The 2nd week of 12/12 cycle went smooth. 😌 The screen is almost filled up and I saw pre-flowers on all 4 Runtz. A few larger fanleaves that blocked light for lower shoots were removed. But i've spotted some fungus gnats 😐, so I've placed a few of those yellow sticky things between the plants. That was today, so tommorow I'll check if I've caught a few. Temperatures fluctuated between 17°C (62.6°F) and 23.8°C (74.8 °F). Humidity stayed between 39 – 68%. The high humidity maxima is because I still spray them once in a while. The normal levels are between 40 - 50%. It also got a little bit brighter in the growroom. 😎 The cobs went from 71cm (28 inches) and 236 watt to 70cm (27,5 inches) and 244 watt. This week I gave them fed tap water once on day 11 of the 12/12 cycle (ph 6,38 – ec 1,39). The rest of the week was pure tap water (ph 6,37 – ec 0,5). And I gave them their second CannaCurespray shower. (50ml/250ml) Just a few more days and I can start counting the actual flowering days.😀 That was the second week 12/12 in a nutshell. Ok guys so she was bushy again and so we did defoliation again. You can see the difference and then after that started flowering even more Plus the fact we are increasing the amount of molasses added to the soil plus the floranova bloom nutes. They are very thirsty girls, taking around 1.5-2lts per 48 hrs So almost like a 1 liter per 24 hrs Very good SoG to make them feel even more comfortable Going to change schedule from 24/0 to 19/5 and see if they evolve! Thinking about adding some humus to the soil as well, other than that they have been under good conditions Temp is steady at day time around 24C top and night time is 18-19C minimum RH around 45-60% Mostly 45% control environment with AC Cant wait to see big colas coming soon! Great progress. Accidentally broke one of the lowest branches trying to do lst so I won't be trying that again. My methods are going to be defoliation until preflower which is coming up soon/already started, and then a small Supercrop. The defoliation has triggered some increased speed in growth I've noticed. I still feel like it's short though

Day 1 of flo, description in OG Kush Diary, I'm really curious about this bush. I think I will taste great from what people told me it'd been really good for making some wax also, I like how I managed that canacopy I know I can do better but it's my first time trying this actually... I'm kinda beating myself up because I wanted a bit longer branching but next time I think I will try doing this with all 4 of my plants just because I like how it looks Day 3: sorry to see that beautiful bushy structure having to come off, I enjoyed looking at it but time to give those bigger buds some space and give the plant some energy to the top so I'm removing all unnecessary small little branching to increase the airflow etc.. I enjoy working on my plants. Day 4: flo so I managed to get rid of most of the bush and alot more of the plant has opened up, I removed mostly smaller branches and let the bigger ones stay just to see how I can further improve this In future and what to look for. I could watch all the videos I want but without a 1st hand experience it's always just a theory , there's always room for improvement every grow in my opinion. 8 Feburary Update: I flushed all 3 with some water and fed 10ml of each a and b + additives they responded very well soon on day 7 I'm planning to start giving them more bloom nutrients after flushing the medium just a little once more so I can really push it and make sure my ppm is high enough without too much salt buildup, for that I will be using cal mag water followed up by final dose of grow a + B with some big bud I'm trying to avoid that saltbuildup at all costs here as this is my first grow in 7 Years here in Germany 🇩🇪😁, btw the water quality here is so much better than in Ireland... I gotta be careful with pests alot living on the bottom floor, thing is a nightmare...

Thanks for tuning in. The harvest was great and the bud smoked very nice. It served me well for more than a month. Shark widow being one of the closest strains to being a pure indica was satisfying and couch locking at the same time. I'll definitely miss smoking this strain and even more growing it. I grew a shark widow prior to this one, it was Infact my first grow. It hold up well and grow easy.

