03/12 - Day 68 Girls are putting out some really nice aromas! I’m assuming this is the last push for this strain, buds are really tight and super hard when squeezed on (B) & (C) All around the trichomes are still pretty clear and no amber yet.

53th day of flowering. A good finish also for this fast-flowering strain. A strain that I particularly like. The buds are well formed and begin to thicken. The smell, so recognizable among all, is super strong. No doubt it's Skunk ; )

Stanno sulle foglie e mangiano tutto. Uova ragni rossi ecc....

I start this in a "safe zone" of plain potting mix. It takes a little over a week for them to get into the pre mixed nutes. They should jump this week when they do. I got tired of waiting and watered them with 20ml liquid kelp, 20ml liquid fish, and 5ml molasses per gallon of ph 6 water. Roughly 2-1-1 to give them a boost on day 2 week 2. This week was a success. Pest have been controlled and the plants made progress. One plant gg4 #3 is behind the others. There's a tree top that throws shade on it for about 1.5 hours longer than the other two in the morning. This will be fixed for week 3. It's warmed up considerably with the day time temp reaching 90 plus f for day 6 and 7 of this week. This should really speed up the vegative growth.

Fun one to grow even in veg its exciting because the foliage is fuckin Jurassic like it's a beautiful thing. Had some high ph towards the end so I would say theres plenty of room for improvement but all around this was a decent grow and this strain is a classic

