The end of week 1 has arrived. We all know how it goes. Just playing the waiting game. At this stage these girls are just working on building their root system. The roots should be hitting the reservoir in the bottom of the buckets soon then they should take off. Got the water pumping and the lights beaming 24 hours a day. Running a low dose of maxigro. Keeping the ph around 6. Will probably be topping them around day 12. Would be amazing if I can get them ready to switch to flower at the end of week 3. But for now I'm just going to check on them 420 times a day hoping they don't die. Might be back next week if they are alive. Happy growing!

Here we go... week 2! Everything went pretty smoothly during germination and week 1. I'm starting to think about nutrients, as i do plan to start feeding, VERY lightly, sometime this coming week. I figure my soil should probably be okay for 3-4 weeks but i'm going to be feeding only 2 of the 3 plants starting in week 2. I'll start feeding the 3rd plant in week 3. I want to see if there's any difference or problems that arise. Day 8: - Temp: 74-80F - RH: 68-71% - no water, reduced exhaust fan speed to 10% at night due to colder outdoor temperature. Day 9: - Temp: 72F-79F - RH: 62-69% - lightly watered with de-chlorinated tap water Day 10: I've now desgnated the plants as "L-1", "L-2" and "L-3", based on their germination and seedling stage growth, with "L-1" being the most vigorous. - Temp: 72-76F - RH: 65-68% - Lightly watered "L-2" and "L-3" with a very weak nutrient mixture using Remo Nutrients' "Micro", "Grow", "Velokelp" and "MagNifiCal". Remo's feeding chart recommends 6ml/gal for week 2. I used .5ml/.5gal... 1/6th the recommended dose. - "L-1" was watered with just dechlorinated tap water. - Both adjusted to pH6.5 Day 11: - Temp: 69-76F - RH: 62-68% - No water - added sticky traps for fungus gnats, which have afflicted one of my girlfriend's orchids in our house. We've quarantined the orchid and will be giving our houseplants a few doses of BTI. Crossing my fingers that they don't cause me any issues in the tent! Day 12: - no signs of fungus gnats in tent - Temp: 69-77F - RH: 62-68% - No water Day 13: - no signs of fungus gnats in tent - turned humidifier off - ambient RH is about 60% - Temp: 69-77F - noticing leaf edges curling. Possibly due to high RH and/or over-watering. - Calibrated pH meter. Was off by +0.3 pH. - Watered lightly with pH adjusted tap water @ 6.4pH Day 14: - No water - Replaced the 24" Sunblaster T5HO fixture with a 24" Sunblaster LED, which now makes two of them. I plan on switching the 6400K T5 bulb with a 2700K bulb in the T5HO fixture. Once flowering starts, I'll pull out the two 6400K LED fixtures and put in the 2700K T5 fixtures (I still need to pick up one more T5 fixture so that i have two, which i'll be placing at either end of my 2x4 tent as supplemental lighting). - Distance to canopy (24w Sunblaster LED): 12" - Distance to canopy (HLG Elite 360): 24" - Elite 360 Light Intensity: 35%

