TommyBVRSA75 Spring Season 2024 - Anaconda Seeds - Anaconda strain Another season and we start a new cycle filled with the desire to get the best out of our grows with the best we know. Anaconda Seeds... well, I already knew their seed boxes from the grow shop where I worked, and it was always a mystery for me to know which custom bank this was. From the conversations I had with friends and because very few had paid much attention to this bank, it remained a mystery. Until one day, a good friend told me about Anaconda Seeds and a grow of Strong Skunk he had been doing, and his idea was to tell me that these were plants with a very special sensitivity. About the Strong Skunk, that friend mentioned a special characteristic, which was the extreme sensitivity that the strain had, due to the experience of another friend, who due to a silly mistake in programming the timer, the strain had simply revegetated with that error that would be minimal in other strains, but with that strain from Anaconda Seeds, in particular, one day when the timer didn't disconnect, it was enough to trigger the nightmare of all growers, which is revegetating and what that represents (if there are overloads in water and nutrients, flushes can alter things, problems... but revegetating is like throwing the grow in the trash) and in the conversation, it became very clear that Anaconda Seeds, a bank that doesn't spend millions on advertising, had delicate and sensitive genetics, and that left me very curious. My thought was that if this bank worked with eight or nine strains, they had to be very stable, and a sign of genetic stability is, for example, how a prolonged lighting extension can represent a tremendous shock for the grow. And that’s how we left it, about seven years ago. The overwhelming majority of commercial seed machines that concentrate several banks often didn't even have Anaconda Seeds as an option, but as nothing happens without a reason, one of these days I least expected, I was reading about "strain hunting" and about how the legendary Shantibaba, in many of his travels, added two very particular seeds to create an exceptional hybrid in the late 80s, and how a couple of seeds from some South American sativas, from the border line of Brazil with Venezuela, in Roraima (Brazil) and another pair of incredibly vigorous indicas, from the south of India and the mountains of Chennai, were the genetic parental kick of one of the best and most famous strains in the history of recreational cannabis, the unbeatable in every title, White Widow. I am generally very reluctant to grow classic strains (be it OG Kush; White Widows, Purple Haze; Northern Lights Blue and others of the sort) but something I talked about with a friend a couple of months ago made me change my mind. First, that friend told me that the folks at Anaconda Seeds live off producing for dispensaries and have maintained a structure for many years, taking care of their parentals with almost religious care and that they still maintain parentals from the strains brought by Shantibaba almost 30 years ago, and that impacted me tremendously... my immediate thought was... if they are based on less than ten strains from which they produce their seeds, the genetics must necessarily be among the most stable you can find. Then with another one of my friends and fellow growers, he told me, and I was very doubtful that in one of the Anaconda strains, a medium yield for a space of one square meter could easily produce more than 700 grams, and as I told you, I was flabbergasted by the amount and trying to understand why Anaconda's genetics could reach that mark, when it is simply known that with some experience, good materials, good substrates and nutrients, and an optimal conditions framework throughout the grow, reaching 350 grams dry is a success across the board... but that friend told me, "well, look, with a strain called Anaconda from some guys with a custom bank with that same name, I've had an incredible plant that gave me almost 600 grams dry, in a cabinet of 80 X 80... and I swear, I was left thinking, "let's see, what a story this is... 600 dry... well, no Rippen or bomb PK has any way of making a grow yield that much," and then he invited me to his house and he was already doing another grow, of a Russian Gold from Anaconda Seeds and when I could see it, I almost fainted from what I saw, I mean a trained grow that had almost at the same level, like about 30 huge colas that came from the base to the top with the same thickness and terpenes that put your senses in ecstasy. So empirically, because I saw it, I could witness a wonder of cannabis nature, with a massive amount of huge buds and the most fragrant I remember, and my thought was "I have to get started for a season of Anaconda's things, no matter what..." And so, I was already set with the unbeatable winter season of Ripper Seeds and the Washing Machine and the Brain Cake, super productive and top-quality herb, thinking that when the spring season started, I would get to work on the superlative Anaconda and the White Widows from the friends at Anaconda Seeds. And so I show you the first moments... a very fast sprouting and of great vitality and in just under 36 hours from the wet paper towel, it moved to the jiffy peats and at 48 hours, already with the pots prepared with a very solid substrate recipe (Complete mix from Top Crop + Hubey MT Mix (a mix of mycorrhizae/root bacteria and Trichoderma) + Kraken Mycorrhizae and the right amount of Superguano and Top Vulcan and finally the TNC Bactorr s13 factor, with nitrogen-fixing bacteria... so marvel of marvels, we already have the base for the living soil where the grows will develop. In this particular case, the Anaconda, which is already germinated and whose outline will begin its growth process. As is customary, the lights at this moment are 30 cms from the substrate and with a dimmer power at 60%, meaning we are outputting about 160 watts (out of 300 possible) and in an 18-hour cycle from seedling to vegetative. Today, January 20, 2024, marks the beginning of the cycle which, according to the forecast, will last around 14 weeks minimum (and up to 17 maximum) depending on the degree of maturation. Therefore, today is officially day 1 of the grow and as always, leaving the reins of success in growth to God Jah and hoping that he can always protect me against the dangers that can arise when we set out to develop this plant and that for those who wish us ill, as well as in the capacity to produce in optimal quantity and quality. To my brothers as always, I ask for the like... I’m taking big steps trying to earn the title of Master in GF and only with your help can we reach that goal. 420 to everyone and Green Greets always...