Not much to say about this real first grow week’s start. Everything looks ok, steady growth at 40% light. I had to restart the control app a few times, therefore the broken graphs. At night times, the control software tries to attain optimum humidity rather than optimum VPD. That’s why VPD is dropping when the lights are out. CO2 is back to baseline – really wonder what the reliable values are … I found I have to silence the blowers when a timelapse photo is being taken. The shaking you see at the beginning of the grow video should not appear, or to a much less degree, in the future. Day 13 (July 30th) shows good, steady growth. Leaves are a bit spotty, although less then the processed images show. Something to be worried about? I would not currently … All are developing their 3rd nodes now. The controlling Raspberry Pi crashed last night when I tried to access it remotely … ;( – looks like the Connect software is in need of an update. The leaf temperature sensor is now really aimed at lady-to-be nr. 1’s leaves. Nothing to change that I see. I won’t cut the top yet, just watered the outer circle of the big pots slightly to encourage root growth. Day 14: Nice growth. First plant is now at 11 cm, and at 12 cm on day 15. Nothing special to report so far, except for I had to move the internal camera a bit upwards to keep little lady #1 in focus. Day 16 and last day of this week (Aug 2nd): The young ladies are now at about 14 cm tall. Growth looks very compact though. I think the two inside girls will lose their heads next week; I’d still prefer to have one or two more nodes available. Pictures of this day are taken at the end of the plants’ day. Notice their leaves are pointing upwards, which should be a sign that they want more light. I turned the lights up by another 20% for a total of 60 W now. Weather was pretty hot the last days so it wasn’t possible to stay in optimum VPD range but as long as growth is this satisfying I don’t mind. I will water them slightly at their next day start. Outside plant’s soil humidity might still be at around 58% officially, but drying starts at around 40% with this measurement and the sensors are placed quite closely to the stems so outer soil is dryer. I am preparing the plant water with some additions and a frequency imprint suing some Solfeggio and Schumann frequencies.

So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

So everything took off in flower, I was super harsh with the defoliating which initially I regretted, but was surprised with how they packed out during the following weeks. In general it's impressive how hardy these plants are. Even the outdoor grows yielded some quality. Add some more nuets (overdrive and carbo load), before flushing about 14 days before harvest, next time I'll do this earlier and really the Runtz could have gone another week but my drying needs to happen in the same space as my growing for now. Apologies for the quality of image, I'm just using my phone and some bits I have to document, I collect records too, so expect weird noises lol. Build a rotating plat from a lazt susan I found, has been the best piece of kit added this season.

Hey everyone 😃 The time has come , On flowering day 67 the harvest was carried out 😍. After spending two days in the darkroom at 62% humidity, they were now harvested cleanly by hand 😃. After harvesting, they were laid out on the net as usual, where they can now slowly dry again for about 7-10 days at 62%. 12/28 Week 7 Wow well looking around there are a lot of plants not sure how we will reconcile space issues with so many of them recovering but glad to have the problem. More than likely convert the veg tent but still damn In Flower Pussy Galore (FF7) is showing their classic stretch to the ceiling, working on it. Octopussy(LSD) and Plenty (GC) doing very well look great really In veg - big girl feed 24ml/g grow + occasional Kangaroots Solitaire (CC) and Chew Mee (FF2) moving towards size to flower couple more inches needed to compete with the big girls. FF7 is just a stretchy girl, this was expected and did what we could with gentle bend and secure within a cage to keep things manageable. Octopussy is a perfect lady, growing very well, no cage for her. Plenty required a little discipline so she got a cage. Three more plants headed this way within a week or two, FF2 FF6 Gold Leaf 12/30 Three FFT-7 clones have rooted very well. Transplanted into solo cups to begin the contest for the coveted two F7 slots in the grow. Other clones still no roots but its way early 12/31 Late night staff meeting on how to proceed. Clones - ... are on their own in the small tent, will use the small tent and seedling station to bring them along but will veg in the small. Just do the best we can here should be fine. No more clones will be taken that would only make the space issues worse. Flowering tent... I can take two more plants but they will have to be flipped small-ish (13") and grow more vertical than wide so no topping on Dink and Bambi which will flower in this tent. Medicinals... should have been flipped smaller I reckon, hard to get that right but they are large and healthy so keeping them smaller is easier than making them bigger. Not really higher than we wanted just not sure when the stretch will end and the stretch is always out and up. Pussy is the largest so far but Octo is catching up at least in height. Plenty doing great love how she is growing. Solitaire and Chew Mee outstanding looking plants. Wish I had space for their clones. Veg tent... Dink and Bambi moving toward departure in a few days Rest of them flower here, will flip on the smallish side no real choice have to assume they will get larger than planned. Just have to decide when, will put up the divider for the seedling area so they wont interfere with each other. Thats it doing well

Wow! She has been upgraded to a 4x4 tent with 600w of flowering lights (2x Mars Hydro TSL2000; 300w each) and she is LOVING IT! Continuing on the Early Bloom nute schedule and holding a super-solid pH/EC through the end of this week. Her uptake has started to slow, so I'm thinking that she is close to being done with stretch. She is definitely going crazy with buds as it looks to me like they swell more each day. I've been very happy with her growth so far; impressed even. I'm just hoping that the increased lighting doesn't cause her to herm due to the close distance. The girls took off after some training and topping. I broke a stem training the green crack so I had to make a splint for her. I’m also noticing the leaves starting to like pinch at the bud sites. I read that this may be wind burn? Help.
