Flowering Week 22: Buds Emerge & the Great Durban Haircut Update: 10.08.2025 | Day 156 Hey Growmies, Week 22’s got both ladies playing different games – Durban’s diving into bloom while Blueberry’s still stretching like she forgot the season. Durban Poison – Flowering Fireworks She’s all business now – white pistils poppin’ everywhere and buds startin’ to stack. Weird thing? Still barely any smell. Got no clue what this girl’s gonna taste like come harvest. Today’s mission: Giving her the big haircut she needs. Gonna clear out that jungle undercarriage for airflow. Blueberry – The Neverending Stretch This babe’s still shooting up for the sky like a rocket. Almost hit 2.10m now, sproutin’ new shoots at every bud tip like she’s in permanent preflower mode. Almost no pistils visible and a very calm smell. But she's definittely the prettiest green skyscraper in the garden. Wrap up: - Weather’s playing nice – sunshine and breeze mean zero mold nightmares (for now). - Not a single pest in sight – leaves cleaner than my Sunday shoes. - Bokashi juice twice a week keeps ’em glowing. The Runtz auto girls are doing 😊. They have settled in and are fattening and stacking nicely. They are only about 16-18 inches total, but have some nice fat buds, should be some good weight. They are starting to develop some frost, but are very greasy to the touch 🤤 Trying to keep them in a sweet spot so they keep developing. RH around 55-58 % and Temps between 77-80 degrees. They are in week 8 now, and suggested harvest is about 70-75 days… Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️🌱

The grow went amazing started off what was supposed to be a auto GSC strain but didn’t auto flower which is no issue at all so went ahead an let her veg out an get the lst done that i wanted done on her she was showing pistils by week 8 veg letting me know she wanted to flower but some areas had a bit of catching up to do which turned out amazing. Got almost all the branches the same size to produce equivalent bud sizes throughout the whole canopy. During flower stage 2 weeks in started giving her a Pk boost of incredible bulk 1/2tsb per gallon. An did the GSC so good for flower stage she bulk up nice an the trichomes came in heavy. Total wet weight came in at 2.5lb stump was 1.5in circumference. I will update with finish photos an how the smoke was after cure. GSC currently being cured with love 63% Rh at 70 degrees temp. So after 106 days + 11 days drying im finally done with my first grow. Got 97g dry buds + 30g shake Way more then i anticipated. Alot of the buds are pretty airy but the top ones qre pretty solid and all of them have amazing coat of trichomes. Im so greatful i had this experience. I learnt alot and have way more confidence to grow more and my plan was to have my first grow to anwser all the questions i had. Im cant believe i spent less then 300$ on this setup and harvested equals to like 1,500 - 1,700 $ of buds(prices in my country) thats definitely going to help me with the economy situation right now. And all this was stealth inside my closet, i had family members comming and didn't notice nothing i just had to turn off the blower fan since it's the only thing in my setup which isn't stealth. I know i didn't gave her the best conditions but she showed me how strong is a Cannabis plant 😍 Im just starting my 2nd grow - Auto Northen Lights. Stay tuned

Hello Guys, after 36 Hrs got a really good tap roots on Lemoncheollo Haze and Bubba Kush its long too, So just planted them directly to grow medium, Both uses Homemade Compost+Coco Coir +PottingSoil, after plant seeds then I covers them with clear solo cups (which is no need now I know) like after 1 Day I got lucky with LH and BK also showing some sign, Everything is OK yesterday. But in the next morning (Today) i got LH going down and looking Yellow color, quickly I did a another DIY dome with small LED that i got from cheap seedling dome.. Now its almost evening i got more green on the cotyledons, and i covers it with some dirt around. After checking answers from fellow growers, I Immediately took out the Domes and used my P1000 Light using my Phone LUX meter i used 4000 LUX, like less than 25% dimming and the LED is bit in up, Maybe i am wrong there! pls advise ,I also place a mini USB oscillating fan there too I hope i am not bothering you guys.)) Thanks

12 July 2025 Haven't had chance to water this girls 10 days but they still keep going. Impressive Lost the motivation since notice someone else visiting my spot. Not sure how to deal with it. Might chop this girls before finish. Please share your opinions💡

Week 4 begins for Divine storm 1&2, 4 weeks to go! Both ladies are looking good, DS1 is a bit more thirsty then her sister DS2, I'll keep a close eye on her this week and will feed her extra if necessary. Thanks for stopping by 👽🌳💚