TommyBVRSA75 Day 9 - (Vegetative day 2) 30/01/2024 If something is simply overwhelming, it's the power of the strains from Anaconda Seeds. Here you see their leading strain, the Anaconda, and with just 9 days into the cycle, it's fantastic how much they've grown. To be clear, I've also prepared their Complete Mix substrate with everything necessary to turn it into an (even more) living soil if possible. The TNC bacteria and BactorS13 with nitrogen-fixing bacteria, the Hubey MT Mix that combines mycorrhizae, Trichoderma, and root growth hormones, and of course, the solid inputs from Top Crop, with the Vulcan and Superguano, and here it is thriving, a plant that is in its second day of vegetative. Incredible. What can I say, winter continues to be a wonder regarding very high temperatures for the season and, of course, the absence of outside rain, resulting in very low relative humidity for this time of year, around 60%. Today was the day to start shaping the growth, and you can already see in the photos the LST guides and it's growing like crazy. God Jah, you are being so good to me and my friends these last two seasons, and may you continue to protect my grows from nosy neighbors and especially for giving me unbeatable conditions to grow. A mega 420 greeting to the usual buddies who follow me, and let's see if we keep having opus magnas of the cannabis world. Green Greets...

TommyBVRSA75 Day 17 of full cycle _Week 2 Vegetative Anaconda strain (by Anaconda Seeds). Let’s see how we can define this in one word...incredible...across the board, incredible, and now the analysis of what’s happening with this grow begins. Without a doubt, top-notch quality when it comes to this strain and this seed bank. A genetics from a "highly reputable" mother and overwhelming in what this vegetative phase teaches us. A vigor that is uncommon, a quality in its development that, no matter how much I imagined it in my best expectations, what has come is superior and superlative. And if Ripper Seeds last season had already brought me one of the most incredible moments in cannabis growing...what’s happening now is beyond any calculation. Let’s see...let’s add what the BactorS13 does regarding what bacteria can do to give us a "living soil," and there we have them integrating nitrogen without the need to add it in nutrients. The second variable of superlative quality comes from the initial mix of Hubey MT Mix and what sounds like high-quality mycorrhizae, Trichoderma as a protective symbiosis, and some root development hormones...pufff...the best I’ve ever had, and it's that simple. If we kick it off with a great substrate like the Complete Mix from Top Crop, add just the right amount of volcanic ash (Vulcan); the Superguano (which is the essential potassium contribution in solid fertilizer), and then include a whole range of bacteria, fungi, and hormones that support the "living" medium for growing...and you can see it clearly, a grow with 17 days of seed germination, seedling, and vegetative cycle, and here you have what I consider one of the best growths I’ve ever had. To make everything come out more than perfect, a winter where indoor temperatures don’t drop below 23ºC in the middle of winter and during dark hours, and if we add to that an almost constant relative humidity over 60%...there’s everything that is perfection for the grow to be giving such perfect size. In less than ten days, it will be time to lower the cycle from 18/6 to 12/12, and with that, you already know...we’ll unleash the flowering, and from the start, it’s crystal clear that this genetic quality will bring magnificent things, and it’s anticipated without needing much futurism. In this, the conditions and variables, if you control them with more or less mastery over the years and experience, you’ll know when you have something exceptional in your hands, and what I have in my hands from this little-known bank, Anaconda Seeds, is across the board what’s to come. If you look, what’s happening with this strain, Anaconda, is just perfect, and it seems that something magnificent is already in motion, and you’ll have time to comment on the evolution. A mega 420 salute to the usual friends who follow me, and let’s see if we keep having opus magnas of the cannabis world. Green Greets...

