Hello everybody! Here we are a week later and I’m starting to see some nice improvements and developments. This week I fed all plants pretty heavily with Recharge and Dolomite Lime (and a little Cal Mag). The plants seemed to like it, the color is really coming back to a nice shade of green instead of the pale yellow’ish green and I'm starting to see nice bud sites developing! I’m going back to my normal nutrient routine this week and think it should be fairly smooth sailing from here. One negative is I seem to have inherited some bugs from my wife. She asked me to put one of her outdoor plants in the room so it would survive the winter, well it looks like that plant was infested with bugs. The little f’ers had a feast on some of the leaves. My wife gave me the OK to toss the plant, so with the plant removed it should be fairly easy to irradiate any remaining bugs with some sticky paper. I’d like to say thank you to all who answered my question regarding recommend reading on cannabis. I’m selecting the answer for the Grow Bible by Greg Green because I was actually unaware of that one. I’m familiar with the Cervantes and Rosenthal versions but not Greg Greens. I’ll be ordering that book after I receive and finish “True Living Organics” by The Rev (should be here tomorrow). This week I have a new question for my GD friends…. CO2? I have not been using CO2 but EVERY book I read recommends using it, I’m not prepared to go out and buy a CO2 tank, regulator, etc… at this time. Has anyone ever used one of those CO2 bags? Or do you have any DIY CO2 solutions you can recommend? I’m looking forward to your answers on CO2. I’ll leave you this week with another interesting excerpt from “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear: “I prefer to use high-pressure sodium lamps. With the exception of LED's, HPS lamps are the most efficient source of light you can buy, both in terms of light output and light spectrum. Having read nearly every book on the subject of growing pot, I feel that their authors tend to overemphasize the importance of light spectrum. You do not need to alternate between metal halides (for growth) and sodiums (for flowering). That is an oversimplification of the plant's light requirements. You may do this if you like--it certainly won't hurt--but I firmly believe that the gains are just not great enough to justify the cost of the extra MH lamp.” -Read Spear

2024 October 20: Oo my god

29.01.2021. DAY 15 19:30 Frankenstein is already showing sex. Must be a world record :) . Noticed one fungus gnat flylier but still not doing anything about since is only one, maybe it came from outside. Keeping an eye on that flying bastards. Letting soil dry out as much as I can because fungus gnats lay eggs only on wet soil. Plant #2 is bigger than frankenstain and still not showing sex. 30.01.2021. DAY 16 23:50 Watered both plants with 1L of bottled water with 2ml rhizotonic, 3ml cannazym, 1ml terra vega(1/4 recommended normal feeding) - ph 6.5 - ppm 250. Started LST on both plants. Small crack on #2 plant from LST - my mistake, I didnt take my time and I rushed it :( . She will grow out of it its not a big deal but still mad at myself :). 31.01.2021. DAY 17 08:30 Both plants perking back up after LST. 01.02.2021. DAY 18 19:30 Some more LST. I managed to get the courage to bend plant #2 more, because it has a crack on the main stem :) .Plants are growing more horizontally now and I'm very happy about how they look now. I have a plan where each branch is going to be roughly. We will se how I manage flowering stretch :) . Lights lowered to 32cm from plants top. 02.02 2021 DAY 19 22:00 Watered with 1.2L of bottled water with 2.2ml of rhizotonic and 2.8ml of cannnazym. Ph 6.5 ppm 200. Both have very slight nute burn on the tips of the new growth. It's because of only 1ml of terra vega that i fed them last time. So they dont need nutes yet. Next watering will be with more water because think that around 1L of water did not penetrate deep enough for whole soil to be wet. Still don't know how much water to use next time. If someone who has similar setup and reading my diary can help be free to comment :) 03.02 2021 DAY 20 19:00 Did some more LST. Plants really enjoyed watering from yesturday. They were very happy :). Now after LST not so much :) 03.02 2021 DAY 20 22:00 Checked on the plants and saw plant #2 topped herself just below third node :( . I bent her over just a bit too much it seems. Really a shame. Both plants were looking perfect with the cannopy open and flat. I taped her up with duck tape and we will se how it goes. 04.02 2021 DAY 21 22:00 Plant #2 that has a broken main stem is doing nothing. No development on her at all. She is not turning yellow or growing at all. I hope she will recover. No thing new to add. Still very much depresed because I broke the stem :)

