This week I decided to remove the LST and let her strech out as much as she wants. I lollipopped her on day 49 and cutted down all the branches that will never grow to the light. She has to strech as much as possible because there are some way taller plants under the same light. I hope she gonna produce some nice flower and will continue to strach abit. Thanks Fastbuds for the Amazing Strain !

Last days for most of them - only Strawberry Cough will stay longer - she is super hungry and I can not keep up with feeding her - most of leaves are yellow now. 😱 The rest - four plants will be harvested on the weekend - 2-3 days from now and frozen - I'll be making bubble hash and fresh frozen live resin from them in the following weeks 😈 Trichomes are mostly milky with some amber starting - ideal ripeness and time to freeze those glands

As of day 28, the NYC Diesel is growing vigorously and seems healthy. The post LST branching I was hoping for a week ago has occured so I am happy with the width and evenness of the canopy as well. I am regularly removing and tucking foliage which is helping with how dense this plant is (lots of branching with minimal internodal spacing). I feel like it is on the cusp of flowering, so I am preparing to change up the nutrients over the next week. I will continue with the LST if there continues to be quite a bit of stretch. Day 29: Switched to GH Flora for nutrients. Starting low and will dial it up. Thanks for reading!

91 days!!! This week, I gave the girl 2 waterings with biobizz nutrients, it also rains and receives rainwater:) I don't know how it will be with this project, according to the plan there should have been a harvest already, because it is an auto strain, I am going on vacation in August for 3 weeks so I don't know if she will survive, the other project participant has already given a harvest and this one doesn't even bloom, and the planting day is the same:) !!!.

Week 16 Everybody is on Flower! End of August: daylight 13h20: 7h20/20h40. Day temperature max: 26°C - Night temperature : 17°C Sunny weather - 2/3 rainy days in 2 weeks Enriched the soil with seaweed powder and bat guano. Continue to add flowering nutrients: Grower Master I added some Calmag one time. Watering 2L/plant every 3 days (2 days would be better) With humidity growing and the relatives hot temperatures: the predators are attacking plants. Everything appears so fast: Aphids, caterpillars, leaf miner flies. Did a general defoliation before spray my mixture Garlic + laurel (12cl Garlic juice + 5cl laurel infusion + 1L distilled water: beware PH!!). I sprinkled diatomaceous earth on top of soil to protect and minimize the infestation. Brake Pad Breath: still deep green and bushy. Flowering since 4 weeks. The most advanced, pretty good flowers with long pistils are growing. Spared until now: the plant is victim of Aphids, miner leaf flies and caterpillars in a « reasonable way »….try to eradicate the problem without shocking the plant at this stage. Flash Back#2: around 2 weeks flowering, stretched a few centimeters more, well developed plants with lot of blooming sites. Relatively spared by pests, just some aphids. GMO X Zombie Kush: some difficulties to recover….just engaged the flowering process, not to bad if she resist to the second pest’s wave. Royal Moby: uncertain destiny….recovering good, sativa style: 155cm, just starting the flowering stage…super late! Harvested a pretty auto flower: White Russian by Serious Seeds. Well developed plant, a little bit long to be ready but resinous and meaty buds.

And like in every grow things get to an end, and this one is no exception to that rule, did not yet end but is pretty dam close from it, gave her a last and only defoliation so far, this will help me in a few days wen i harvest her, and for now she looks way more beautiful to my eyes, man she did turn out outstanding , i mean, the looks, the smells , the over all everything this one is a champ. Love her Xmas tree kind a grow with a beautiful and modestly gigantic main cola, covered in beautiful and colorful trichomes, that glue to anything they touch living a complex and unique fragrance that follows you wherever one goes, she is a delight thats for sure. Not much to do besides observing this Queen Mama and wait for her to tell me she is ready to came down <3 <3 <3 As always thank you all for stoping by, for checking my journey , for the love support and for it all, i am blessed and humble with you all. Just a reminder , all i grow is medicine for myself, for me and for my best friend with is me nothing to sell, so don’t even ask.

