Day 70- Switched to plain ph’d water mid-week, they have now had 2 waterings with plain water. Probably going to be 2 more in the upcoming week. Did a big defoliation mostly to help ease the final trim when it comes, but to also allow for a little more trichome development as she uses up the remaining nutrients. It’s been a much cooler week so I have been gradually increasing the light intensity to get a final push for some weight. Running at about 95% intensity at the moment with the tent hovering around 79-81 degrees freedom units. Checking trichomes daily with my 30x jewellers loupe, mostly cloudy now, some amber popping up, but mostly on the leaves. I’m watching my other strain as well, hoping the timing will be right for both to come down. I’m not in a rush, really want to maximize these buds, they are already very hard, and they will be decent producers.

Another week complete. As usual pH problems and accompanying nutrient deficiencies. Keeps swings up every 12hrs. Flowers are stacking in size now. Fingers crossed I can make it to the end. Added final part nutrient today, heading into week 8. 1st indoor, 1st auto.

New update for week 12, concluding week 8 of flowering: Hi(gh) Folks! Thanks everyone for your input on my second grow question. I’m going for HighTV’s answer, the SOG with 9x4 main buds. Very nice to get everyone’s input on this, appreciate it! So another week done! They got their last nutrients Tuesday and on Thursday the 5 early ladies from Hempire got their first round of plain acidulated water. I flushed them a bit on Friday and Saturday to. Now they can dry out for a couple of days. I will flush them for the upcoming week and let them dry out before harvest next weekend. Im counting on them to swell up even further during this week. As for the rest of the 4 plants from Hempire, 4 from Royal Queen Seeds and 3 from Hy-Seeds, I will treat them as if this is another week 8, and they will get another dose of Flowering nutrients and PK. Then next week I will start to flush them also. I will have 2 full weeks to flush and let them dry out until my planned harvest on Saturday 5 January. I’m not even sure that will be early enough for the 4 RQS’s since they look like they have even more bud-growing to do, before they can start swelling! I will keep an eye on that. The 5 tall ladies, 2 from Hempire and 3 from Hy-Seeds show the nice thick Kushy buds i’m craving for, can’t wait to see the becoming nice and heavy! On the photos you see the slight diverence between the pheno’s, the left 2 plants grew the popcorn-buds on a stem, and the right ones have nice thick popcornbuds against the stem’s. The other to remaining Hempire plants also show these, apart from the early ladies offcourse. The early birds show a little stretching buds and nice purple colours. Looking forward to this ❤️ This strain has been a favourite of mine for years. 34 street seeds have been consistent, and have great germination rates in my experiences. I picked one seed, soaked in water with a splash of hydrogen peroxide for 6 hours and then planted directly into the starter pot. 36 hours later we had a sprout. Lots of humidity, trying to keep it in the 70’s and the temp has been steady at 77 degrees as the lights are being kept on for 24 hours for the time being. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Day 50 - Checked PPM 1,030. Added 10 mL of CalMag Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 5 mL of Big Bud Sensizym Bud Candy Nirvana Rhino Skin and B-52. PPM is 1,550. Plant is 51 inches. Raised the light to its highest position. Tons of bud production. Day 51 - Checked PPM 1,590. PPM went up so i diluted with RO water. PPM is now 835. Plant is 52 inches tall. Leaves are getting glossy colored and sticky. Day 52 - Checked PPM 1,560. Diluted again with RO water. PPM is 725. Bud production scaled up. Green mass forming between white hairs and sugar leaves. The stock reminds me of the body of a lizard. Plant is 54 inches tall. Day 53 - Checked PPM 1,130. Added RO water. PPM is 650. Added 10 mL of CalMag Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 5 mL of Big Bud Sensizym Bud Candy Nirvana Rhino Skin and B-52. PPM is 1,620. Plant is 55 inches tall. Tons of white hairs. Bud production everywhere. The mylar emergency blanket allows the light to penetrate deep and low into the plant. Day 56 - Water nearly gone. Added 2 gallons of RO water. Added 20 mL of CalMag Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 10 mL of Big Bud Sensizym Bud Candy Nirvana Rhino Skin and B-52. PPM is 1,690. I can see trichome production (frosty buds and sugar leaves). The hairs are still white. Light is 2 inches above plant. Light is nearly against the ceiling. It stays this way til harvest.

