Aug 30: it’s still hot (too hot at peak for photosynthesis) so lots of water, watering outside of growbag, etc to cool things off a bit. Sep 1: almost ready. Found a dried leaf and a spot of bud rot which was immediately removed. Main tops are almost ready and I’ll start harvesting this one later this week. Sep 2: buds are looking pretty ready (at least the tops) and the pistils changed colour last night. Heatwave is now past and now we’re into a couple days of smoke from fires in the NWT. Sucks, but at least this is the first serious smoke here this year. Sep 4: decided to do a chemical flush this year. Great buds last year but didn’t burn well because of excess P in late flowering. Considered another flush product but looking at the MSDS sheets that stuff had ‘editic acid’ which is an obscure but acceptable name for EDTA. That is a very strong chelating agent which will remove salts effectively but I’d rather avoid it. In contrast, Final Flush from Grotek has potassium sorbate (generally recognized as safe food additive) and good old citric acid which is a chelating agent but not as strong as EDTA. Similar products but citric acid is more gentle and the plant still gets some potassium. Sep 5: don’t take flash pics of photoperiod plants unless you follow up with a far red light.

This plant is beautiful, wish I had taken a clone! Reaching peak flower now so added PK into the mix for extra Potassium and Phosphorous over the next 10 days or so. Never had plants soak up this much nutrients without any burn (touch wood) so I'm really impressed with the Vitalink range. This plant is at the front left of the tent, and to the rear of the screen in the timelapse. Heavily defoliated for the final time this week, allowing for the light to reach as many bud sites as possible.

Bienvenidos cultivadores de marihuana clandestinos y también a los que tienen la fortuna de no serlo!🖐️👨‍🌾👍 Este es un diario donde semanalmente explico algunas de mis técnicas de cultivo y preparados orgánicos, los cuales llevo experimentando dos años en cultivos de marihuana interior. Esta semana: HIDROLIZADO POTÁSICO DE LEONARDITA CON FÓSFORO (Humato PK). Este producto lo vengo usando en mis cultivos desde el comienzo, hasta el final de la floración y es una de mis fórmulas indispensables para el engorde de los cogollos. La leonardita es un mineraloide derivado del lignito y compuesto en su mayor parte por materia orgánica que se encuentra en el proceso de convertirse en carbón, no es soluble en agua. La leonardita es la mayor fuente existente de Ácidos Húmicos e Himatomelánicos, mejora la estructura del suelo haciéndolo más esponjoso, estimula el suministro de oxígeno a los microorganismos, incrementa el crecimiento, la división celular y la retención de agua y nutrientes, al tiempo, la fórmula aporta también fósforo y potasio solubilizados, con lo que consigo un fertilizante altamente soluble PK, con ácido húmico y materia orgánica líquida. Para hacer soluble la leonardita uso un tipo de hidrólisis alcalina con Hidroxido de Potasio, en esta ocasión he añadido Roca Fosfórica (P) como fuente de fósforo inorgánico y lo he enriquecido un poco con Azomite (Si, Mg, K, Fe... + trazas de 70 minerales). Como fuente de fósforo también he utilizado fosfitos orgánicos extraídos de la calcinación de huesos con cascarilla de arroz o cenizas de madera, pero en realidad la fórmula original sólo incluye la leonardita y el hidróxido de potasio (Humato K). El proceso es simple: - MATERIAL PARA 1 LITRO DE SOLUCIÓN: Agua pura 1000ml. (Yo en este preparado he usado agua de manantial alcalino (PH: 9.2 EC: 0.85), esta agua está muy mineralizada (Ca. Si, Fe, Mg, Mn...) quiere decir que tiene hidrolizados esos minerales los cuales se añaden naturalmente al producto.) Leonardita: 100g (10%) Hidróxido de potasio: 30g (3%). - MINERALES EXTRA 1%: Roca fosfórica: 7g, Azomite: 3g PROCEDIMIENTO: 1) Moler la leonardita y mezclar con la roca fosfórica y el azomite. 2) Añadir el Hidróxido de potasio disuelto en 500ml de agua. 3) Esperar una hora y agitar de vez en cuando. 4) Añadir el resto del agua (500ml). 5) Mantener en el recipiente sin cierre hermético, para dejar paso al oxígeno, durante al menos tres días. 6) Remover o agitar al menos 2 veces al día, durante estos 3 primeros días. (Cuanto más o mejor se agite el resultado de la hidrolisis será mejor.) 7) A partir de los 3 días ya se puede usar... pero yo prefiero esperar una semana al menos. 8) El producto se puede almacenar a la sombra durante años, el paso del tiempo hace que la hidrólisis de los componentes sea mejor. COSTO APROX. DEL PREPARADO: 3€. MEZCLAS PARA RIEGO EN MACETAS: HASTA EL 2%., EN EXTERIOR HASTA EL 3%. ========================== USOS: - Deshidratado, lo uso como aporte a las mezclas de sustratos o como enmienda seca. - Al ser un producto alcalino, en las mezclas para riego, lo uso siempre en conjunto con alguno de mis Bio fermentados con Microorganismos de Montaña Activados (MMA) que tienen un PH muy bajo, de esta manera regulo el PH final de la mezcla, además, pongo en contacto directo los microorganismos y la materia orgánica líquida del Humato, al que también añado melaza para dar energía a la microbiología, en definitiva es una simbiosis perfecta para el suelo: Materia orgánica solubilizada, alimento de fácil proceso para la Microbiología y ácidos húmicos, que completan la magia que se produce en el sustrato... los cogollos crecen y engordan sin freno!! On day 1 I adjusted the PH of my reservoir down to 6.1. On day 2 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.3 to 6.1. On day 3 the buds are really starting to bulk up and are putting out side flower clusters already in week 5. I adjusted the PH to 6.1. The goal is to coast from 6.1-6.3 then back to 6.1-6.3 ect. On day 4 things look good I scoped out the trichs and found some to be filing up with cannabinoids :) maybe she will be done in 7-8 weeks like the breeder says. On day 5 my reservoir temp got into the 80's because when the reservoir gets depleted it lowers the water level below the thermostat and I'm getting into the colder months so the cold air temperatures are causing the heater to heat when not needed. My temporary fix is to place the heater diagonally when the water level gets low and then when the water level drops a little more I will fill my reservoir back up fully so to keep the heaters thermostat running correctly. On day 6 I did another defoliation to improve light penetration and airflow in the canopy. I installed a new "Nano aquarium heater" this will be able to heat my reservoir without being affected by the water level in my reservoir. I also changed out my reservoir and adjusted the PH to 6.1. On day 7 the girls are looking and smelling great! I adjusted my reservoirs PH from 6.6 to 6.1. My Nano aquarium heater seems to do the job nothing out of the ordinary that I could tell after a night in the low 30's.