Day 200 18/11/24 Monday It's her last day today of light, no more watering. She will then enter 48 HR dark period. Her trichomes have reached a nice amount of amber's, and flooded with cloudy trichomes... The end is so close 🤤😋😂 The smell is intoxicating, sweet pungent guava fruity smell. It's amazing. Seeing her colours fade out on the fans is like watching a sunset. Deep oranges radiating against her red veins, with purple and violet tipped buds, engulfed in trichomes and orange pistils, but she holds a deep dark green underneath in the core of the buds. She is a menace to look at 😈💞 It's been fun to grow this, and I won't lie, trouble free. Easy with nites she took what I gave, next time around I'll be lollipoping a shit load more to encourage them fatter tops 💪💚 Sorry for the shit quality video this week so far, soon as she enters her dark period I'll get some nice flash pics and video tomorrow and upload 🙌💚 Day 201 19/11/24 Tuesday She entered her dark period at 5am this morning. She is still relatively moist so the next 48 hours should be fine to dry off in the dark too. Noticed a couple more mildew spots on leaves, removed these now. Don't want it wasted in the last 2 days 🤦‍♂️😅💚 Next update will be the chop on Thursday. Updated pictures 📸💚 Day 203 21/11/24 Thursday Its finally time 🙌!! She has had 48 hrs of dark and more mildew started to set in so thank goodness I chopped her today!! Have not had time to weigh her yet, but wet trim, and deeper wet trim of sugar leaves affected with mildew have been removed. She is now hanging in tent to dry, with heat mat, and extraction on low. Humidity is 66% and 18'c. Her colours have deepened and her aroma is potent!! Strong sweet floral smell , similar to the perfume 😍 Uploaded pics and a short vid of before the chop. Welcome to Week 1 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Autoflowering grow courtesy of the fine folks at Sweet Seeds! This is the second of three consecutive grows/diaries that I am doing to showcase the tried and tested genetics from this reputable seed breeder. My last grow was a smashing success so I have high hopes for this grow as well. Nothing much to report for Week #1 although I will mention that the first watering was only 0.7 of a litre per plant (0.18 of a litre per plant per day) and the second was 1.4 litres per plant (0.35 of a litre per plant per day). I am watering on my usual schedule of every fourth day as this seems to be the sweet spot throughout past grows. I am using the usual- air bubbled tap water that is PH’d to around 6.0 and if need be (over the winter months in Canada) warmed to 68-70 degrees prior to hand watering with a small watering can. The seedling that lost one of it’s cotyledon leaves is fine but still a little smaller than her sisters. So now on to Mom’s tip of the week… Mom’s Tip for Week #1 is- YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR- QUALITY IS KEY!… When considering growing Cannabis, even on a small scale, quality is an important factor in all aspects from the seeds to set up to the supplies used throughout the grow. Starting with seeds from a established breeder will raise the odds considerably in your favour for a successful outcome. Many seed companies are more than willing to ship out freebies while building up their brands which seems attractive to new growers- but use at your own risk! There’s nothing worse than being halfway through a grow and discovering male flowers tucked in amongst the lowest branches or realizing that your beautiful buds have been mysteriously pollinated just weeks before harvest. I know that seeds from a reputable seed breeder are usually more expensive and can be hard to access in certain parts of the world. But purchasing quality seeds from a reputable seed company is the first step towards homegrown Cannabis success. An area that new growers often overlook due to the high price is the quality of crucial components in their set up- including tent, lights, and intake/exhaust fans. Anyone can get away with cheaper pots, oscillating corner fans, water pumps for dechlorination, etc but it’s worth every penny investing into the workhorses of your entire operation. An initial investment of around two thousand dollars will provide serious growers with the longevity and hassle free basics needed. If done right, quality components will pay for themselves within the first 6-12 months of use and continue to serve your needs for 3-5 years to come. Supplies used throughout the grow are the final area where quality is important but somewhat subjective too. Although I’ve already stated that I don’t feel the need to spend big dollars on all the extras (pots, oscillating fans, water pumps for dechlorination, PH/moisture meters, etc- I do believe in doing my homework to make sure that I’m getting the best bang for my buck. I thoroughly research every item purchased and used in my grows by reading customer reviews, speaking with other growers and sometimes even trial and error at my own expense. Making quality an important factor in all aspects of Cannabis cultivation will benefit you, your grows and the planet we live on. 🌳🌎🌳

This was an excellent week for both plants! Well, lemme back it up just a bit… I accidentally tore straw pies head right off trying to train her lol. I murdered the main. She’s recovered and is beefing up but it was not planned and I hate that it happened lol. Okay back to the rest of the update. This is anecdotal but I’ve started using fishsh!t from fish head farms and holy crapola. The plants are luving it, like they’re visibly reacting to the feeds and it’s been awesome. Forbidden runtz is my bae, she’s taken to the big screen and we have some excellent main-type branches to work with. Very pleased with these gals! Both are spitting pistils and I think they’re starting to stretch a bit so hopefully we have beautiful budsites shortly!!
