we opened these diaries the bsfseeds guys give us these Strains to testing. the rainbow on week 3 the oldest and one on week 2 , the two really beautiful and become beautiful Jung lady's really quick. the small one is the San Fernando Valley also from b.s.f.seeds , to our bad we get just one of these and take 3 week's.

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our Grandaddy Purple from Blimburn Seeds! She is looking really good this week. She still have a few of the feformed leaves that look wrinkled. From some googling, I would guess either Tobacco Mosaic Virus or just a natural deformity. She a cutting from a previous run and she has it then too. It isn't wide spread and she still put out quality medicine. Even though she wasn't very Grandaddy Purplish, she was still gassy and frosty! Other than the funky leaves, she looks super healthy with her leaves "praying" to the canna-gods! Now, let me nerd out with the deets! LIGHTING: Increased lighting at dimmer last week with good results. Was about 70k LUX on average @ Canopy. Turning it up a bit more this week. 8 Outer Boards @ 665.5w 6 Inner Boards @ 601w LUX APP MAXES OUT READING 78750 LUX @ Canopy. Lets hope its not too much! RHIZOSPHERE: If you didn't tune into the last update, I had just flushed pots due to high PPM runoff. pH of runoff was at 6.3. PPM and pH are tested using 2 separate calibrated BlueLab meters. Week Seven Flipping to flower was a good idea because of the 6 plants in this little space. They all got into stretch and I had to adjust the light a few times. The gorilla cookies (front right) is the smallest and slowest, the gg4 sherbet is also pretty small (back mid), the orange sherbet. (Frond mid) almost catched up to the other older plants. The sfv purps (front left) stretched a bit, some sidebranches shot up, which is very nice. The gelato (back left) stretched more than the sfv and shows nice flowers starting to grow. The bagseed (back right) shot up the most with 3 big colas. All plants got a topdessing and mulch from hemp clippings. I water every to every other day with 0,5 to 1 liter. The tent got filled up pretty fast and I’m fighting the urge to defoliate. Plan to wait till day 21 of flower. Thanks for reading.

9.30 - I build a little fermenting CO2 generator this week, mostly for shits since I'm not going to seal the tent up. Otherwise things are going as expected. Noticed a really big change in bud structure and how they are densing up. Really enjoying the show and the change in colors and pistil behavior. Got her propped up to increase circulation and get a better idea of when she needs water. 10.1 - Just documenting the bud evolution for fun :) 10.4 - Whatchu guys think of my rescue marijuana plant!? Not bad, huh?! 10.6 - Plant grew some new whites and oranges and buds are bigger 10.7 - changing every day. What a wonderful thing

Both plants still vigorous and healthy this week, accelerating along. Each plant is starting to show subtle differences in the flowering stage. Gave each a mini defoliation for the final time mid week. I also added the final ingredient in the nutrient mix in the end of week feed, GREEN SENSATION! So far the nutrients have been superb, think i’ll stay with them after this grow. Some really cool frosting going on 😎

This week the new growth of the plants transitioned from looking relatively healthy to droopy and yellowed. I wasn't sure what the issue was at first and thought it might be light stress. After more research, I determined that I had what looked very much like a zinc deficiency, which is almost always a symptom of over-watering, which is the most common mistake for new growers, i.e. "Me". I had assumed that adding a good amount of perlite to my soil and using smart pots would prevent me from running in to any drainage issues but I guess not. I was up to 1.5 liters per plant when I realized that it was too much. I also realized I was misreading my syringe which I use to mix nutrients, and that i had been giving only 1/10 of the liquid nutrients that I thought. I'm super embarrassed about the mistake but I'm going for full transparency here, so there it is. Course correction takes places after day 31.

She is almost there as most trichomes are cloudy. One more week on nuts then one week flush and harvest time. Should be enjoyable harvest as the plant is quite small but pack so I will trim it on the plant 😁

All are frosty af but I think the star of the show is the buttermilk biscuits. In-house has earned the rep that they have for frostiness FS. Everything goin smooth and I'm excited to get this one done. Only water here on out.

I Should have been chopped down 5 plants instead of just one however I lost her 4 sisters because of fungal infection due to a high humidity and and a very hot day. Wish I could have been able to get a lot of jars full of this wonderful and magical organics nugs.

