Blueberry Headband OJ Cheese Update Dec 29 Day 50 Flower Have noticed an immediate response from the plants after the leaching and light raising. 24” seems to be the magic number. Work up from 30-40% strength at seedling and gradually move up to 75% at the end of veg. By the third to last week of flowering should be at 100%. Have fed the Girls nutes Weds. Cheese got no N as it’s supposedly within three weeks of harvest. Next week will leach heavily and feed only water. The rest of the Girls got the full treatment. NPK and CalMag. This is three days after leaching. Tried leaving the exit fan on so the humidity wouldn’t climb too high during the evening. Turned the heater off as well so it wouldn’t be running constantly as the air was being sucked out anyway. The temp reached 59°F. A tad too cold. The next evening, even though the RH was still high, I left the fan off. Thought the heater was re-plugged in but no. Temp only went down as far as 62°F. Still too low but better. The third night everything was plugged in normally and 65° was the nighttime low. Acceptable. Going to keep the nighttime temp there for the remainder of the grow. Colors should appear. Blueberry Headband is doing well. #1 is sprouting new calyxes from the ground up and the flowers are turning a dark purple. It seems way ahead of #2 which seems to be behind them all. New calyx growth there as well but the buds are much smaller with virtually no red hairs while #1 looks like it’s almost ready to harvest if you were judging by the hairs. The aroma is intoxicating! The Orange Juice is leaping ahead! Looks like it’s getting ready to harvest as well but there has been an explosion of new calyxes and swelling hasn’t started on any of the babes yet. The Cheese may be starting. So, about three weeks for Cheese and 5 weeks for the rest. By my guesstimation, these should’ve been vegged for another two weeks at least. That would be eight weeks! Big learning curve this week as I metered my well water which I’ve been relying on more and more as bottled is expensive. Neither I nor my dog drink it. TDS is over 700 PPM. Almost double the safe consumption level of 400 PPM. Have leached the plants once more extensively using RO water with a final .5Gal of PHed water with SuperThrive. Fast Buds has been very kind in extending me the opportunity to try our their new strain C.A. There's not a lot of information out there about this strain yet, other than it is supposed to be indica dominant. No solid leads on the name that I have found. I'd going with a guess of Cali Airlines for now (though I suspect this may be a CBD strain). Put the seed straight into the soil in the final container (3 gal grow bag) on March 3rd. I'll spray the top of the soil once a day until I see the sprout appear. Then I'll let the tap root do its thing and find the water below in the soil. The soil was watered heavily 2 days before planting the seed, then left in the tent to get the soil to temperature. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since Fast Buds has been kind enough to allow me to preview their new CC and CA strains I am now going to be starting a new seed every 2 weeks. This should allow me to get all of the plants I want to grow this season in the perpetual harvest rotation. I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water as needed. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around 3 week I'll do a FIM cut/pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope LST only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. I lollipop them today!!!!!😁😁😁😁😁😁 It's their 37 day and they just started getting into Flower and getting taller so I Lollipoped them and did a little bit of defoliation so the light will get to the bit lower buds sites since I did some LST in a bit later stage which went incredible. But it meant some buds sites are big but still a bit lower in comparison so I didn't take them out of course. And i did some SCroG but took it out the day before the lollipop and we'll see if the girls are fine I will put it back in 2 days or so depending on the plant growth

Peace Growmies💚 die zweite Woche ist rum. Sie wächst weiterhin schön in die Breit. Die Lampe habe ich auf 60% gestellt also ca bisschen über 30 Watt. PPFD - 280 und DLI - 17. Dünger gab es minimal paar Tropfen, immer umständlich wenn man nur mit 100ml gießt😅

Grown out this week and got them ready for the early flower growth. Trimmed heavy and wired all branches away from each other. LST in full effect. Hoping it’s not too much trauma for them.. they proved me wrong. Bounced back with vigor and bright excitement! Eager to see these buds start forming 👀

Very nice strain, classic smell like citrous and mango. Compact plant with lot of dense buds.

Hey everyone, Day 14 and things are going ok so far. I put all the plants in a pop up greenhouse so I could add some humidity. Hoping for some good growth this week as weather continues to be nice.

Ich hoffe das sie langsam aufhört zu wachsen denn ich habe nun echt Probleme mit der Höhe in dem Zelt. Bis heute verlief dieser Grow ohne Schwierigkeiten. Die Blüte setzte sehr schnell ein und es haben sich sehr viele Buds gebildet, ebenso ist die Anzahl der Seitentriebe nicht zu verachten. Das ist eine sehr gute Sorte! Ich werde heute die Erde durchspülen um Salze aus den Topf zu bekommen und anschließend wieder Düngen.

Going to try to squeeze a tester meph plant into my inhouse genetics run. Things will be tight! Super excited, this strain sounds delicious! 1/4/22 at 4:20 put bean into paper towel. Checked it 20 hours later and it had cracked with a small tap root. Left it to grow a larger tap root for an additional 24 hours and not much had changed. So I transplanted to its final 2 gallon home. Praying she pokes through in the next day or so!
