Hey now! So after 8 days of drying, and 6 days of curing, I just tried the Sour Diesel in a glass water pipe, and she is freaking amazing. She burns nice and slow, with thick clouds of smoke, and tastes exactly like she should, like a sour/citrus/fuel with a very nice aftertaste. I ended up with less than 20% of wet weight, but I am so ecstatic with the quality, I could freaking care less! I have a fantasy football draft on Saturday night, and I can't wait for the rest of my league to sample her! I had so much fun with this grow, from constructing the watering/draining system, to learning more about photography and video, to meeting everyone in this community, and finally to smoking Nugs that I actually grew! Another week and the root growth is letting me know we're close to transplant time, which is a good timing with my tent getting ready for a new cycle. I pulled a few lower leaves off her to keep that energy pushing up to the top. Based on the leaves, she appears to lean to the OGKB in her lineage, so this should be a nice candidate for a scrog to get the most of the business of the strain. I covered the basket with hydroton pebbles after this pic to prevent light leak into my reservoir. I also buried the rockwool to prevent algae growth. I rinse my clay pebbles with PH treated water to avoid reservoir contamination. The major structural issues is primarily due to the cold temperature of the water in my reservoir. It was hitting -30c temps outside. It took me a minute for it to set in that my reservoir temperature was the culprit. I had a water temperature regulator ordered; in the meantime, she kind suffers slow growth and wilting. DWC tip#2: If your water is cold, get a water warmer; Alternately, you will see if water is too hot, get a water chiller. Both extremes are really something you can’t ignore you should have a solution before germinating your seed.

Diese Woche verlief ohne weitere Probleme. Alles entwickelt sich wie geplant. Die Thripse sind nach der Neemöl-Behandlung nicht mehr zu sehen – scheint gut gewirkt zu haben. Zur Sicherheit habe ich noch AC-Raubmilben ausgebracht, um eventuelle Nachzügler unter Kontrolle zu halten. Außerdem wurden ein paar Blätter entfernt, um die Luftzirkulation zu verbessern und mögliche Verstecke für Schädlinge zu minimieren. Die Pflanzen sehen gesund aus und wachsen kräftig weiter.

DFIe Buds entwickeln sich sehr gut :) diese Woche war relativ enbtspannt da ich hauptsächlich nur Gießen musste und das ein oder andere Sonnensegel entfernt habe damit ausreichend licht auf alle Buds fällt allerdings bin ich damit leider noch nicht fertig :)

Par ou je commence peut être par la facilité et rapidité de cette magnifique plante qui en seulement 8 semaine donne une superbe weed très cristalliser avec une belle odeur sucrée mais (perso je ne sent pas la 🍌 mais plutôt une odeur typique de purple punch à voir peut être à la fumé ;) La plante ne demande pas trop de nutriment mais on peut lui en donner de bonne dose si on le souhaite perso je dépasse rarement les 1500 ppm. La trim est facile à faire vue le peut de feuille voilà voilà on se retrouve d ici 10 jours pour la west coast og et par la même occasion je mettrais le poids sec dès 2 plantes ainsi que le poids sec de toutes les plantes de mon dernier grow histoire de clôturer le journal et commencer un tout nouveau journal (spoiler alert mac & crack et pendant se grow je vais faire du pollen à fin de commencer ma propre ligne de graines..