2nd net is up. Early bud formations are promising. holding up to the extremes pretty well, some leaves taking minor damage, but overall, she is holding up, gave her 1 night at 50F see how she would react, stressful. Not advised as it messes with her metabolism, but I want to see if it triggers any anthocyanin response. Love to see her purp up but no signs yet. Homework. If Rubisco activity is impaired and it cannot properly function or regenerate its substrate, the plant's leaves are likely to turn a pale green or lime green, a condition known as chlorosis. Essentially, Rubisco activity is highly regulated and susceptible to various environmental and metabolic factors that can cause it to become inhibited, leading to an apparent failure in RuBP regeneration due to a lack of consumption. Rubisco regeneration is intrinsically linked to nitrogen supply because Rubisco is a major sink for nitrogen in plants, typically accounting for 15% to over 25% of total leaf nitrogen. The regeneration phase itself consumes nitrogen through the synthesis of the Rubisco enzyme and associated proteins (like Rubisco activase), and overall nitrogen status heavily influences the efficiency of RuBP regeneration. RuBisCO is a very large enzyme that constitutes a significant proportion (up to 50%) of leaf soluble protein and requires large investments in nitrogen. Insufficient nitrogen supply limits the plant's ability to produce adequate amounts of RuBisCO, thereby limiting the overall capacity for photosynthesis and carbon fixation. Maintaining the optimal, slightly alkaline pH is crucial for the proper function and regeneration of Rubisco. Deviations in either direction (too high or too low) disrupt the enzyme's structure, activation state, and interaction with its substrates, leading to decreased activity and impaired RuBP regeneration. (LIME GREEN CHLOROSIS) Structural Component: Nitrogen is an essential building block for all proteins, and the sheer abundance of the Rubisco protein makes it the single largest storage of nitrogen in the leaf. Synthesis and Activity: Adequate nitrogen supply is crucial for the synthesis and maintenance of sufficient Rubisco enzyme and Rubisco activase (Rca), the regulatory protein responsible for maintaining Rubisco's active state. Nitrogen deficiency leads to a decrease in the content and activity of both Rubisco and Rca, which in turn limits the maximum carboxylation rate, Vmax, and the rate of RuBP regeneration Jmax, thus reducing overall photosynthetic capacity. Nitrogen Storage and Remobilization: Rubisco can act as a temporary nitrogen storage protein, which is degraded to remobilize nitrogen to other growing parts of the plant, especially under conditions of nitrogen deficiency or senescence. Nitrogen Use Efficiency (NUE): The allocation of nitrogen to Rubisco is a key determinant of a plant's photosynthetic nitrogen use efficiency (PNUE). In high-nitrogen conditions, plants may accumulate a surplus of Rubisco, which may not be fully activated, leading to a lower PNUE. Optimizing the amount and activity of Rubisco relative to nitrogen availability is a target for improving crop NUE. Photorespiration and Nitrogen Metabolism: Nitrogen metabolism is also linked to the photorespiration pathway (which competes with carboxylation at the Rubisco active site), particularly in the reassimilation of ammonia released during the process. To increase RuBisCO regeneration, which refers to the process of forming the CO2 acceptor molecule Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate (RuBP) during photosynthesis, the primary methods involve optimizing the levels and activity of Rubisco activase (Rca) and enhancing the performance of other Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzymes. Biochemical and Environmental Approaches: Optimize Rubisco Activase (Rca) activity: Rca is a crucial chaperone protein that removes inhibitory sugar phosphates, such as CA1P (2-carboxy-D-arabinitol 1-phosphate), from the Rubisco active site, thus maintaining its catalytic competence. •Ensure optimal light conditions: Rca is light-activated via the chloroplast's redox status. Adequate light intensity ensures Rca can effectively maintain Rubisco in its active, carbamylated state. •Maintain optimal temperature: Rca is highly temperature-sensitive and can become unstable at moderately high temperatures (e.g., above 35°C/95F° in many C3 plants), which decreases its ability to activate Rubisco. Maintaining temperatures within the optimal range for a specific plant species is important. •Optimize Mg2+ concentration: Mg2+ is a key cofactor for both Rubisco carbamylation and Rca activity. In the light, Mg2+ concentration in the chloroplast stroma increases, promoting activation. •Manage ATP/ADP ratio: Rca activity depends on ATP hydrolysis and is inhibited by ADP. Conditions that maintain a high ATP/ADP ratio in the chloroplast stroma favor Rca activity. Enhance Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzyme activity: The overall rate of RuBP regeneration can be limited by other enzymes in the cycle. •Increase SBPase activity: Sedoheptulose-1,7-bisphosphatase (SBPase) is a key regulatory enzyme in the regeneration pathway, and increasing its activity can enhance RuBP regeneration and overall photosynthesis. •Optimize other enzymes: Overexpression of other CBB cycle enzymes such as fructose-1,6-bisphosphate aldolase (FBA) and triose phosphate isomerase (TPI) can also help to balance the metabolic flux and improve RuBP regeneration capacity. Magnesium ions, Mg2+, are specifically required for Rubisco activation because the cation plays a critical structural and chemical role in forming the active site: A specific lysine residue in the active site must be carbamylated by a CO2 molecule to activate the enzyme. The resulting negatively charged carbamyl group then facilitates the binding of the positively charged Mg2+ion. While other divalent metal ions like Mn2+ can bind to Rubisco, they alter the enzyme's substrate specificity and lead to dramatically lower activity or a higher rate of the non-productive oxygenation reaction compared to Mg2+, making them biologically unfavorable in the context of efficient carbon fixation. The concentration of Mg2+ in the chloroplast stroma naturally increases in the light due to ion potential balancing during ATP synthesis, providing a physiological mechanism to ensure the enzyme is activated when photosynthesis is possible. At the center of the porphyrin ring, nestled within its nitrogen atoms, is a Magnesium ion (Mg2+). This magnesium ion is crucial for the function of chlorophyll, and without it, the pigment cannot effectively capture and transfer light energy. Mg acts as a cofactor: Mg2+ binds to Rubisco after an activator CO2 molecule, forming a catalytically competent complex (Enzyme-CO2-Mg2+). High light + CO2) increases demand: Under high light (60 DLI is a very high intensity, potentially saturating) and high CO2, the plant's capacity for photosynthesis is high, and thus the demand for activated Rubisco and the necessary Mg2+ cofactor increases. Mg deficiency becomes limiting: If Mg2+ is deficient under these conditions, the higher levels of Rubisco and Rubisco activase produced cannot be fully activated, leading to lower photosynthetic rates and potential photo-oxidative damage. Optimal range: Studies show that adequate Mg2+ application can enhance Rubisco activation and stabilize net photosynthetic rates under stress conditions, but the required concentration is specific to the experimental setup. Monitoring is key: The most effective approach in a controlled environment is to monitor the plant's physiological responses e.g., leaf Mg2+ concentration, photosynthetic rate, Rubisco activation state, and adjust the nutrient solution/fertilizer to maintain adequate levels, rather than supplementing a fixed "extra" amount. In practice, this means ensuring that Mg2+ is not a limiting factor in the plant's standard nutrient solution when pushing the limits with high light and CO2. Applying Mg2+ through foliar spray is beneficial to Rubisco regeneration, particularly in alleviating the negative effects of magnesium (Mg) deficiency and high-temperature stress (HTS). While Mg can be leached from soil, within the plant it is considered a mobile nutrient, particularly in the phloem. Foliar-applied Mg is quickly absorbed by the leaves and can be translocate to other plant parts, including new growth and sink organs. Foliar application of: NATURES VERY OWN MgSO4 @ 15.0g L-1 in a spray bottle. Foliar sprays are often recommended as a rapid rescue measure for existing deficiencies or as a supplement during critical growth stages, when demand for Mg is high. Application in the early morning or late evening can improve absorption and prevent leaf burn. The starting point [of creativity] is curiosity: pondering why the default exists in the first place. We’re driven to question defaults when we experience vuja de, the opposite of déjà vu. Déjà vu occurs when we encounter something new, but it feels as if we’ve seen it before. Este post es el de cosecha, pero voy a hacer el Harvest cuando tenga procesadas las fotos de cogollos secos y haya hecho una buena cata. Estas dos mangos fueron preciosas de cultivar. Cogieron un tono azulado y algunos petalos se volvieron de un color rosa muy fuerte. No fue dificil de cultivar aunque la empezara en octubre, tuvo la visita de algunas orugas pero no causaron casi ningun daño. -Empecé el cultivo en octubre, lo que hizo que mis plantas no llegaran a la altura deseada, no tubieron todo el sol que necesitavan y se espigaron. Les hice un corte FIM a una planta y apical a la otra, lo cual hizo que las puntas desarrollaran una forma curiosa. This post is the harvest one, but I'm going to do the Harvest week when I have processed all the photos of dried buds and made a good tasting. -These mangos are amazingly gorgeous. They took a bluish tone and some petals turned a very strong pink color. It was not difficult to grow considering that I planted it a little late, I only had the visit of some caterpillars. There are some pics of one of them. -I started cultivation in October, which caused my plants not to reach the desired height, they did not have all the sun they needed and they sprouted. I made a FIM cut to one plant and apical to the other, which caused the tips to develop a curious shape. Thanks to you all for the support!

