Week#5FLO, Aptus nutrients 💪🏻

This is the first week of flower for Juana, today 01/11 is the first day she is in 12/12 schedule. I will be doing the same top dress for her. They are ragging and showing some good health as well. Maria is behind them in growth but that's ok, i feel i'm running out of space right know. Last week I accidentally broke one Maria's cola :(, poor girl. I was doing some lst and the stem was really tough. I should've been more carefull, my fault.

She's fat, healthy and about ready to be chopped :) She will start flushing at the end of this week

Over all was an amazing grow, super sticky dense nugs with smell of berries, highly recommended for everyone!!

Blue Cheese F1 automatic Week 7 2/16-22 Flower week 3 The Cheese gals are in full bloom, the buds are puffing out and stacking. I even see some lower buds connecting to the upper buds and many pistils are turning brown. Trichomes are minimal and using my phone, they appear milky. There is some smell when I open the tent. The F1 genetics are reflected in that these 2 plants are identical in plant structure. However, blue cheese 2 in soil is maturing more quickly than BC1 that is in coco soil blend. Both girls had leaf tips turning up and I thought tip curl was light burn so I took the cheese gals off the crates. I also moved the carrots to the other tent with the veggie seedlings because Love Potion is getting so big, Another observation BC 1 in coco is showing over feeding by new tips are yellow and most old ones are brown and curling up. BC2 does not show any nutrient issues even though they are given the exact same food. I surely don’t have time for special diets In addition, Love Potion is getting so big, I took the carrots out and put them in the other tent with the veggie seedlings. So how’s the weather you ask? So glad to share pics our Record setting major snowstorm. Coastal Virginia got the brunt of this storm. Virginia Beach had 13 inches and my area of Chesapeake had 12” We had 24 hours of steady snow. We took our kitties out when it first started to see how they would react. They loved it. Well week 3 is here nothing but good growth so far just fed her the remaining quart from the last solution mix and I must say she is loving it. Come Monday I will raise her dose and mix in some grow big. I also started some LST, those bottom tops are receiving so much light penetration now. Day 33 Update Wow!! So for the first time I have opened up GROWDIARIES on a computer, and I must say this is a much better layout and easier to use than my cell phone. I will be doing updates like this from now on. So with the help from @DabCrab I finally came up with a nutrient schedule that I will stick to. I have honestly been all over the place when feeding and it was time for a change, so this will start next feed. I also have decided to switch my light cycle to a 12-12 to determine gender of plants, and will revert back to veg cycle once what ever males are pulled out of the room. I plan on vegging for a very long time, have not decided on how many weeks. I guess however long it takes to fill up the scrog net that I made. I will make the light switch at the start of week 6. Day 65 - Pics/Vids..... Everything looks good......stress bent them into position and defoliated ..... lots of flowering now..... ..... hadn't actually measured them for awhile, and updated the height, 44 cm .... tested out the lights higher, 40cm away, and seemed to slow down growth... so moved em back, 20-25cm... watering is the same, bottom saucer feeding, 850-1000 ppm dutch master one flower 5-8ml/lt.... actually using about 12-15ml / 1.8l....... Day 70 (10 wks) - Pulled em both out of tent, flushed em and trimmed em abit, took some pics/vids in the sunshine. ...... the soil started smelling bad, - stale, moldy, damp, soil smell..... so i did a full flush out on both.... noticed afew gnats, been afew since the start, but haven't really been many.... i'm going to try out a UV bulb, and also a usb uv led bug trap ..... just ordered them.... posted a pic of both... see if they are any good..... 😎