I just completed my 8th week since the flip, so I flushed each of these girls by running about 2 gal of water through each. I got the PPM down into the 200s, which is about normal for my hard water. They are all displaying some nice big buds, which smell of sweet coffee.

Cellular respiration is the fundamental metabolic process that occurs in all living plant cells (roots, stems, leaves, flowers, seeds) to convert glucose into usable energy (ATP). It requires oxygen and produces carbon dioxide and water as byproducts. Root respiration is not a separate type of respiration, but rather a specific instance of cellular respiration occurring in the roots. Roots absorb oxygen from the air spaces in the soil to fuel their energy needs. Roots require a substantial amount of ATP for essential functions like nutrient and water absorption, as well as growth and maintenance of their tissues. The primary form of respiration in healthy plant roots is aerobic respiration, which is highly efficient, yielding up to 30-38 ATP molecules per glucose molecule. Anaerobic Respiration (Inefficient): If roots are deprived of oxygen (e.g., in waterlogged soil), they switch to anaerobic respiration, which is far less efficient, producing only 2 ATP molecules per glucose molecule and also generating alcohol, which can be toxic and kill the plant. Therefore, a plant with healthy, oxygenated roots performing efficient aerobic respiration in addition to the rest of the plant's cellular respiration has a much greater overall ATP production and energy capacity. A soil without organic matter will generally have a low Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC). Biochar is often prized for its potential to increase soil cation exchange capacity (CEC), but this effect is highly dependent on the specific properties of the biochar (feedstock and pyrolysis temperature) and the soil type to which it is applied. High-ash biochars, especially those produced at lower temperatures and applied to acidic or sandy soils, can significantly boost CEC by providing abundant binding sites for cations like calcium (Ca²⁺), magnesium (Mg²⁺), and potassium (K⁺). Biochar is more sustainable than typical organic matter for long-term soil improvement primarily due to its high stability and resistance to microbial decomposition, allowing it to persist in the soil for hundreds to thousands of years. This longevity provides a lasting positive effect on soil properties, particularly by increasing the cation exchange capacity (CEC) over time, while regular organic matter breaks down much faster. Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. it's a secret. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what mine gets.

Idk I thought I was having some problems some leafs were getting spotty I think it was Ph or too many nutrients but whatever it was it stopped and I clipped the spotty leaves. It's not growing much higher a very short plant its 25 but the main cola without lst would probably be around 30 inch. I believe the leaf death might have also been natural but I clipped leaves anyways for lower bud sites. Don't think much more height is coming with this plant. Hoping buds will fatten up over the next two weeks. I think harvest might even come before that if the signs are right

Start of week 7, everything is going alright. Removed some leaves, done SCROG, increased amount of nutrients. Added Nirvana from AN. No more FloraBlend. 5 litres of water from now on. Also removed some LST points. Day 43 - 5L with nutrients, removed leaves, done SCROG. Nirvana added. Day 45 - As you can see on photos, buds are actually purple. I'm fckin happy. Day 47 - 5L water. So since last feed was at 3/4 I thought to give her the full dose. Found the temperature was dropping below 10 on a night so I bought a fan heater to go under the plant and circulate greenhouse. After the first day of 28/27 degree heat some of the fan leaves started to change colour and dry up which I got advice on and found this is normal when coming to the end of your cycle also found I had spider mites Found some of them and removed also sprayed plant down and flushed

Welcome Back!💚 Nach der fünften Woche des Wachstums entwickelt sich die THC-V weiterhin wie gewünscht. Durch das topping und das anwenden der LST Technik wird das Höhenwachstum gut im Zaun gehalten. Ich habe die Triebe mit Erdnägeln nach unten gedrückt, damit die Pflanze nun besser in die Breite wachsen kann. Ich denke, das die Pflanze nun noche eine Woche in der Vegetativen Phase bleibt und dann in die Blüte übergeleitet wird, da es sich um eine reine Sativa handelt. Ich habe die Pflanze zudem die Woche noch mit Orgatrex gegossen Die Umgebungsgegebenheiten sind OK: ————— 🌞 Temp: 21°C 🌚 Temp: 18°C bis 19°C 💨 RH: 54% VPD: 0,85 kPa ————— Viele Grüße 👋
