Aug 3: still going strong starting the third week of flowering. I’m putting her in the garage at 9 pm, doing the 730 nm far red light to put plant into dark mode 2 h faster, and then out of garage at 7 am. So 10+ 2 h is 12 h dark and 14 h daylight or a 26 h day. The far red light definitely works as a bloom booster and helps the plants finish faster when the sun is stronger. Did morning foliar spray of Extreme Blend and potassium silicate. Aug 4: always some defoliation to be done and I took out all the small stuff that was growing into the centre. If I had a longer season I could have left some of these small branches but I want the energy directed toward the prime bud sites. Also removing leaves makes it more stable in the wind. Yet another growing trade-off. Aug 5: she looks great coming out of the dark garage this morning. Lots of colas with lots of buds 👍👍 Aug 6: added UV lights from AC Infinity. This far north we run out of strong sunlight before it gets too cold in the fall. By adding UV lights, this will make Edmonton in September seem like California in July. Along with genetics, UV light is the main factor controlling trichome and THC production. Adding UV light for a couple of hours per day centred at peak sun (currently 1:39 pm) should help a lot this far north. At the other end of the light spectrum, I use Forever Green Indoor (FGI) 730 nm far red light. This is the third season using the far red light as a bloom booster and it definitely works. A few seconds at dusk is all it takes to put the plant into dark mode two hours faster, and is like getting a 26 h day. Bud ripen earlier and therefore under stronger sun. Both of these lights are low power LED used for a few hours (UV) or just a few seconds (far red). Gotta love science and technology when it allows us to figure this kind of out.

Seed came from bud I bought from CoCo Farms in nor cal. Normally I buy seeds. But took a chance that it was self feminized pollen. It was. ( I've had 100% success with that same scenario 6 other times ) No Hermi affect. Came out better than the bud I got it from.

1st week of flower went well. Only fed tap water every 2 days as needed. Kept an eye on the temps n humidity level to keep it between 60°-80° n 40%- 60%. Lowered the lights to 10" from tops to increase light intensity during flowering. Had some good growth this week. No issues so far easy grow. Couple of weeks togo . Will update next week on the organic grow.

These are the seeds from my auto breeding project earlier this year. That diary link can be found here: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/129779-grow-journal-by-m0use Germinated by scarification of the seed with an emery board then soaking in water for 12hrs, I added in the step of paper towel for another 12hrs then planted outside with Dynomyco in the hole. Watered in with some LABS "Lactic Acid Bacteria Serum [Lactobacillus]" and Transplanter MS-CS RootRescue. They all popped up within a few days after planting outside. They are in a heavy soil and should not need much love outside of a fertilization every month. I ran out of mesh to protect them so bamboo spikes will keep the birds at bay... hopefully. I also have a twin setup of these seeds but in a bucket fortified with acti-sol, they will be running side by side for comparison.

Last week of feed for this lady :) Update end of week nine , Well the bud production this week has been absolutely crazy , She has now slowed right down on her feeding too , so the flush begins , she still needs too cloud up and go amber but she will have enough nutrients in her and the soil too last her until she ripens , she really has been a joy too watch grow and develop , I would not think twice about growing this strain ,

Plant is doing amazing! This is my first grow & I am so excited , I’m in the process of practicing LST , I am not the best but you learn as you go! Let me know what you all think! She seems healthy to me

Well week 1 of flower first day 12.12 light schedule finally figured out how to make changes to heights and nutes on this sites diary, starts todayran into a slight problem with the jack herer seeds they had a rare over growth of inner follisge that developed after topping and within 4 days before going into today week 1 of flower to remove scrog net and re prune they seemed to react differently than other breeders same strain but no big deal cut netting off to avoid damaging during end of veg before plants Garrett to tall which I have the room for just not the extra time it would of taken so we are starting flower and will just grow wall to wall in this 48x48x80 tent

Der PH wert von meiner Abfluss flüssigkeit lag bei unter 5.0 und der EC wert war üder 3.6 Nach 3-4 litern wasser PH 7,5 und Canna flush liegt der PH wert bei 5,5 und es sind noch 400ppm im abfliessenden Wasser. Nach 6 litern wasser Ph 7,5 Hat das abfliessende Wasser einen Ph wert von 6 und noch 250ppm

Alles hat nun mal eine Ende, nächstes Mal bin ich hoffentlich schlauer und mach langsamer mim Düngen. Zum Strain generell kann ich nur sagen, sehr süßer Duft mit einer kleinen Note von Alten Möbeln :). Hätte sie sicher noch 1 Woche stehen lassen können hatte aber Angst zwecks der hohen Temperaturen. Jetzt wird erstmal getrocknet!!! Rauchbericht kommt in ca 4 Wochen.

There are again three different Autoflowering strains at the Farm: Cherry Pie Auto, Purple Lemonade Auto and one of the legendary strains White Widow Auto. This journal will be dedicated to the Cherry Pie Automatic. To begin with, I will write a few words about Cherry Pie Auto itself. Cherry Pie Auto has an impressive family tree. As the autoflowering version of the terpene-packed Cherry Pie, this strain has close links to both Granddaddy Purple and Durban Poison. These ancestors occupy opposite ends of the indica-sativa spectrum, meaning Cherry Pie Auto features a balanced genetic profile. The zingy and cerebral qualities of Durban Poison—a pure South African sativa—and the fruity terpenes of Granddaddy Purple both shine through in their fast-growing successor. This time I decided on 11 lit. fabric pots, my dear friends at RQS sent me these nice pots and it's not like this is my first time using them. They are great to handle and prevent me from over watering the plants. For soil, I use BioBizz's Light Mix, mixed with Easy Boost organic nutrition in the form of pellets. I put 50g of pellets on the 11 liter pot. After that I put Seeaweed, 1g/lit and finally Mycorrhiza Mix which I put 5g/lit. After that, I mixed the soil in the pot well and soaked it with water. I put Seed Booster in the water, a new product from the rich range of organic nutrients from RQS. I made a hole in the middle of a few centimeters and put a seed inside. I did the same with the other two strains and after that I put them in the grow box. 20/07/2024 In the morning I sprinkled the surface of the soil with water, not too much, and by the end of the day all three plants had sprouted. 21/07/2024 I watered the plants, I gave each approximately 1 liter of water to which I added Seed Booster again. Before that, I photographed the plants. 23/07/2024 Watering. I repeated the same procedure as two days earlier. That's all from me for now, I'm looking forward to a new trip as always. See you soon.
