Day 1. No signs of flower yet but good growth and the girl scout is finally growing well. Day 2. FLOWERING :D Checked on the girls early evening to find they are now drinking 1lt per day and had amazing growth overnight. As I was doing some more training I noticed my first pistils. I will raise the lights tomorrow by about 40% to encourage the flower stretch Day 3. Raised the lights to encourage growth. Day 4. No access missed feeding 😭 Day 5. Plants look sad due to missing a feed also noticed discolouration on 1 leaf Day 6. Plants have bounced back and looking good. the discolouration has spread from one leaf to a few so almost certain its a mag deficiency. Day 7. Very happy today good stretch. Flushed the plant with the mag deficiency to make sure it's not locked and the CalMag arrives tomorrow

End of the second week of the stretch and pretty much as expected. One male has gone off early spilling pollen everywhere. The females Id say are a little behind this one but no real worries - we got another 2 males in there ready and waiting to burst at the right time👍. We’ve now pared down the whole tent for pollination and taken cuttings of each fem. Plant for a separate run. Best part there is that we have 3 identified phenos of both indica and sativa dominant traits so we’re gonna get a really even look at what the genetic has to offer, while at the same time being able to isolate desirable traits in the resulting F2 seed. Pretty sick outcome to date 🔥. We moved over to GHE nutes this week to save the Druid nutes for the fem run in the recirc system. Stronger brand for sure, but similar in value and ease. All told, everything is proceeding far better than expected. The rest is just praying that we found a kickass combination in the polyhybrid mix🤞. Till next week yall👊. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Welcome to week 10. 7/9-15 Grow family, friends and followers, for the most part, I've basically been flushing 3 gallons each plant every 2 days. I think it is helping both Gaia and Circe recover from nutrient lock out. I see tufts of new flowers forming on some top buds. In the flushing, I still see tea color run off but I will return to feeding very lightly this week. Measurements for one gallon but make 4 or 5 gallons of fertilizer solution. 7/9 flushed ladies with 3 gallons and picture day. 7/ 10 I already feel behind on this week. I had to rush watering my plants in the tent yesterday so I could prep the sides and condiments for a cookout. After eating we played games then, called it early as a storm was heading our way. I was going to do my diary up date last night but the storm took out our power. So today loaded yesterdays pics 7/11 ferigating day. All got flushed 3 gallons of water. After using, then I fertilized with additional 1gals Fertilizer TPS1 15 ml in 4 gal Signal 7.5 ml in 4 gal Each plant received 1gal. Also baking day -Banana Brownie recipe in week 2 Natrona's recipe diary. This is free of eggs, gluten and sugar. And I'm trying to create videos. Tried adding music and adding my IG avatar. Needs work and for me, sure didn't come easy. 7/12 I added a humidifier to the tent yesterday to bring VPD in line. It's getting too hot and with low humidity, the vpd is bordering on the red zone. Temps are heating hotter here so our a/c has to work harder and still not doing the cooling necessary. It is also cooling the tent by about 5 degrees. The drip trays were empty this morning. That means that after ferigating yesterday, any runoff in the bins was drank overnight. I did not top off the drip bins with tap water today. I'm letting them go a day or two without any water. I'm seeing more new tufts of hairs on lower buds. Yay.👍 7/13 water only and pictures. Also made osteoarthritis lotion.. week 3 Natrona's recipes 7/14 checking in. The girls are doing fine. No water today and bins are dry. Primera experiencia de scrog y no estoy muy satisfecho. Las plantas han tenido un estres y han madurado más rápido de lo normal. El resultado son cogollos pequeños. La calidad parece igual. Supongo que ha tocar demasiado las ramas para controlarla con la red es la origen del estres. Era un experimento de defoliación. Lo he hecho en varias plantas para comparar. Es un desastre, vale mejor no tocar las hojas salvo en ciertos casos.

