Germination week has begun for my Autumn 2021 grow! These are seeds of Mephisto Genetics Deep Blue C x Sour Bubbly that I was given by the widow of my recently passed fellow grower buddy, Adam. I'm honoured to keep this hobby of ours alive and what better way than to use seeds Adam was growing himself. I've been using this germination technique lately of just placing the bean in the little containers seeds come in sometimes (as pictured) filled with some water. I've had 100% success so far usually after 2 days or so. Hope I didn't just jinx it! Update: I was away and didn't take the seeds out in time, left them in water for nearly 48 hrs. My fault. Out of 5 seeds, 3 visibly damped off. Planted the 2 seeds with healthy taproots into soil to grow some before transplant.

Things are coming along here now, won’t be too much later for these plants. Probably start thinking about flushing 2 of them soon, I suspect the soil is loaded with a high ratio of nutes, think next time won’t use the high nute soil and go for total control. Already harvested one plant already, it was the smallest one, a bit early but she was milky and a few ambers, think she got me 25.55 dry in jar now. Letting the Others hit 50 % amber before harvest those. Two in back big stretch on them,the one left in front short and fatter, say she going next in a bit

Hey guys, it's been a great journey but I've finally hung my Stardawg out to dry! Yesterday was their last day totalling 8 weeks on flower. Realistically they could have benefited from a further week because the lower buds are somewhat underdeveloped but then I would risk losing the preferred sweet high smoke of the top buds. With this being my first attempt it's been a great learner not only for how to care for the plants but also the environment. As soon as these went into flower and started stretching I knew that putting 6 in a 2.4 x 1.2m tent was a bad idea. They just got so big which is the cause of the lower sites not being as good as the top colas. Despite that I'm really happy with the outcome and I'm hoping ive got 30oz+ of real good quality nugs. All of the top colas have turned a gorgeous violet colour too which you can see on the pictures and I absolutely love. For my next grow I've gone with 6 fastbuds strains which hopefully will go under a scrog. Check back next week for the harvest and weigh in!

Non riesco più ad aggiornare il diario come sempre comunque è stata una settimana bellissima! Ogni varietà sta completando le fioritura in maniera abbondante. Infiorescenze dure e molto resinose si formano in ogni parte delle piante. Sembrano tutte XXL di dimensioni! Molto profumate ogni varietà ha il suo raffinato aroma, non manca molto alla fase finale della fioritura. Sono felice di ogni varietà, complimenti a chi le ha create! Un abbraccio a tutti

Day 70 in soil 😁😁😁 I never thought I'd make it this far tbh! I stopped giving the ladies nutes and have just started feeding phed water, and they seem to have all really taken well to it, some last week showing signs of problems which I think was due to the last feed, minor flush and all seem to be okay I think. The smell now is very strong when the tents open a lovely fruity aroma, touching the buds leaves the hands covered and stinking of a fruity lemon/citrus smell (could live with the smell, unreal). The buds have all started to fatten up massively over the last 14 days, some plants producing some amazing colours, all plants have their own difference however all producing equally as good bud sits and growth. I have no past growing experience but im glad I went for dinafem critical 2.0 after some research prior they have been forgiving throughout my learning stages and have been easy maintenance so far! Will get a few close ups with the jewlers glass tomorrow, thinking off letting them run another 7 days until harvest what's everyone's opinions? - Week 7 - ----- Day 43 ----- Fed 1150ppm @ 6.4ph 23 Liters. Hard to get above 1200 ppm now. More molasses being used, maximum Koolbloom dry powder as well. Tropicanna Glookies is starting to turn purple. Wedding Cake is fattening up FAST More photos later this afternoon mid light cycle. *Update* Big bulk phase is 100% on right now. Wedding Cake is thicker than a tall can of beer in 4-5 nugs easily. Tropicanna Glookies is sweating out trichomes and getting super sticky while slowly turning purple Great things await for these 2 ladies over the next 20 days. *Update* 2 close up shots of some purpling on the Tropicanna Glookies. ----- Day 44 ----- Here's a video. slow easy day of nothing ----- Day 45 ----- I see a tiny bit of yellowing at edges, nothing serious. I don't have to feed every 2 days now anyways its slowed to 3. I top off the ones near turgor pressure loss levels ( I check my whole hand down side of pot for moisture now) with tap water when needed today. Tomorrow will be feeding ~1000ppm most likely due to using Diamond Nectar chelating nutrients with large amounts of blackstrap molasses when combined and left in the reservoir before use. This seems to drop the detectable ppm even though it retains a high level of nutrient content... with Cal/mag (1-0-0) and KoolBloom Powder which is like a 0-30-40 its wildly powerful. Back right Tropicanna smells like Pineapple Sour Patch Kids without the sour. Its insane. I wish I had smell o' vision for you folks right now. Wedding Cake is like sugary sweet but weed esque... earthy esque type of thing. Not the Tropicanna... Shits fruity like kool-aid. Nugs are getting humongous and its pretty fun to watch it fill in, I had a low level anxiety of it never "Filling" in... but yea it's day 45 and look at Big Bertha... nearly dwarfing my fat ass arm... wild shit. Feel like these ladies have at least another 14~ days on the lower end. Wedding Cake should finish a week after Tropicanna... Trying to grab Wedding Cake "indica" tendencies and max them by going for 40-50% amber, 60-50% cloudy trichomes with under 2% (like literally 1-3 clear per 60X magnifying pic) clear trichomes. Tropicanna only 20% ish amber until clear is only about 20% of trichome and cloudy makes up roughly 60% of total trichome finishing... ----- Day 46 ----- Easy day Fed 1050ppm @ 6.4ph 13 Liters only. I want the root zones to dry out more and quicker, less chance of mold and other root rot issues. Cutting watering/feeding in half now but will be feeding prob twice as much. Buds are fattening FAST and are turning purple. Looks like I got the purple pheno Wedding Cake. Woot. ----- Day 47 ----- Easy day Buds are gettin freaky. Really poppin out now. It's quite awesome to see. **Update** *** HEIGHT CHANGE EXPLAINED! *** Took the Tropicanna's off the pot risers I DIY'd and brought them to the floor. Gives light in between the 2 plants at the side and also helps remove any light burn on the tropicanna, as I have been noticing a very slight tinting of too much light in the central part of the tent. Plants look incredible, tiny bit of tip burn but im not too worried, I'm feeding 1000-1200 ppm at the moment. Speaking of which, fed some tap water, 500ml each, they were dry enough to warrant a turgor pressure loss top up. Feeding tomorrow. Enjoy some lights off shots. ----- Day 48 ----- Fed @ 1150ppm 6.4ph 13L Easy peasy lemon squeezy, here's a new video for you guys n gals. 14~ days to go. ----- Day 49 ----- They're getting super thirsty again. woke up dry. gave 500ml tap water each plant. Will do the same this evening. Tomorrow feeding going to go to 16 Liters instead of 13 Liters. I'm lazy and don't want to water daily. Plants look phenomenal, buds are getting massive. The Wedding Cake on the left is throwing out paintbrushes thick of pistils, it's quite insane. Gonna be a hell of a plant around day 63!!! Day 53 i'll start checkin trichomes and start posting x20-x60 shots.

