Starting to fill out nice now, slowed down on the feed now about every 2 days the coco dries out. Smell is strong!

With spectacular colors and aromas that ... mmmmmm already make you dizzy I'm sure we'll re-propose this delicious plant on a large scale!

Day 29 of flower.

Finished trimming the GSC tonight after a 6 day dry. Buds are very sticky and the jars smell like chocolate chip cookies. Lots of 3.5G+ buds (dry). Dry weight is about 88g of buds and 17g of shake/popcorn. Granddaddy Purple #1 is still drying, GDP #2 came out to about 70 of buds and 20g of popcorn/shake. Planning to make concentrates with the shake and popcorn. Even after no cure, I have sampled both GDP and GSC. GDP is my favorite (but GDP has always been my all time favorite) but GSC smells, looks, and tastes better. Planning to let them cure 8 weeks in Amber Ball 32oz Mason Jars, hoping for good final product. Feel like I didn’t do too bad for a first grow! Learned a lot! Cherry Pie & Wedding Cake next!

Candy Hustle is now entering week four of flower, and she continues to impress with her incredible resin production. ❄️✨ With the recent heatwave finally over, the environment became much more favorable for flowering. Temperatures dropped to 25°C while humidity stabilized around 55% RH, creating ideal conditions for healthy bud development. 🌡️💨 This week the plants received one feeding of BioTabs Orgatrex along with one application of Green House Feeding BioEnhancer, keeping the living soil active and supplying everything needed for the next stage of flowering. 🌱 I also removed a few more fan leaves throughout the canopy to improve airflow and light penetration. At this point, the canopy is well opened up, so this will most likely be the last significant defoliation before harvest. 🍃 The flowering stretch has almost completely finished, allowing the plant to focus its energy on stacking flowers. Buds are now forming along every branch, and the canopy has become very even with excellent spacing between the colas. 🌸 One of the most striking characteristics of this phenotype is how quickly it started producing trichomes. Sugar leaves are already heavily coated in resin, giving the plant a frosty appearance much earlier than expected. ❄️💚 The structure remains very balanced with strong stems supporting numerous developing flower sites. Despite running close to the nutrient limit, only slight yellow leaf tips are visible, while the overall foliage remains deep green and healthy. Another great sign this week is that Candy Hustle #1 showed no additional pollen sacs. After the few isolated sacs that were removed previously, no new ones have appeared, which is very encouraging going forward. 🙏 This week feels like the point where Candy Hustle shifts from stretching into full flower production. From here on, the focus will be on swelling calyxes, increasing resin production, and developing her final aroma profile. 🍬⛽ 🌱 Environment 🌡️ Temperature: 25°C 💧 Humidity: 55% RH 💡 Light intensity: ~900 PPFD 🌸 Flower Week 4 🌱 1× BioTabs Orgatrex 1× Green House Feeding BioEnhancer 🍃 Light defoliation performed (likely the last one) ❄️ Heavy early trichome production 💪 Stretch nearly finished 🌿 Excellent bud stacking throughout the canopy ✅ No new pollen sacs observed on Candy Hustle #1 At this stage, Candy Hustle is shaping up to be one of the frostiest plants in the tent, and I'm excited to see how much she packs on over the coming weeks. 🍬❄️🌿

May 3- I picked up my clones for this season today. Plants appear very healthy and are currently under two 150 Watt HPS until these plants can survive the cold Maine temps which won't be for a few weeks. From here the will go in fabric pots ranging from 30 to 50 gallons and trellised. The soil mixture that I use is 1/3 happy frog 1/3 FFOF and 1/3 roots organic. When I get good weather I need to clean up last year's mess and wash my bags. I couldn't take pictures due to low memory but I will. I'm going to start hardening the plants off a few hours each day. 5/9 Watered everything and started LSTing but I need more room. Weather is going to be great so I think I'll hold off on training others. I pinched a few and I'm going to try to get the plants out side some so they can harden off. Planning on dumping soil and washing bags today. I got most of the cleaning done. Bags are dumped and soaking. Soil needs have been established and I'm planning on either ordering from Amazon or picking up in person the next couple days. Plants never made it outside today as it was rather windy.

Stretch is in full swing. She's really starting to drink a lot at this point. Midweek: really focusing on defoliation this week to open up the canopy and get as much light to bud sights as possible. Increased light output to 100% and lamp to plant distance to about 70cm giving me a bigger light footprint. End of Week: canopy is filling nice and evenly. May have to leave some lower branches on after harvest but we'll see. Next couple of weeks should be exciting.

21.09.Update – Day 54 • We’re now deep into flowering, and unfortunately the thrips problem has not improved. • On the contrary, the population has completely taken over and has had a strong negative influence on this run. ⸻ Pest Situation • Despite thorough cleaning before the run and multiple measures during the grow (Neem, Nematodes, Predatory Mites), the thrips kept spreading and finally took control. • The infestation has weakened the plants noticeably, reducing their potential and overall performance. • For the next cycle, I will need to take even stricter preventive steps to avoid a repeat of this issue. ⸻ Plant & Bud Development • Even though the plants were heavily affected, the buds themselves are still relatively solid: • They are compact, firm, and nicely structured. • The terpene profile is very appealing, with a rich and delicious aroma. • Yield will certainly be lower than expected, but there is still a chance for a satisfying end product. ⸻ Notes & Outlook • This run shows how devastating thrips pressure can be, even under careful preparation. • Nevertheless, the buds are giving hope for a decent harvest in terms of quality and flavor. • The plan now is to finish strong, harvest what can be saved, and then prepare carefully for a fresh, hopefully pest-free start. ⸻ 🌱 Day 54 – Thrips have dominated the run, but compact buds and great terps keep the outlook positive for harvest quality.
