So this marks the beggning of week three veg for these fabulous lady's . One of them is still catching up to the other because she keeps deciding to do weird things haha . I'm starting my nutrient cycle this week to help them kick it into veg drive ! This week it was time to transplant the plant into a 50L pot. On Sunday, I prepared the soil while listening to Peter Tosh and then transplanted the little one. It didn't even feel the effects of the transplant and is now looking beautiful in the sun. I plan to mainline this plant, so I'll do the apical pruning later this week to make the process as quick as possible.

Plant has now been moves outside in the terrible british weather. The plant is absolutely loving it. So many buds have developed and now turning a nice purple colour. Also now has a very sweet smell.

It was a wonderful journey, I really had the honor of doing this girl many times, this time even close to the Monster Zkittlez with which they generated the Runtz who was also in the grow. Super modern family situation, I wanted to try to figure out which one I liked best, and I still haven't been able to. at least I'm still tasting Runtz's first flowers and it's heavenly but the freshly picked Gelato and the upcoming Zkittlez are scary just to see them. Super resin, it really looks fake, I also have some macro photos that will make you cry. The resin is everywhere the trichomes are even in the largest leaves the scent is of the garden of eden. wow. Show. Really nice. It was freshly cleaned I want to try to do the resin the first time and then I have freshly cleaned and hung the whole girl upside down under the crop data next week when I clean and can give the detail. Gorgeous. Before being collected, she did two music therapy days, one of which in the dark with frequencies for plants and together we listened: 1 - Paolo Conte - "Gelato" al Limon 2 - Raekwon - Ice Cream to stay on the "Geato" theme and then all the M83 discography to be collected with the very famous Outro of Interstellar really seems to pass to a better life listening to that stuff. Im teling you guys, this things are going in auto mode, i just change water, bend here and there and they are doing it all by them selfes, and they doing it super fast and strong, i love wen things roll like they supposed too. Day 127 - Watered/fed today. About 180 oz of water given, with 1/2 tsp Bloom, 1/2 tsp Mag Pro per gallon. It is anticipated that this is the last feed, and will be given water only, the next 2-3 feeds before harvest, to flush/fade the girl (come on autumn colors!). I happened to be searching a couple buds and found my first 3 amber trichs on a calyx. The final countdown has begun! Day 128 - Nothing to note, I was lucky to be around enough to get the photo. Day 129 - I feel like there has been some new calyx development over the last few days, but I am still going with my plan to flush 2-3 times before a harvest. I feel like if I was properly set up, and honestly stocked with current flower, I could probably let this thing go another 3 weeks (rookie grower thoughts), but I am still looking to harvest in 10-12 days. Talking to a few different people, ran a few ideas past me, but I think I am going with my plan for this first grow. Someone mentioned one more big bloom feed before a flush, but I think I'm just ready to be done feeding. The idea of 24 hours of darkness before harvest to 'boost trichs' was brought to me by another person, and I am still unsure of my thoughts on that plan. Day 130 - The 'flush' has begun. Today the plant was given 2 gallons of water, which is almost 50% more than was given with feed, as she had been getting 180oz or so of water. You can really tell the difference in the amount of runoff! Lets see how long she takes to really show a fade. Day 131 - I got nothing for today. Snapped a pic and bolted out of the house. Day 132 - Again, sadly, I got nothing for today. A picture and out the door. Day 133 - 11 weeks of flower are down. She was watered today, with another 2 gallons of water only. I added a small amount of new Mother Earth Coco Peat to the pot, in my mind, just to ensure that she doesn't fade out too quickly. Probably a bit unnecessary and may not help, but I did it anyways :) I originally planned on chopping likely at the end of this weekend, but I might see if she can hold out 2 more water only feeds, and chop next Thurday-Friday, at the end of the 12th week. I keep checking a few buds with the loupe, and still can barely find any amber, but also don't see any clear trichs. Either way, I am going to be anxious for this last week to finish up, then the real test of waiting will come, hanging and curing!