Sept 25th a.m. - fed ea. Congo and Natural Mystic 1/2 volume H2o/ Molasses mix; C 2.75L / NM 2.5L - fresh LST where needed - light survey showed an imbalance with taller autoflower in the mix. It was LST’d into a lower profile and moved deeper into the corner. Light distance for the Congo etc is now dialed-in after a bit of a shuffle. *** reminder Oct 8 is Lights-Out *** 36 hrs of darkness 26th - followed-up on yesterdays LST and put some actual direction on the Nat Mystic Branches. Its a tightly spaced unit but the branches are getting into some open air now. Look-out for what happens next 27th, - everything looks great this morning. Big feeds tonight if soil allows; 6.5L congo / 6L NM ** topping observation ** In an effort to produce a 16 cola plant using Topping methods, i am in the middle of a side by side topping experiment, and it does look like one method, Does has an advantage over the other! Waiting for each branch to grow past its first Node, and then produce a second Node, this will be the place to top, once the plant grows Past this 2nd node, on each branch. What results is that you only snip each branch Once, after the original Topping. 5 snips will produce 16 Tops. Allow each branch to grow past the 2nd node, then Top. It will produce 4 nodes naturally on each branch. Better overall spacing/symmetry The other significant feature of this response, is that the Durban Poison was a full week behind the Congo & N.M., and it has caught-up and Passed the progress of the natural mystic. Both of these plants (congo/nm) used the extra topping on the upper branch, and its required longer periods for the 4 bud-sites to develop per branch and extend away from the plant. It required more delicate fiddling than the (d)Urban Poison. **** - short video of the Tent uploaded this morning - no feed tonight, too moist 29th a.m. - soil said Go this morning; 6.5L h2o/nutes for the congo & 6L for the natural mystic - Collected details from N.M. & Congo run-off - pulled Northern Light express auto from the tent and replaced her with a 3.5 week old Green Mountain Grape. Move was done to help acclimatize to the cmh lite, ahead of Flower BONUS, you can actually see a bit of a droop on the Congo leaves… this mornings feed was 2 days overdue; the pot was actually lite & confirmed for me the condition of the soil is OK and not waterlogged. Pushed her a little bit towards a Drier Bottom since her last feed. Nice to see that as I crank it up - GMG has been super-cropped on the 28th, to help establish an even canopy - Slip, Snap, lost a Cola. Even though it was the runt, its gonna be missed 30th - OK, did a little homework last nite and the timing could not be better for me, with regards to Flushing 3 plants, ahead of the move into Flower. This stems from capturing some of the run-off after a bigger feed. What resulted is I found a high EC value on the Natural Mystic (3200) that indicates a build-up of Salts in the soil. The Volume 33% says its a bit much… i have been aggressive in my nutrient values but its been incremental. Regardless N.M. gets a quick bath to flush out this bit o History. Congo had less liquid come through but was still an elevated value (EC 2300) and will receive a Flush as well. ((d)URBAN POISON barely had any liquid come out. It will be flushed as well. Call it a tune-up, I’m in. * should anybody see something from those results that I’m missing or misinterpreted… Id be happy to hear about it. Please & Thanks pH probably has something to do with it too, but I don't care right now Effluent details: -Nat Myst released 2L out the bottom after being fed 6L : I’m going to reduce the volume of Water & Nutes fed, targeting 15% run-off. (5L next feed) -Congo released 600ml after 6.5L was fed; Which is a reasonable amount in active use; close to 10% - with height a constant issue in a tent, in my basement… i’m super happy with how low this whole grow has stayed through Veg. Kinda shocked actually… pic #23 - flushed Natural Mystic w/ 20 gallons water - (the little kids pool that I inflate, to flush-in… of course, sprouted a whole shitload of leaks in the Bottom when I was about 18 gallons in. And Yeh, the discharge hose on my electric pump DID COME OUT OF THE SINK DRAIN, 2x. I had water everywhere lol. Actually out in the garage taking care of things right now) Oct 1 - last day week 7 - re-applied the pins holding Nat Mystic in place. She is damp, Healthier & Hungry soon; target = 2 Meals b4 Lights-out. With Congo flush 100% happening… both Meal volumes tbd - been a busy week & things are about to change again. Learnings impact all the different grows. I’ve never flushed Mid-grow; and I’m liking-it !

Fast track to harvest. 2-3 weeks to go I suppose. Issue that made coco dry 2 weeks ago cause tip burn or i overfed. Anyway - patience and work on rh and humidity - that’s the plan. Rh approx 40-45%, temp (too high, I know)- 30•c. Wish me 🍀