Transplanted the seedlings to 17l pots, the ak-47 showed she was a male so I killed her

Well that was a special day, it always make me sad in a way, but this time, I enjoyed the moment a lot. As I wrote in a reply to a comment, things can always be better, and they are with good decisions at the right time. These are the smallest and the biggesr plant, one seed didn't germenated and that's why I had to put a Red Gorilla. Not sure I will try a main mlinning on auto flowering strains any more.... but I think I did it wrong, first I took the one that seemed less strong for the experiment, and having 2 other plants to compete for lights. FIM is definetly a technique I will reuse if needed. It's so nice to have these genetic contrasts, colors, aromas, shapes. Many thanks for all the help you gave, precious. 19/04/2024 lower popcorn buds seems dried already! But still branches don't crack on bends. Will check again on Monday. I finally have received, lately a portable microscope, will be more ususeful next year! But this confirms that lower buds might have need more maturity but did the choice to not over complicate by harvesting in 2 times, my indoor tent is also my drying tent, and I wouldn't have any other place to dry the upper buds separetly while allowing the remaining to harvvest with more maturity. In general I think I might have began the Final part too early. BTW, we smoked the popcorn bud, and it's very promissing, we liked it.

My three grow runs went great overall — except for the extreme heat. The new tent and accessories from Spider Farmer performed really well. Hesi nutrients were excellent, and the Biobizz soil was fantastic

d39 ya no me caben dentro del Indoor, debajo del foco pequeño que tengo. Todavía se espera lluvia para la semana que viene, pero no caben y temo que alguna se ponga a florar por estrés, entonces las sacaré al exterior y las aclimataré. d40 Las he sacado a exterior , no les da mucho el sol, están a media sobra, esperemos que no se pongan a florar debido al cambio de fotoperiodo, son menos horas que en el Indoor, podía pasar, lo bueno es que las hemos sacado y ahora cada día están aumentando las horas de luz, mas o menos cada día tenemos 2 minutos más de sol, uno por la mañana y otro por la noche, amanece antes y se va más tarde poco a poco, si se adaptan bien, van a crecer mucho, pero si se ponen a floración veremos que hacemos, esperemos que no pase. Se le han puesto unas piedras para que se aguante la maceta, es de 2LT y con que haga viento la maceta se va al suelo y no queremos que pase eso. También se ha quitado el primer par de nodos LBP(Lower Branch Pruning), que normalmente salen ramas que no llegan a ser gran cosa. Se han quemado del sol, se ve que les da directo y no lo han soportado y se han secado, la tierra esta bastante seca al igual que muchas hojas, por suerte me he dado cuenta al cabo de unas horas, no esperaba que el sol ya pegase tan fuerte, las he cambiado de sitio y se han puesto donde no da el sol directo en ningún momento del día y están solamente a la sombra. Se han regado con un poquito de agua para que se recuperen, les he puesto una maceta más grande por fuera para que si diese el sol, que no le de a la maceta de dentro(2L) que es más pequeña y se calientan las raíces. d42 Se han regado y añadido aminoácidos(más Pro XXL 42% Aminoácidos) ya que eso ayudará a que la planta se recupere, por la tarde-noche les da el sol, no hay otro sitio que le de menos el sol directo, se han secado un pelín más la hojas, pero los brotes nuevos están blanditos y parece que las plantas seguirán creciendo bien.

All theses photos are of going on end of week 6 of total life for these plants , it says we are getting close to the end of this paticular cultivars grow cycle but we will take it all the way till trichomes are milky ,amber to a ratio of my liking. They were stunted , I shouldn’t have transplanted them just started them off with a drip system in the autopot - pots ! But they are growing good. That is nearly trichome production on my number 3 girl. Will continue to post updates with better info. I’m rushing today, peace out

She is now picking up the pace. Struggled to keep up with watering. She is taking 5 litres per day in a 3.8 litre pot. Buds are getting bigger and overall she is doing well. Not much smell yet.