Hey Growers, end of week 6 from seed, end of week 1 of flower :) Plant #1 is looking healthy and has grown tremendously. I previously had them in a 24x24x48 grow tent but after seeing how much plant#1 was growing I went ahead and purchased a bigger tent 36x36x72. Light is about 17 inches away from the plants right now. Might have to do some LST so the top leaves don't receive too much light. P1 is filling up with pistils, looks like buds will soon begin to form :) I have not been able to figure out Plant#2 gender. It has different charateristics from plant#1. Earlier in the week I noticed P2 was not growing in height and the leaves were starting to look pale. Light is currently set to medium low 140 Lux X100. I reduced it to 100 Lux and after a few days it began growing again and its gaining back its color. P2 has given me minor problems since day 1 but its looking better now. Changed light cycle 12hrs / 12hrs I had issues trying to maintain humidity levels at 45%-55%, I might need to purchase a stronger dehumidifer cloned two plants and they are beginning to grow :) Its been an exciting experience so far, everyday learning something new about these plants. I sometimes stand and just stare at my grow tent analyzing little details about them trying make sure they are in healthy condition. My wife complains because I spend too much time with them lol. I know once these plants get more mature she will show more interest in them. Hello and welcome to Bertha's final week! Big news! On day 72 aka today.... ... ... Bertha was pulled! I need the space now and shes not maturing properly, foxtailing and no further development except brown pistils. Trichomes 5% amber on oldest colas. Harvest report when dried. I haven't weighed wet as it's too awkward.

she grows very nicely takes water and nutrition well. I have started to train it and it responds well to that.excuse the lighting a get home the lamp for the photo and dry cabinet so there will be good pictures outside the tent too

Dealt with pm issue why I havent posted. Its gone. Fed compost tea, fpj, and foop. Also hit her with some mykos. Im already getting iny head when I want to begin amemding this for rhe next round

Really nice plant. Very strong smell, Well THC coated buds and very nice effects. Lovely.

Apologies for not updating last week. She is the last girl left in the tent so I decided to get some canes and spread her out to the extents of the tent. She is progressing, the hairs are turning but have not gone very dark yet. Still some 'new' white hairs around. I have not even looked at the trichomes yet, the flowers look quite airy at this stage. As there are no other diaries of this strain I'm flying by the seat of my pants here 😂 I'm thinking at least another 3 weeks left..

Day 44. Some girls have a bit too much N, leaves show very light curl and some girls are still in veg/preflower mode, so for two waterings it will be phed water with light CalMag added. But anyway, all took that heavy training easy and are blooming. Now i understand in what an absurd grow i created myself, but ... a journey is a journey and i like it ! ;))) Day 45. All good in the Neibourhood ;))) Day 47. Girls got a winner pedestal ;))) had to lift some, had to leave some on the ground, had to supercrop one skyscraper , she was going to the sealings ;)) Still light N overdose curl, but only on one most running to sun strain, so it will be a challenge to feed those 5 pots with other 10 girls in them ... Oh well, hope SOMEBODY will learn ;))

Day 49 - Still giving the ladies just PH water with no nutrients trying to see if I can fix whatever is wrong with them😅 All in all the White Widow & Orange Sherbet plants I took individual pictures of are growing great & should have a pretty nice yield! Plants took a hard hit with bad ph levels in week 4 for a few days but are growing strong again and I will probably veg till the end of week 6 on these girls and switch to flowering in week 7. Overall it’s going good, water temps are a steady 18 Celsius with the thermoelectric water cooler I built and the small ac unit In the tent is holding the air temps between 23-25 Celsius. I added 4 gal of fresh water and nutrients at full strength to the reservoir on Day 38. Also the first lower screen was installed and I tied down/tucked a few of the larger branches to the screen.

Que pasa familia, volvemos actualizar , va, última semana de crecimiento que las pasaré a floración esta próxima semana, han recuperado genial de la carencia de nitrógeno y el trasplante, parecía que no querían tirar pero vaya estirón han dado esta semana. Subí un poco los nutrientes , seguimos aportando lo básico de advanced nutrients, me encantaría volver a cultivar con Agrobeta que dan unos resultados increíbles también pero es lo que hay. Practique una poda de bajos, también me parece importante para fomentar en la floración las flores arriba y no abajo que las flores bajeras no nos dan mucho. Hasta ahora es todo espero que no surjan más imprevistos como el trasplante o las carencias. Buenos humos familia 💨💨

10/7/18- LST and preparing for topping # 3 for 8 colas. Everything looking healthy so far 10/10/18- Topped #3- probably should have waited maybe an extra day. Water 1/2 gallon with urb and Aloe water.

44oz of plant food mix is given to 5 plants (3- Colombian Gold, 2- Grandaddy Purple). All 3 of the Alcapulco Gold plants are still receiving pH balanced water- no nutrients. They’re measuring 10” tall. Colombian Gold and Grandaddy Purple measurements range from: 12.5”-18.5”

Vamos familia, hora de cosechar estas Biscotti de RoyalQueenSeeds. No veáis que pinta que tienen las flores están bien formadas y repletas de tricomas. Después de 70 días de floración obtengo estas flores tan increíbles que huelen pfff. Es una variedad un poco complicada de cultivar pero, que al final si da sus frutos. Bastante contento con este primer cultivo de la temporada de indoor. I'm 4 days into flower. Topped all the plants nice and even. Then removed all bud sites below the top 4 on each branch. Leaving fan leaves intact. I allowed them to recover for 2 days. Then flipped the lights. Inzane In The Membrane was growing much taller as expected. It's a sativa and it was really stretching. The plants currently are looking to be very thin. They occupy 2/3 of a net and do not look as filled as the blue gelato screen. My guess is that these will continue to stretch for another week longer then the other plants and will eventually overwelm their screen.