Week 6 of flower, the buds are fattening up and triching out. The terps are super sweet and very potent smelling. I haven't seen very many nanners or balls lately, but I have seen them popping through the buds occasionally. I still inspect daily, but some days I don't find any, so I hope it won't give me too many seeds. I did notice that the bud that gets the most intense light has started having tips pointed upwards and flipping its leaves. I attributed this to heat stress, so I moved that light over bit. Day 38 update: this last week I was only watering with distilled water and the yellowing has progressed, so I assume I was right about the nitrogen deficiency noted a couple weeks back. Today I top-fed with a homemade fast acting high nitrogen organic fertilizer, we will see if this helps. Also nothing in my current flowering feeding regime has a lot of nitrogen, so I think this will likely solve the problems. I have also decided to give them an extra 15 minutes darkness for a total of 13.25 hours darkness, 7.5 minutes extra on each end, tell them its almost time to finish with ~4 weeks left. Day 40 update: still been pulling herm balls and nanners off the big one, the others seem to have stopped, but i still check them daily. Gonna be slightly seeded for sure, but I hope not too much. Also, the yellowing seems to have been managed after that nitrogen feed.

Hey yall! Happy New Year!!! 😊 🎆 🎇 🌟 🤩 Hope yall are having a great Holiday season. In an attempt to finish this harvest early, as stated previously, I am switching to 12/12 lighting for the flowering period this week! Super stoked as the girls are looking good and have a canopy that is mildly acceptable to me, if I had more time and a larger tent, and not a baby on the way I would veg more. But it's all good, because I wasn't the most confident in Beaver Seeds, although their genetics looks good, there are so soooo many great breeders out there. Anyways I topped the shorter girl early this week and topped the taller girl just about 3 days ago, she has recovered enough for me to feel comfortable to switch to flowering. Also the leaves on my tall girl's right side was getting burnt from my humidifier being too close and the moisture droplets started to fry under the bright LEDs. Temperatures are almost always fluctuating, that and trying to maintain an ideal VPD has been most struggling. Although I haven't dialed in my grow area, and changed where I was growing twice. Get it dialed! Get it dialed! I did at Fermented Irish Sea Moss, I obviously did not collect this from the ocean since I am nowhere near Ireland. But I had it on hand and it was going to waste. Use what you have locally or what would go to waste. Also made some new Fermented Aloe, very easy and I highly recommend it! Also just ordered a C02 meter, adding some DIY C02 with yeast, water and baking soda. Will let yall know how effective it is and get back to you on recipe info. Please ask questions, always room for more conversation! Peace and Love, The Fatty McCoy