AK-47 Goxuak Autoflower by Genehtik is a truly awesome plant and really really fun to grow! My 1st thought was I wish I had know more when I ordered the seeds. I only bought 1 from the single seed centre .com 🤦‍♂️ Of all the plants our house sitters watched for us back in week 7, this is the only one they regularly ask about and want to know when its finished. Even they loved growing it! And they only spent a week with her and aren't gardeners 😄 Ashoka started in a Jiffy tomato pod and was transplanted almost as an afterthought. In fact we ran out of containers and had to improvise with the water pitcher. (We didn't have high hopes) Oops. The pitcher turned out to be a big benefit in that I could see the roots and diagnose and potential issues. She has been in the same Fox Farms; Happy Frog soil ever since planting the pod into the pitcher. The soil held up good too. Ashoka didn't start showing any deficiencies until the end of week 6, around the middle of her stretch. Correcting this was very easy, we added the recharge at first but it didn't quite do it. We had to feed her Advanced Nutrients Bloom and Grow for about 2.5 weeks. But this Goxuak really never complained : 1:😎 Low Stress Training (LST) for Ashoka was a breeze! At 14 days she was 4" tall and too short to train. She doubled in height in a week and we started training around day 24. Just in the nick of time too! She entered flower about a week after that and stretched like crazy!🤪 the AK-47 gave us about 3 full weeks of nice flexible branches to train before hardening up. We ended up with a pretty even canopy and some solid colas too I wanted to touch on the lighting as there isn't a lot of options on this platform. Ashoka spent her life under 2 different lights. 1st, she sprouted and spent the first 4 weeks vegging under 2x Viparspectra 600w(250 true watts) LEDs at an 18/6 light cycle. She finished her flower and fade under A Optic 8 (500 true watts) LED. At 18/6 At around day 60 I started flushing her.(well my house sitter Sam did the first time) We used Cyco Kleanse and flushed 5 Gallons thru her until the ppm was down to 350ish, I did the next 2 flushes. The 2nd I used Kleanse again getting the runoff ppm to ~120. Her final week I stopped ph-ing the water and just watered tap. I also gave her the 3rd and final flush with straight Ice cold tap water. She really showed a great fade!! Some buds definitely colored up too!! Finally the Harevst: I put her in a 5Gal bucket of ice in complete darkness for 4 days.😈 This was done with the intent to help her produce more resin and frost up. I can't say if it truly worked. She absolutely doubled the trichome production in those 4 days, but idk if it was the time or the darkness and ice. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ I kept her in a sealed closet with a oscillating fan and humidifier at 75°and 63%RH. On the 3rd day I lowered the RH to 50%. She got trimmed and put into jars on the 5th day after harvest. I am monitoring the humidity and burping regularly (8-10x a day) Smoke Report: Creamy pepper with a cherry syrup aftertaste.🤣🤪 I've only smoked a bowl so haven't tested the ashes. But she is curing nice. A bit harsh yet I expect will go away after a couple more days. The high is perfect tho! Just what we wanted. It creeps up on u. But you will be confused by the time you finish the bowl. A very cerebral high(I chopped her whole trichomes were only 10% amber) that was great with good company. My girl andI are both veteran smokers, but this bud still made us both giggly(a rarity). It's a good social smoke and was fun to be on around others. The only downsides were it caused a mild confusion and paranoia. Like I would forget what I was talking about then worry ppl were laughing at me for it(they were though) 🤣🤣 I plan to report more feedback after it had cured a couple weeks. I'll invite others people's opinions as well. Right now I can definitely say the AK-47 Goxuak from Genehtik it an autoflower I would recommend to anyone, but especially new auto growers. I will be ordering more next season if they ate available. Genehtik has won me over. They genetics were extremely stable and safe. No herms no deficiencies nothing but greatness! 🌱🌱🌱 I had to share! I was looking on the breeder Instagram page( @Genehtik_chile) and they used a few of my pictures of Ashoka to represent their AK-47 Goxuak auto. I really feel honored by this. I have only been growing for 5 months and know I'm not good, but it's inspiring and motivating when the breeder of the strain give you an attaboy like this. Thanks Genehtik! I sowed cantaloupe bag seeds directly to flower box drip irrigation.I transplanted my white widow seedling to flower box. So the new line up this run is cantaloupe, blueberry, Girl Scout cookies and white widow. Cantaloupe seeds sprouted and i will keep the most vigorous grower.bb is throwing pistils.GSC is producing first set of true leaves. At the end of week 2 cantaloupe has first leaves so does white widow. My Gsc has first set of true leaves and my blueberry is putting out pistils and trichs.Things are going well

APRIL 18TH 2024 - The 3rd batch of clones was taken yesterday and mother plants stripped back aggressively now that focus will be going toward the beds and clones. The generation 2 mom's are going to be vegged up and ready to produce our second harvest's set of clones. We have taken 3 batches of clones kept them in half gallon bags in each of the beds so we can pick the absolute best of each to transplant into the beds & proceed into the grow with. Next update will be of each individual diary! We got @Seedsman Purple Ghost Candy in this cycle by splitting the Exotic Animal bed half Purple Ghost Candy ! On the Kitty cat front, Barns finally got the courage to approach us over a few days, Maybe a week.
