Week 9 light schedule switched to 12/12 and bio-bloom & top-max were added to the feed but unfortunately some leaves turned pale yellow and some strange marks appeared. We re going to flush in the next week to make sure feeding can be safely applied again. Autoflower plant going no problem and should be harvested soon. Smell is intense orange with undertones of pine.

4th week 12/12

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Hello dear ones 😌 I hope you had a few nice warm days here in Germany, the plant really enjoyed it. Since it's been warm during the day she's been getting 16/8 again and she loves it. This also enabled me to take photos that reveal their true beauty. At the beginning of the cup I really thought to myself: Oh God, how is this going to work? But at that point, I didn't even know what was still in store for me... There were many events, both positive and negative, and the plant noticed this. She had to endure a lot because of these circumstances; I couldn't give her the warmth she needed and I had to completely change her light cycle. I haven't even changed the water in the dwc since the first week of flowering because it's not financially possible at the moment. But Zamnesia seems to have done a good job with the breeding, because the genetics are strong and do not hermaphrodite despite high stress: LST Fimming light stress.The Auto Runtz smells grazy fruity and I'm just thrilled THANK YOU ZAMNESIA ❤️ I also have to commend Advanced Nutrients for the starter kit with the PH Perfect Sensi Grow and Bloom. Since I switched to economical, I'll definitely be able to complete the run.And I don't have any problems even though I don't change the water. i accidently bought some unbuffered coco and mixed it with my ussual earth, had major calmag problems in mid-flower but i´m still pleased with the results...also had a little trouble with mold at the end due to bad weather and high humidity in the final weeks of the grow, had to remove a few buds and harvest early @ day 55 of flower....but there's still alot of great looking buds left for me to enjoy and all look mostly done... Just harvested and hung them upside down, currently drying them at constant 19.5-20.5°C and 50-60% RH..will update as soon as they are dry

This week we did a major defoliation and lollipop on the girls. We also switched to Bloom A & B with a PK booster 3ml/gal of each. Over all I'm excited to see as they just started flower and look amazing. I bumped up the co2 this past week up to 750ppm. I can't wait to see the flower progression through the next few weeks. EC: 0.4 Watering: Both 1000 ml. EC: 1.4 Defoliated both plants and attached some shoots to the rack. 20-3 Temps: 18.2 to 22.8 degrees Humidity: 59% to 69% 21-3 Temps: 18.5 to 23.4 degrees Humidity: 57% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. 22-3 Temps: 19.4 to 24.1 degrees Humidity: 55% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. Set the strength of the light to 50% 23-3 Temps: 19.8 to 24.8 degrees Humidity: 58% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. As you can see, instead of removing the leaves, i tucked down all the leaves to open up the canopy. I will see if i like this method as its the first time i try this. I also attached some more shoots to the rack, its looking nicely spread out now :)

They have exceeded my expectations in so many ways, and I'm genuinely impressed with how they're finishing up. I was able to get some amazing photos of two of the plants before disaster struck... my son decided my camera belonged on the floor 😅📸. After that I had to switch over to my phone to finish taking the rest of the photos, but at least I managed to capture the stars of the show beforehand! Those same two plants are just about ready and will be getting the chop very soon, while the remaining three still need about another two weeks to finish ripening. I'm absolutely in love with Mendo Frost. The terpene profile is incredible, the buds have an amazing structure, and everything about this strain just screams champion. It's one of those strains that keeps impressing you more every week. I also have to give credit where it's due Athena PK has done an outstanding job. This was my first proper run using it, and the difference in how these buds have bulked up has definitely made me a believer. It'll absolutely become part of my feeding program going forward. I'm really excited to see how the last few plants finish over the next couple of weeks. She's got the purple touch! I think that both of my plants are almost ready for harvest. I don't have a USB microscope so I can't check thoroughly. Luckily I have a few lenses of a microscope and a very good phone camera. I gave them no nutes with the watering because I thought the purple might be because of the nutes but it's probably because of the colder nights. the following update might just be the harvest 👀.

This week can be simplified as EXPLOSION!! The plant doubled in size and I can see many main branches now, which is pretty awesome!! This is exactly what is LST is for, right!? I am pretty amazed for seeing this explosion in the 2nd week of flowering and cannot wait to introduce the booster when flowers are going to be a little bigger, in around 6~10 days. Now I'm keeping training her for at least 5 days, and then I'll stop so she can focus on flowering. At the e moment I'll stop training her she will also be able to have more space for herself in the tent as the other plant are going to be chopped pretty soon (other diary updated). Critical Cure is filling out nicely. Picked most of the inchworms off and have some BT showing up on Monday. She got a ring of Coast of Maine 5-2-4 around her base. I'll have to put up the tomato roof in the next couple weeks!

Week 4 flower: all 3 plants left in the tent are pollinated - it's hard to tell to what extent but bud formation has slowed down 😞. Middle plant (Mimosa Evo #2) is definitely the strongest pheno and its trichomes smell like tangerines which is really nice! We did an intense defoliation on Day 24 of flower in an attempt to lower humidity and increase airflow but RH is still dangerously high at 80% because of the current weather. Also gave them a bloom PK top dressing on day 26 because canna coco does not provide a PK boost in their coco nutrient line. Hope to see the buds dense up over the next few weeks without too many seeds ...