Hey everyone! Just a quick recap from last week: we've removed the LST bands and are letting the plants grow freely. They are looking fantastic and have developed a very dense canopy. 🌿 Now, we're at a bit of a crossroads regarding when to start the flowering phase. The back three plants from our second grow are only 23 days old, and I’d prefer not to have any plants outside the tent. Today, we're changing the light cycle from 20/4 to 18/6. This will give the plants more time to rest, which should help them grow even stronger. 🌱 The 18/6 cycle means 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness, providing the plants with more downtime to recuperate and grow. Excited to see how they respond to this change! Day 45 (First Grow): Hey everyone! Exciting update: we’ve built a SCROG (Screen of Green) net for the plants! 🌿 For those who don’t know, a SCROG net helps to train the plants to grow horizontally, which maximizes light exposure to all parts of the plant and promotes more even growth. We're using it with our six plants to ensure they all get plenty of light and develop a uniform canopy. We've also placed a hygrometer among the plants to measure the humidity between the leaves. We've noticed that the humidity sometimes exceeds 70% in those areas. Do we need more fans, an intake ventilation system, or would a dehumidifier be a better option? We’re leaning towards adding more fans to improve air circulation, but we'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions! Day 46 (First Grow): Hey everyone! Exciting news: the plants have names now! 🌿 This will make it easier to identify and keep track of each one, especially if they get moved around. It should also help you all follow along more easily with the pictures we post. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to watch them grow and thrive!

Harvest Week. I hope all my North American friends had a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving. I harvested on Tuesday, so due to Thanksgiving prep. I'm late posting the harvest report. Apollo is a wonderful plant to grow. She stayed short. I tried to lst by tying down. Apollo limbs pushed up the pins many times. She is strong and resilient. After watering only 2 liters with Vit B, Recharge and Signal yesterday, I put her in the 3#x3tent in the dark. The leaves were showing the fade using up the nutrients. 11/21 is day Apollo's 71 day and 43 in flower. The harvest window per RQS is 70-75 days from seed. Apollo's buds are thick, dense, stinky citrus floral and sticky. As she hangs to dry, she is pungent and stinky. I am so proud of this grow. I didn't overfeed so I have experienced the color fade to yellow as foods are used up and the delicate colors emerge in the sugar leaves. I am very impressed with Royal Queen Seeds F1 genetics. So much so I bought Milky Way F1 and Medusa F1. I will definitely have another Apollo grow in January. Thank you @James at RQS. After hanging to dry 13 days and a little bit more trim, Smokable bud 128 g or 4,5 oz. Wow this is my best harvest and grow ever. I put her in the jars to cure. Apollo F1 had a huge base stem and was multi branching-even the side stems had side stems. The stems were sturdy. No support is needed for her branches She stayed short at 26 inches tall. I definitely pushed her on the watering. When I saw no runoff after 2.5 liters of water, I upped to 3 ltr. Then 3.5, then 1 gallon. I watered 2 liters, let the water absorb, then slowly add another 2 liters. There was a small amount of run off at the time of watering but was all gone by the next day. It could have been evaporation, but I really think it was consumption. Consumption is an indicator of yield. As densely bushy as she is, I'm estimating at least 90 grams. So for future grows, especially for very bushy plants, I will defoliate at least 2x during early and midflower to open up the canopy and let the plants bulk up more. She did show some nutrient (cal-mag) deficiency and for the next Apollo grow, I will push the feed a bit. I'm excited and a bit sad to see this grow come to an end at the same time. I really want to sample the smoke and feel the effect. Apollo is a balanced Hybrid. Thanks for the visit. Apollo and I appreciate the likes, views and comments. Be sure to check out my Recipe diary for some tasty edibles, basic infused sugar, butter, honey recipes to kickoff your edible making experience. Also some health and beauty recipes as well. Have wonderful week. Happy growing and have fun. Natrona ******************************** Apollo F1 is a vigorous auto flowering hybrid that boasts a strong structure and delicious aromas. Created from inbred lines descending from Lemon, Black Domina, and Sugar Magnolia, Apollo F1 inherited premium genetics from her predecessors. Like the ancient Greek deity she's named after, Apollo F1 produces balanced, creative effects that might inspire your perception of music, dance, poetry, and more! Mature and well-dried Apollo F1 flowers boast an upfront fresh aroma that combines crisp pine and herbal notes with the invigorating kick of ripe citrus peels. Accentuating these notes is a rich backdrop of dark vanilla and hints of lavender, reminiscent of modern cannabis varieties descending from Cookies and other US lineages. Apollo F1 produces a resin loaded with plenty of cannabinoids (predominantly THC) and a complex mix of terpenes including myrcene, terpinolene, farnesene, caryophyllene, ocimene, limonene, and linalool. As a result, Apollo F1 produces a balanced effect very typical of a well-bred hybrid—expect a powerfully relaxing physical sensation (characteristic of myrcene, farnesene, and linalool) mixed with a notable euphoria and motivating kick produced by terpinolene, ocimene, and limonene. Apollo F1 is a robust cultivar with the telltale compact structure of an indica-dominant hybrid. Plants reach a medium height with many tightly spaced branches that quickly become loaded with bud sites and thick, dark-green foliage. Apollo F1 flowers automatically, and her entire life cycle lasts roughly 80 days. Come harvest time, Apollo F1 will reward you with big, dense flowers bearing a thick layer of trichomes. So far 2 ounces under the single mars TS1000 7 oz from the 3 plants at the hps flower room One plant weighed and curing from the hps dark devils x3 First hps dark devil weighing 3 ounces. Dark devil (lighter color) hps grow Look: 9 Smell: 8 (chocolate scent) Density: 4 Moisture: 2 Taste: 7 High: 10 Crash: 0 This dark devil is a little less dense then the other but still looks very unique with its purplish tinge and orange hairs. The smell is a chocolate lovers heaven as the smoke is very flavorful with the delicious scent of chocolate! The taste is diesely with a hint of earthly undertones and aftertaste that tastes even better imo. As for the high, it's a slow and steady mellow high; high function kind of high, not crazy relaxing but not super energetic. It's a very nice and calm get things done feeling. The end of the high is very mellow as well; there's really no crash and my hunger hasn't spiked and I'm an hour and a half into it! Summary: This strain of dark devil is a good choice is your a high functioning smoker and enjoy a nice mellow relaxing high with aromas that make the experience just that much better! 8/10

