Week 12

Simplemente hermosos pistilos naranja y un aroma exquisito 💚

Arranca la semana con una solución más cargada y las plantas atadas al limite. No puedo imaginar lo que deben ser las raíces. Pero hasta ahora la solución está siempre limpia. Los EMRO están funcionando a la perfección. Espero que empiecen a formarse bien las flores. Día 17. Empezó el engorde. El estirón frenó. Ahora voy a esperar que las flores empiecen a tomar forma para luego hacer una defoliación y el último guiado, y así dejar todas las flores con una exposición a la luz de forma pareja. Estoy bastante contento y satisfecho con lo que vengo observando. Día 20. Hice una defoliación de las hojas superiores. Cómo solamente tengo hasta 3 nudos debajo de la cabeza con flores, saqué las hojas grandes de arriba que hacían sombra a las flores bajas. De esa forma las flores de arriba desarrollan un poco más las hojas pegadas a las flores, pero no tanto como para hacer gran sombra. Y las flores del 3er nudo, se siguen alimentando de las hojas grandes que dejé. Este corte lo hice hace años en un SCROG de critical mass, y obtuve muy buenos resultados. Ahora a esperar el tan preciado engorde. Día 21. Las flores ya empiezan a ganar volumen camino a su formación. Se las ve cambiando día a día. Por el momento sólo puedo agradecer que no ha habido inconvenientes. La solución se mantiene increíblemente limpia, siendo que por el volumen y amontonamiento de raíces que debe haber en los caños, debería haber aunque sea algo. Pero las EMRO vienen haciendo su trabajo bastante bien, así que fue una excelente inversión, y bastante accesible en precio. Mañana arranca la 4ta semana. Espero que sea una semana de grandes avances.

Finally have the gnats under control!!! Using a combination of beneficial bacteria, neem oil, and organic pesticides. They’re still there but only a couple so I will continue use. Skywalker og is still double the size of all the others and drinks double the water so that is crazy idk how to deal with that I might just start watering it in between watering the other ones idk it’s crazy. Also don’t know how long we’re gonna go with this veg I want to do a pound which is ambitious for a second grow with a 300w light in a 2 x 4 but that would be cool. Looking good tho next grow I’m only gonna do 3 strains instead of 4 or even 2 but we’ll see. Went a little too heavy on the nitrogen I think i dialed it back a bit but plants are healthy and strong I think the silica helps a lot.

Well, those in the catalog died or did not germinate well, apart from that, the 6 seeds without breed that we have saved from good buds that came into my hands germinated well. here I share a little of what could be recorded, as you can see there is a bigger one that was the attempt to germinate the cars with an approximate age advantage of 25 days, with that criterion I will comment on this one in particular and the others in your set. The largest in age also has the largest pot of all of 11 liters approx 3 gallons The 2nd largest is for having the 2nd largest pot of 7 or 8 liters approx 2 gallons The remaining 5 are in pots of 3.5 liters or 1 gallon We also started fighting with the high temperatures due to the weather, which will go down as the months go by in our favor, we turn on lights at night and turn off the lights during the day to compensate, which we will manage just as well as the plants adapt, as will be seen until 3 o'clock 4 week of flowering, which is the one we are currently going through when this diary is being updated

Last week was pretty stable. The buds are steadily fattening up, just how we like it. They all got burned leave tips, I think it has to do with too little runoff, because I’m using GHE’s flora hydro schedule on exactly half strength. Its not getting worse over the last days so its probably not a big deal. Like I said last week, I have a dehumidifier now. I got it hooked up to one of the air holes on the bottom. My sonoff temperature and humidity sensor checks when it goes over 65% rh, and fires on the dehumidifier whenever needed to blow difrectly in the tent. I do wonder if I could save on electricity to get a stronger exhaust fan. Because the humidity outside the tent is low enough, so more air circulation could fix the humidity issue without actively dehumidifying I think. I’ve been eyeing on the Apogee SQ-102 PAR meter. Its not perfect for led light but it does give a pretty good idea about the amount of light hitting the plants. I’d like to get a better idea of the optimal distance between plants and light. Especially since i ran into loads of light burn issues in this grow and past grows.