Week 4 and we're watching the grass grow. As Trichomes start to develop upon touch I smell a strong lemony limey smell, best way to describe it is a strong lemon Cleaner scent, it is a Very pleasant scent actually. The foliage is starting to fill back in a bit after the Defoliation. The free seed Pheno is doing amazing and handled and has recovered from the Defoliation quite well as well as the other phenos. The second larger Pheno #2 I've noticed in the past week some purpling of the stem and it's doesn't seem to have as fast growth as Pheno 4. I don't know if the purple is being caused by the Defoliation or if it due to the temp drop when lights are off which would be an average of about 68 degrees. I will continue to monitor to see how it has effected the plant of if it causing and color changes in the buds.

Things are getting frosty around here! Critical Cures are at the top of the class. Critical Mass is in second. Charlotte's Angels are in third. Durga Mata is in fourth, with Blue Shark rounding out the pack as far as blooms are concerned, and how far along they are. This week I used the last of my "Tiger Bloom" and "Big Bloom" and I didn't feel like buying more, so I started making compost tea! It comes from my pile that consists of kitchen scraps, horse, chicken and sheep manure. They seem to be liking it. I also gave them a little nitrogen foliar spray this morning. I've had to spray insecticidal soap twice this week. Smells so fragrant out there, it's attracting a lot of bugs. I sent a pic of one of the Critical Cure's to a friend of mine saying "Not long now!" (As in like 3-4 weeks on this particular plant) to which he replied: "You've still got 6-7 weeks!" No, just no. Same guy also told me my plants would be 8 ft high. Ha! Silly boys.

Entering week 3 nice and strong, my big girl have formed 4 levels of branches, we can now see the fan leafs starting to get thick and shaped like Indica leafs. Both girls show such good resistance to drastic changes so far, I had to travel and got a friend to come over and give them some love, boy oh boy, for my surprise (as a newbie) the variations of humidity jumping from 45% to 80%, I thought the plants were going to show sign of stress, however they are as green as ever, leafs look nice and healthy!! I am having some difficulties in stabilizing the environment inside my grow tent since transplanting both plants into the 5 gallon smart pots, humidity is all over the place. I have to be constantly checking, turning the exhaust system on and off if I want to maintain the levels between 50 and 60%. Now, When I get up in the morning and check the thermometer humidity have been as low as 44% and as high as 77%, I am wondering if my light schedule is the problem…I have lights off from 12am to 4am and than lights on for the rest of the clock. Just a perfect outdoor grow, after last year I wasn't very confident that the plants would finish, but the dry weather helped a lot. It's about the journey too for me, just love to see them grow everyday, combat problems and have a big community here that's always willing to help!
