Have 2 problems with the girls. 1. 3 plants showing signs of cal mag deficiency on lower leaves. 2. 1 plant showing what seems like potassium deficiency. Ph has been perfect all week between 5.8-6.3 I flushed for 1 day with ph water and then added nutes with increased calmag and bud blood since i will be sending into flower in 3 days.

Topped her to third node to prepare her for manifolding. Cut off the tip as well as the branches on the second node. Had to move the camera up again since she's growing so fast 😁

Week five of flower This week they have just been fed water by the autopots , I added a little calmag as there was a deficiency. Tomorrow I will give them a little Canna Flores as they look hungry. I clearly didn't give them enough bio bloom, in the soil. The jacks Toe jam has gone from lemon amnesia , to sweet with a little cheese aroma. So I will harvest her in the coming week as the trichomes are 90% cloudy. Apart from that another flood in the cellar so been bailing out buckets , my tent is on a pallet.

After a week of growth, the Blackberry is out of the dome. It was overgrowing it, so I just transplanted it into its final autowatering pot for simplicity. I normally go seedling pot to 1.5g pot to 3-5 gallon pot, but this very tall 2.5 gallon airpot will be a first for me. I think the benefits it will receive outweigh the cons. I am now running a humidifier at 60 percent RH, and will be watching the plants carefully throughout the week as I dial up the nutrients and ensure a good VPD for the plants. The Blackberry is a bit more vigorous and healthy than the Blackberry Kush by Dutch Passion growing with it. I hope the Kush catches up, but I am very pleased with the Fastbuds at this early state. Thanks for reading, and stay safe everyone! 👍🌱 Day 10: started adding silicon and rapid start (and a little pH down) and upped the trio slightly. In case anyone is wondering if there is any perlite, there is! It's just chilling under layer of pure coco. Right now there is 3l of perlite per pot, with the highest concentration lowest in the pot. The Blackberry is growing very well at this point, and definitely does not mind the earlier transplant! Day 12: I lowered the light height by 8in, down to my more usual vegitative height, to ensure maximum light exposure for this vigorous plant. The Blackberry is doing well, and will definitely get topped after it gets another node or so of growth. Day 13: I am running low on calimagic as a cal mag source, so I switched out to Greenleaf nutrients cal-mag pro that I have a bag of (that will last forever!) It has a bit more nitrogen, which is good for the current plant stage, so I can save the calimagic for flowering if the plants don't mind the switch. I mix about .5-.6 EC worth of Cal mag, which is about .625tsp per 5 gallons of the Cal mag pro. I will have this reflected on tomorrow's diary entry.

Major changes here at Night Owl summer camp. Have had a rodent problem! Something has figured out a way to get into the dormitory (greenhouse)and had a feast on my plants. Five branches off the Harvey Wallbanger, and two each off the Vanilla Fizz and the 91Grapes. Oh my gosh! I needed to do something else. My wife gave me a spare bedroom for a grow nursery! What a girl I have! So spent the day yesterday moving tents and hanging lights and got the girls all situated in the new dormitory away from some vampire in the night. Will give an individual plant update shortly. ***ok, back. Let’s start with the Harvey Wallbanger. Miss Harvey was on her way to becoming my most interesting grow to date before she was devoured by some creature of the night. She’s a cross of Orange Diesel and Cookie Smasher and even at this early stage of flowering she’s producing a nice glossy sheen and sweet aroma to match. She is a towering 48 inches making her the tallest autoflower that I have ever grown. She is slender and resembles the structure of a clone but I believe her flowers themselves will be massive in size and trichomes production. To date she has yet to make a single leaf with more than five points on it. She is truly interesting. Next let’s explore the Vanilla Fizz. Ms. Fizz didn’t get it as bad as Miss Harvey but suffered significant injuries as well. Loosing two full branches and enough bottom bud sites that the bottom 30 percent is now already cleaned up. She is the bushiest of the three with plenty of growing bud sites. Standing a proud forty three inches tall she comes in last in height but may be stacked up the nicest. Last but certainly not least comes the 91Grapes. Since she received the least amount damage from nightly feastings we are going to feature her until harvest. Only loosing two branches and not much else she was spared from destruction. She is massive!!! Not a massive amount of vegetation just in size over all. She’s 44 inches tall and big enough around for a bear hug. She takes up the entire 40 inch by 40 inch tent all by herself. She was probably spared damage due to her size. Pom poms are everywhere as is evidence of cheerleading practices and she is captain of the squad. Going to have to get a little more creative with the way watering will be conducted in the future. The formula 707 soil is for retaining moisture in outdoor conditions so I am afraid that it will retain moisture indoors and be a pest problem.

Wow I had my led way to close at 22" should have been 34" but live and learn . They were also a little river watered but I've fixed those issues and given the girl fresh water then a nutrient feed and foiler spray. Very excited to see what next week bring in living the genetics resilient already is great ..besides that not much to say but have a great week canna family ...

For those who follow me could see that I was absent and I apologize to you and the ladies in this tent. These seedsman northern lights are tough. I was out of town for work during their prime stretch phase and all they got was straight water added to the res. Two of them are specimens still and the one without the floraflex feeding cap isn’t getting the nutes distributed they way the plant likes so today I’ll modify one and see if I can make her happier. In the end I know they’ll end up strong but it was during the crucial stretch period and they needed more than they got. All we can do is move on and try to make them flourish. Thanks for looking. added a massive amount of fish shit from my aquarium giving a massive amount of organic matter to the microbes and infusing the pots with a massive number of microbes from the fish tank. they are looking like the end of week 3 at week 2 so let's see if i can keep this momentum throughout the entire flower.

One didn't get hit enough water from the sprinkler so it got stunted hard and had to go, the plan was to only do 2 this run so all good, I used this one in a breeding experiment and it recovered very well despite the conditions, but this is not part of this diary. Starting this week I will also add ORP and CF metrics, the ORP probe is not calibrated and values are to be taken with a grain of salt. Values are average of the day. New week, she is developing very fast now, we are tying the branches down almost every day. We bought an EC meter, and we finally know if we are within acceptable parameters. Tap water is approximately 70 ppm and after adding fertilizers the ppm was close to 850. We are also planning to make our own colloidal silver for use in clones. If all goes well, we will start flowering in the ninth week.
