A more difficult week. I've been battling the water consumption on two of the girls. I ordered and hooked up the Blumats auto watering system. I followed the instructions to a T but they don't work on those settings for this type of plant. They must be recommending for succulents cause the girls dried out right away with the settings. So I've been slowing dialing it in the get the proper amount to release. This girl is doing fine with the water. Prolly because she was stunted and doesn't need as much. DAY 28 flowering: Hi all Hope we are all fine and dandy in the grow diaries world this week. It has been a steady week this week with the ladies now focusing purely on bud site development . The only lady not really thriving is the smaller Mexican airline #1. It does seem she will be all plant and very little yield at this point but we will see it through. She isn't poor by any means but I do think she will have a inferiority complex within these beauties. Heehee Thankfully the other five ladies are powering on and producing some potential big bud sites. The stars of the grow are the Strawberry pie girls. These plants are huge and very, very productive . The lowers are developing some nice bud sites that in themselves look like beasts developing. They have really dense looking flowers that will no doubt become thick and possibly need some support on the side growth but seeing the stem strengths , they may be ahead of that issue themselves already. A perfect strain for an outside run for sure and with no training beside the tip spreading , they have easily now reached approx 4ft tall. The buds start really low on each limb with some node spacing initially large but the growing tips and main stem have a more stacked up bud appearance forming. I think they could possibly top my personal best for the autos at this rate. Both have about the same structure and bud building so I would hazard the same phenotype too. This is the second time I have grown this strain and the last one was very similar too. Very stable and should give some top notch nugs out. Six Shooter #1 is only slightly smaller than the Strawberry pie and has just as many productive side branches that want to show off too. Her sibling #2 was grown a lot flatter after the tip spreading and seems lost down low in the canopy now. She has a lot of buds tucked away but could easily be overgrown by the mexican#2 and Strawberry Pie #2 , if I am not pro active with her progress. As mentioned earlier, the Mexican airlines are both healthy and happy but the #2 is far more productive than the #1 . I do expect that the #1 will harvest a little after the others and that she may come through in the end. Overall these strains are genetic perfection this run . They have done their own thing with only the tip spreading being my intervention initially , and they have produced 6 perfect looking plants that are clearly different strains . From past experiences with these 3 strains , "The best is yet to come " with the development of their unique looking buds. Here comes some down and dirty bud porn only viewable to the faithful.!!! Sorry guys, cause of noo time this week i was not able to make normal pics. It was last week, so i just defoliated and flush 5days with ph'ed water and a bit of molasse. Last day 24hrs of dark. Cya after trimming and then after curring.

La planta 1 esta recibiendo solo agua. La planta 2 que era la mas débil, ha resultado ser la mas poderosa con muchos cogollos. Por la ansiedad, corte dos florcitas de la planta 1 y han estado muy buenas. Manicure en verde a la planta 1, ver si las flores bajas agarran algo. Ahora a esperar, la planta 1 estará lista esta semana o la próxima.

she's a beast and has grown really tall just hoping the buds will fill out in the next few weeks, I grew this strain a while back but it looked completley different to this and was half the size, maybe that was because it was grown in soil ??

I have build a new lamp holder. Doesn't look reliable, but still strong enough to keep the lamp above the plant. I didn't want to change nutrients ration before I'd a real flowering, but she thinks different, at 4th day I found some sick leaves. Wasn't really sure why was that, I bet for lack of K, so I increased bloom and grow nutrients. And the next day I also decided to add bacterias. Also, since she wasn't growing fast, I bought vitamins (B52) to help her. I could've done it earlier, I just didn't have it at home :D Now, when she entering flowering, she becomes much less flexible and more fragile. So I don't really stretch her anymore, just sorting up some top leaves, so the buds would get more light. Also I continue doing defoliation as before. Idk, what to think, cause I was sure, I'd see some real buds this week, but I didn't. She's switching really slow, and didn't grow as much as I expected. I switched light time from 22/2 to 20/4. Previous time was experimental for me, and now I'm afraid that it might be a problem for slow growing, we'll see how it goes now. But, perhaps, slow growth is consequence of tops, that I've done and now she just needs more time and I shouldn't worry that much. Anyway, she still looks mostly healthy for me. What do you think?

Die dritte Blütewoche hat am letzten Samstag begonnen. Ich hoffe die machen jz nicht mehr all zu viele Meter, mein Zelt ist schon fast nach oben hin zu klein. 10cm ca dürften aber noch locker drinnen sein. Der Geruch ist langsam auch sehr angenehm :))

Seedlings stretched a bit had to put them under the light early. Popped 2 seeds initially with 2 freebies I got, unfortunately the freebies didn't germinate in a week so I tossed them and popped two more Dolatos and all four germinated with 100% success rate. Kept them on a 20/4 schedule watering them only once and sprayed the top soil with a mister every now and again. 👍🏿

12/8 - Here we are at the beginning of week 10. Her buds are starting to frost up and she is definitely bulking up more than her sister, but her sister has a longer projected flowering time-frame (Heavy Sativa vs Indica). Anyways, did some minor pruning for airflow optimization and to remove some unhappy leaves from her undergrowth. They weren't yellow, but they weren't getting enough light and it was showing. Haven't done much to her this week other than top her off with Tap every other day. Seems like her feed from last week was on point as her pH and EC were solid as the water level lowered. After her first top-off, her EC started to fall as she ate more (reflected in the lower ec in the res after topping off with tap). Tapered her down to 80% strength as she is moving further along in flower and should hopefully finish sooner than her sister. If she needs a bump in her EC, I may top off with full strength nutes, but I'm going to just wait and see how she responds. Breeder's timeline reflects a ~65 day seed-to-harvest, but I can assure anyone out there growing this strain in DWC that she will not be ready in that time-frame. Currently she is sitting on day 67 and still looks like she has another 2 weeks or more. I grew her in soil before and she was ready pretty darn close to her expected time-frame (~70 days), but this strain responds to DWC differently. She didn't have slow growth or anything; just seems like she will veg longer in hydro than in soil. Not sure why. Thanks for stopping by the garden, and, as always, Happy Growing!

it grows so fast. The lower leaves are shaded and away from the light. So I cut them as the plant gets taller I really don't have a good setup to be able to clean my roots. I tried this week anyway. I watered each pot with 2L (not enough I think :/) of water at 450PPM PH: 7 then after I gave 1L of water at 900PM PH: 5.5. There was a big puddle in the room afterwards. But it wasn't that hard to clean up after all. 3/23/25 everything looks nice. Shes stretching and has a nice internodal spacing and the pistils are just getting bigger and bigger. Havent been feeding anything. Just watering when dry. I amended the soil with dr earths 394 bud and bloom booster and she seems super healthy and happy right now. Its still crazy to me that these decided to flower with 18/6 lighting. Day 50 from seed and these BCN criticals have a lovely citrus smell. When i open the tent, its the first thing i smell. Theyre all healthy and running. Lights are still on 20/4. Bit of redish/amber hairs showing up. When i loom at other pictures its just the genes of the genetic. I Cant wait to harvest this! Ive started adding more biobizz as it states on the chart. And then i water with normal tap water every 2 days! I will post an update for week 8 next week! One love!
