This update is after 70 days of flowering. I switched off the light and left the girls for 2 more days in the dark tent. The remaining fan leaves i cutted already some days before and it looks like that the buds will be easy to trim.

Gave her a small amount of Monsta bud to help those pistils develop 👌 The change from Summer to Autumn is probably the best time of the year here weather wise and all of my plants are soaking up the warm sunshine without that horrible heat to contend with. I have noticed they are all requiring a bit less to drink each day as well , which would be in part due to the soil not drying out as quickly as it was . I am not sure what is happening with Grow diaries and all of the glitches lately but it has made me decide to take a break once all of my current diaries are harvested . Starting week 4 off with a few updates: We lost two soldiers today, 11/25/23, and pulled both of the struggling watermelons from the herd. Lowered the lights a bit as I felt they were a bit too high and to prepare for the real vegetative phase coming this week. DIY C02 bottles bubbling away nicely. Transplanted the remaining girls to their final home (5 gallon fabric pots) on 11/26/23. Used Photone app to dial in to proper PPFD at 350 as I was a bit high. Nearing end of week 4, I’m really starting to see rapid growth. Since I’m going with a SOG for this grow, I won’t be doing any topping but I will be doing some LST to start week 5 with 90 degree LST clips. (I’m calling it the 5x5 LST; 5 weeks at the 5th node pair) 😆

Approaching the finish line. Fertilizer is now at its final dose. Both plants stopped growing now and started to build thick buds. Ken in fact is way ahead in terms of buds but it might be because he Hase a little bit less in number. It’s possible that I trained Ryu too much for his pot size 😆😆. But let’s see. Both looking very good and a lot more powerful than in my first grow. Water intake is still massive. The top soil is rock solid while draining water super fast which must mean the pots are filled with massive roots. The erected teeth came down a bit but they were never that severe in the first place so I’m still not worried about that. I skipped one day of watering to account for possible slight overfeeding but I mean, today’s watering then was with the increased dose of fert 😆😆. I know I’m pushing it a little bit but that’s deliberate. I have high demands both in mass and quality so my approach is riding the edge as good as possible from the beginning 😆

Kinda a leggy one. Leaves are okay, stalk not mis-colored, just trying to get the conditions right. I have other beans going, but this one seems to be lacking something. No, issues, so I’m not going to push it. We relocated the family to the basement. I have a trellis that is almost full and I think I’m past the point I needed to be. The temps are a little lower so we will see what happens.

After flushing, the plant was left standing until the pot fully dried out before harvest. Buds developed nicely with strong resin production, resulting in a satisfying yield despite some airy lower growth.

Just started 3rd week of flowering. Everything is goin smooth, plants stacking nice and drinking almost a gallon a day.

WEEK 8 Finally calibrated my ph meter and get everything sorted. Ph is now 5.5 but it should slowly building up to 6.0 I lightened the feeding because of some signs of overfeeding but nothing too dramatic. Very strong citrusy smell. One of the plants is incredibly frosty for it's age and all buds look pretty dense so I can't wait what is gonna happen over next few weeks. Giving them pretty much max recommended dose of CANNA BOOST so I hope it's gonna give me some good results in terms of taste and smell. :) Oh and I finally got new 600W bulb

However I remove humidifier and everything back to normal. Girls grow up like nothing happened, tomorrow I will proceed small defoliation like I'm doing it in every grow.
