So I left for a week and had a trusted friend take over watering duties. A few things of note: I was concerned over overheating the grow so I turned the power down to 75% and ran the light up another 6 inches. This had the unfortunate effect of less airflow and cooler temps so I got powdery mildew that I would be fighting for the remainder of the grow. That aside, the plants looked way more mature when I returned home, with nice trichome development and density.

In week 10 I have some plants, which have grown taller than the rest (canopy is appr. 80 cm high now). In order to not have to raise my lamp, I rather correct their height by 'supercropping' them. Supercropping is a technique developed by SOMA from SOMA_seeds and works VERY WELL. Instead of topping your plants (=cutting off the main stem) it is better to take the main stem between your fingers (appr. 15-20 cm form the top) and brake the fibers inside and then bend it downwords. This way the stem will stay intact and heal itself and you dont loose the main buds growing on it later. In the video above I show and explain how I supercrop a plant. The plants are now getting more and more into flowering and therefore I switch the dimmer on my SANlight EVO4-120 plants to 100% now (see in video above). The BIO NOVA nutrients are increased as well a little bit, so the plants can build big buds.

At this point I’m gonna let the plants tell me when they’re ready. Everything is going well at the most I’m taking them down at week 9 of flower. Did their last defoliation and changed the climate a lil to push some last trichomes but things are coming along

Week 4 – Flowering (Day 22–28) 🌸🌱 At the end of Week 3 (Day 21) we carried out a deeper round of defoliation and some lollipopping. By now the stretch is coming to an end, with the plants settling close to their final height. We’ve also stopped foliar feeding, since every single plant is now covered in developing buds. To keep everything protected, we refreshed the beneficial insects, better be safe than sorry, how we say in German, sicher ist sicher. Already in this early stage of flowering, we can clearly spot differences in structure, bud formation and even the first aromas. Some phenos are showing exceptional promise — those will be the ones we’ll highlight more in the coming updates. 🔎 Pheno notes so far: AF Biostimulant 2 – strong side branching, open structure, already pushing citric aromas. Phwoah! Grow Genius silica came thru in a big way, blessing the Blue Paint crew with the rigidity we’d hoped for. One pheno has a slight curve to it and it’s now evident that they’re starting to break away from each other in phenotypical expressions by way of height, strength and leaf structure (possible variations in new growth width), but these might well be environmental influences rather than genetic. Seedling feeding regimen has been swapped out for the veg stack. The environment of the nursery tent saw a slight shift downward in temperature as the seasons press closer to winter but this didn’t stop progress, even after the Blue Paint crew got a repotting, increasing their root space 10 fold. With the increase in legroom they also got an upgrade to first class with a tent of their own as older auto tent sisters were shifted to their final grow space. Unfortunately this might only tide them over for a short while. The worry is, longer than expected flower cycles mean their final home, the photo tent, is still packed to the rafters with ripening flower and Blue Paint is coming up behind at an alarming rate. Things are looking great. Now that it's September I thought I should really get that tomato roof up. But.... My idea of using stuff I already had didn't work out. So it looks like I'm headed to Lowe's on Wednesday! Barneys says 3rd or 4th week of this month, same as Critical Cure, but Cure is going to be ready much sooner (a week, maybe 2) than this Caramel, which makes sense since the Caramel is about 70% Indica vs the Cure being about 80% Indica.

- Third week Came back from my trip and she really shot up PH was down (around 5.5) so she absorbed a good amount of nutrients while I was away Changed reservoir with a dosage of Base A- Base B- Vege- Silica- using 1.0 ML per Liter Roots are nice but I'm starting to think she might have some sort of rot going on, going to introduce Peroxide in the water to help her out No sexing yet, I'm assuming she's a female (hopefully) Did some small LST in order for the bottom line to grow a little bit

Both ladies growing very well and receive defoliation and now will be stretching so far very happy with genetic 👍🙂
