03/05/2021 Beginning of week 4 looking good, I think she will start flowering in week 5-6, so I might top her, she is growing fast so I hope it will not harm flowering time. Ps. I did top And 24 hours later I can see all is well, where I topped her is healing, and side branches responding! I know she will be ready for flowering. Check out video and see.

Not much lateral growth, main stem still

Ok so I'm really impressed with this autoflower. It's a monster in my opinion. I really pushed it hard for a day or two during a heat wave. Temps were 88F, I gave it a Full dose of PK booster ( LiquidKool Bloom ) and some Raw Citrus. Plant suck the bucket DOWN FAST. I thought alright its liking it. It did but it also burned it pretty badly. So I watered it down and got a cal-mag deficiency lol. Then during the heat wave I was being to brave and left to work for 12 hours with high temperatures and the plant tops at about 2 and a half feet when its recommended 3 feet. Totally my fault. But man oh man, she took all of it pretty well in my opinion. She's a little burnt but the FROST on the buds are insane outside the tent lights. It hasn't even had 1 night of sleep its entire life. 8/15 Checked ppm and pH, felt brave and added full dose PK. 8/16 Checked ppm and pH, pH remained steady at 5.9, ppm climbed to 1200. I let it run. 8/17 Checked ppm and pH, pH remained steady at 5.9, ppm climbed to 1400 and the bucket was empty. I knew I'd see burned tips soon. Added plain pH water, dropped to 800ppm. Left it to drink water. 8/18 Checked ppm and pH, tips showing burn but its definitely swelling, was it worth it? So far I'm thinking yes. Definitely yes. Ppm 950, pH 6.0 8/19 Checked ppm and pH, ppm at 1100, pH at 6.2 I watered it down with plain pH water to 700. I was feeling brave again, added more sweetener and PK booster. Ppm at 900. ( I made a mistake over the last 2 days and forgot to add cal-mag) 8/20 Checked ppm and pH, ppm went down to 800, pH at 6.2. Made no adjustments just added Cal-mag. I already had a slight deficiency going but not adding ANY to a plant that drinks 2 gallons a day was a huge mistake. It got a lot of brown patches and yellow but not everywhere. I also realized it was to close to the CMH. Plus a heat wave sent my temp to 88F while I was at work, not sure how long. I think I got a little bit of foxtail going on the very top tips. Adjusted temperature and raised light as high as I could. 8/21 Checked ppm and pH. This plant just eats and drinks to much. None of my other plants come close to this one. I have to check it everyday. My others can go up to 3 days untouched. This monster is impressive. I would reccomend this autoflower to anyone, but it says it's an intermediate grow level. It's been super easy for me. Really hope this monster finishes soon. All trichromes are clear. I used a macro lens from a fish eye kit you can buy for any phone to make that macro video, i highly recommend them it’s so easy to see when i can harvest , these are also very cheap but you do need a steady hand haha. I smoked some smaller buds about a week after harvest & it already tastes amazing almost like a reaalllyy sweet banana haha & the burn is good also i was suprised it was smokeable so fast. Fat banana is one of my favourite strains from now on! I also had 1 Sour Diesel in the tent but i’m still curing that one

Mid-week, I topped the plants, and #2 has been selected as the mother plant, showing growth traits closest to the Skunk phenotype. I chose this plant for its expected resilience, which I'm now starting to test. The plants are currently receiving foliar feedings three times a day and are kept in very humid conditions. #2 was exposed to intense LST, with the stem slightly bending at this young stage — there’s a chance I might need to grow a new mother plant, but we’ll see how it recovers. So far, they’re loving the conditions and growing quickly!

Es ist geschafft. Nach fast acht Wochen wurde geerntet. Trotz großer Probleme in der Blüte, bin ich absolut überrascht. Das sich so tolle Buds unter den endlosen Blättern versteckt haben, hätte ich nicht erwartet. Steinhart, harzig und echt wenig Popcorn. ich habe wohl noch nie so lange an einer Pflanze gesessen. Das Blätter - Blüteverhältis hatte leider nicht so ganz gepasst, aber egal. Um so besser, dass es nun erledigt ist. Der Geruch wurde gegen Ende der Blüte glücklicherweise graslastiger. Jetzt trocknet alles im Keller bei 18 Grad und 60% rlf. Das war auch mein erster Photorun mit Living Soil. Die Probleme in der frühen und mittleren Blüte möchte ich nicht darauf schieben. Die Pflanze wurde echt noch super zum Schluss.

Desde hace un par de días inicié el lavado (todos los riegos que restan solo con agua neutra y aumentando el volumen) en esta instancia ya ha logrado aumentar un poco más el volumen de sus flores y la cantidad de tricomas es bastante generosa. Ahora solo a esperar que esta hermosa termine de amarillear sus hojas, se seque el sustrato y tocará cosecharla ??