Mango Kush – Week 2 Flower (Week 6 from Seed) Bloom boosters, high temps, new lights, and a little tribute to nature Grower: Dog Doctor Strain: Mango Kush (Pheno #1 & Pheno #2) Environment: 8×8 Grow Room Control System: Full TrolMaster ecosystem (Tent-X brain + WCS substrate sensors and more) Lighting: • ThinkGrow Model One • ThinkGrow ICL-300 (x2 inner canopy lights) • Future of Grow Black Series 600W • Lumatek Zeus 465W Compact Pro ⸻ 🌸 Week 2 Flower – Transition Mode The Mango Kush sisters are looking absolutely stunning, even if this week was busier for me and I only managed a few photos. 🌱 Instead, I recorded a video walkthrough so everyone can see the whole room vibe, happy, lush, and full of energy. Both phenos are pushing beautifully into flower: • Pheno #1: Taller, branchy, already stretching into her flower frame. • Pheno #2: Started later, but catching up fast, morphing gracefully into bloom. The morphology shift is very visible this week, especially with the introduction of new bloom-focused nutrients. ⸻ 💧 Feeding Update – The New Recipe This week we swapped Start Booster → Top Booster and introduced a few Plagron classics to complement the Aptus base: Water Mix (per liter): • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 1 ml • Plagron Power Buds – 1 ml • Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml • Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml We paused All-in-One Liquid for now, letting the slow-release pellets in the super soil do their work. The idea: less redundancy, more synergy. 💡 Experiment in Progress: I’ve used Plagron successfully in the past, but this is my first time weaving their trio (Power Buds, Sugar Royal, Green Sensation) into an Aptus base. It’s improvisation, yes, but that’s where discoveries are made. Let’s see how the Mango Kush girls respond! ⸻ 🌡️ Environment – Riding the Highs • Temps: Sometimes peaking at 34°C (🌬️ AC unit on the way soon!) • Humidity: 60–70% at times • VPD: ~1.89 kPa • Soil Moisture: Watering when down to 19–20% • Monitoring: TrolMaster WCS Substrate Sensor → feeding me EC, moisture, and root zone data in real time ⚠️ It’s not a “perfect” VPD chart this week, but the Mango Kush girls are handling it like champs. Sometimes stress teaches resilience, and these ladies are showing strength. ⸻ 💡 Lighting the Room The canopy is now supported by a serious multi-light orchestra: • ThinkGrow Model One – Main engine, full spectrum power • ThinkGrow ICL-300 – Inner canopy lights bringing energy to lower branches, helping all bud sites shine • Future of Grow Black Series 600W – Supporting spectrum balance • Lumatek Zeus 465W Compact Pro – Newly added, boosting the footprint and canopy penetration Together, this creates an even distribution of photons across the room, minimizing shadow zones and preparing the girls for heavy bloom stacking. ⸻ 🧠 TrolMaster Ecosystem – Grow Room Brain The Tent-X controller, paired with WCS substrate sensors, has become my right hand: • Live feedback on soil moisture, EC, temp, and RH • Smarter watering decisions (no guessing, just data) • Automation ready → The dream of a fully self-regulating grow room is coming closer For now, I still hand-water, but soon automation will take over. Until then, it’s hands-on love every day. ⸻ 🐝 A Tribute to Bees – Nature’s Pollinators While we manage indoor canopies with LEDs and controllers, let’s not forget the simple magic of nature. Outdoors, it’s the bees that keep the cycle of life moving. One photo I’m sharing this week is of a bee pollinating a flower, a reminder that without them, much of our food (and medicine) would vanish. Bees are not just workers; they are guardians of biodiversity. 🌍💛 Let’s honor them in every grow, even indoors, where they cannot reach. ⸻ 🔄 Recap So Far – From Seed to Now • Week 0–2: Germination & seedling stage, Aptus Start Booster for early vigor • Week 3–4: Veg growth, branching in Pheno #1, Pheno #2 catching up • Week 5: Flip to flower, stretch begins, PPFD raised to 766 • Week 6 (Now): Morphology shift, bloom boosters added, lights upgraded, temps testing resilience The Mango Kush girls have evolved beautifully every step of the way , two different phenos, one journey, one story. ⸻ 🔮 What’s Next • AC installation → stabilize temps into the sweet 26–28°C range • Closer monitoring of Plagron + Aptus synergy → expect denser flowers • Watch for first true pistils and bud formation in Week 3 Flower • More light power on standby as the canopy fills out ⸻ 📹 This week’s highlight: A video tour of the full room (since fewer photos this time). 📸 A few shots are included to show just how happy the Mango Kush girls are. 🌱 Thank you everyone for reading, learning, and growing along with us! With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 P.S.- Why These Plagron Additives? – A Deep Dive I’ve decided to complement the Aptus base with three Plagron boosters. Each one has its own role in the flowering process, and together they form a very balanced support system for the Mango Kush ladies. 🌸 Power Buds (1 ml/L) • Purpose: Early flowering stimulator • What it does: Power Buds encourages the plant to initiate bud development faster. It shortens the “transition phase” from veg into bloom, helping flowers form sooner and more consistently across the canopy. • Why now: We’re in Week 2 Flower, the exact point where we want to signal the plants: “It’s time to build flowers.” Power Buds sends that hormonal nudge. ⸻ 🍯 Sugar Royal (1 ml/L) • Purpose: Enhances resin, aroma, and stress resistance • What it does: Sugar Royal contains amino acids that stimulate the plant to produce more chlorophyll and secondary metabolites. In plain terms: richer terpene profile, stickier resin, stronger smell, deeper taste. • Extra benefit: It also reduces stress from heat or drought, very useful right now since our temps have been spiking up to 34°C. • Why now: As stretch continues, plants need to stay strong and not waste energy on stress. Sugar Royal helps them thrive despite less-than-ideal VPD. ⸻ 💎 Green Sensation (1 ml/L) • Purpose: All-in-one bloom enhancer for the second half of flower • What it does: Green Sensation is a powerful 4-in-1 booster that improves: • Flowering: denser, heavier buds • Resin production: frostier flowers • Nutrient uptake: more efficient feeding • Soil health: stimulates beneficial microbial activity • Why now: Even though it shines brightest in late flower, starting early allows the soil ecosystem and plant metabolism to adapt gradually. By the time we hit peak bloom, the system is fully primed. ⸻ 🌱 How They Work Together • Power Buds → Kickstarts flower sites • Sugar Royal → Enhances resilience + resin quality • Green Sensation → Boosts density and overall flower performance The trio works like a team of specialists: one accelerates the start, one polishes the quality, and one pushes yield potential. Combined with the Aptus base (Regulator for strength, CalMag Boost for structure, Top Booster for bloom push), it’s a balanced, experimental, but very promising recipe. 💚 Growers love to all 💚

This week unfortunatly i had to supercrop a few gelato tops that were outgrowing the canopy. The strech from the gelato was more than what i was anticipating and the huge leafs that she has doesn't make it easier.
