🌱 Skywalker OG — Week 3 VEG Report 12/12 from seed | Vegetative phase ongoing General Overview Week 3 of vegetative growth ends with Skywalker OG performing exceptionally well. Both plants are growing in near-perfect sync, once again showing that environmental consistency is doing the heavy lifting here. Despite being grown in different containers (plastic pots vs Pro-Mix bags), there is no visible difference in growth rate, structure, or vigor. Rhythm, height, and development remain aligned — true twins in motion. Growth this week has been fast, confident, and clean. Growth & Structure • Stage: Vegetative • Flowering signs: None observed • Node count: ~6 nodes • Growth habit: Compact, fast, very controlled • Internodal spacing: Tight • Leaf development: Large fan leaves, dominant canopy At this stage, Skywalker OG is clearly prioritizing leaf mass and photosynthetic surface over branch elongation. Branches are present but still relatively short compared to leaf size — a classic sign of a plant building energy reserves before structural expansion. There are a few funky leaf expressions here and there — small personality traits rather than problems. Nothing concerning, nothing progressive, and nothing that requires correction. No training has been applied so far. ⸻ Container Comparison — Pot vs Pro-Mix Bag An important observation this week: There is no meaningful difference in growth between the plastic pot and the Pro-Mix bag. Both plants: • Grow at the same pace • Maintain similar height • Express similar leaf size and color This reinforces that, at this stage, root environment is equally supportive in both setups under these conditions. ⸻ Training Outlook While no training has been done yet, Week 3 observations suggest that training may begin next week to encourage lower branch development. The idea is not to force growth, but to: • Balance canopy dominance • Promote lower branch exposure • Prepare structure early and gently For now, observation continues. ⸻ 📸 Photo & Video Documentation This week includes both photos and a short video captured during the photo session. During the session, content from My Cheap Home Grow was playing in the background — a YouTube channel focused on home growing, sharing practical experience, open discussion, and solid grow knowledge. It’s a great resource with: • Passionate growers • Real-world setups • Honest learning environments If you’re into growing and learning from others, it’s definitely worth checking out. https://www.youtube.com/@cheaphomegrow7096 ⸻ Environment — Room Conditions (Week 3) • Photoperiod: 12/12 from seed • Day temperature: ~26 °C • Night temperature: ~18 °C • Relative Humidity: 60–65% • VPD: In optimal vegetative range • Airflow: Gentle, constant, non-stressful • Solution temperature: ~21 °C • Substrate temperature: ~21 °C Environmental stability remains consistent across the room. ⸻ 💡 Lighting • PPFD: ~600–700 (adjusted to plant size) • Plants continue to grow naturally into the light • No stretch, no light stress ⸻ 💧 Watering & Nutrition • pH: 6.0 • EC: 1.0 Nutrient program: • Plagron Terra Grow • Power Roots • Pure Zym • Sugar Royal Foliar: • Vita Race • Used selectively and intentionally Nutrition continues to support strong vegetative growth, lush color, and clean metabolism. ⸻ 🔍 What to Expect / What Not to Expect (Next Week) What to expect: • Continued vegetative expansion • Larger fan leaves • Potential start of gentle training • Increased lower-branch response once canopy opens What not to expect (yet): • No flowering initiation • No stretch explosion • No need to increase EC or push inputs Patience and observation remain the focus. ⸻ Final Thoughts Skywalker OG closes Week 3 as fast, lush, and confident. Tight internodes, big leaves, and twin-like behavior across different containers confirm that conditions are dialed in and the plants are comfortable. No rush. No force. Just strong foundations being built. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. 8/5 -Fed both plants with bloom nutrient solution. Lowered the concentration of nutrients by 1 mL/gal--14 mL/gal seemed to be too concentrated. -Cream Cookies is just exploding with growth. As she gets older she's getting much less sensitive to things like watering--super healthy looking. -Ca deficiency spots have not worsened or spread which is exactly what I was looking to see. Last week I raised the pH of the nutrient solution to 6.25 immediately after seeing those deficiency spots--nutrient solution pH was too low and consequently locked out calcium. Fixed the issue and the plants are doing amazing. -Cheese has seemed to stopped explosive vertical growth and instead focusing on flowering. Going to do some more defoliation this week to bring the light down under the canopy. -Cream Cookies canopy was beginning to become uneven with respects to even height-some heavy LST was done on all of the nodes (>10) to again even out the canopy height. Cream cookies is going to go through its second stretch very soon. 8/6 -Cream Cookies is going through a hardcore stretch. Going to do some LST once the super stretching subsides. -Cookies is filling out and I have a feeling is going to go through another stretch soon. -Plants still look extremely healthy--really amazing how hearty these plants are. -The time lapse videos I've been making have been hugely helpful in identifying patterns in the plants' growth. It helps me identify when any drooping is just part of the normal day/night cycle of the plant. Its also really cool to see how it grows over time. -Fed both plants with 500mL nutrient solution 8/7 -Both plants responded to the most recent watering extremely well. The droop was no where near as substantial as past feedings. Makes me feel confident in nutrient solution concentration. Im not going to increase concentration of nutrient solution past 13 mL/gal. -LST done on Cream Cookies--some nodes were stretching and creating an uneven canopy. LST done to even out the canopy. -Defoliation and LST done on Cheese. Defoliation was done to allow for some light to penetrate the canopy and get to the lower bud sites. 8/9 -Both plants continue to absolutely thrive. They are both doing amazing. Great color. No issues so far. They are loving the nutrients, as am i. -Cream cookies is really really wanting to stretch to the stars right now which is kind of annoying since it makes making a even canopy rather difficult. -LST done on Cream cookies to even out the canopy. Pretty extreme LST--branches bent almost 90 degrees. -Cheese is a slow but steady grower. Seems to be focusing a lot on undergrowth rather than stretching which is good. Im hoping the main cola branches will be evenly distributed. -Cream cookies looks to have around 10 main cola nodes now. FIMing created 4 and LST brought the undergrowth nodes to the canopy. So very extremely happy with the FIM method. I personally don't even consider it a "High-Stress" training. Sure you cut the main stalk of the plant but its not like you are damaging the roots. Just new growth. ITs like a scrape for the plant, it just slaps a bandaid on and focuses on other growth instead. Super efficient training method. -Ive been doing defoliation around once a week to keep some breaks in the canopy to get light down into those node sites under the top of the main cola branches. -Cream cookies is around 2 inches taller than Cheese is with the evened out canopy which might become a problem as I continue to raise the lamp. Cream cookies is really stretching. 8/10 -Plants look amazing as always -Cheese raised 3' and put on "stilts" -Lamp raised back to 18 inches. -Both plants watered with 500mL nutrient solution -Cream cookies canopy FINALLY evened out. -Cheese LST evened the canopy out very well. Very happy with results.

