Plants are in good health and start to be covered of trichomes. Leaves beagan to be quite sticky and here and there trichomes seems to be a thin layer of icy snow. Completing the sixth week of flowering, plants overcome more than the half of flowering stage and I can't wait to see the final result.

July 4th *** PurpsBerry is in Flower *** - calling this week-2 Flower because her Branches are covered in them. Yes it brings questions into the genetics… here in week 14 of Veg… at least we will have something to smoke while Harvesting the rest - on July 2 purpsberry had the soil amended to Bloom Fertilizers, Compost, worm castings etc and her next meal is Bloom nutes - rOOF95, CloudWalker will drink on some Root Boost when they are next thirsty (6th, fed) 8th - PurpsBerry was fed 2 gallons and Bloom Microbes were used for the first time. Diet change here we go

Day 63 Last week of feeding except for Lemon cherry cookies she has another 2 weeks of food. The smell of Lemon is very loud Pound cake had a nutrient lockout... i fed her with only water for the last 3 times.. so i will feed her a bit now.. Northern lights are starting to mature... the buds dont look so big on photo... but they are fat and tight... hehehe

I keep increasing the light and she seems to enjoy it, growing new bud sides and leaves everyday. Defoliation continues. I can’t go below 25-26 Celcius due to increased light though. She has also been moved to back middle.

Day 63 flowering (77 days since flip). This lady smells beautiful now. Her pistils are golden orange in so much of her bud but still pushing last ditch attempts to save herself. Bud size is good and they are rock solid too. love this girl and will be sad to cut her down. Yellowing off nicely ready to eat up those chlorophyll stores in the darkness. She will be in her dark period this evening , 48 hrs and she is going to be trimmed and ready to dry. UPDATE☆☆ day 67 and she is out of her dark period trimmed and hanging for her final harvest. Some great buds on her and i think about 6 oz of solid , orangey nugs. cannot wait to try her out.

Really healthy. I've mixed it up with ripen a bit. I know its only for the last few days, but I'm trying something out, it suits my growing style, I know what it does. So I've lowered the PPM to 480 on this water change, I've cut the bloom down to 1/3 .33 and I've matched ripen ml/ml .33 and to keep some N in the mix I added half of the bloom boosters. So mixing them like this works out a really good NPK ratio. I reckon 2-5-5. I've changed the water, haven't added any H2o2 yet, as it's not needed and it'll only attack my roots, it's been a learning experience with h2o2 but I think I'm getting close to getting a better grips of how bacteria works. I adjust the PH 2-3 times a day, I won't need to today as I've only changed the water so should get 40hrs or so out of it. I'll have to add H2o2 tomorrow. Water temps will jump up to 26c before lights go out tonight. So I should be fine till tomorrow. I haven't had to do much but just keep a eye on the water, watch for slime, I know the smell of rot and root water now, both a foul but rot water is unmistakable. My roots are very weak, I'm afraid to add silica at this point because of what hit my other DWC I do not know. All I know it had silica in the water. So, I've pult back off it and the h2o2 has taken a beaten on my roots. But I'm learning and the degradation is a lot less, and to be able to grow a healthy plant at 27c water is just amazing I think. And I know no hydroguard wouldn't keep the rot away at that temps. The roots are black now just because of the PH + adjuster has turned them that way but they are healthy and so is the plant. She has her old wounds of course and I could get rid of all them leafs to show a 100% healthy looking plant but if I were to do that, I'd have to remove 20% of the leafs and the top is already very thin on leaf growth. Just going to keep a close eye on her and try get her over the next 20days. The buds are getting so heavy branches are having real trouble keeping themselves up. I've had to keep tucking them behind stronger nodes. The buds aren't big and have long colas like my soil mainline but these buds are smaller but still big stand alone buds that are rock hard and have very little trim. She's extremely frosty. I had a little taste of her, she was sadly very disappointing. DWC definitely needs to be cleaned. All I could taste was nutrients. Very hard to get a taste of the weed, that I know is there, I got super high of it, but was super harsh, I know chemical cough when I smoke it. Tapering nutes off for the flush. Also added a small amount of Barley as a top dress to help her finish off.

During this week, I have only occasionally defoliated to get better light on the inflorescences. I don't know when to put it into flower yet, as the smallest bush (Fruit Diesel) is looking quite pitiful, having just turned a month old. Other bushes are a couple weeks ahead of Fruit Diesel. What do you think, should I give it another week of vegetation or should I switch it to flowering at the end of the week?

This week went pretty well, other than she stretched like crazy and I am now getting worried about running out of vertical space. I also had a few of my bottom leaves get a few brown and yellow spots on them. I did post some pics and asked a question, thank you for the responses, much appreciated! I am thinking about adding my Spyder Farmer LED 100 Watt light into the tent for the nebula auto because it is about 23 inches shorter than the sour diesel. I believe it would only raise my temp about 2 degrees, and possibly lower the humidity by one or two percent. I must say my dehumidifier has been a freaking stud, running 24X7 and not complaining. I should look into adding another unit, it has been in the mid 90's and muggy for about a week. So far I have to say I am super impressed and excited with this setup, the genetics, and with growing this wonderful plant in general. Already planning ahead to my next grow, and what I can do better. I have been enjoying myself and I really appreciate everyone who has taken the time to answer my questions! I am having a blast and am excited to see what this lady will give up in a few weeks!

Flowering day 23 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey everyone ☺️. The plants develop beautifully even if they are very small in this experiment, especially the front ones 😂👍. Compared to the grow before when I did a scrog with the same genetics in the same system, there is of course much less leaf mass here. But this time I wanted just such little trees for testing purposes 😃👍. This week the entire water is changed again like every 12-15 days approx. From then on I will also go up to EC 1.3 because the flowers are starting to form well :-). More follows in next update. Hello. After I took the video I flushed the plants and had back flow into the 15 gallon barrel. Measured the ph and it was 6.2 Good enough. Just checked my calendar where I've written my info for years, (grow diaries is new to me) I saw this is almost the end of week 7 for me (Thursday was the first 12/12 and then I count from there) With the tents help I started flowering on May 28. I'll start my flush (with 1 ounce of Hydrogen Peroxide to 5 gallons of water) after 8 weeks and harvest after 2 weeks of flush. I'll give it some dark days only if it's wet and rainy, a black tent in a greenhouse gets too hot. I've found some more powdery mildew this week. I 've bought a product called White Wash. It's frequency changed water. Knocks it right out. We need some hot days here to kill the spores. In the video you'll see the plants (girls) that have volunteered to have sex with the male Dr Atomic Northern Lights I have under my lights, 20/4 that i start my vegetables under in the early spring. The girls and the male will be put in my smaller greenhouse around August 1 and will be put back in this greenhouse to finish to seeds. I'll keep you informed. Talk to ya later. Chuck.
