Surprise Surprise 🎁. She's turning purple

Welcome to my MilkyWay F1 Auto Diary, Untopped VS topped. Results are in. Days 71-82 ripening 0-13 week 11&12 Went well. She did bulk up a tad. But not much. They spent most their lives under a 100w. But, the bud is really dense all over. No larf, at all. Its a really good quality of bud I'm getting from both phenos. As far as ToppedVsUntopped well, that result is in. With a seeds used from the same pack (same parent) making true F1s as they need to be from the same batch. It why we all got different phenos, and those who ran more than 1, from their seeds, the phenos are very close. One of mine had more of a fade and looks more purple. Both smell very lovely & fruity. Nice trichome production with very dense but, rather small buds if I do say so. But the grade itself is very high. (As grade is not rated on size) overall both turned out very similar. Even fade wise, they've both developed a lovely colour finishing under high co2 environment with the SE5000 really has brought out a lot of fade i normally do not get. look at the start. It was only a few days under this light and the past 14 days they've both popped. I will also say. A lot of their life was spent under a 12-12 (3/5s of flowering). Topped VS Untopped pheno 2 & 1 Are very similar as I've stated this area will be filt in with harvest comments. Bud smell. How the dry went. And after a weeks cure. I'll rate it. So watch this space. These 2 phenos have been on just water for 10 days. I did a quick run off test. Got back 145ppm my tap is 110. So, they're good to go. Trichome wise. 95% cloudy 30-35% amber. (Hard to see, I'll try get pics with my scope) but, as you see. Both are fully ripened. Anymore and its just bud deg. Both plants leaves are showing end of life. Some are dying. (I'VE BEEN WATCHING THESE LEAVES AND SEEN THEY'VE BEEN DEAINED, ITS NOT BR) Lights The SE5000 was used for the Ripening phase. With high temps and co2 i pushed my boundaries and got a lovely fade reaction from doing so. How I know its down to this light as I've put my Runtz under it. And as soon as I did. It developed fade. My Frosted G even started getting light purple on its sides. The temp in tent has been pushed to 31-33c (that's not leaf temp as I've fans blowing on my plants, and that lowers surface temps by a few degrees.) They've been on 17hrs of high powered light. At 25-30cm id no choice. My temps are mad high this time of year. Harvested Both plants are been pult they're getting their last few hrs. You'll then see the last few pics in a few hrs. I'll get bud shots later, smoke reviews and then to be fair. I'll then mark it by the GD rating system. As I do with all my strains. (So I've 2-3 wk delay in my diaries as they're Harvested, mostly) both plants I'll try push them as far as I can through the drying process whole. But, as I'm dealing with high temps. Lower RH and a fastercl dry is pref to a longer dry in hot conditions might not make sense, but 30+ hot weather harvests, I've got this down. Mind you only this round all my other hot harvests some took a few weeks to rid the hay smell. This avoids it and locks in potency. Most of the drying is done by leaving the plant in the substrate just before the plant goes for itself for fluids. 4-5 day dry as opposed to 5-6 day dry with weed that loses half its stenght. (dry harvesting look it up) Thanks to James from RQS, although I know everyone and their sister got the offer for these seeds I am defo going to be trying more from RQS, if it's buying. I'll get round to it, and depending on the quality of smoke it might be soon. If its a real nice auto, I'd love to try a fem of theirs for my winter crop in October. But, that'll depend. I've lots I want to buy & try.. and when favs are found. I'll invest. I would like to thank everybody for the activity this diary has gotten. Its possibly one of my most active diaries I've done without a harvest. And that's in no short means down to all the views and likes from you guys. And for sure I will fully complete it, with results on the smoke Quality from both phenos, if it varies, but, results thus far, structure wise they're shockingly similar. Scary so. Topping has very little affect to the structure. She grew a main cola. But both phenos, turned puples I will say the topped one was a more troublesome plant. Maybe that had a role onin its morphology. And maybe it'll affect the bud also. The topped was more demanding nutrient wise, and drank more. Maybe to support a more even bud load. (I've yet to do a through inspection, but on the VS front, it's kinda in the air about quality, structure wise, it had very little difference. Look for yourself at the heights are 3-4cm dif) lots still to come. And I'll update it soon with more results. Although both phenos owe their bud quality to 2 x 100 watts SF-1000 (SE5000 was used for ripening lovely fade) and I used a P1000, they shared even light distribution in the end for the most part. Also I pruned the first and second main internodes, so I'm leaving 4 main branches to create the plant, i will try to keep them all at the same height. Also i must admit that i don't like nothing the cable i used to fix them to the floor as it's potentially danger for the branches, it cuts like a knife!. Asap i will buy a good rubber covered cable for do the job. Also i will put one of my training structures in the floor, top supported by the 2 horizontal 6 mm aluminium rods i used to LST @images. -----WEEK SUMMARY----- Well well well, prunning & topping time 😋!!!. This week temperatures raised a lot in my country full direct to 35º along day due to warm winds coming from inside land, what's called here "Terral", while it's a name, it can be translated as something similar to "Sandwindy" 😰😰😱😷😷. 9 plant scrog X2 600W hps