420FASTBUDS FBT2107 WEEK 8 The two of these girls are growing amazing. One definitely is much larger than the other but both appear happy & healthy. I decided to do some LST training on them to allow more light to the lower flower sites. So far it looks like they're enjoying it and bounced back without skipping a beat. I did back off on the feeding of nutes since I started seeing crispy edges on my leafs and since then doesn't look lime it's got worse so back on track. Happy Growing

Second week of nutes given on Saturday nice bit of growth from the plants really stretching n reaching out now soaking up as much light as they can quite a few deficiencies showing been giving 1ml calmag ontop of the nutes on the bottle per litre of water , very cramped 1 plant taken out the tent to create abit of space currently 45 in there 2.4m x 2.4m would only recommend putting 36/38 plants it top capacity in 7/9 litre pots

02/01/18 - Week 7 / Day 38 Added PK 13/14 last week as per the CANNA COCO schedule I've been following for this grow - the buds look a little more plump and I cant wait to see what the next few weeks have in store. The smell is amazing - sweet and citrusy, with a candy aroma. There is great variation in the smell of the resins from the 4 GZ plants - one of them smells like a sweet tangerine while others smell less citrusy and more sharp/pine smelling. There doesn't seem to be much of a variation in phenotype, one has a great inter-nodal distance and the other three look about the same in terms of stature. Two look identical in the shapes of their bud, one has very GG4 looking buds and the last one has the least developed buds. I think this is because it has the most lateral growth and multiple bud sites which cant get the light from the canopy - I got a little greedy and didn't want to trim these away when defoliating early flower but I looking back I regret not doing that as the other three (which didn't have nearly as many smaller side branches) are doing excellently. Alternatively, this plant could just be a couple days behind lol. More updates on 8th. Happy New Year!

Harvested on day 88. The plant had a really strong smell, and I ran into some issues during drying because the temperature dropped, and humidity went up a lot. It dried over 16 days, turned out nice and dense, and kept its sweet, citrusy aroma.
