This plant was not to bad in terms of lst needs and defoliating needs as much as the other ones. This will be the last week they are in Veg and switching to flower cycle next week with a 12/12 photoperiod. I was going to try a 13/11 but I wanted to test out the automatic light functions on the Medic Grows Minisun-2, So this will be relieved next week. Been having issues with PH in the medium again and some nutrient uptake. I am thinking I will switch to another brand I have to use up, trip tonic from my last grow on the balcony. Its a bit more complex and not as easy as mix into water and feed but I think its going to help me solve a lot of the issues I am getting. Given this update is a few days late some of these pics are not from today. the clones in the photos above are from the beginning of the week when I potted them up. They have not done well at all and may not make it. can only hope for the next few weeks they pull through. Girls are starting to show pre flower. Thanks goodness the light pollution in the pot patch is 0. Will add some bloom amendments next week, although they got some bone meal not too long ago. Did another foliar spray as next week may be the last time I will be able to deliver nutrients in that manner. NEVER foliar spray buds! Unless you want to get bud rot.

Day 71 from seed the plant seems to be coming along nicely and flowering stretch has come to a end . I cut some of the lower branches that were carrying some flower because there was no way they were going to develop on time with the higher branches because of lack of light penetration at that lower level and since nothing well happened to those lower branches she can start concentrating her effort and energy on to the higher buds. On the 11th of January, I completed the last defoliation procedure before the plant enters the pre-flowering stage in three days. There is currently no CO2 supplementation in place. On the 12th of January, I eagerly await the pre-flowering stage and anticipate its onset in a few more days. It's time to initiate a 3-day mid-drying period. A notable event on the 12th of January was the arrival and easy installation of the Spectrum King Sk600. The brightness of this new light is noticeably superior compared to the Budmasters. On January 15, 2024, I removed the twist ties from the cola stalks to allow for better airflow and to support the unrestricted growth of the plants. The following day, I took some photos to document the progress of the plants. It's always fascinating to visually track their development over time. Also on January 16, a plant named "Freaky Pablo" displayed unusual characteristics, signaling that it might be a male plant. To prevent any potential pollination issues, I decided to remove "Freaky Pablo" from the grow space. On the same day, I observed the presence of pre-flowers, indicating the beginning of the flowering stage. This marks an exciting phase in the growing process as the plants transition to a crucial stage of their life cycle. During this time, I made some adjustments to the positioning of the "Mango Skunk" plant, initially moving it up to the top bed and then deciding to move it back to the bottom. On January 18, I noted that the lights were turned on, marking the start of the flowering phase. This is a significant milestone in the plant's development as it shifts its focus from vegetative growth to flower production. Additionally, I relocated a plant named "Spicy Temp" to the flower tent. This move ensures that all plants in the flowering stage are in the optimal environment for the next phase of their growth. Overall, it appears that the grow operation is progressing well, and I am looking forward to witnessing how the plants continue to develop. Day 62, harvest day. I will update after the drying and curing process. Wish I could've let them go a little longer but had to harvest slightly early. For my first attempt I'm happy with how the ladies turned out! Nice gassy smell, big sticky dense buds, great colours and 81g altogether wet trimmed. Hey everyone, I’m thrilled to update you on my grow! Today marks day 57 in the flowering stage, and I began my flush on day 55 cutting out nutrients and feeding only plain water (not ph'd) If everything goes as planned, I should be harvesting around day 63-65, giving my plants a solid 8-10 days of flushing. Oh boy, are they looking good! The buds have indeed gotten larger and denser. Some of the colas are even starting to fall over from the weight, but thankfully the trellis is supporting them well, so I’m not too worried about any snaps. The smell is absolutely amazing, and the trichome production is off the charts. She’s super sticky too—now I really understand where the name Gorilla Glue comes from! 😂 Overall, I’m pretty happy with how this grow has gone. The plants have shown vigorous growth with no deficiencies, toxicities, or pest infestations. There’s a bit of larf below that I thought I had defoliated, but it seems like it grew back.