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. Not much to report on the Bubble Runtz, , she popped above soil on day 3 and is now on day 7 and is working on her 2nd set of true leaves. I started prepping the Coco Coir by flushing down to .4 EC and then soaking in water with an EC of 2.0 with Cal Mag and a PH of 6.8. I will let it soak until the seedlings are ready to be transplanted hopefully by next weekend or shortly thereafter. The weather in my region is perfect for cultivating seedlings as it is fairly hot and humid and I only have the Spectrum X running at 30% so it is not putting out much heat and I also have a humidifier running in the tent on low which is maintaining a RH of around 68%. I do have the AC Infinity fan kick on here and there just to keep some fresh air in the tent but no real issues with heat. This is my first run with Tastebudz genetics and super excited to try a cross of Bubble Gum and Runtz. I plan to build a mainline and flip as soon as all 5 mainlines are built, hopefully around week 7. This Medic Grow light is perfect for a 5X5, and the AC Infinity 8" exhaust does an excellent job of keeping the tent cool. I will set up an auto feeding system which consists of a reservoir, and some 1/2" tubing that is hooked to a submersible pump in the reservoir and set to feed for 1 minute every 6 hours through halo feeders connected to ball valves to adjust the flow. The runoff then flows via gravity to a 5 gallon bucket in the tent with a shallow pan condensate pump that pumps the runoff out of the tent when it gets above 3 inches to another reservoir. I have been growing fruit and vegetables for over 40 years and I have recently switched to high frequency fertigation in Coco Coir for my tomatoes as well, as I believe this growth medium combined with this technique is the safest, most environment friendly, and foolproof method of getting monster yields no matter what crop you are growing, and I have seen massive results in both cannabis and tomatoes. My goal is to have these ladies transplanted by around day 14-17, and have the first toppings done within 48 hours or so of transplant. I hope everyone has a safe and peaceful weekend. Growing really well upto now just transplanted them into there forever homes now they are 2 weeks old excited to watch them grow and see the results in a few months time, have not fed any nutrients yet but will now start commencing week 3 i will be using Canna products again on this grow

MONDAY 5/19 12AM The Witches Wedding started growing balls so I hope she doesnt pollenate these!!! 5/30/25 3am!! 🚨 THREE COLA VS.4 COLA EXPERIMENT. Today I'll be doing a weight comparison. It looks as iff 3 cola may perform as well as a 4 cola while giving extra space for air and leaf growth. I like 3 or 4 plants in the small tents. I ENJOY growing and getting to know all the different kinds of strains. SO 3 COLA, in 1 gallon, small space limited fresh air, limited power OR. heat will kill everything. lack of space means lack of air movement. If I can get the same amount from 3 colas THEN I can grow SAFLEY without PROBLEMS from lack of light or air....... more plants fewer colas but the SAME amount of weed. Todays weight test should either prove or disprove 3 colas in small spaces 3 plants 9 main colas with training to make SURE its a transfer of energy without entropy. suck on that fucknewton, he was a loser. I shit on your 2nd law of motion. 🚨 630am Just weighed both plants: THREE COLA 26.67. FOUR COLA 28.75 ounce. WHAT 4 COLA is bigger? Not necessarily. PER COLA the 3 cola plant has 8.89 PER COLA. FOUR COLA has 7.1875 ounce. 1.7025oz difference. 3 Cola has more viable buds at the bottom of the plant because of the extra light and airflow!! CONCLUSION: IM LIGHTYEARS AHEAD OF MY TIME. nope it was the energy drink. Taking into consideration I dont like trimming and each cola can be easily lightly trimmed (I dont grow to keep leaves for shake, not worth the mess) then hung to dry, then cut the buds off directly into Grove Terp. Loc bag with minimal trimming and it's DONE. NO STUPID trim jail, big mess....none of that. clean and simple. i over fed her big time this is my 1st grow DO NOT defoliate lol i did it twice in veg and stunted her big time tricombes look nice i got about 3 weeks till done she smells great and is frosty dence buds so far

If you have been following my diary, you may know I appear to have an auto that started flowing during an 18 hour light schedule. Although the package came as a cookies gelato feminized seed (not an auto) but all indication sure appears to be an auto. Just an added bonus for a quick harvest, no complaints and love the looks of the genetics on the cookies gelato.

This is a great strain from a great seed company in Canada, 34 street seeds. I have had great results from germination to harvest with their strains and these Cookies are no different. Nice tight nugs, some great tasting hard hitting smoke 💨 They grew easily enough, no disease or weirdness that couldn’t be solved by proper NPK. This would be a great strain for beginners looking for an easy harvest, with some good bud to show. I definitely did not maximize the potential of this strain this go around, but I still have 2 seeds from the 5 and it will make it back to my garden again. ❤️🇨🇦😎💨

Week 9 All plants are growing vigorously in a healthy way. Side branches are stretching, structure is enlarging since topping. Approximately same size; the bigger are Flash Back #2 & Brake Pad Breath. Daylight 15h40 - 6h20/22h Found some aphids on the Royal Moby: I sprayed Black Soap on every plants and cleaned the infested plant leaf by leaf. I placed sticky traps in each pot: yellow, blue and black for the different type of insects Major parts of the time plants are in the veranda; clean, sunny and ventilated room. It’s easier to control pests and diseases, but the risk is the contamination between plants in this type of closed space. I sprayed Neem oil too. 2 watering: -roots stimulator + enzyme -grow nutrients + Bio Heaven Added more soil in pot (1.5L/plants) : Worm Humus + bat guano + diatomaceous earth (natural mineral insecticide) + vermiculite Sprayed Fish Mix.