I have harvested the plants as of day 79, I would have let it go longer but I noticed a small section of bud rot on one of the main colas. Diary will be updated once it is dried+cured so I can actually fill out the "harvest" section. Still seems like mostly clear trichomes as of day 78, I don't think I am gonna let it go over 85 days The back one is really chunking up, but is kind of lacking on the trichome production, at least on the very tops. And oh man did these plants have their share of issues. From Ph swings, temp swings, and underfeeding(I think so at least), broken branches, transplanting, being too close to the light, and they look like they are going to yield pretty well irregardless of all that.

It has been a week of snap snap snap! let's call it accidental toppings - yes - multiple. The OG Kush seems to be quite fragile compared to other strains I've grown. Continued LST has resulted in me snapping off the end of the main stem and another major branch. Both days within switching the light regime. Now I have to fill up the net using lateral branches. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period (32hrs) prior to switching light regime at the beginning of the week - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Light green spots and other spots noted on big fan leaves, possibly a calcium or other deficiency. Spots are lighter shade, irregular though some are circular. End up turning bronze colour dust. No pests have been spotted during extensive inspections. The problem remains to older leaves only and doesn't seem to be affecting any new growth. I also think I may have some Nitrogen toxicity due to my CalMag solution having a NPK ratio of 6-0-0. Getting some low N solution this week so hopefully that will address any impact on the flowering stage. The plant still seems to be strong, forming strong branches and massive fan leaves. Growth is being tucked under the net to fill it up. Pruned a few stems and leaves from below the canopy which may never see the light of day. Run-off EC still remains below target. Tracking run-off volume/EC/pH at every fertigation event as I manage the feed EC to monitor what the plant is doing/feeding. Fertigation is maintained now to once a day (at lights on) to maintain the target EC. Light period is during the night time to better maintain heat/humidity conditions during light off period (which happens during daytime). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The grow setup includes ; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 (gives me great control over the environment) - ventilation fans - aquarium heater for nutrients solution (for winter use only) - small oil heater (for winter use only) - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots (as final pots) and 3.5L general plastic pots (for seedling stage) - Canna Coco substrate mixed with 40% perlite - GHE Flora Trio as base nutrients and various additives - pH and EC/TDS meters - 2x Govee Thermo/Hygro meters (one at canopy, the other at the roots level - these allow for external monitoring and recording) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some strain info from Royal Queen Seeds ; An amazing mix of genetics background - Its true genetics are unknown. Some say OG Kush is a mix of ChemDawg with a Lemon Thai and Pakistani Kush. Others say that it’s just a special cutting of ChemDawg from the early 90s. The most obvious trait of OG Kush is its strong, unique, very dank, slightly citrus aroma, almost like fuel or strong detergent. The flavour of OG Kush is equally as strong and dank, with a long-lasting aftertaste. Strong mental and physical high - OG Kush is an extremely strong cannabis strain, with most experienced smokers listing it as one of their favourites. The effect is as strong physically as it is mentally. Though its effect is like an Sativa, the strain's genetics are mostly Indica. The effect is as strong and complex as the flavour. OG Kush takes around 8 weeks to flower and on average the yield is 500 grams per plant.

Week 4 What a week again with a lot of sunshine for the plants, but also (finally) some rain. Plants are still inside the greenhouse, so no direct rain onto them. Humidity got raised to 75 from the moment the rain started. I'm tempting to top one of the two plants, but I don't know which one yet. Also going to apply lst to both plants by bending the branches away from each other. I did not fertilize yet for the second time, because I don't want them to grow out of their pots already. I still can't plant them outside, because nights are too chilly. They are thriving anyway, but once they will be in full ground, I'm sure they will even do better. UPDATE: I topped the biggest plant (Mr. High) at the 4th node, so 3 nodes remain with possible 6 new growing points.
