De-chlorinated tap water pH 6.0. did a 3L run through had about 1ltr run off due to high humidity this week, she never needed it I guess. But just wanted something to pull fresh oxygen through substrate. She's getting so damn big, have to flip her tomorrow else she'll never fit under 600w hps in tent 🤦‍♂️😍

week 9 - 1/25-2/1 Was going to harvest but its just absolutely not even close to ready... Going to try to make this work with limited space as every great grower would try.... I put it in 48 hours of darkness thinking iw as going to chop it but when i pciked it up i just couldnt have the heart to move forward and decided to turn the lights off... (i also fed right before 48 hours of dark because i was planning on keeping growing then decided fuck it lets chop b/c of a major setback while i was on vacation but now its experiment time!!!) ... lets see what happens! ASLO recipe called for NO CAL MAG but im adding 3 ML to the mix b/c i think itll help since im in coco... elts see

Last week, my pound cake auto plant totally exploded with growth! It's insane how much it's changed. I swear it grew several inches overnight. The leaves are this gorgeous shade of green, and the whole thing looks super healthy and happy. I'm seriously so proud of my little plant baby.

The plant was looking a bit sad after transplant and the defoliation and training I've been doing. The shape is looking quite good now so I'll leave it alone to do its thing for a couple of weeks before flipping to flower.

Just waiting and watering when needed. 21 Mar - smells like overripe oranges. Almost like they're starting to rot.

So.... as you guys can see above i HAD to go brutal with this lady applying the "SuperCropping" technique, im not gonna lie that i was very worried since i had stress out the plant just a few day before this with heavy lollipopping and defoliation, but i had no other choice, the plant was still going up, no matter what hahah, she is a REAL BEAST, and it does not matter what i do she still want to be hugging the light hahaha, im FKD, but whatever lets see how this goes!! the recover was super fast, amazing how she just did almost not care at all with all the pinching and breaking of the stems and went right back up!! stay tuned

Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. She has been great since day one very good growth rate excellent structure and lots of bud sites formed and filling out .. she has 7 friends to start but we down to three two females and a male plant .. The selected male show resistance to cold, humidity, lack of water .. the male had lots of growth and will make a suitable plant for some pollen ...

I originally had applied to Green House Seed Co.'s Taste of the USA Contest here on Grow Diaries. Turns out I was ineligible but the good folks at GHS still had the big hearts to send me seeds anyway. So big ups to them for hooking this grower up. Welcome to the Sea of Fire 🔥 For this grow were using the Dark Phoenix seeds that GHS sent to me to create a Sea of Green. I've got 8 plants in 8 1L pots. I've decided to use Black Swallow's living soil for this grow so we won't need to add anything but water for the first 3 weeks or so. Our goal for this grow is to have these girls ready for harvest in about 20 weeks which will bring us to the beginning of November 2021. If all goes according to plan these firey buds should be filling my friends stockings this Christmas.

7/19: Started new nutrients today. Filled gallon jug with new nutes. Poured half of new nute mix in half gallon jug. Poured the entire half gallon jug into reservoir. 7/20: Bumped light intensity to 50% 7/21: Filled reservoir to the 2nd line today. Added a total of 1 gallon to res to get it to that line. Poured the rest of the mixed nutes for this week (half gallon) and then another half gallon of just plain water. 7/24: Bumped light intensity to 55% 7/25: Sadness today 😞.. While in the process of doing more LST today I accidentally snapped the main stem. I Panicked! Moved plant back in opposite direction to counteract the split. Will be monitoring very closely! 🙏🏾 ***** For this Grow****** “Day Air Temperature” will be the max temp of tent for the week. “Substrate Temperature” will be the average temp of tent for the week. “Night Air Temperature” will be the lowest temp of the tent for the week.

I put a net in to try to get a more even canopy and utilise the space of the tent. It didnt really work too well though. I ended up only leaving it in for periods as i found it really annoying to water and manage devices in the tent with the net in.