This Do-si-Dos OG is so amazing it's just beutiful to see all that resin very early in flower just shining with the full Mediterranean sun hitting her right directly on those beautiful frosty nuggets,the aroma it's very OG but you can feel sweet tones too,very special OG,can't wait to harvest this girl,I definitely love this strain! 💚🌱💎😍

Moved some plants to spot 2 more of a old lake grown over by reeds and now its dried up perfect to get them wet dry cycles as soil was not drying up at spot one need to build some beds down at spot 1 been putting abit of work in at spot 2

The white continues to grow very well, the new branches born from topping grow quickly and grow well, beautiful brunches are expected. The trunk widens impressively. We use Neem Oil + Potassium Soap for protection every 3 days and Lord Grow nourishing foliar every 15 days to protect, improve and give co2 via the leaf.

The plant seems to be growing very nicely very healthy and no issues whatsoever and it is in full flower mode smelling amazing and strong can wait to see how the flowers grow on this one. thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow

After keeping my light 35-40 cm from the bambine, I decided to pull them up to 45-50 cm from them. They weren't getting burnt, but you could notice a paler colour on the upper leafs, that let me think that it was to close even if the light wasn't heating them up. Disgrace!Disgrace!😱😰 I fucked it up!!💩 😳Pulling up my light the bar holding it ,just decided to unclip(obviously my fault for not securing it well) and it plumed on top of my babys burning👹 the top of one and bending slightly another one...😭😭😵... Sangoma!!! Sangoma I shouted out! Please help me!!!!😫 And he did... All plants made it...Barneys got some real hardcore shit!!! So even if I fell guilty and shit ,Tangi is a dream that will still be continued