Well all going good around here. This week will see a significant stretch, now that she is heading towards full flowering. Will stay close and keep removing leaves blocking the light to bud sites. 👍🏻👍🏻🌱🌱

This has been a dream to grow the only reason I marked it as neutral and not easy because of it being such a flowery bub.So you just had to keep an eye on the humidity apart from that she stood up to everything even when I was starving her from Calmag 😂🤷 Can't wait to be back with the smoke report

Well, I harvested one of the gxz, which considering the space it had to grow in, gave me around 230g wet, so hopefully looking at 2 z when dry. Really happy with it. Big up Barneys Farm. Leaving the other gxz and the auto for another week. You can see from the photos, the autos aren’t quite ready yet. Looking forward to wrapping a skin around this and lighting it...

Overall Development Week 4 marks the transition into mid-flower. Stretch has mostly stopped, and the plants are now directing energy into bud formation. The canopy remains uneven, with some taller, thinner phenotypes and others more compact and structured. Bud sites are clearly established across all main branches. Flower stacking is progressing steadily, and early cluster formation is visible on the tops. Plant Health & Observations • Significant yellowing on older fan leaves, especially mid-to-lower canopy. • Some plants appear pale green overall, indicating high nutrient demand during bulk transition. • One or two phenotypes remain darker green and structurally stronger. • Lower interior growth is lighter and less vigorous. • Selective removal of old yellow leaves was continued to improve airflow and light penetration. Despite visible leaf fade, bud development continues actively. Bud Development • Flower clusters are expanding and beginning to connect along the stems. • Pistil production is strong and consistent. • Buds are not yet dense but are clearly transitioning into the bulk phase. • Resin production is beginning to increase. This week represents the start of the main swelling period. Environmental Adjustments • Temperature reduced slightly (~1°C) to stabilize the flowering environment. • Airflow maintained across canopy level. • Canopy density moderately thinned to prevent moisture buildup. • Light coverage remains strong across the upper layer. Current Focus (Entering Week 5) • Support nutrient demand during bulk phase. • Prevent excessive early leaf loss. • Maintain stable humidity to protect developing flowers. • Monitor weaker phenotypes closely for further decline or nutrient imbalance. Overall, the crop is entering the critical mid-flower stage. The next two weeks will determine final bud density and structure.
