Hi Growmies, Here we are at week 11, and our botanical star continues to astound with her growth. The stretching phase has persisted throughout the week, each day adding a bit more to her stature. It's as if she's reaching for her personal best, and I'm here to cheer her on every step of the way. As the buds begin their own stretch along the colas, it's time to introduce Green Sensations into her diet. This should give her the extra boost she needs for this critical phase of development. Her thirst is growing, a sign of her expanding needs and vigorous metabolism. It's a balancing act to match her hydration requirements, but one that's deeply rewarding. I can't emphasize enough how smooth and stress-free this experience has been. There's a certain peace that comes with tending to a plant that asks so little yet gives so much. If the yield is anywhere near my usual harvests, I might seriously consider making a permanent switch to soil and the Plagron lineup. It's exciting to ponder the potential of a new cultivation method. This journey has been one of simplicity and satisfaction. The connection between grower and plant, the quiet anticipation of each new stage of growth – these are the moments that make it all worthwhile. Day 37 - Hitting the ladies with a little LST. My cloner project took a bit of a backseat to life, so I'm a little late in the game to top these babies.... So I decided I'm going to do something I have never done before.... Let these plants grow naturally. Yeah, you read that right, I've never let a plant just grow out without some sort of fun training technique. Even my very first grow was riddled with aggressive plant shaping. This time will be different! This time I will be just doing some very basic LST to open up their branches to more light. I went in and stripped some of the inner growth sites that would have produced nothing but popcorn buds being so hidden from light. I then created anchor points around the grow bags by pushing toothpicks through the holes in the mesh. I like this because it gives me the ability to easily move around anchor points by simply sliding out the toothpicks and moving them where I please. I got the idea from seeing someone else use pushpins once, but I didn't have any on hand. And so, the toothpick hypothesis was born, and so far its working very well! Both ladies look much happier now that they're getting more light to their branches. The leaves on these Blazin' Skywalker plants are just so effing fat that they've been doing a solid job at blocking light to the branches. I tried doing some leaf tucking early on, but the branches just weren't quite long enough for me to properly tuck the leaves behind them and would constantly come un-tucked. And im in first flowering Week since last sunday, so far i really can't complain. Everything looks healthy and fine. Plant 3 is still kinda weaker/slower and Plant 4 seems to want to do some sativa things and grows up like hell but oh well, at least Plant 1 and 2 just grow as they should. This week i made the Bio Tabs compost tea for the first time and the plants seem to love it. Each one received 500ml if it. Can't wait to see the results at the end of the run. Again thanks to Bio Tabs for sending it out so i can test it. Humidity was pretty high because of constant rain this week, but it seems like i have made it through it, now just to make sure to finish this run before the summer heat will come. I removed a few leaves here and there because they were stacking or blocking light, i will defoliate in 1-2 weeks for real. Sadly Plant 4 needed an even higher stool then last weeks, so it's on the same height as the others. It was getting not enough light this deep down. That is also because why the scrog net does look like it does right now. I try to make it more "appealing" tonight, but i don't want to break anything and it works like it should right now, so yeah it looks stupid but it's alright. This week I fed Tea ☕️ that consisted of my own worm castings from the bin I made a few months back, molasses for the microbes , and a chicken manure product from Coop Poop. I can already see the difference, unless that’s my mind playing tricks on me, but I like to think that it is working! I think my own castings are the real catalyst to new growth; both now as well as in the future! I did check the trichomes on the plants that seem to be entering senescence (final stage of life). They seem to be still somewhat clear, so I will wait at least another week to harvest. As far as everything else, it has been an easy, uneventful, grow! ☮️💚

As said several times but it is worth repeating when harvesting, this time we followed the logic of comparing 2 plants: the first left to grow freely with just a little cleaning and the second with the application of techniques, a mainlining to be precise. Speed: The good news is that they practically matured together, the one without techniques is perhaps a little more mature but really just a little. Both ready in 10 weeks. Resin/scents/taste: Truly an excellent level of resin and a fantastic coffee/chocolate scent that develops from the trichomes, it wouldn't be easy to say that it's CBD if I didn't know, delicious already in the dry room ready for 15-20 days of treatment and then off to the Autoflower World Cup, they definitely go in the CBD category. Production: The amount of grass is not bad at all, considering that they grew in full winter in vegetative mode, that they are in an 11-liter pot, in my opinion we are around 100 grams both maybe a little less.