🌸 Week 4 Flower — stacking hard! 🌸 This week buds really started to bulk up and frost over ❄️. Pistils are everywhere, calyxes swelling, and the tent is getting that loud smell — fruity and gassy terps filling the air 🚀. Humidity is now fully under control thanks to the dehumidifier (holding steady at 50–55%), so no more worries about mold 👌. Light intensity is increased to max safe PPFD, and I can clearly see the difference in bud density. Nutrients are now PK-heavy with Big Bud Powder and Bud Candy — plants are clearly loving it 🍭💪. I also added Rhino Skin to strengthen the cell walls, making them more resistant to stress. Mistakes from earlier are visible (JetFuel is still behind in size), but the rest of the plants are pushing hard. Looking forward to the trich explosion next week ✨.

Northern light is looking good. She has gotten acclimated, and has started making progress in the grow. I am not a expert in soil grows by any means. Keeping the wet to dry cycle right has been my biggest challenge in soil. She is looking fine, and everything is looking great so far. Nothing else to report at the moment. Stayed in veg for all three photoperiods (Oracle OG, Blue Bitch, Strawberry Cola Sherbet). Raised the main light to ~80% on Sept 30; side lighting unchanged. Oracle OG remained on the lighter side but structurally sound with steady new growth; Blue Bitch stayed the tent leader—dense, dark, and vigorous; Strawberry Cola Sherbet held steady, slightly lighter than Blue Bitch but not worsening. No new amendments this week (last top-dress was Sept 17). Environmental focus dominated: tent RH was stubborn around ~60% even with the inline exhaust cranked, and local rain on Oct 3 kept the garage/tent humidity elevated. Overall, a stabilization week: dialing environment, keeping inputs moderate, and queuing a compost tea before any flip.

Beginning of week 9(Flower): Plant still isn’t doing much, but she does look damn good. I love this plant. The entire apartment seems to smell when walking in. I realized I may have had my carbon filter setup wrong. I was pulling air from the grow tent without the filter inside, it would push the air out of the fan and through another duct and then finally into the carbon filter. I feel a lot of the smelly air was escaping this way. Hopefully this makes a difference. I took a clipping of a sugar leaf today and put it under my 60x microscope. This is my first time really checking on the trichomes, so I could be completely off, but it seems that 10% of the trichomes turned amber. I should be waiting for 30% amber before I harvest this? 2 more weeks I think? I’ll continue to check each week. Maybe I’ll try to get a check mid-week sometime. It has been 1 week now since I’ve given her nutrients, still looking really healthy.

The colas keep filling out and getting longer and smell amazing. It's been warmer and more humid outside so RH in the tent has gone up. I added a mini air purifier I wasn't using (no ozone) as an extra precaution against mildew. I woke up in the middle of the night on Monday and realized that the air purifier has a light on it so I got up and turned it off. I was worried that I'd messed with the dark cycle so I left them in darkness for an extra 2.5 hours. My cool tube fan fell off the next day, onto my plants. They look undamaged. I taped it up again and set up a safety wire like the filter and fan have. I need a better solution for next cycle. The buds are beautiful and having an even canopy is great. It's hard not thinking about the end result. The buds still look small compared to the big colas of a traditional grow shape but there's still a couple weeks left. There is some bud formation under the canopy but it's a little light. The tops of the colas are fat but short on the 7 gallon plants and taller and thinner on the 5 gallon plants. I did leave a couple offshoots on that developed in late veg/early flower. By the time I caught them, I felt they were too mature to chop and I thought they helped fill out certain areas. But those ones have fewer bud sites and tend to be just a cola on a branch that shoots straight up which is still good. I do wonder if less crowding would have given me bigger buds, but I think it has more to do with pot size. This is week 7 of flower. I switched to half strength nutes and started adding fancy molasses (18ml/gallon). I broke my pH tester and didn't replace my SCROG net until after I finally watered the next day so the canopy changed a bit. I took the opportunity to rearrange the plants a bit. Crystal formation increased a crazy amount the day after I started adding molasses. I think I'll keep adding molasses even during flush. The CBD Blue Shark has this really beautiful white glow. The pistils are very strong and white and the trichromes reflect back this silver light. The leaves are a nice semi-glossy dark green which gives great contrast. It's just a beautiful plant. The Wedding Cake has a lot more colour with lots of red hairs and some yellow tones in the pistils. The fan leaves are more prone to yellowing and death than the leaves on the CBD BS. The buds seem more structurally dense and are really working on these pyramid shapes that look like delicious orange and green snacks. The buds on the CBD Blue Shark are more symmetrical and kind of otherworldly like some kind of sea creature.

9/6 - Looks like 6 of 6 germinated. They are now in the nursery. Going in the Organic direction with this grow. First time trying it but i like the fact that you can have a "living soil", reuse the soil, and a big thing thing for me is that you don't have to flush like you probably should if you use salt based synthetic nutrients. My 2 cents. 9/14 - progressing nicely. Installed a better light source for them.
