Germination (13-1 to 26-1)
13-1
Today i put the seed into a wet coffee filter into a Ziplock bag.
I hang the bag in a dark and warm place so the seed can germinate.
14-1
44 hours later and the root is nice and long enough so i carefully put it inside a 0.5L pot filled with Plagron Lightmix.
I watered with 15ml Spa Reine, and covered it with some plastic foil.

27 hours later and she is already rising above the ground!
I removed the foil and turned on the 20W lamp, set to a distance of 10cm.
After another 20 hours she is fully above ground and let go of her helmet!

She grows nice and at a good phase, but i found out that the fan leaves are showing some signs of a a nutrient deficiency.
Week 6 (3-3 to 9-3)
3-3
Temps: 19.2 to 24.1 degrees
Humidity: 44% to 66%
So... The leaf problem is still there, and its getting even worse, it looks like the deficiency i noticed on the fan leaves is spreading.
I fed her some nutrients last week but no positive progression.
Things i notice:
- The stems are turning purple
- The ridges of the leaves are kinda curled upwards
- Yellowing between leaf veins.
To me it looks like a magnesium deficiency?

And the temps are not even that high too.

Were you able to sort out the nutrient deficiency?
I've had similar issues so i'm curious to know how you made out.
Foliar feeding with epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) and testing my runoff PPM's and pH were a huge help for me.
Best wishes! 😊
@VanCplGrows, Hey thanks for checking out my diary, right now she is doing better!
It looks like a magnesium and sulfur deficiency to me.
I did replace my PH meter that time as i thought it was acting weird, but i'm not too sure if thats what caused it.