Week 2 Flower At the beginning of the week they were lollipopped. I left one small branch on a couple of them until their clones had rooted (just incase they failed). As soon as their clones showed roots I cut the emergency clones off the plants. Lollipopping is a great way to slow down their stretch, and is also a great way to bring the humidity down in the tent and get some nice airflow inside and around the plants. If left, they'll grow fluffy pathetic, worthless buds that will only waste energy that would otherwise go into the nice fat top buds and mid canopy buds. The next day pheno's 1, 2 and 3 all showed us their sex, as you can see they are all females! Only a few days later #4 showed us her pistils too! Amazingly we have 4/4 females! It's gonna be a great pheno hunt with all four being left to flower. Remo grow was stopped being fed by the end of the week and silicon was reduced. Remo Bloom and Astro Flower were increased at the end of the week now they're towards the end of their transition. A small amount of nature's candy is being fed for better nutrient uptake, but isn't needed in larger amounts until we see frost, the same goes for molasses. They're all looking very healthy on Remo's Nutrients so far. They were given a leaf strip on Day 13 as they seem to be stretching pretty well and will continue to through week 3. Week 4 at this point it's was going nicely but them brain box here got the bright idea to bend the main stem over and didn't do me or her any good

More hairs are coming. Everything looks good to me. The temperatures sure are getting high, but the plant is doing well. I'm not sure if the twisted new growth was a problem. The leaves turned out fine.

Three weeks into flower and things are moving along. I defoliated some of the lower branches and spread out a few branches here and there. Other than that it's the same situation as always. Nutrients are pumping and lights are beaming. Everything is running smooth and all is well with the world. Like some namaste shit going on around here at the moment. Could very well just be the calm before the storm...

Everything is pretty much the same this week the purple punch is doing up numbers, the zkittles is rite behind it with the gelato struggling. Already germinated some seeds for the summer grow hope the gelato grows better out doors

Both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants have developed well and carry hefty top buds on each side branch and also the main cola. The lower regions also carry buds, but those are a little more fluffy and not so big and dense as the top buds. In total the two plants harvested 91,3 grams. Every bud is COVERED IN TRICHOMES and the plants glisten in the light, they are FROSTY AS HELL! The plants have a STRONG AROMA now, which is sweet and peachy with hints of sandalwood. They smell ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and the dried weed carries the flavor of this aroma also in the smoke! VERY PEACHY! All in all I can only recommend this strain, its not the biggest yielder, but definitely delivers connoisseur grade weed. Hats off to Mat from House of the Great Gardener in Canada, he has made another GREAT cross and I hope he will release this variety soon! 👍😍😎.

14th Fastbuds Blue dream 🌲🌲💚

This is the first week of flowering. I've changed the nutes from veg to flowering. The plants look incredible! I had to raise the LEDs to 100 centimetres from the plant again, because I've noticed that they get too much light. This week I have a new family member, her name is Sarracenia. She will help me to get rid of gnats. This will be an experiment, I'll add some more carnivorous plants in the future updates!

The pistils are starting to brown a little so we're nearing the end, but this is not a September finish! Colas and bulking up I think she's had her last feeding. For awhile there I was worried about how this strain was going to finish but in the last couple weeks she's been really strong. I can't wait to see how she looks on harvest day!

So today is the day i switch my plants to flowering lights schedule and flowering nutes, started with 1/4 the recommended dosage and will gradually up them, only boosters i left at recommended values. Ppm is 800. Next will be 1000, then 1200 and maybe 1400. I plan to flush on days 16, 28, 35 and 42 of flowering, leave them to dry for 4-5 days so roots will oxygenize and help to stack more dense buds, and then add nutes. I plan to do the final flush for last 2 weeks with flawless finish. You can see some before and after training photos and videos from today, defoliated some leaves and LST-ing branches, spreading them out last time so light can reach smaller branches, after all she got some more stretching to do and its why i left sensi grow with more Nitrogen.
