Big beautiful frosty buds, the smell is kicking up and I’m starting to believe these carbon filters are not so effective. Trichomes are mostly cloudy but no amber. One of the Sour Diesel plant is my favorite bud structure and scent from the whole tent. The tall OG Kush in the center of the tent got some photobleaching which I took care of with dimming the light intensity! Have some Super Buff Cherry cuttings in the CloneKing rooting while these finish up to move into the tent already!

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2204 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/15- Here we go into the second week of veg for the FastBuds Tester #2204 girls and they're on a roll!When I checked on them today they both were still moist so I let them go until I check them tomorrow. Basically at this point in the run all I have to do is make sure they don't dry out, fill the humidifier and watch them grow! 12/17- Yesterday I watered them both and increased the amount to roughly 0.25g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Botanicare Silica Blast (added to begin to help strengthen their branches) and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. I've also increased the output of the HLG 650R's to 35% which equates to about 230w at the wall which, of course has raised the temp's in the tent so I've also begun to run the A/C unit in the grow room which is keeping the temp's now at 75℉ in the tent. The RH is running around 75-78% RH giving a VPD of .67-.74 which I'll take! 😁👍 Other than what I've mentioned above, all I did was fill the humidifier with distilled water and watched my girls grow! 🤩 12/19- Today I watered them each with 0.25g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t and 1 tsp/g Unsulfured Molasses which I then ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I'm now watering through the bottom, filling the drip pan and letting the plant draw up the water into itself. I am also watering from the top, but only just enough to moisten the medium. They're really starting to take off now, a sure sign their roots are beginning to get well developed. Their 4th set of leaves have emerged and as they get bit bigger I may give topping, one or both, some consideration... we'll see! 12/21- Today I watered them both with 0.25g of straight de-chlorinated water each which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I gave about 3/4 of it into their drip pans so they can draw it up into their medium, the rest I applied to the top of their medium just to moisten it. They're both doing fantastic with good color and vigor! They're not very tall and judging by their leaf shape and overall structure I'd say they are definitely leaning towards the Indica side of the gene pool! I'm holding off on deciding whether or not to top them, but will make a decision in the next couple of days! I had trouble with my humidifier set up so she only took 5 days to hand dry . Fortunately I purchased a programmable humidifier so moving forward it’s all gravy. After everything was cut from branches & weighed she ended up yielding 20gs of some airy foxtaily bud. I knew this would be a disappointment so we’ll just wait to see what the smoke is like , what the smell is like , & what the taste is like .

A ese cruce o a dosi gelato x dosi gelato de hecho esa siempre fue nuestra intención sacar el máximo de semillas posibles de nuestro primer cultivo con semillas importadas primero necesita vamos unas semillas regulares pero de buena calidad y que supiéramos un poco de su genética investigamos acerca de doci-gelato y decidimos que sería la primera base de nuestros cruces sus efectos y aromas nos llamaron la atención aparte de que el nombre estaba de moda abrimos varios blister más como blackberry gum thunder banana moví d y varias que ya no quiero nombrar porque quiero que esos sabores sean invento mío jajajja leeimos un poco de como podíamos hacer semillas y lo hicimos polinizamos 11 hembras originales o estabilizadas que no se escuche feo y 3 hembras regulares una de ellas nos la vendieron con el nombre de Hulk otra como Cherry y la última una buble gum que comparamos su olor y sabor con el de la blackberry gum de seedstockers fue muy parecido a nuestra buble gum pero con notas a moras muy buenas de hecho es un cruce que tenemos contemplado para ver si con una planta macho de buble gum regular y una blackberry gum de seedstockers podemos mejorar aun mas el sabor y el olor en nuestro país de hecho hay buenas cepas regulares hemos probado genéticas con sabor mango,pastel de arándanos,limón ,sandía ,uva y gas,chicle clásico rosa,plátano,zorrillas todas esas genéticas y variedades nos han hecho llegar a pensar que en realidad hay gente que lleva incluso mas tiempo conociendo las semillas importadas o aun mejor importando las para realizar investigar o mejorar las genéticas y sus distintos efectos en el 2012 llegué a acceder a bancos de semillas quedé deslumbrado de la cantidad de nombres que había pero no era 100% seguro entonces no quise seguir insistiendo pero ya se escuchaban nombres como mango kush, Golden Acapulco,cronic el precio era mas elevado que los demas prensados que podiamos conseguir pero eran mejores efectos y aromas ya para 2018,2021 Se empezaron a escuchar nombres como blueberry,amnecia,skunk,pineaple,og,kalifas,jirafa ,puma,gorila,Hulk, chocolopez,candy, arcoiris,cristal,poison,f1,sueño azul , Tutankamón,shark, snow,Jack jerer, y mas llevamos 13 años recolectando semillas de diferentes genéticas de cannabis siempre hemos cultivado esas semillas regulares pero nunca habíamos intentado un cruce para empezar no sabíamos como hacerlo solo sabíamos que no teníamos que dejar crecer el macho. Para 2022 después de un obsequio que tuvimos de un conocido volvimos a intentar una vez más conseguir semillas importadas nos regaló un tubo con 10 semillas del banco sweet seeds con fecha de empaquetado en 2017 llevándonos ala misma pregunta desde cuándo estaban llegando las semillas importadas y entonces algunas veces fumamos de genéticas originales al contrario de sentirme mal por no ser el primero en decir que traje genéticas originales o importadas a mi país me sentí feliz por que sabía que lo que estaba guardando todo el tiempo desde 2012 puede ser una gran colección de diferentes breeders tal vez tengamos varias ediciones especiales como la cepa froot loops, jirafe pussy,cronic,ak47 , y así fue como logramos contactar con un banco que parecía de confianza y obtuvimos dos blíster de doci-gelato , blackberry gum,thunder banana ,banana blaze y varias más hemos crecido varios de nuestros cruces pero necesitamos seguir investigando más aún para lograr estabilisar nuestras propias genéticas les dejo una foto de nuestro cruce María Sabina.