4/24/23 @ 12:30pm - We did something a little different today. Both plants given 1 gallon of campden water + 1 TSP RECHARGE + 1 TSP Mega Crop + 2 TSP Bloom. This should act like a flush of sorts but the water is loaded with nutes so hopefully this helps the plants turn more green. 4/26/23 @ 9pm - I checked on both plants tonight and the first inch or so of soil felt dry so I decided to water. pH'd 6.5 campden water + 1.75 tsp MegaCrop + 1 tsp Bloom + 1 tsp RECHARGE. 1.5 Gallons per plant. Still some yellowing and wilting but the leaves have straightened out since the wind burn adjustments. Hopefully they uptake all these nutrients, the smells are getting incredible. 4/28/23 @ 2:30pm - Checked on the girls today and I am happy to report they're finally starting to turn back to a nice shade of green. The wind burnt leaves have either died off or recovered. The smells are getting very strong and all the colas are super sticky. Hoping to see some fattening up over the next 2-4 weeks until harvest time. 4/29/23 @ 6pm - Both plants given 1 gallon of campden water + 1/2 tsp MC (4 grams) + 3/4 TSP Bloom + 1/2 TSP RECHARGE pH'd to 6.5 - First pistils starting to turn amber!

as you can see the girls are growing despite having had and I think deficiencies from the beginning of flowering but I have increased the dose of nutrient and the first results are starting to show. they started forming flowers so i still think 3-4 weeks to cut we will see next week if we start flush and hope for a decent harvest 🌱

Blue Dream Auto grew okay. She didn't get as big as I expected, but I was not able to keep grow temp up due to the winter. She is loaded in trichromes and has a berry, woody, citrus aroma. I am gonna cut her today and get back with a smoke report soon. Its week 7. I clicked germination on accident. Last week of veg. About to move them to a flowering room. I cut about the bottom 20% off. I am gonna scrog and the bottom wont recieve any light.

Heloooh So this sour tangie is starting to grow realy nicely, it seems that it recoverd good from their transplantation. it's got small branches popping up everywhere . witch will be nice when i start putting them under my hid that's arriving soon. I gave it some alga grow and not seeing burning on the leave's so will probably continue this. Happy with my grow so far let's hope these plants grow big in flowering, they got a nice base so far. Start of Week 7! Day 44 - 12/12 Looks like I guessed right with the seed swap because this girl has clearly shown she's the LSD-25 this past week. Very excited for my first purple plant since I wasn't able to pull much purple out of my Chocolate Mint OG in my first grow. Glad I have 2 more seeds of this strain so I can give them a better chance at growing up before flower in a future grow. Maf' looks like a Solo Cup Challenge in a 5gal pot 😅 Adjusted the LST and clipped two fan leaves between the top nodes to give the secondary sites a bit more light (Not shown in Day 44 pics) Fed with the same PH Perfect MGB/Molasses mix but upped the MGB to .75ml a gal split between the 3 plants I have going now and given a water chaser to keep the top layer clean from build up. Day 48 - 12/16 Gave another wash out feeding with gallon and a half of Water/Molasses mix split between the LSD and two Cali Snows. Also added D-Earth as a preventative measure on the soil since they're starting to form buds. Trying to avoid any future harmful chems or oils on the flowers if some little buggers decide to move in plus it kind of adds silica when you water it in. Pulled the plants out for a good look and slight LST adjustment. Not much to do on the LSD-25 since she set flower early and the size/structure is locked in. Can only lean and spread to try and get the small amount of bud sites to fatten as much as possible. It is very exciting to watch the purple starting to form in the buds and leaves. She won't be big but I'll try and make her pretty fo sure 😈 Not too much smell to her yet but it could also be due to the fact that the Cali Snows I have are starting to get their stank on and probably overpowering anything the LSD is throwing out. Day 50 - 12/18 Biggest feed so far! Split 1.5ml each of PH Perfect MGB kit and 2 tsp across 2 gallons of feeding solution. LSD-25 got 0.5ml each + 1tsp Molasses and chased with a couple more litres (You imperial American's got me all messed up on this site) Will give a day to dry a bit before giving the top layer of soil a spray down with water to get rid of any residue then top with a D-Earth sprinkle and let sit until it's time for another feed. This is the fun phase of having to take pictures every day or else you don't notice just how big the buds are starting to get day by day! Might be able to get an early chop and dry for some uncured taste testing before New Years depending on how long I let her go to maximize bud size on such a small girl 😛 Thanks for stopping in, throw down a like so I can return the favour, will update through the week! 🙌 IG: @GlazedGrow
