp was 69-70 and ive turned the lights up about 80% and temp is bouncing around a from 78-79. 48-52% humidity during the day 42-46% at night i should be able to maintain that in the next few days. Ive read that you dont really want them to get higher than 70 when theyre in flower but but they havent showing any pistols yet so im assuming i have some more time. Theyre looking great so i high hopes! Dec. 7- Loving the tent. Shes filling in nice already Lush green, she looks taller but my tape measure says she isnt. Shes showing some bud sites so im relieved shes showing some progress Opened a window and put the drivers out the tent to help with the heat issue. Seemed to help Temp avg. is around 73-75 during day time 67 steady at night. Hopefully i can maintain that because its the close im gonna get to perfect temps until i get the inline.

Well I decided I had to pull the plug on this girl with all the weird weather we've been having. I've been pulling yellowing fan leaves off her for a couple weeks now and with our 2nd heat wave and all the smoke & ash thrown in for bad measure... it's been truly weird. Yesterday was a day for the record books around here - it was so dark I could tell my pets were spooked. Even they knew it wasn't supposed to be this dark in daytime. Probably how animals react to things like a solar eclipse. If they haven't got somebody nearby to reassure them of some sense of normal - the alarm bells start going off. I hadn't really gotten the impression this girl was all that fragrant during the flowering process UNTIL I was washing all that ash off her this morning - then I was like - WOW this stiff is pretty intense in the nose. One thing I'm pretty sure of is that the sun ain't coming out for a couple more days the ways the smoke be flowing around here. We'll see. Two more plants on the patio but they aren't far behind. September 13 >> Debudded the Widow late this afternoon to make space in my shed to harvest Jack Herer in the morning. She was still a little moist as I harvested her 3 days ago - but it hasn't been that hot. The smoke is still hiding the sun and the atmosphere is labeled "unhealthy". Hung her up in my front bedroom to finish the drying process. I should note the passing of reggae giant (many say inventor) Toots Hibbert, of Toots and the Maytals last Friday. I went looking for some pics of the last show I saw him at and coincidentally it turned out to be one year ago today, September 13, 2019 at the Independant in San Francisco. I was lucky to have seem him a few times. So I uploaded about 30 seconds worth of Pressure Drop from that show. RIP Buddy. 😪 ====================================================== September 21 >> Finished hand trimming the Widow yesterday while mostly listening to the last round of the US Open. In September... while they're playing Stanley Cup playoffs too. Very weird time.... both these things normally happen in June every year. The buds weighed in at basically 8 ounces (227 grams). The trim came in at 325 grams - and in this case I use the Trimbag - although I don't think she was really dry enough to get proper function outa the bag. I still spent over 6 hours hand trimming the remainder AFTER the Trimbag in this case. It wasn't really a problem because I had like 10 hours of US Open coverage for 4 days to burn thru. In the process of turning all that trim into hash at the moment... because I'm all configured to go at the moment after making Wonder Pie hash last week. I'll stick it in the garage to dry for a few days and add the weights later. One thing I've noticed that's probably pandemic-related is 90% isopropyl alcohol has become very hard to find (haven't had to look for like 6 months because I had a couple bottles that lasted). I've used it to clean my glass bong/dab rigs for years. 70% is there - but even that now it's like you have to ask for it. We're moving right along on this grow! Buds are really filling out and they are covered in resin. The smell is of sweet candy and grapes. Can definetly tell she's going to be pungent! Still water every other day or so ph'd 6.8 to 6.5. Completely stopped feeding 2 weeks ago. So going with a 5 week flush before harvest. Again, I went all organic. As you can see the fan leaves are beginning to yellow as well and I went ahead and raised the light just incase they are getting some light burn. Thanks for tuning in🤙

7/11 - Top dressed all with Foundation Grow, Foundation Uprising, Oregonism XL, and Nitro Bat Guano. Watered w/ RO water & Extreme Serene. They are looking great. 7/12 - Fed with liquid nutrients today followed by some selective defoliation. Also adjusted the LST and added a little coco mulch. 7/14 - Watered with plain RO water and added Mosquito bits for pest prevention. Also did a foliar spray of Ancient Amber. They look very happy and healthy.

Wedding glue from @fastbuds is flowering along nice an stacking up the trichromes as the gelato from @herbies is comming along a little slower as i feel like the gelato has a longer veg cycle by a week or 2 but shes comming along beautiful just like last time i grew her

Little bit of defoliation today just to allow light to hit as much as possible,.. day 21 from breaking soil, all look healthy, started a proper nutrient feed today also, still toying with the idea of topping or just some lst, not sure yet, will see how they look next week,.. stay tuned 😀

La planta sigue ramificando e inicia la pre floración, se prepara para dar el último estiron. Mientras tanto yo le cambié el fotoperiodo a 20/4 y le agregué un foco de sodio de 400w a los 200w de cfl que ya tenía en vegetación. Volví a ajustar el lst creo que por última vez antes de dejarlas ser hasta el final. Riego cada 4 días aproximadamente con 2L de agua estacionada con ph entre 6.2 y 6.4. Ayer le tocó agua pura y en cuanto me pida más le daré un poquito de extracto de algas de top crop. Big one y top auto en muy bajas dosis, pues la planta no ha mostrado signos de deficiencia alguna.. Hice un riego foliar con aceite de Neem, extracto de canela y jabón potásico a modo preventivo. Ha respondido bien a la nueva luz, la distancia entre el sodio y la copa es de 60cm, iré acortando más adelante 10cm más si la temperatura me lo permite, La sigo!