I can't wait until we have more! The Scrooge has really impressed me! Despite minimal training and almost hands-off approach on my part, the plant has turned out incredibly robust and beautiful! 🌿 So far, there's no sign of the minty aroma, but I'm looking forward to drying and curing to see how the flavors develop. 🍃 It's been a rewarding journey watching this plant grow, and I can't wait to enjoy the final product! 🌟 Overall, it's been a lesson in patience and observation, and I'm grateful for the experience. ✨ All the best to everyone! 🌿

Trichome werden schon langsam milchig und das Zimmer reicht wie ein Coofeshop in Amsterdam nach dem öffnen des Zeltes 🤭. Beide haben auch einen leicht anderen Geruch, da bin ich schon sehr auf das Endergebnis gespannt.

Dinafem Critical Cheese is one of the best plants I have grown! Resistant to mold ( at night sometimes the humidity reached 99.9% and so the wall started to show fungus marks, the situation was rectified by adding an extra fan) . Critical cheese is a pleasure to grow, especially one of them who smells like strong lemony cheesy goodness and is very sticky, my room smells so strong when i open the grow room door! I will try all of Dinafem seeds in the future!

Videos were taken on day 37 of flower. This one has a heavy strawberry aroma and some strange lookin buds. Looks like it will fill in pretty good. It's on the far right of the tent in the videos next to the purple leafed plant.

Hi fam!! So week 6 started out great but then Anchorage , Alaska got hit with a pretty massive earthquake. Roads broken, houses callapsing, etc.. I thought my plants were going to be completely destroyed.. BUT they survived. A few broken leaves and stems.. they were set back a little but that's better than I expected. If these FastBuds can survive a light falling on them, then they deserve some credit. Quality seeds. Great genetics. Happy growing Sending love xoxo

Well she’s is strong and today is day one of flower. I have turned the lights off for the next 24 hours. Cleaned the Reservoir. Increased the nutrients for the flip. I am running 1 mL of each flora grow flora bloom flora micro silica and Cal mag. My 12 hour light schedule be from 8 AM to 8 PM lights on 8 PM to 8 AM lights off. I will need to dehumidify a little bit to get it down to about 50 and then 45 I believe would be good once the pistols start coming in and colas start to grow. Ive been thru a lot with this plant due to user error but the genetics are strong and this plant can take serious abuse. I would absolutely recommend the strain for a beginner as you can see my many mess ups and still this plant survived and is ready to be budded now. She scroged well with topping multiple times. She’s not a fan of heavy nutrients she also does not like a high pH. You can clearly see the bomb genetics in it as these plants tend to explode in growth very easily. I am extremely happy with this growth so far even with the hiccups. I cannot wait to see these callers grow hopefully fat and happy and heavy.

02/03/2022 Bottom deposit has dropped 3 to 4 liters, again. pH was up to 6.2 and EC has dropped to 1.5 (I guess they consume well the nutrients, if it was only evaporation EC should rise). I decide to wait tomorrow to refill and adjust, pH will rise probably to 6.4. I have now some doubts on the remaining space to rise up the light and defoliation of the bottom of the plant. 28/02/2022 Back from WE, everything fine, good smell already. Bottom deposit dropped 4L, pH up to 6.3 Ec dropped to 1.35. I just lowered the pH to 5.8 and tomorrow I fill again the bottom tank and adjust nutrients to 1.7 again. 26/02/22 Tank filled. Adapt nutrients solution to 1.7 EC then wait 24h, bottom solution dropped to 1.5 EC, set pH to 5.8. Will leave for 2 days and not attended... so that would be surprise to see Monday night how pH and EC have evolved!
