My first seed didn't make it due to technical difficulties, so I popped another to try to maximize the output from the mini machine. She is growing well at day 7. Seeing some leaf curling from her adjusting to the environment, but she is still showing steady growth. She is a week behind the 2 plants that were originally germinated. She will be topped around day 10 or 12 as soon as the third node comes up enough to pinch off. I started this setup to compete in the solo cup challenge, but I needed something that will be minimal maintainence and doesn't require hand watering. So this is what I ended up with. I will not be entering since I know it will bring controversy, but I am going to follow the rules and treat this grow as if I am competing. I didn't want to use regular solo cups because last time I had a lot of algae growing in the root zone when I harvested. I opted to use a black light proof cup. These cups were 27 oz originally so I filled them with 16 oz of water, marked the level, then cut them down to 16 oz. I set the drain pipes about an inch from the bottom so they have a little reserve if I have pump or power issues. I know people will see the drains as a way for roots to grow out of the cup but in reality I have to keep the entire pipe free of roots or it will clog and overflow. So I am actually losing a little volume due to this. I filled the bottom inch or so of the cups with river gravel to stop the perlite from washing into the reservoir. I am running a 5 gallon reservoir with a small air pump and the plants will be getting irrigated 24 hours a day from an aquarium power head pump. I set the system up to be totally self contained and easily portable. It was all built from things I had laying around other than 97¢ for the cups. I will be keeping the feed simple as always feeding maxigro and maxibloom with a couple flower boosters.

Hago limpieza del tercio inferior de la planta, de todas las ramas y nudos que no superan la línea del dosel marcada por el 4º nudo (1er topping) También hago topping (2º) a todas las ramas principales La idea es tener 12 ó 14 colas principales para que no se hagan muy altas De paso saco unos cuantos clones de las ramas inferiores eliminadas 😁💥 Para superar el estrés, hago las siguientes aplicaciones y riego: - Riego con 1 Litro de Té Vegetativo de Lurpe Solutions. 2018-04-03 Week 14 Day 1 Not much to say, there isn't much drama going on in growroom 2, the only things I do is giving them water and nutes 2 - 3 times/week and making sure that the lamp don't burn the girls. I gave them 4 liters today, and since they live in smartpots I can see when the pot gets wet when watering the girls, but you could hardly notice that. They are getting thirsty 😛 The flowers are developing very good, they look really healthy and their colors are fine. Crazy Cookies nr 1 is 66 cm Crazy Cookies nr2 is 52 cm 2018-04-04 Raised the lamp to it’s highest level and turned all girls 1/4 turn, it’s really hard to get in to the ladies in the back, I need to push the girls up against the walls on each side and crawl on the floor to be able to turn them and give them water/nutes. Week 3 males developing right on time! Pollen will be dispersing soon. So now trying to nail down who daddy was? Week 3 day 1 males looking very nice, no sign of either one showing female flowers( no hermaphrodite/ true male) but I will stress them more after reveg for severe stress test. For final results. Looks like I forgot to feed mom! Shit! But I did not.I used bio tone starter 5-1-1 by Espoma gonna feed in am. With tomato tone with myco 3-4-6 it's all I got and organic to boot 👍 Last grow with Captains cake went to 11 weeks 2 - 3 applications should get me to finish line. No flush should be needed, it's feeding the seeds growth. Looking at 07/01/2018 harvest. Fingers crossed! 05/05/2018 First burst of male pollen is flying in the air, gonna try to get video of it as I shake the males. Buds are forming very well. Smell is nice and increasing. Been removing big fan old leaves so sunlight can penetrate all the plant, and concentrate energy on flowers. Organic fertilization very carefully to prevent nutrient burn.

I forgot to turn on the ventilation fan. But, fortunately, my children did not die.

All I can say is the tops... they're everywhere! It's been a good week tbh I forgot to feed her so she's looking abit pail but gave her some nice scran for the week so she should perk up a little, overall I'm happy 😊 so remember happy growing and stay green ✌️ 💚 👌

Week 6 is here! Her buds continue to pack on the weight! I cannot wait to see her final harvest weight. She smells lovely! Somewhat floral with earthy notes. We are on the homestretch to harvest!