TommyBVRSA75 Brothers growers. Let's see, and why am I not on GD "selling" the fisherman’s tale? And for the simplicity of an image that is always worth more than a thousand words, here you have the evolution of the strain Anaconda... let me tell you just how simple it is. The first time I saw anything from Anaconda Seeds was when I worked at a grow shop a few months ago, and there we had some brown boxes with old-school stamps and letters that we kept for gifts. And by the type of box, my idea was that the seeds from that bank must have been in the refrigerator we had for storing seeds for years, and that it would be like abandoned. Then one of my coworkers told me... these guys have a Strong Skunk strain "that has been the best strain I've ever grown," and I swear I wasn't very convinced. Many times when customers were buying, the offer seed was enough for them, many would tell me... "man, let's see if that seed you want to give me from those brown boxes, let's see if you have it there, like it was 20 years ago... let’s see if you can give me another one, because those aren't worth it for me"... and partly, I didn’t know much about those boxes, and I confess I didn’t even pay much attention to the name of the bank... Anaconda Seeds. Well, thanks to the buddies from Oaseeds and in one of the last seed orders I made, I decided to order three seeds that were on promotion, and more for the photo than for any indication, I decided to order from Anaconda Seeds, in a triple order - one Anaconda; one White Widow; and the already mentioned Strong Skunk that my colleague had already told me about. So if you notice, before putting them into germination, I was looking for all the references I could find and couldn't find. A bank where on GD, you don’t have a diary of a photo-dependent of its own... the only thing I found was from a Russian buddy who put it in an automatic from this bank and things went so badly for him that maybe the Russian friend should win an award for the weirdest bud you can find on GD (a true cannabis wheat spike with pistils half a meter long, almost without calyx leaves and with some purple tones (about the bud, the thing is very simple, the guy hasn’t had a light, be it LED or HID, with 10 watts; surely with super low temperatures and surely with nutrition lacking any quality, and the only thing from Anaconda Seeds, an automatic from this Russian friend, and through the translator, he himself noted that the grow (his first trip) had been a terrible experience. I asked you here questions, that only brother #m0use could and already with my grows in progress answer... and the answers "pushed" me for the only things about this bank, with a question from three years ago from some brother grower who also back then was asking about Anaconda Seeds and what to expect from the seeds of this bank. Well, the surprises, and then when things get going, sometimes they are HUGE... and with the two "ladies" from Anaconda Seeds that I have going, I am blown away by the evidence of what these strains have presented to me in less than 20 days. Incredible... from a super tight genetics; with a stability and quality that I couldn’t expect, and for what they show as hybrids, they are simply magnificent. The smells after 19 days are already penetrating... for example, in this Anaconda strain, the myrcene terpene is already very present, meaning those aromas between mango and oranges; an incredible primary structure strain with a staggering secondary growth, already with very well-designed internodes and in projection of the stems and the structure of its primary leaves that are true sheets in size. Many successes in the approach... and for me, it was very clear, how to start a spring season with the conditions I had in mind... growth in soil substrate; loading it with growth bacteria; with first-level mycorrhizae; with Hubey trichoderma that is superlative in quality and with atmospheric nitrogen capture bacteria for conversion of harmony and then, in this season, I have always been very clear that Top Crop would be the approach for the way to do the grow, meaning a biomineral that by its design, is one that is applied once a week (meaning that every two days, the compounds are applied and then, the option of 20-liter airpot pots, to maintain moisture balance in the substrate). So I designed the season for: 1- Starting from the Complete Mix which is already a very good substrate from Top Crop, the first approach is to create a "living soil" like the crown of a pine tree, and before going out to germinate, taking the Complete Mix, I prepared it with Hubey MT Mix (for me, the best mix of endo mycorrhizae; Trichoderma and root support bacteria on the market - a "German" contribution that is just that, German, and whatever it is, German, quality is indisputable. 2 - Making the preparation, already with the inclusion of the three "aces" of "living soil" from Top Crop - the Vulcan; the Superguano; and the Micro Vita, and from there on, here is the base for a huge success (so huge that I couldn’t even imagine it, not even in my best dreams). 3- It’s not exclusive to this grow season, but the lottery of the LEDs for the grow space I have, I started to "win" the day my area and necessary PPFD calculations for a perfect light distribution went through making the option for the two TS1000 from Mars Hydro (meaning that the 300 watts for 0.65m² and the dimmer control that allows you to manage 50%, meaning that the newly germinated seeds and seedlings in the initial weeks are loaded in distribution with 150 watts (which will be the maximum power of one, distributed over the LED area of two) and in two weeks, load the dimmer from 50% to 100% (meaning up to 300 watts spread over the two panels of the TS1000. My calculations, for example, have clarified to me that by panel dispersion, the full spectrum of two TS1000 is more cost-effective than, for example, the 450 watts of a TS3000, since the dispersion of PPFD from the two TS1000 covers much better than the dispersion of a single TS3000 panel. 4 - To complete later and already heading into flowering, my LED set is completed with two TLEDs of 26 watts for flowering, at 3200 Kelvin and this contribution of 52 watts, which could be understood as not very important, is significant because they allow adding a "Far Red" spectrum (more than 720√m) and that if, for example, combined with CO2 contributions, are fundamental for having superior quality buds. After all the analysis I just made, what stands out is, above all, that if to everything I have already mentioned... if we add to that two strains whose genetics - paternal - and more than backcrosses where the seed already goes through generations of backcrosses that started with problems, what these people from Anaconda Seeds propose to growers is genetic stability that comes from the magnificent stability of the "paternal" and if as they indicate, there is the background of a Brazilian Indica with many generations of crosses and the famous sativas from the mountains of Chennai in southern India and based on this stability of paternal and not by the work of "luck", there are genetics with structure to simply, in 19 days, have grows, like the grow of this Anaconda, that has impressed me like few strains have ever been able to impress me. So I ask you to enjoy what the friends from Anaconda Seeds have "lent" me in their genetics and more, I ask you to pay attention to how this grow is on the brink of perfection. God Jah always puts his cherry on top and faith in him always ends up giving me wonderful things... but I invite you to register how in 18 days, the grow of the Anaconda strain is so overwhelming and wonderful... not a sign of deficiency; not a sign of "imbalance"; not a hint of signs that something could go wrong in such perfect development and I invite anyone who follows me to show me that in 18 days, something better could be done. I am impressed like few times I have been and what is coming up, with the passing of the days, is a grow that is going to leave a mark for the future. 420 always and I challenge you to make all the comments you want, for the wonderful things happening in this grow of this Anaconda strain. Something very good is being designed day by day; hour by hour...