Week 6 Day 1 9/16/2023 Still on Vacation! Week 6 Day 2 9/17/2023 Back from Vacation.. The PH was down to 5.57 and the water was almost to the ring on the 3inch pipe in the Res.. Which is Low.. So Next trip I take, I will add the additional water and Nutes to as close to the net pot as I feel comfortable with. Added: 10 gallons of Water CALMag- .75mil/Gal GH FLoraMicro-4.2mil/Gal GH FlroaGro-4.0mil/Gal GH FLroaBloom-3.8Mil/Gal ORCA-.5mil/Gal I decided that I wanted to take clones tonight. I took 4 of each and I will cull 2 of each in a few weeks when they are ready, I am going to do a short breeding run with these, Reverse them and Flip them at about week 3 of Veg. I also gave them an extreme heavy defoliation tonight, and my New Portable AC unit showed up so I installed that. Week 6 Day 3 9/18/2023 letting her recover from the work we did together yesterday. Week 6 Day 4 9/19/2023 Took a few tops today as I start to stretch her out on her side of the tent. We have a few branches past our flip mark so we will Super Crop them down soon to ensure we get an even grow to the primary canopy before we Flip. Also want to give her sister a little more time to catch up. Week 6 Day 5 9/20/2023 Today I received my replacement parts for my Spider-Farmer light that had gone out. Replaced the parts and put the light back in the tent with the clones. Week 6 Day 6 9/21/2023 Today everything looked great!! Week 6 Day 7 9/22/2023 She is above the mark for flip. Tomorrow is Water change day, which means decision day.. I have to decide if I am going to Flip to flower and fill with Week 1 flower Nutes, or if I am going to let it go for another week and just start super cropping. Either way I will be super cropping soon but not sure if it will be through the first week of flower or just starting and growing through the first week of flower. The plant shall tell the tell tomorrow.

Shishkaberry #3 took about 3 days to take down and trim. So much work! Started pulling some of the Tangcicle and Shishkaberry #2 and #4 on 10/14. Found some bud rot on most of the larger colas on #2 and #4. Sucks, but I think I was able to isolate and remove the majority of it. Lost a lot of primo flower tho. Tropicanna Banana getting much closer. Showing lots of purple with the cold night temperatures.

In week 10 all remaining plants developed well, they have a healthy green color and grow copious amounts of new flowers every day. The trichome production has been going strong as well, therefore the plants start to smell stronger than before. The BLUE-MINT plant from Mountain High Seeds is going strong... she grows so many trichomes it has started to build so called RESIN RAILS on the fan-leaves...so AWESOME to see! 😍 The tallest plant is the Strawberry Sour-Diesel from OriginalDevilHarvest-Seeds. Even after being supper-cropped she grows taller every day! She also developes FAT and DANK buds on all branches with a HUGE AMOUNT of trichomes. The smell of this plant is VERY LEMONY, its so fruity and mouthwatering, I cant wait for her to be finished. The Serious Happiness from Serious Seeds does well, she also has big buds with lots of trichomes. The SNEEZE from Cnnbs.nl and Seedstockers is doing GREAT! She has a tremendous amount of trichomes on her buds, and has fat colas on all sidebranches. The nutrients from BIO NOVA work VERY WELL...all plants are doing GREAT. At this stage of flowering the SANlight EVO4-120 LEDs are dimmed to 100% and hang at 30 cm distance of the top of the plants. My genetic treasures LOVE the intensity and spectrum of those LEDs as you can see in the pics. Unfortunately I spot some traces on my leaves and discover some THRIPS on the backside of my fan-leaves. This insects eat away on the plant-sap and can decrease your harvest, if the infestation gets too much. Therefore I immediately order some bags with predator insects against THRPS from KOPPERT and hang them on each plant. These predators are the natural enemies and will eat the THRIPS from my plants.
