Starts to pop!

Entering bulk phase now, gave them another round of microorganisms and molasses, they wouldn't have needed it. Looking great with just water (not even pH correction). Feels a bit wrong, coming from salts, but the plants are happy.. Weird top on the AGO, looks stunted, like it topped itself. Minor Thrips damage, but nothing to worry about at this stage. I will be gone for 10 days and someone else is looking after the plants 😬 so next update will have to wait until I come back.

Day 23. Girls got pure water yesterday and all looking promising. One girl has tabaco mosaic or just intolerance to magnesium ;))) Alaskan Diesel is my new love, amazing looking plants. Some leave tucking and no other work done, just moving pots every day. No plans, just pure jazz with them. Got eviction notice, 21 of February is my last day, doubt I will make on time ;))))) Happy Growing !!!

A lot of TLC this week and she has bounced back! 😁Really had to dial in and give her the best environment possible. Flowers started to pop up below the canopy so I’m guessing all the defoliation was successful and she is coming back stronger than ever. Will watch for fox tailing as buds form to see if she is reacting from severe light stress early flowering days. Notes from the week: 9/15: Cut burnt tops off her today. Trimmed a lot of the burnt leaves. 9/19: She has recovered nicely from the light stress/burn. Flower stage does not seem to be affected to much. I have noticed some purple calxys and upper leaves near some tops seem to be fading and showing some purple as well. 😈

Overall good week, they have started shooting up and white pistols are popping out everywhere!! happy days!! Ive also applied sumo active boost as a foliar to help with the strech. Cant wait for these girl to show me there buds 🤩🤩🤩🤩 Happy Growing 🙃🙂🙃

dry weight of buds after trimming = 93 gram and about 5 gram of Trim so 98g Total. Actual plan was to leave the plant some more days but after seeing some Nanas developing inside the buds i decided to cut it at day 65 of flower. great smell and cant wait to smoke the final product. All in all definetly a good strain for living soil.

Some of the buds/ leafs were starting to turn brown. It seems like it was a bit past it's prime, I harvested on day 60 of flower. The strain was 56-63 days Jack Herer by pHenos Nursery. The trichoms looked ready, I did have some issues that I've noted in previous weeks but it smells amazing and I can't wait for it to finish drying and curing!

******** Week 9 - Feb 3 to 9/20 (Days 57 - 63 from seed popping out) She has continued to swell this week and stacking her buds. The hairs are turning this week. Kind of a boring week in a way because she has been such an awesome girl to grow!! Have not spent anytime looking at Trich colour this week.....too early anyway. What I have reflected on is that this girl has been very impressive to grow even though I have thrown curve balls at her. A little more attention to the LST ensuring a more even canopy and lighten the feedings, this girl can impress!😍 I wouldn’t get let her go in a tent as she will likely be kissing the light at some point😃 XL strain anyways.💪 On bigger branches I would clip off another node lower than I did to give a little more energy to fill in the tops. Not sure this girls top colas will fill in as much as one would like but........take your time girl😀 Much debate this week over how long she will run in order to determine her last feed.🤪 She had her last feed three times😃 but it was finally Saturday Feb 8, Day 62 as the last day of feed. Plan it to just flush with water and Rezin & Liquid Weight to the end.....or early 70’s anyway. Changed the light schedule again this week. Moved her to 19.5 hours of light because she is still not falling to sleep at lights out. Given she has been very green and tips were burnt a fair bit, will likely use Flawless Finish to flush the medium. Little more detail: Feb 3/20 - Day 57 - Water feed today. Runoff in tray was 6.3pH from yesterday. - 3L plain water. 30ppm and 5.8pH going in. - One minute she looks to be swelling and then others you think she is stalling.....”watched pot” idea. Feb 4/20 - Day 58 - Full feed today. Pot still had some weight. - 3L off full feed with 1125ppm and 6.05pH - Runoff water in tray before feed: 1900ppm and 6.5pH - Runoff water in tray after feed: 1800ppm and 6.3pH - Heavy leaf strip today. She is sticky :) Feb 5/20 - Day 59 - nothing today. - noticing more red hairs today....starting to finish more.....lower is still nice and white.....harvest in stages???? - Light cycle changed to 19.5hrs on and 4.5hrs off. Feb 6/20 - Day 60 - Verify medium today....close to flush - 3L feed of Sensyzime and Rezin @ 2ml/L and Liquid Weight @ 1.5ml/L. = 100ppm and 5.8pH - Runoff was 1450ppm and 6.4pH. - Followed the feed with 2L of 5.2pH water with Sensyzime & Liquid Weight.....bring down pH. - runoff after that was 1100ppm and 6.3pH.....better :) Feb 7/20 - Day 61 - Nothing today, still heavy. Feb 8/20 - Day 62 - ********Last Feed******** - Giving a bit of a flush with Sensyzime, Rezin, and Liquid weight @ 2ml. - 6L feed with 100ppm and 5.25pH going in. - Runoff - 350ppm and 6.3pH. - Evening giver her last full strength feed as listed for the week. - Going in was 5.2pH as she was not coming down much with high 5pH feeds. - Medium got a good soak and good runoff amount - That will be it. Hope she goes 10 to 14 more days.... Feb 9/20 - Day 63 - Dry out day - raised the light a bit.....will use lower pH water in flush......not much else other than let her dry out at this stage....... - her top colas are pushing out more new growth. - the tops are getting wider and forming a point more. 4/15/25 Things are progressing nicely. Some plants dont seem to be doing too much but 3 of them or so that are really standing out. Im curious if some of these are going to be longer flowering time than anticipated with the very obvious sativa dominant plants.

📅 Week 9 – Day 63 / FLO 35 BOX: 80x80 – 250W lamp 🌞 Temp: 26°C 💦 RH: 55% 💥 PPFD: 800+ µmol 🌬️ VPD: 1.5 1.6 ⚡ EC: 1.4 The battle continues – never again big plants in small pots 😅 It’s really hard to keep them in perfect condition, there’s almost no room for mistakes. I’m keeping VPD high to push metabolism and speed up bud development. Watering is split into two cycles per day, EC around 1.4–1.5. Fans are set just right – enough to make the leaves slightly move, but not enough to stress the pistils. Stay tuned – and keep growing 🌱

This past week has been a blast! After getting these ladies nutrition straightened out, they are thriving!💚🌱💚 I gave defoliated wayyy more than what I see other growers traditionally doing. After the "3rd and final haircut" I defoliated two more times 😅 Thank you the GD community for the support and resources along the way 🙏 My only concern now is the tent actually becoming too crowded.😆. So, after seeing the N deficiency and feeding it some protein, I noticed after all this time there were no new roots forming in the sencond zone in the hydroton, so I thought maybe I forgot to drill holes to let the roots through. Turns out when I was moving things around, only the very bottom of the basket was in the water, so the hydroton was mostly dry and the roots were drying up before getting to the water. So this week I made a new carrier for the pot to sit further down in the water and this should remedy future N deficiency as the roots will be getting the nutes from the aquaponic system. Plant still looks great, started LST this week to help fill the width of the screen. Will be moving into the tent after my widow gets harvested.

These girls continue to shine in the finals days. It's day 63 and they arrive at their destination. Will start plucking them one by one. First one being plant 3 I believe. Then two then one. Reverse order of naming. Been getting water every day and will have the final pictures soon.