TommyBVRSA75 So after a wonderful vegetative period where not a single deficiency has been revealed and with the quick switch to 12/12 cycle, the Anaconda strain is already starting to show its flowering. I ask you to notice the number of flowering buds that are crucial for potential bud development. Fantastic genetics from Anaconda Seeds and the way the two Anaconda Seeds strains we have in grow are developing. The Anaconda has been an incredibly vibrant plant with amazing characteristics from the start, and the White Widow is demonstrating just how incredible this strain is. Let's talk about good things and ask God Jah to give us protection and that something needed to end up with something superlative. 420 always and Green Greets to all the brother growers.

TommyBVRSA75 Second week fully in flowering and now, according to what my experience has always taught me, it's time to understand what the grow will be in its most important characteristics. 1- Perfect vegetative growth that has lasted 26 days since what I consider the time when the seedling effectively becomes a vegetative plant, and I've counted...26 days, and the change to 12/12 (flowering induction) has been done with almost mathematical perfection. 2- Superlative genetics from Anaconda Seeds and a grow where there isn't a leaf, a stem, or any other structure showing a single sign of genetic instability or anything indicative that the work of rushing and stabilizing generations has been hurried or that the parentals that created this beauty of strains I've chosen for the spring season grow. Exceptional, and credit should be given to those who do it well. If Anaconda Seeds' philosophy is to use an institutional page (.org) instead of a commercial one and that the bank is a "Custom," relatively unknown, then if it's to work like this, they should keep it up, and may God Jah protect you with this philosophy. Better little advertising and very high-quality grows than "bud photos from mainstream burger joints" and an image "that sells" for sales, and then "shoddy grows" and lower quality plants. 3 - Concerns always, and now the main one is how the already very evident flowering "takes off." Very good internodal space, indicating almost perfect potential for a yield like I've rarely had. A succession of branches with structure for top-quality buds in dimension and density...but a very particular characteristic of both strains, short and plentiful "sugar" leaves, and let's see the structure we'll have in the buds. It sounds like super "pistillate" flowers to me, with buds of little calyx structure, and let's have faith that the resin load can bring what is distinctive of great weed. And so we hope... 4 - The terpenes are still undefined, but there is already a particular smell that I recognize from "daughters" of parentals leaning towards skunk. A sweet smell is already clear. It's not what Ripper gifted us last season, which are the complex "dawn" awakenings of things that today have come to be called USA Strains, but here is the classic awakening of terpenes from those cannabis that set the standard, and the Anaconda strain has just those sweet "rays" of aroma that are so characteristic of Indicas (especially due to the very evident bushy character), and what I "read" in the small, narrow leaves is that there is a Sativa load here that is not negligible, and I am very curious to see how in full flowering and fattening, and here come the old experiences, of things that predominantly have an Indica finish in the last weeks, "excludes" the residual traces of Sativa. Let's see...what do you think will happen with the Anaconda in the final weeks?!? One of the most interesting unknowns I've had as a grower, and I'll always share with you what happens...but in less than a month, I will be able to tell you if what comes from the Anaconda is something to remember for its superlative quality...or for a smoke that, while not bad, will just be another experience. 5- Humidity, always the enormous humidity, and nothing bothers me as much as the humidity in this place where I live. Temperatures are always very good; it hardly rains outside for more than 10 years (south of Portugal, but with a very large river, a pine forest as big as the river, an area of marshes at a confluence with the Atlantic, and here, even in summer, if you don't take measures...and inside and in the grow area, simply having more than 70% relative humidity even during the daytime...but whether in flowering or final drying, in these places, it must always be considered as a crucial factor for having something incredible or ruining productivity and then the quality of the final harvest. 6- Lastly, very good nutrients from Top Crop, following what is requested and mastering the preparation of the solutions for each product that is always applied weekly. The worst of Top Crop, in my opinion, is the substrate with an excessive tendency even with the air pots that (and which are very good for aerating and rationally dispersing roots in volume) for excessive compaction. Let's see if that doesn't bring the biggest disappointment in the end...let's have faith...the best part is the incredible way they are developing grows with iron health and perfect nutritional input, because in the grows, as I've said, there is not a remote sign of nutritional problems...not a hint of excess and not a hint of deficiency, and that can only happen due to the excellent nutrients in a very good genetics, and so the grow goes... 8 - And finally, God Jah always in his command post, providing protection not only for what happens in the grows but also for the dangers "outside," and it's not very necessary to say which ones, as we continue in the hypocritical world that understands and sells to lovers of the 420 movement, criminals, drug addicts, and other "mimics" that we have gotten used to accepting, and without changing policies so that recreational grow becomes a RIGHT (hey, law friends, we pay taxes on everything, and everything someone puts in a grow of less than 1 m² in total is so we can create plants for a few grams that we will smoke with friends, and with your capitalist wars, we also pay taxes on the lights we use and the water we very rationally use, and do you still believe the story that something like this makes us money?!? An expensive hobby, yes, and the pleasure comes from the love we put into it... Green Greets, brothers growers, and I look forward to your comments...a hug...