Flowering day 34 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.2 l (nutrients see table above) They were individually inspected and checked for their health. My first grow has turned in to a science project. Switched from AN pH perfect Grow/Micro/Bloom to AN pH Connesseur, still giving 50% dose. Had rain Monday maybe, didn't water for 3 days, hit her up last night with the Connesseur and just a tad of Big Bud, looks really good this morning. Yesterday I had mini buds with white pistils, that's why the Big Bud. Everything else is normal- watering 32 oz of water/nutrients at night, MAYBE mist the top soil but haven't really needed it. Will most likely switch to AN Connesseur bloom next week. Very satisfied with Fast Buds and Advanced Nutrients products. It is all on the grower!

I've defoliated all the large leaves on all the plants. I started with the Tropical Marker and Purple Kush. I topped these two as well. The Pink Gelato is still very slow. Nice week. Tropicana got healthy stuff in the last days. On day 29 I gave her a 1:10 homemade plant manure fertilization with comfrey and nettle which takes about two weeks to see a reaction. Three days later she got her next head fertilization to protect her with field horsetree extract and a cosmic sunstorm fertilization 😉. Smelling a bit but works good with fruit trees or veggies which are sensitive for mold and killer insects. Got to bring some 🐞cause I watched some lice while sucking Tropicana juice. 🤭😅 Northern lights night was nice to watch. Sun is shining and the Temperature during the days is up to 25 degrees. Day 34: Tropicana slept outside for the first time. The temperature at night is over 10 degrees now, soon even more.

EXPERIMENT: Still waiting on the teapot to boil the water properly, but the photos and video of the "still" attached to this diary shows proof of concept. The sludge coming out is from the copper tubing manufacturing process, it'll eventually stop. I need to get the real setup built and run a couple gallons through the tube. Plant B is coming along nicely! I have a feeling it's going to finish around week 6 rather than the full 8 week period advertised. So I've started the flushing process. I can always add nutrients if necessary. Flushed twice this week with 2.5 gal of pH-adjusted distilled water. Plant A doesn't seem to like the bud blaster. I think it'll finish around the 8 weeks advertised. I flushed all week same as plant B, though I will probably add more nutrients to A next week. It just seemed to be getting some nutrient burn so I wanted to back off.

I'm a few days late on updating this diary as well as feeding my girls (well, just a couple days late on feeding) and the weather is not helping! It's 48F and drizzling out, which is prime conditions for mold production😒 but there's not much I can do about it at the moment. So I did include a video this week to give a better look at the girls (And please ignore me saying Amy aka CBD Gorilla is a late September finisher.. It's actually mid-October, I can't keep anything straight) Jojo is still the runt of the litter, Amy is catching up to her big sisters and Bubba and Ice Cool are still the stars of the show. Nice colas plumping up and soon to be ready👏 I'm excited!

In week 8 iv come to the sad realization that nearly all of the plants are at different stages of development. Dispite all the seeds being germinated at the same time. So iv had to take them off the wilma systems and am feeding them manually and there all on different diets. Which is an absolute headache especially as there is 16 plants to tend too. I think iv bit off abit more than I can chew for my first grow I maybe should have started with a couple of plants. I think the large wilma setups are designed for clones really so you know they are all going to progress and eat the same amount at once. It's not for autos . There all looking healthy though:)

Day 80, harvested 1 plant, she didn't really look good, the buds are very smelly and dense though. Some trichomes were brown so decided to chop her (the smallest buds only had milky trichomes, even not even milky for some). It wasn't one of the biggest so I hope for bigger yields for the other plants ! Now drying, got 145g after the wet manucure. The rest of the plants are still in the grow box, they're healthier and they'll be ready in few days, I thought I would harvest before but mother nature is the boss.. will keep you guys updated !

Did a lot of training and defoliation. I will move her into a bigger tent now as shes about to start flowering hopefully by end of next week 😍. Will also be using scrog net and will add Bud Candy along with the other nutrients : PH perfect Micro,Grow, Bloom
