In the beginning of the week I removed the fan leaves to get more light into the middle of the plant. I did some lst to spread out the tops a little more and injured the one of the sidearms, but nothing disastrous. The growth in general crazy at the moment and I am planning to switch to 12/12 tomorrow. Not sure if it's the right time, but I have no experience in this tent and the radical juice should stretch a fair bit, so it's probably fine. As always the last picture was taken on the last day of week 4.

Day 43 since seed touched soil. Hard week past. Those long not drinking days when cycle was taking 8 days to dry out made damage, i still see magnesium, but now added some rusty spots and i cant understand is it calcium or my spraying of Leaf Coat and burn. No spray this week, will check if new will appear. Because of troubles i postponed flip and top up till next watering. It should be in 4-5 days. Done huge clearing, a lot new ties added. 3.5 liters of 6.3 phed dechlorinated water went in after training. Twins grow okeish, but i see some damage on them too, canopy forms very nicely tho, thin, but very well spaced. Planning to create scrog this week too. Mars Hydro TSL2000 is on 70% output, thinking to increase it with flip to 75. Light is working fine , really covers all space , great affordable light for colder climate. Day 45. Girls recovered from training very nice ! In few days flip . Day 47. Girls got top up. Put first level of scrog. Flipped to 12/12, tent is rammed ;) light output on 75%, 4 liters of 6.3 phed water went in. Top up was dosed, mixed well and laid on top, then i rough and mix top lair of soil with top up and only then i water. All pots are 30 litres ( grams and ml , have in mind ) : Ecothrive - Biosys - 5 ml / pot Ecotrive - Charge - 120 ml / pot Ecothrive - Life Cycle - 60 g. / pot Ecothrive - Bio Blend - 200 ml / pot. Think this will be my standart top up, i run out of Great White, have for one top up, will do it in 2-3 waterings seperately from all. Planning to repeat same top up at begining of week 4 of flower. Girls look better without spraying, most prob burn from too intense light, despite me giving 30-60 min of reduced to minimum after spraying. From now on - only when lights off. finishing week 3 of stretch. Plants started to look pale, unclear if it was leaving the rez on too much vs. just hungry for higher EC. Towards end of week pulled them out of the trays and put drip trays in to give them a top-feed with generous runoff + some recharge. Pics of that are more in next week's photos.

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. This is true of seed starts or clones made from seed starts. The opposite is not always true; indoor clones often give an outdoor grower headaches because they don't always make the transition smoothly. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. Pues la catastrofe pasó. Usé una bomba de descarga (un spray de esos que apretad y tira todo) que en teoria es compatible con las plantas dentro.... Se lío, ya se ve en las fotos y video que muuuuuchas hojas han reaccionado, fitotoxicidad y capúm. En fin, el cultivo lo voy a terminar, se salva mucha cosecha, en principio, pero eso. Fuera de aquello, la planta sigue tirando muucha resina, engordando el cogollo y oliendo muuuuy fuerte a gas y frutas.

Hi to everyone who watches Report. The ninth week of flowering began there. Blueberries look and smell. Deliciously. Follow the advice of the master. I decided not to radically remove the leaves and I removed only the largest ones. I prepare the plants for the log house so I stop using mineral water for a while

This week went pretty well, other than she stretched like crazy and I am now getting worried about running out of vertical space. I also had a few of my bottom leaves get a few brown and yellow spots on them. I did post some pics and asked a question, thank you for the responses, much appreciated! I am thinking about adding my Spyder Farmer LED 100 Watt light into the tent for the nebula auto because it is about 23 inches shorter than the sour diesel. I believe it would only raise my temp about 2 degrees, and possibly lower the humidity by one or two percent. I must say my dehumidifier has been a freaking stud, running 24X7 and not complaining. I should look into adding another unit, it has been in the mid 90's and muggy for about a week. So far I have to say I am super impressed and excited with this setup, the genetics, and with growing this wonderful plant in general. Already planning ahead to my next grow, and what I can do better. I have been enjoying myself and I really appreciate everyone who has taken the time to answer my questions! I am having a blast and am excited to see what this lady will give up in a few weeks!