TommyBVRSA75 Let's see... if there’s one thing that growers like us who have been in this for a while can do, it’s distinguish a really good genetic strain from another that might be sold with aggressive "marketing" and at a high price, only to end up developing something in the grow medium that, once smoked, isn’t worth remembering. The Anaconda from Anaconda Seeds, and apparently, I’ll be the first to showcase it here on GD, is a marvel in almost every aspect. If you take a good look with all the attention you can muster, I invite you to tell me if there’s any imbalance, a flaw in the genetics, or anything that deviates from what a grow should be. Simply put, the Anaconda will be a true madness, particularly in terms of productivity. Its entire structure is filled with budding outlines, and if I had to sum up its development in one word, it would be "balance." Alright, folks, let me tell you... a grow that from day one is synonymous with genetic stability... unyielding like Bruce Lee in a fight and incredible in every way. It’s a perfect grow in how it develops, one of those that instead of trying to gain exposure by multiplying primary fan leaves at the base throughout its growth, has achieved what I call "exact proportion," meaning leaves that leave intermodal space for the buds to come in with room for their full development. Then there’s a branching growth structure that is scandalously good, and the way the buds are coming out is a symphony of balance. The Anaconda will be a super producer, and I have no doubt about that, as it fills up at the base with tons of flowering outlines. It was very simple to take it a couple of days ago and clean it at the base of the vampire branches (which have hardly come out, showing how evolved the genetics are), and more due to its absorption method; this grow has a root system that will allow it to be a grow with everything in its production - potency, terpenes, and bud quality. The grow has developed so well that I’ve only had the option to put a couple of guides on it and not take it out of SCROG, because for me, SCROG is used when the structure is less good and branches need to be spread out so that what can’t come out at a higher level at the base can. The fantastic thing about the Anaconda is the magnificent way its entire branch structure has leveled out, due to its own phenotype. It’s already very, very aromatic... a classic indica with a skunky aroma and a citrus fragrance that promises a smoke to enjoy to the fullest. And when we have our nose trained for cannabis, there’s a smell that isn’t chlorophyll-like, which is like a pheromone for "weed" enthusiasts that indicates its psychoactive part is wonderful, and that either comes with its genetics or you can go all out trying to get something good, and in the end, it either is or it isn’t. I always use as an example a grow I did of Kukulkan from Pyramid Seeds - a beautiful plant with gorgeous buds that promised the sky, and in the end, after drying and curing, it turned out to be the most inert weed I’ve ever had in my life... one of those that scratches your neurons for half an hour and then just goes away... like there are people who like a special dish and go to a place where that dish is sold as the house specialty, and then imagine if they don’t add salt or spices; that’s something you won’t remember in a week because you’ve simply eaten much better elsewhere, in places you didn’t expect. But with Anaconda, the story is different... and Anaconda is one of those that doesn’t deceive even a little. I’d like to understand how this almost unknown seed bank manages its parentals to produce seeds, because apparently, due to the genetics of this grow, they are surely parentals from which you’ve been taking clones for years. In this strain, it’s very clear that there are no backcrosses of incomplete strains and selection of the least bad ones. What the Anaconda surely has is a female from which they’ve been taking clones for over ten years, and the male parental is surely another plant where what has determined that they keep "repeating" it is the guarantee of its maximum quality. This hybrid is one of the best things I’ve been able to bring to fruition one day, and it became clear as water from the beginning that the Anaconda wouldn’t be just another "grow." Things like the position of the branches without needing to twist them or do high-stress maneuvers to cover the lights; its internodes that are almost at a calculated distance with a scale, and then the way its flowering growth is happening... I had one of the most pleasant surprises in my growing experience just a week ago, which was leaving it for two days, and when I came back, I couldn’t believe that in 48 hours, a cannabis plant could develop like what I saw. Extraordinary, and there’s no other way to define it. I usually tell other fellow indoor growers that when a genetic strain is outstanding, there’s no need to direct the grow as soon as we have "space" in the early stages. When a genetic strain is top-notch, there’s no need to twist branches, apply apical cuts, or try to direct it wherever we want or do whatever we wish with the grow. When the genetics are complete, it will grow and expand or shrink according to its nature. With good output lights, decent nutrients, but above all, with great genetics, grows come out as if by spontaneous generation, and that’s something that few seed banks today provide to their buyers... they show you photos that get you "high" just by looking at them, and then the reality of the grow is as distant as possible. So I invite you to take a look in the coming weeks at how Ms. Anaconda is going to turn out, because by the start of week 8 from the beginning of the grow, the Anaconda is already absurdly loaded, and there are no tricks with its smell; perhaps the biggest problem will be controlling its odor, as it’s already very, very penetrating, and the smoke that will come from something like this is something to savor. God Jah, when I thought of twenty different seeds for this season - I didn’t plan on grabbing its brown box and putting it into germination... the initial idea was the White Widow from Anaconda Seeds and a couple of others I had in mind - I always thought it would be the Persian Pie from Greenhouse and Strain Hunters, because I knew that was one of those "smokes" that could take down a plane... but that’s how it is, and sometimes in life, surprises are the best thing about life, and the strain with the name of the bank that created it is something very special. 420 Always and a hug...

TommyBVRSA75 Let's see, first, greetings to the brother growers and the 420 movement in general. Second, let's talk about things, as we always do every week. On the technical side, I have already started what is practically the fattening of the photoperiod plants, so I have begun the nutritional reinforcement based on phosphorus and potassium (PK) to provide the complement that is most suitable for the grow at this point in the cycle. About the Anaconda, in summary: Very impressed and with what?!? Well, surely because of the genetic stability of this colossus, and now I can tell you without reservations that the Anaconda Seeds bank, despite being a bank without much marketing and grandstanding, is outstanding in its genetics. Super productive? Yes, for sure... Quality of terpenes and flower structure? Very good, at a very high level. Ability to react to stress and nutritional and watering variables? Yes, for sure and without any doubt. Between vegetative and the 5th week of flowering, the Top Crop nutrition chart worked wonders, and the grow showed not a single deficiency or signs of stress. The light contribution, which has always been a concern due to the bushy nature of the grows, despite the 350 watts of the entire light set with the 300 watts from the two TS1000 from Mars Hydro + 52 watts of flowering PLEDs for the grow area of 0.65m² being more than sufficient, as I said, at certain moments I had doubts about whether the light coverage could meet the grow's needs, and the result is more than good. Over the past few weeks, I have carefully managed the necessary defoliation so that the upper flowering areas could develop... therefore, lower areas with "vampire" branches and primary leaves that could not be illuminated with the proper intensity were removed at my discretion... and for those of you who are just starting out, especially indoors, this operation of removing branches and leaves that cannot develop or that do not capture quality light is not useful for what we desire and is even harmful for the buds we have in elevated areas to reach the apex, and in the end, what we harvest is of superior quality. So, reminder, it's not unnatural or better, it's super necessary to defoliate photoperiod plants, as the lower branches, flowering sketches without production capacity, and primary leaves that do not receive almost direct light are material that must be removed from the grow, yes or yes... and in flowering, defoliation has very precise criteria, which involve not defoliating at stress impact points and knowing which branches can yield buds in the end, and if at the beginning of flowering it sometimes isn't clear which branches will end up reaching the surface... by the 5th week of flowering, it is already very noticeable which branches have productive structure, and some buds grow at lower levels, and those should not be touched. Therefore, experience teaches us which material is not of interest, and we leave just what does not represent harvest... the rest goes to waste. I was saying that at this stage of flowering it is already time for those of us who know a bit about this to contribute what we believe is necessary for the last weeks, and if we see that the buds are well developed, it is the exact time to start giving nutrition to fatten them up and give them density. The Anaconda has magnificent terpenes, there’s something of ancestral skunk that is very noticeable, and then something between citrus and acrid is inherited from ancestors between myrcene and limonene that comes from some really good Indica. What I see in these buds is a very strong structure of pistils; the buds are like velvet with a very high amount of sugar glands and cannabinoids, and I anticipate that the quality of this smoke will be something incredible... it has that smell that I had already explained to you that growers know, which is "behind" the chlorophyll smell of the grows, and those who know this, know that when it dries and cures, it will be magnificent. As for the other conditions: Max Temp (with lights): 26ºC - 28ºC Min Temp (dark): 22ºC - 23ºC Relative Humidity: between 78 - 87% (there's no way to turn humidity around, where I live even with a dehumidifier and air circulation measures) PH (weekly): average reference 6.52 The EC will be between the limits of the TopCrop chart at 350 ppm to 730 ppm from the PK additions (the EC always rises) So, I leave you with the photos and may God Jah always protect the brothers from all dangers - those of the grow and those we face when living in countries where the fascism of the prohibition of recreational Cannabis still exists... we must think that one more day is one day less until our right to develop a couple of grows is finally recognized, not to make a living selling illicitly, but to have the right to plant and smoke this wonderful plant that we are so passionate about. 420 Always and a hug to all.