21/03 - la semilla estuvo hidratada en un vaso con agua por 24hs. 22/03 - la puse a germinar en papel humedo. 26/03 - Ya brotó y la introduje dentro de una maceta pequeña. 29/03 - Ya brotó. Por el momento se encuentra perfecta sin ningún problema. Tiene 15 días de vida desde que la puse a germinar. En la segunda semana de vida ya le empecé agregar un poco de agua con fertilizante. 0.5ml por 1L de agua. Durante la semana estuve regando un poco con eso.

Day 28 veg:I see ladies on the horizon!!!!!! Well folks ,that went quickly i think , already moving into the flowering of these impressive Exotic seed girls. They have not missed a beat from planting and have been really easy to work with so far. The #1 has now got her 7 mains all fighting for dominance thanks to the 5th node playing ball and staying low from the ties. I like the results of this method in the other autos I have run so thought it would be a good test with comparing to topping ,fimming the others. #2 is also starting flowering, I fimmed her but I don't think i hit the sweet spot so she looks more topped. I do notice she looks more stretched than the other 2 in flower and wonder if its the topping /failed fim.?. #3 is doing great with her fimmed top and I hit her just right with it. She has plenty of mains hopefuls fighting to the canopy too so she should be a great comparison for methods with the others. #4 having been a slow starter , is not showing her sex yet but I fimmed her and will allow her to catch up in her own time. They all look so healthy and happy in their medium too . only being watered when the pots are light and no added feed at all. lets see how flowering uses the available food in it. excellent experience with these so far. No signs of any issues so far. stay healthy and happy growmies

Week 25 overall, corresponding to week 3 of flowering for the Pineapple Upside Down. Flowering has now clearly declared itself. Bud sites are visible everywhere, with consistent pom-pom formation across the canopy. Despite being at a relatively early stage of bloom, terpene expression is already strong. Upon opening the tent, a distinct pineapple aroma is noticeable, which is very encouraging for such an early phase. Vegetatively, the plant will not recover its original leaf coloration. This is accepted at this point. However, flower development appears to be on track, and the plant is allocating energy toward reproductive growth rather than foliage recovery. A light defoliation was performed, along with the removal of lower, non-productive flower sites. This cleanup aims to avoid wasting energy on underdeveloped buds and to focus resources on the upper canopy. A fresh flowering nutrient solution was prepared. PK has been introduced lightly, in accordance with the Athena feeding schedule for week 3 of flowering. Electrical conductivity is set around 2.1 EC, with a target pH close to 6.0 to ensure stable nutrient uptake. Light intensity will be increased progressively, with PPFD moving toward approximately 600 to support proper bud development and flower density. Although the foliage remains visually poor, flower formation, structure, and aroma remain the key indicators at this stage. Given the short flowering time of this cultivar (around 45 days), timing is critical, and the next weeks will be decisive. The focus going forward will be on stability, controlled feeding, and optimized light management to extract the best possible outcome from this cycle.

Dont you love when you have a flat canopy with 4 plants. So we are half way threw week 2. Not much to report they definitely aren't stretching much. Wish I let them grow a bit more. They all bounced back after the stripping before rhe flip. Especially the Fasr Buds plant they are thriving which makes me excited to run some of their other photo periods

End of week 2, veg. This little lady is finally catching up to the others in the tent. She has a typical sativa look to her for being so young, which is cool. After doing this for so long you kinda get a feel for seedlings. We watered with alfalfa Ferment as usual and these girls are in love lol. Seriously though, this stuff cuts my veg time in almost half! Highly recommend. Not much else to report on, just taking it day by day. Thanks for stopping by and we'll see ya next week.

She's starting to pre flower now. Doing fantastic! She is stretching hard and all those tiny side branches are shooting up like crazy. I hope this one will make it through September, because she would yield a crazy amount 😁

Week 5 of veg: the structure is really coming together, with strong lateral growth and a thick main stem already forming multiple future colas. Did a bit of selective defoliation to open up the canopy and let the lower branches catch up — the plant bounced back immediately and looks extremely vigorous.