TommyBVRSA75 Let's see... it's very clear that we're reaching the end of the cycle. The yellow primary leaves leave no doubt. The Anaconda is a very interesting strain. A hybrid leaning heavily towards skunk with aromas that don't lie, letting us know that we're definitely in for some outstanding smoke material. It's been a very interesting experience, especially because of the unknowns with Anaconda Seeds and their strains. Specifically, this will be their star strain, as the name of the bank is the name of the strain, and there's no doubt that something very good will come from this. Looking ahead to the last weeks, we need to focus on maximizing resin production and density (this strain, compared to those from Ripper Seeds this autumn, is much less dense), and we need to concentrate on that, whether it's through PK contributions or a lot based on silicon inputs. This confirms what I believe about Top Crop nutrients. They are surely balanced... they will definitely be great for enhancing aromas and terpenes, as Big One and Top Candy do throughout the cycle. However, in terms of PK contribution, they are not the best for boosting what is expected from top-quality buds. Because of this, I've started working with finishers, beginning with the Final Boom from the The Witcher's Potion line by Cannaboom. Even this week, without removing the Top Bud, I'll resort to the "potassium bomb" from Agrobeta, the EXPLOTA COGOLLOS solid, so that in less than ten days the buds will be "popping," and in ten days will be the limit for what our Anaconda buds will become. One thing is very clear: the buds are going to be massive based on the branches, and there will be a very significant production - and for that, we have to thank the folks at Anaconda Seeds. Many seed banks aim for large harvests, and after cutting and drying, if you get a third of what you expected, that's already a lot. Don't let them come to you with optimal conditions, lights, nutrients, and whatnot... if you have all that and still end up with disappointing amounts, it's because their genetic work is weak and lacks capacity for more. I often ask fellow growers, "Do you want plants that give you 'fast food' buds or plants that yield the highest quality and are as productive as possible?" In summary, there's no doubt that the Anaconda is a very interesting strain, both in its organoleptic dimensions and its genetics, which are among the most stable. With that, the conditions are guaranteed for the final result to be a marvel. I'll leave you with the photos, where the end of the cycle is already very noticeable with the "yellows" scoring in the grow, and the pistils are gradually maturing day by day, with the buds already expressing those changes in color notes. 420 always, and may God Jah protect us with his wisdom and good vibes.

TommyBVRSA75 Entering the penultimate week of the cycle, and we'll have to see if there's a need to extend it for another week. The feeding of the "ladies" that are photodependent is already being loaded with PK and combined silicon contributions, and of course, the focus is on the so-called finishers - both More Mass and Final Boom (both from Cannaboom) that provide high doses of potassium, integration of silicon for fattening and hardening the buds. Even with a plan for the flushes of the grows to occur at intervals of two final weeks - the evidence is that everything will be completing cycles in the same period, and with that, we will have simultaneous finishing of photodependent and autoflowering plants. So, point aside, we'll have to do a lot of "gymnastics" to create hanging space, as well as to make the most of the drying jars. The Anaconda is not a unique case when it comes to super productivity, and thus, this will impact the need to dry a very considerable amount of weed, and with that, there will be a need to control the drying very carefully to avoid the unpleasant surprise of mold appearing during the drying process. In recent days, and let's hope the month brings news in the weather, but the end of March has brought storms and rain, and if the indoor humidity is already high on sunny days, it's good that the rain ends quickly because I don't want to think that now at the start of spring, we could have a month of irregular weather and thus face humidity problems well above the perfect rate for drying. Brothers, 420 always, and may God Jah always protect us from all dangers... from growing and the outdoors, as we are already aware where the fascists are the owners of the economic and political system and, of course, their loyal canines in the police and the courts. Note: When you see nutrient rates in such large quantities, don't forget that they are based on weekly use and, of course, for daily contributions, they are divided and applied in acceptable and necessary amounts for perfect contributions. Hugs to everyone...

TommyBVRSA75 Brothers growers. Let's see, once again it's the end of the cycle and today I'm gifting you the final photos of a strain that I consider amazing and that has been a huge surprise, the Anaconda. If GrowDiaries serves any purpose, it's to help us showcase our work, so that some strains that may not be as visible through their banks - like Anaconda Seeds - can be recognized, and the diary I’ve produced for this strain with the same name as the bank indicates that its "star" strain is now available for anyone who wishes to see the evolution of this very interesting strain in the future. From the final stages, it's very clear that the strain is distinguished by its frosty buds, heavily loaded with a high mass of pistils and an aroma that is typically a sweet "skunk" scent, with some very interesting terpenes. Its aroma is very pungent, and after cutting and drying, it will surely be a smoke material with a very good aroma. The buds are also very resinous and undoubtedly, they will not only be buds of very good structure and quality, but if I were someone who dedicated myself to making extractions, there would be plenty to produce hash or "rosin" both in quantity and superior quality. The grow has been very solid, with growth without problems or limitations that could ultimately lead to a less satisfactory result. Today in the photos, I leave you to see not only the macroscopic perspective of the buds and their structure, but with my digital microscope with impressive definition at 6000x, you can enjoy the mountain of textures and colors of the microscopic part of the grow - the part that is not usually seen, but where the structures that carry what we seek in this botanical wonder are located. And so today you will be able to clearly witness the diversity of trichomes, and here I give you my personal class. The trichomes (structures you will see that look like elongated mushrooms - with a stem and topped with balls and others or that in some cases resemble worms) present in the microscopic images are generally of two types and have diversified functions. Thus: 1- The trichomes called pedunculated (or capitate) - those little "mushrooms," which you will see in the majority, are structures literally covered in "glue" that are nothing more than the resins loaded with cannabinoids, and here is where THC, CBD, and other dozens of cannabinoids are found, which is what this plant ultimately "gifts us" as the most important. This is what we seek in Cannabis sp. - indica or sativa - the cannabinoids that are the chemical substances that, through their induction in the system that our brain has specifically to integrate them, are the axis for us to plant it, whether for medical or recreational purposes, giving us what we seek in it. Those of us who smoke it or use extractions or those of us who use it after decarboxylation (that is, preparing it to use it as a food element, for example) are practically looking for the ∆ THC -9, which will be the cannabinoid that induces the change in psychoactivity, with all the wonderful effects that you already know and that we love so much,...but it is also much better to keep in mind not only the ∆ THC-9, but other cannabinoids like CBD, CBG, ∆-THC 8, THCV, as it is perfectly studied what is defined by the "entourage effect," which is, by definition, cannabinoids that potentiate together with others, and I always give the example to less knowledgeable friends in this particular that, for example, there are strains that have less ∆ THC -9 that "get you higher" than others with that cannabinoid in higher quantity. For example, a photoperiod Blueberry that has 19% THC and almost 2% CBD might get you higher than a Strawberry Cheesecake, which might have 25% THC but a nearly residual amount of CBD...so a "weed" with less THC than another can get you higher than the one that is more loaded, and that happens because of the "entourage" that the higher amount of CBD present causes. Incredible, right? Well, don't forget, what you're going to find and those "mushrooms" with an elongated "stem" and a little ball on top are the pedunculated trichomes, and that's where most of the resin is concentrated, and in the resin, the cannabinoids are generally found. Trichomes are glands that produce specific substances, and the pedunculated ones are precisely responsible for the cannabinoids. 2- The sessile trichomes are the trichomes that are generally not as elongated as the pedunculated ones, which are generally just the little balls or those stems I mentioned in the pedunculated ones, but in a smaller size. Generally, sessile trichomes are responsible for the production and adhesion of terpenes, and terpenes are the array of aromas that the wonderful cannabaceae produce to attract pollinators for their function. The complex and elaborate aromas we have depending on the strains we plant are generated and retained in the sessile trichomes, and terpenes are also important as agents of the "entourage effect" I have talked about. 3- Then there are the bulbous trichomes, which exist in smaller quantities and generally do not have the disk (the ball I mentioned at the top) and are believed to be primarily related to protecting the outer cell wall from UV rays and also serve as water retainers in the outer cell wall of the leaves and buds. So you will see the three types in the images I leave you. As I mentioned, these may be the last photos before the cut. There will still be at least five to six days where I will only water with water, which will allow the trichomes that are still crystalline to mature, and perhaps the next photos will already be of the buds in drying. 420 always and may God Jah continue to protect us from all dangers - from pathogens to ill-intentioned neighbors. A hug and I ask for your like and for you to follow me - with the time I've spent on GD and with 15 diaries (grows), I deserve the title of Master.
